Purpose - Focusing on the FGI research method, the current status and issues of barrier-free tourism in Gangwon State were identified, and specific activation plans were derived Design/methodology/approach - This study conducted in-depth interviews with 20 experts related to the tourism industry. The issues, current status, and activation plan of barrier-free tourism in Gangwon State recognized by experts in tourism policy, tourism administration, tourism management, and tourism service industry were derived. Findings - First, the tendency of businesses to be promoted based on the non-disabled by not recognizing the weak as the main tourism demand group, second, confusion caused by the unification of terms related to barrier-free tourism, third, lack of finding tourism constraints subdivided according to the type and degree of disability, fourth, tourism information and evaluation indicators provided by prioritizing the convenience of suppliers rather than consumers, and fifth, the nature of the project focused on improving access to physical infrastructure. Subsequently, the results of the analysis of the plan to revitalize the barrier-free tourism industry in Gangwon State were as follows. First, education and programs to improve disability awareness appropriate to local conditions were activated, second, related information was unified and project sustainability was improved by creating a control tower for the barrier-free tourism industry at the provincial level, third, to overcome the employment crisis based on finding locally tailored jobs related to tourism care professionals, and fourth, to continuously secure quantitative and qualitative data and establish utilization plans. Research implications or Originality - First, it presents theoretical implications for related fields by providing issues and activation measures related to barrier-free tourism from the perspective of experts who are still lacking in research in academia. The practical implications are that based on the opinions of experts working in the tourism field, more specific issues of the barrier-free tourism industry in the province were presented, and policy and practical solutions were presented accordingly, suggesting realistic alternatives that can be carried out in the actual field.

The purpose of the study was to find out the novice mothers' perceptions, experiences, and need on healthy pregnancy. For the research purpose, we conducted the focus group interview with 10 novice mothers who were pregnant of their first child or raising first child under 12 months old. The results of the study were as follows. First, novice mothers recognized 'healthy pregnancies' as 'physically healthy pregnancies for mothers and fetuses,' 'pregnancies where mothers were mentally healthy and happy,' and 'pregnancy planned and prepared with husband together.' Second, novice mothers experienced 'examination of obstetrics and gynecology,' 'management of health and daily life,' and 'preparation of realistic conditions' to prepare for pregnancy and childbirth. Third, difficulties during pregnancy were due to 'sickness and physical changes' and 'psychological and emotional changes.' Fourth, the needs on support for healthy pregnancy were 'pre-education on mental and physical changes caused by pregnancy' and 'support for pregnancy and counseling in advance.'

Due to global issues such as climate crisis and rising energy costs, there is an increasing focus on energy conservation and management. In the case of South Korea, approximately 53.5% of the total energy consumption comes from industrial complexes. In order to address this, we aimed to improve issues through the 'Shared Network Utility Plant' among companies using similar energy utilities to find energy-saving points. For effective energy conservation, various techniques are utilized, and stable data supply is crucial for the reliable operation of factories. Many anomaly detection and alert systems for checking the stability of data supply were dependent on Energy Management Systems (EMS), which had limitations. The construction of an EMS involves large-scale systems, making it difficult to implement in small factories with spatial and energy constraints. In this paper, we aim to overcome these challenges by constructing a data collection system and anomaly detection alert system on embedded devices that consume minimal space and power. We explore the possibilities of utilizing anomaly detection alert systems in typical institutions for data collection and study the construction process.

In this study, I investigated cases of operating Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) sustainable design courses based on interdisciplinary education for diverse design major students in the fashion design department. Through literature review, we examined the necessity of this course operation and analyzed the course through class design, execution, and operational results. Sustainable design courses were organized for 2nd to 4th-year students, promoting integrated learning for fashion design and various design majors to enhance interdisciplinary skills based on the in-depth study of SDGs issues. The educational content in the classes focused on the sustainable development goals achieved through upcycling design of waste PET bottle fibers developed by local industries, aiming to pursue sustainable values of designers through problem discovery and resolution. Students developed various upcycled products, evaluated metrics, and assessed satisfaction levels. Through this process, students gained an understanding of the practical value of SDGs, recognized the importance of sustainable development through design approaches for solving local issues, and acknowledged the significance of interdisciplinary education with various design majors.

