가우스 이중투영과 가우스크뤼게 투영법에 대한 연구 (A Study on Gauss Conformal Double and Gauss-Kruger's Map Projection)

  • 우리나라는 역사적으로 Gauss 이중투영과 Gauss-Kruger투영이 혼용되어 현장실무자들에게 있어서 혼돈이 되고있다. 본 연구에서 이러한 두가지 투영법에 대한 특성과 차이 및 적응에 따른 문제점을 재조명하고자 한다. 결론적으로 이들 투영법에 의한 차이가 기준점의 허용오차를 15센티미터 이내로 할 경우에는 GIS나 지도제작에는 문제가 없으나, 기준점의 성과계산에서는 투영에 따른 차이점이 고려되어야 할 것이다.

Pattern mining for large distributed dataset: A parallel approach (PMLDD)

  • Handling vast amount of data found in large transactional datasets is an obvious challenge for the conventional data mining algorithms. Addressing this challenge, our paper proposes a parallel approach for proper decomposition of mining problem into sub-problems in order to find frequent patterns from these datasets. The proposed, Pattern Mining for Large Distributed Dataset (PMLDD) approach, ensures minimum dependencies as well as minimum communications among sub-problems. It establishes a linear aggregation of the intermediate results so that it can be adapted to large-scale programming models like MapReduce. In this context, an algorithmic structure for MapReduce programming model is presented. PMLDD guarantees an efficient load balancing among the sub-problems by a specific selection criterion. Further, it optimizes the number of required iterations over the dataset for mining frequent patterns as compared to the existing approaches. Finally, we believe that our approach is scalable enough to handle larger datasets in terms of performance evaluation, and the result analysis justifies all these mentioned concerns.

  • We construct a stationary, properly ordered Bratteli diagram B=(V,E,$\geq$) so that its Vershik map is isomorphic to Chacon's homeomorphism. It is the simplest stationary, properly ordered Bratteli diagram isomorphic to (Xc, Tc). We also find a primitive and proper substitution of Chacon's transformation.

베이지안 네트워크 기반 재난 대응 로봇의 탐색 목표 추론 시스템 (A Target Position Reasoning System for Disaster Response Robot based on Bayesian Network)

  • In this paper, we introduce a target position reasoning system based on Bayesian network that selects destinations of robots on a map to explore compound disaster environments. Compound disaster accidents have hazardous conditions because of a low visibility and a high temperature. Before firefighters enter the environment, the robots notify information in advance, such as victim's positions, number of victims, and status of debris of building. The problem of the previous system is that the system requires a target position to operate the robots and the firefighter need to learn how to use the robot. However, selecting the target position is not easy because of the information gap between eyewitness accounts and map coordinates. In addition, learning the technique how to use the robots needs a lot of time and money. The proposed system infers the target area using Bayesian network and selects proper x, y coordinates on the map based on image processing methods of the map. To verify the proposed system, we designed three example scenarios based on eyewetinees testimonies and compared time consumption between human and the system. In addition, we evaluate the system usability by 40 subjects.

AcciMap과 STAMP를 활용한 해체공사 붕괴사고 분석 (Analysis of Collapse Accidents in Demolition Work using AcciMap and STAMP)

  • Investigation of the cause of the relatively recent building collapse accident in Gwangju revealed a lack of awareness about the safety of the dismantling construction system among stakeholders, in the form of issues such as illegal subcontracting, unauthorized design changes, and insufficient safety supervision. This study was conducted to analyze the safety interactions between the building dismantling construction system and the involved stakeholders and to propose ways to prevent accidents in related institutions and workplaces. AcciMap and STAMP-CAST analysis methods were used to evaluate safety interactions among the various stakeholders participating in building demolition work. Analysis results revealed that the collapse accident during the dismantling work was caused not only by structural causes occurring in the construction stage, but also by various causes throughout the system, such as the dismantling plan preparation stage and the construction permit stage. The results also revealed the need for proper implementation of safety control measures by various stakeholders to prevent collapse accidents during dismantling construction.

