간호대학생의 건강증진행위와 그 결정요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on Determinants of Health Promoting Behavior in Nursing Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to explain the relationship between health promoting behavior and self-esteem, and the relationship between health promoting behavior and self-efficacy. The instrument of this study was a structured questionnaire included health promoting lifestyle, self-esteem and self-efficacy. The data were collected from August 24 to September 3, 1999 and analyzed by Cronbach alpha, descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, Pearson's correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression by using SPSS/PC+ program. The results of research were as follows : 1. The average score of performance in the health promoting behavior variables was 2.61. The variable with the highest degree of performance was the sanitary life(3.14), whereas the one with the lowest degree was the professional health maintenance(1.50). The average score of self-esteem was 2.89, and self-efficacy was 6.60. 2. There was significant difference according to the demographic variables. The total health promoting behavior was predicted by age, religion, monthly income. personality, perceived health status and frequency of exercise. Self-esteem was predicted by religion, monthly income and personality. Self-efficacy was predicted by age, religion and personality. 3. There was a significant correlation between health promoting behavior and self-esteem, self-efficacy. 4. Self-efficacy was the highest factor (variable) predicting health promoting behavior. A total of 44.7% of the variance was explained in the total health promoting behavior by the self-efficacy, frequency of exercise, self-esteem, perceived health status and personality. In conclusion, this study revealed that self-efficacy, self-esteem may be important factors that can improve health promoting behavior. Therefore the findings of this study may provide significant basic data for health promoting program development.

  • Purpose: This study aimed to examine the influence of self-efficacy, emotional intelligence, and nurse-parent partnership on the nursing competency of pediatric nurses. Methods: This study recruited 114 pediatric nurses working in one tertiary general hospital and two general hospitals in the city. Data were collected using self-reported questionnaires from August 26 to September 16, 2019, and were analyzed using the statistical package IBM SPSS 22.0. Results: Statistically significant correlations were found between self-efficacy, emotional intelligence, nurse-parent partnership, and nursing competency. The nursing competency of these nurses was affected by significant predictors such as emotional intelligence, nurse-parent partnership, work duration in pediatrics, and self-efficacy. These variables explained 60.6% of nursing competency of pediatric nurses. Conclusion: To improve the nursing competency of pediatric nurses, we should develop an intervention that can enhance the nurses' emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, and nurse-parent partnership. Furthermore, greater consideration of nursing careers is needed.

중학교 수학교사의 테크놀로지 통합 자기효능감에 관한 연구 (On secondary mathematics teachers' technology integration self-efficacy)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the secondary mathematics teachers' technology integration self-efficacy with respect to geometry classes which they had experienced during last 1 year, 2015. For this study, we developed and validated the questionnaires based on TPACK framework in secondary geometry context. The questionnaires contained 28 items examining the secondary mathematics teachers' TPACK. We conducted the item analysis with 28 items and then the exploring factor analysis. As a result, 28 items was categorized into 5 constructs, TPCK, TCK, TK, PCK, PK, different from Mishra and Koehler's categorization. We analyzed the secondary mathematics teachers' technology integration self-efficacy with respect to geometry classes based on 5 TPACK constructs. The results indicated that there were no significant differences in technology integration self-efficacy according to gender. But technology integration self-efficacy according to the years of teaching experience differed significantly. The more years of teaching experiences teachers have, the lower level of TPCK and TK they have and the more years of teaching experiences teachers have, the higher level of PCK they have. The results also showed that there ware significant difference in TPCK according to the existence and non-existence of taking the technology courses during the time at university. Furthermore, we provide the implication for the professional preparation program for the mathematics teachers in middle schools.

아동간호사 직무스트레스에 영향을 미치는 요인: 자기효능, 감정노동, 아동간호사-환아부모 파트너십을 중심으로 (Factors Affecting Job Stress of Pediatric Nurses: Focusing on Self-Efficacy, Emotional Labor, Pediatric Nurse-Parent Partnership)

  • Purpose: In this study self-efficacy, emotional labor, pediatric nurse-parent partnership and job stress of pediatric nurses were examined. Factors affecting job stress of pediatric nurses were also investigated. Methods: The study was done between June and September 2014, with a convenience sample of 145 nurses from 3 advanced general hospitals, 5 general hospitals and 2 children's hospitals. Research data were collected via questionnaires and analysed using SPSS version 18.0. Results: Average levels of self-efficacy, emotional labor and job stress were similar to other general nurses and the average level of pediatric nurse-parent partnership was also similar to other pediatric nurses. Job stress of pediatric nurses showed a positive correlation with emotional labor and negative correlations with self-efficacy and pediatric nurse-parent partnership. The most significant factor affecting job stress in pediatric nurses was emotional labor (${\beta}=0.372$, p<.001). The combination of emotional labor, pediatric nurse-parent partnership and self-efficacy accounted for 25.4% of job stress in pediatric nurses. Conclusion: These results suggest that nursing management strategies to decrease emotional labor and improve pediatric nurse-parent partnerships and self-efficacy are critical to decrease job stress for pediatric nurses. Continued development of nursing management interventions to decrease job stress in pediatric nurses is suggested.