This study conducted an analysis of the changes in social work fields, focusing on the 'generational differences' after the COVID-19. As a result of the study, various opinions were presented in two areas: experience and perception of social workers and requirements of social workers. Social workers in their 20s had many requests for improvement of the current working environment and the Local Government and the Association, and those in their 4~50s had many comments about the working environment. Based on these research results, this study proposed the following practical and policy improvement measures. First, it is necessary to improve the low level of salary, work conditions and environment. Second, a safe work environment is required. Third, it is necessary to pay attention to the changed perceptions of social workers and make efforts to match them.

Recently, there has been growing interest in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, with a particular focus on the advancement of augmented reality (AR) devices. However, there is a shortage of AR content. Augmented reality operates through marker-based and markerless methods. The marker-based approach involves using a camera to capture images that serve as markers, enhancing them through AR principles. To address the scarcity of AR content and improve the quality of character goods, this study proposes integrating AR technology into character goods. The character industry is expanding each year, leading to a diverse range of character goods. Character acrylic stands, among these goods, leverage game, webtoon, and animation character IPs for sales. To enhance the design process, we utilized the character image as a marker, allowing for the creation of content that aligns with the characteristics of the character IP. We selected a webtoon character and developed AR content, incorporating features such as voice, speech bubbles, and an introduction to the webtoon, tailored to the webtoon's characteristics. This study demonstrates the potential of AR to present visual and auditory information, paving the way for a variety of products, including diverse content. We anticipate that utilizing this research will lead to the emergence of products encompassing various contents.

This study aims to propose operational directions for establishing Support Centers for Childcare (SCC) as central institutions in local communities by examining the performance status of community-linked projects of SCC. To achieve this, an analysis of performance related to community-linked projects was conducted focusing on SCC activity reports from 2018 to 2022, encompassing the past five years. Upon examination of the analysis results, several findings emerged. Firstly, there was a substantial number of achievements with non-profit organizations and public institutions as the types of institutions involved in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), with a predominant focus on educational and informational support within the MOU contents. Secondly, collaboration among institutions within the local community primarily centered around education and administrative support, with a significant portion of support activities being conducted through meetings. Thirdly, individual volunteer contributions were prevalent in events and administrative support, while volunteer efforts were notable in areas such as cleaning toys. Based on these findings, recommendations for community-linked projects of SCC were derived.

This paper studies the Soundscape, a movement that seeks to break away from the traditional conventions of music culture. To this end, I will examine how social, cultural, and technological developments have influenced the paradigm shift in music culture by paying attention to the Soundscape. I understand the characteristics of the Soundscape as a change pattern and discuss the characteristics of hearing and listening experience that have been overlooked so far from a phenomenological perspective. For the above discussion, Murray Schafer's concept of Soundscape, and for a phenomenological understanding of hearing and listening experience, une spatialité de situation, point d'écoute, horizons au son, champ auditif, le premier plan et l'arrière-plan, temporal focus, space-time, and l'être-au-monde are discussed. I hope that understanding the characteristics of sound, hearing, and listening experience will contribute to presenting new ideas for creative expression in artistic creation.

This study seeks to develop efficient strategies for the implementation of lifelong education programs designed for individuals with disabilities in Gongju City. The primary focus is on creating a community-based lifelong learning environment. A comprehensive survey was conducted targeting 61 guardians with experience in lifelong education for individuals with disabilities in Gongju City. The findings of the study suggest a holistic strategy for the establishment of lifelong education programs for individuals with disabilities. This plan emphasizes the significance of tailored lifelong education programs that cater to the varying levels of disability, characteristics, and needs present within this demographic. Furthermore, it argues for the development of a functional system that considers the needs of both individuals with disabilities and their caregivers throughout the design and implementation stages of lifelong education initiatives.

The study seeks to examine the alignment between the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) and the Six Principles of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) through qualitative analysis. The study utilizes a qualitative methodology that entails a comprehensive review of the existing literature to establish connections between MOHO and Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) principles, with a specific focus on collaborative special education environments. Data collection involves examining academic literature on MOHO, Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) principles, and the partnership between occupational therapists and special education teachers. Thematic analysis is employed to identify recurrent themes and relationships, offering valuable insights into the theoretical foundations of MOHO and its compatibility with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)The Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) highlights the significance of active engagement and meaningful participation in inclusive education. It promotes the development of independence and self-determination in occupational performance for children with special needs. Moreover, MOHO stresses the importance of offering tailored support and adjustments for these children.
