In this paper, firstly, 'value', 'vertices', 'height' are discussed, which are used in the multiple contexts. Then 'sketch', 'mental math', 'zero point oneth place/zero point zero oneth place/zero point zereo zero oneth place', 'number of place', 'natural number part/decimal part' are discussed, which are not used consistently. Finally, middle school mathematics terms 'distance', 'number line', 'the value of the expression' are discussed which are used in elementary school mathematics textbooks/workbooks. From these discussions, the following four suggestions are proposed as conclusions. First, as a mathematical term 'value' and 'distance' should be emphasized. As 'distance' is a middle school term, there is a need to consider the 'height' as 'the length of the line segment' instead of 'distance'. Second, 'number of place' which can be replaced with other suitable term, 'the value of the expression' including 'value of $20{\times}4$', 'natural number part/decimal part', 'vertex of pyramid/vertex of cone', 'mental math' should not be used. Third, there is a need to consider the use of 'mixed decimal' and 'proper decimal'. In addition, there is a need to expand the use of 'sketch'. Fourth, there is a need to consider the confirmation of 'number line' as an elementary school mathematics term. In addition, there is a need to consider to specify that 'decimal first place', 'decimal second place', 'decimal third place' can be used equivalently with 'zero point oneth place', 'zero point zero oneth place', 'zero point zereo zero oneth place' respectively.

In this paper, we extended the division algorithm for the integers to the finite decimals. Though the remainder for the finite decimals is able to be defined as various ways, the remainder could be defined as 'the remained amount' which is the result of the division and as "the remainder" only if 'the remained amount' is decided uniquely by certain conditions. From the definition of "the remainder" for the finite decimal, it could be inferred that 'the division by equal part' and 'the division into equal parts' are proper for the division of the finite decimal concerned with the definition of "the remainder". The finite decimal, based on the unit of measure, seemed to make it possible for us to think "the remainder" both ways: 1" in the division by equal part when the quotient is the discrete amount, and 2" in the division into equal parts when the quotient is not only the discrete amount but also the continuous amount. In this division context, it could be said that the remainder for finite decimal must have the meaning of the justice and the completeness as well. The theorem of the division algorithm for the finite decimal could be accomplished, based on both the unit of measure of "the remainder", and those of the divisor and the dividend. In this paper, the meaning of the division algorithm for the finite decimal was investigated, it is concluded that this theory make it easy to find the remainder in the usual unit as well as in the unusual unit of measure.

Based upon its variety and specialties, Korean food has the potential power to become globalized, and a national public relations strategy for global competitiveness. In this process, a proper organization of information about Korean foods should be given a priority. The purposes of this study are to analyze the classification status and case studies of Korean foods in Korean libraries, to understand how much Korean foods are represented in the classification scheme and what should be improved, and to suggest a modified expansion of DDC 22. In so doing, an attempt is made to provide some evidences of the revision of DDC 22 as well as useful practices of modified DDC 22 in Korean libraries.

This study is intended to present methods improving the classification system of KDC architecture engineering fields after comparing and analyzing the academic system of architecture engineering, classification system of KDC, DDC, and LCC, and that of the research field classification system of National Research Foundation of Korea. The results of the analysis have revealed that it is required to improve and correct the KDC 5th edition of architectural engineering including the addition of classification items that reflect the trend of academic development, proper development in the rank classification terms of architectural structure engineering, addition of detailed subjects, selection of proper classification terms, errors of classification symbols and English expression, and omission of correlative indexes in the classification items. This study has proposed improved methods to solve those problems.

There is increasing importance of a system to reorganize explosive expansion of internet information resources efficiently; therefore, an increasing concern about classification system as an instrument for facilitating an access to a specific subject and improving efficiency in information retrieval. Comparing the hierarchical structure and access methodology of internet-based classification system with those of library classification such as Dewey Decimal Classification through their structural aspects and retrival process, this paper proposes the proper classification system in internet environment.

The antioxidant and antimicrobial activities of pork patties supplemented with medicinal herb extract mix were investigated. The medicinal herb extract powder was mixed at a ratio of 48.5:48.5:3.0 for Morus alba L, Lonicera flos, and Coptis chinensis, respectively. The pork was prepared and supplemented with medicinal herb extract mix (0, 0.5, 1, or 2%) and the antioxidant and antimicrobial activities were tested during storage at $4^{\circ}C$. The pH value decreased during cold storage at $4^{\circ}C$ for allsamples, however the pH of samples supplemented with herb extract mix rapidly decreased by days 5 and 10 ($p{\leq}0.05$). The total phenol content in the pork patties with herb extract mix was higher than in the control patties. The ABTS+ radical scavenging activities increased with increasing concentrations of herb extract mix from 0.5% to 2%. In addition, pork patties supplemented with herb extract mix showed an approximately 1 decimal reduction in total aerobic counts. Therefore, the addition of herb extract mix into pork patties increased the antioxidant activity and slightly improved the antimicrobial activity of pork patties during cold storage. However, the levels of added medicinal herb extract mix should be considered prior to its use in order to maintain proper sensory acceptance.