Forest Fire Risk Zonation in Madi Khola Watershed, Nepal

  • Fire, being primarily a natural phenomenon, is impossible to control, although it is feasible to map the forest fire risk zone, minimizing the frequency of fires. The spread of a fire starting in any stand in a forest can be predicted, given the burning conditions. The natural cover of the land and the safety of the population may be threatened by the spread of forest fires; thus, the prevention of fire damage requires early discovery. Satellite data and geographic information system (GIS) can be used effectively to combine different forest-fire-causing factors for mapping the forest fire risk zone. This study mainly focuses on mapping forest fire risk in the Madikhola watershed. The primary causes of forest fires appear to be human negligence, uncontrolled fire in nearby forests and agricultural regions, and fire for pastoral purposes which were used to evaluate and assign risk values to the mapping process. The majority of fires, according to MODIS events, occurred from December to April, with March recording the highest occurrences. The Risk Zonation Map, which was prepared using LULC, Forest Type, Slope, Aspect, Elevation, Road Proximity, and Proximity to Water Bodies, showed that a High Fire Risk Zone comprised 29% of the Total Watershed Area, followed by a Moderate Risk Zone, covering 37% of the total area. The derived map products are helpful to local forest managers to minimize fire risks within the forests and take proper responses when fires break out. This study further recommends including the fuel factor and other fire-contributing factors to derive a higher resolution of the fire risk map.

MAP 예측기 기반의 시공간 동영상 순차주사화 알고리즘 (Spatio-Temporal Video De-interlacing Algorithm Based on MAP Estimation)

  • 본 논문은 MAP (maximum a posterior) 예측기에 기반하여 움직임 보상 예측 오차를 보정해주는 방식의 순차주사화 (de-interlacing) 알고리즘을 제안한다. 먼저, 현재 필드와 인접한 필드 간의 적절한 정합 (registration)을 수행 한 후, 계산된 정합 정보에 기반한 MAP 예측기를 통해 현재 필드에 대응하는 순차 주사 (progressive) 프레임을 찾아낸다. 안정적인 결과를 얻기 위하여 잘 알려진 BTV (bilateral total variation) 기반의 평활화 (regularization) 과정이 추가된다. 한편, 잘못된 정합 정보로 인한 소위 깃털 현상 (feathering artifact)을 억제하기 위하여 블록 단위로 깃털 현상 발생 여부를 판단하여 발생되었다고 판단된 블록 영역에 대해서는 앞서 설명한 MAP기반 순차주사화 대신 에지 방향성에 기반한 공간적 순차주사화를 적용한다. 실험 결과에 따르면, 제안된 기법은 종래 기법들에 비하여 평균 약 4dB의 PSNR 성능 개선을 보이고 있으며, 우수한 주관적 화질을 보여주고 있다.

RIGIDITY OF PROPER HOLOMORPHIC MAPS FROM Bn+1 TO B3n-1

  • Let $B^{n+1}$ be the unit ball in the complex vector space $\mathbb{C}^{n+1}$ with the standard Hermitian metric. Let ${\Sigma}^n={\partial}B^{n+1}=S^{2n+1}$ be the boundary sphere with the induced CR structure. Let f : ${\Sigma}^n{\hookrightarrow}{\Sigma}^N$ be a local CR immersion. If N < 3n - 1, the asymptotic vectors of the CR second fundamental form of f at each point form a subspace of the CR(horizontal) tangent space of ${\Sigma}^n$ of codimension at most 1. We study the higher order derivatives of this relation, and we show that a linearly full local CR immersion f : ${\Sigma}^n{\hookrightarrow}{\Sigma}^N$, N $\leq$ 3n-2, can only occur when N = n, 2n, or 2n + 1. As a consequence, it gives an extension of the classification of the rational proper holomorphic maps from $B^{n+1}$ to $B^{2n+2}$ by Hamada to the classification of the rational proper holomorphic maps from $B^{n+1}$ to $B^{3n+1}$.

바른 자세 유지를 위한 상의류 디자인 연구 -대칭의 원리를 중심으로- (T-shirt Design for Maintaining Proper Posture -Focusing on the Principle of Symmetry-)

  • This study develops a t-shirt design that align bones and balance muscles in order to maintain proper posture using the basic concepts of symmetry. First, theoretical and 3D design studies, existing literature on proper and improper posture, and the basic concepts of symmetry are studied to create the design. Next, the 3D design process applies bilateral, rotational, and scaling symmetries to design the inner lines from the basic application of symmetry. A two-stage design process is used, whereby the strain map and pressure points are analyzed using the CLO virtual clothing software, and the most effective design is determined through virtual testing. The results show that the Y+)( and X+― design, which combines the position and type of inner lines, is the most effective for posture correction and maintenance. Overall, this study helps create a theoretical and practical basis for exploring and understanding basic lines appropriate for the human body, and subsequently, for developing various products that maintain posture more accurately and precisely.
