디젤자동차에는 배기가스 중 미세먼지의 배출을 줄이기 위해 디젤미립자포집필터(DPF)가 설치되어 있다. 그런데 디젤자동차에서 DPF로 인해 화재가 발생하는 사례가 보고되고 있다. 이 논문에서는 디젤자동차의 배기가스 배출 규제 실태 및 배기가스 저감 장치에 대해 알아본 후, DPF로 인한 자동차화재 사례, DPF로 인해 발화된 경우의 특징, DPF와 관련된 자동차화재 발생 요인과 예방대책 및 화재원인조사 시 고려사항에 대해 분석한다. 그리고 자동차화재 조사와 관련하여 DPF로 인한 화재의 입증절차를 제시한다.

In this paper, the integration of the firing test stages at the acceptance test of the propelling charge has been studied using statistical analysis on the basis of the test data of K676 and K677 propelling charge for K9 self propelled howitzer. Acceptance test of K676 / K677 propelling charge consists of 3 stages and each stage is charge assessment test, charge uniformity test and charge proving ground test. Many of rounds are fired and much money is spent to prove the charge performance at each stage. The result of t-test shows that there is no difference between charge uniformity and charge proving ground test stage of K676 and K677 propelling charge.

In this paper a nonlinear alternative of Leray-Schauder type is proved in a Banach algebra involving three operators and it is further applied to a functional nonlinear integral equation of mixed type $$x(t)=k(t,x({\mu}(t)))+[f(t,x({\theta}(t)))]\(q(t)+{\int}_0{^{\sigma}^{(t)}}v(t,s)g(s,x({\eta}\(s)))ds\)$$ for proving the existence results in Banach algebras under generalized Lipschitz and $Carath{\acute{e}}odory$ conditions.

As technologies are developed and systems are complicated, hazards embedded in the system are also increasing. proving safety and managing the safety is more scientific and organizational domain so that safety management system is pursuing to be active formation detecting the factors of hazard and managing them beyond passive-way. In the future, in order to establish and manage national safety management system, it is important to have effective system and manage it and also more important that all the people related to target system has to change their recognition and to play roles in it.

3-D noise map of Mugue Dong of the Ulsan City has been constructed. Comparing with the measured noise level, the predicted noise level has been confirmed for its accuracy. Correction factors for better prediction result using the constructed noise map have been investigated proving that its method is useful. The procedure of noise map construction method has also been introduced using RLS-90, Cadna A.

This paper describes IMT-2000 Testbed System which consists of ATM based IMT-2000 exchange(A-lMX), RNC simulator, HLR simulator, SCP simulator, B-ISDN subscriber simulator and MS simulator. Simulators were developed to verify the mobile functions and basic services of IMT-2000 like Videophone, VoD(Video on Demand), and Internet access. UPT(Universal Personal Telecommunication) service could be adapted well to this testbed system. Until the entire network elements are developed fully, this testbed system can be used to prove new services in IMT-2000 network.

A simultaneous analytical, experimental and numerical analysis of crack initiation, propagation and breaking process of the Central Straight through Crack Brazilian Disk (CSCBD) specimens under diametrical compression is carried out. Brazilian disc tests are being accomplished to evaluate the fracturing process based on stress intensity factors (SIFs). The effects of crack inclination angle and crack length on the fracturing processes have been investigated. The same experimental specimens have been numerically modeled by a higher order indirect boundary element method (HDDM). These numerical results are compared with the existing experimental results proving the accuracy and validity of the proposed numerical method.

A useful method of proving the finite decidability of an equationally definable class V of algebras (i.e., variety) is to prove the decidability of the class of finite directly indecomposable members of V. The validity of this method relies on the well-known result of Feferman-Vaught: if a class K of first-order structures is decidable, then so is the class {$\prod$$_{i}$＜n/ $A_{i}$│ $A_{i}$ $\in$ X (i < n), n $\in$ $\omega$}. In this paper we show that the converse of this does not necessarily hold.d.d.

In industrial multivariable plants, it is often the case that all of plant outputs are measured not simultaneously, but seriallu. While Reference 1 proposed a special type of observer (referred to as "serial-sampling" type obserrversL. which was provento be very effective in this situation, it alsopointed out that the observer may have some minor problems in case of practical applications. In this paper, it isshown that these kind of problems can be resolved by proving the existence of the solution of the simultaneous equations (35) of Reference 1.

It is proved that $k[X_1,{\ldots},X_v ]$ localized at the ideal ($X_1,{\ldots},X_v$ ), where k is a field and $X_1,{\ldots},X_v$ indeterminates, is not weakly quasi-complete for $v{\geq}2$, thus proving a conjecture of D. D. Anderson and solving a problem from "Open Problems in Commutative Ring Theory" by Cahen, Fontana, Frisch, and Glaz.