The Effect of Motivation in Obtaining a Certificate on Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy-With a Focus on Landscape Technicians-

  • This study promotes the understanding of landscape technicians by, assessing the professional qualification system that aligns with the needs of the 21st-century environment, distinct from the industrialization era, It, provides basic theoretical insights into the multi-dimensional connections between the motivation for a certificate and the career decision-making self-efficacy of individuals with a demand for the certificate in the structural aspect. The collected data underwent a comprehensive analysis involving frequency assessments, confirmatory factor analysis, descriptive statistics, reliability tests, and correlation analyses. The study found differences according to particpants' diverse sociodemographic characteristics including gender, place of residence, educational background, and occupation. The motivation for obtaining a certificate had significant positive effects on their career-decision-making self-efficacy, within the context of structural relations. The study findings on the relations between motivation for obtaining a certificate and career decision-making self-efficacy demonstrate that the direction and intensity of efforts to obtain a certificate can increase the career decision-making self-efficacy of people hoping to become landscape technicians.

치과위생사와 치위생과 학생의 자기효능감과 방사선안전관리 지식 및 태도에 대한 비교 (Comparing with self-efficacy and knowledge, attitudes about radiation safety management of dental hygienists and students at department of dental hygiene)

  • Objectives : It is important to catch individual characteristics by measuring the level of self-efficacy, radiation safety knowledge, attitudes to increase behavior levels in the radiation safety management(RSM) and we consider this should be applied to the professional program development to improve RSM activities of dental hygienist and students at department of dental hygiene. Methods : This study mentioned mainly self-efficacy, radiation safety knowledge, attitudes for dental hygienists and the second & third year students at department of dental hygiene in Pusan area to provide the correct information associated with the use of radiation and to be aid in the development program to increase behavior levels in the RSM in dental care institutions and schools in the future and performed a survey 8 May to 7 Juiy, 2011. The survey results were as follows Results : 1. The results of self-efficacy is $3.53{\pm}0.42$ points for the dental hygienist and $3.32{\pm}0.40$ points for students(p<0.001). 2. According to the knowledge level of RSM, the result is $11.7{\pm}3.12$ points for the dental hygienist and $9.56{\pm}2.72$ points for students(p<0.001). 3. According to the knowledge level of RSM, the result is $4.40{\pm}0.49$ points for the dental hygienist and $4.22{\pm}0.56$ points for students(p<0.001). 4. According to relationship among self-efficacy, radiation safety knowledge and attitudes, the higher the score for knowledge of RSM was, the higher the score for self-efficacy was. The higher the score for attitudes was, the higher the score for self-efficacy and knowledge was(p<0.01). 5. The factors to affect attitudes about RSM were self-efficacy, knowledge(p<0.01).

학업을 병행하는 임상치과위생사의 직무만족도 영향 요인 (Factors influencing job satisfaction of clinical dental hygienists in schoolwork)

  • Objectives: This study was conducted to understand the influencing factors of job satisfaction of clinical dental hygienists in schoolwork, and use the basic data to enhance their job satisfaction. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 210 dental clinic hygienists from June 10 to August 30 of 2018. Data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0. Independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe's post-hoc test, and Pearson correlation coefficient were reviewed, and a multiple regression analysis was conducted. Results: The scores of subjects' professional self-concept, self-esteem, job stress, and job satisfaction were 3.37, 3.80, 2.79, and 3.37, respectively. The influencing factors of job satisfaction of clinical dental hygienists in schoolwork included marital status, support in workplace, professional self-concept, and job stress, with 41.6% of the explanatory power. Conclusions: The stronger the professional self-concept, the lower the job-stress and higher the job satisfaction. The job satisfaction was also higher in the group in which the subjects were married and getting support in the workplace compared to the other group with no support in the workplace. Therefore, support systems and institutional support are required for clinical dental hygienists to be continuously educated in the workplace.

간호전문직 자율성(Professional Nurse Autonomy)의 개념분석 (Concept Analysis of Professional Nurse Autonomy)

  • Professional nurse Autonomy is an essential attribute of a discipline striving for full professional status. Purpose: This study was to clarify the concept of professional nurse autonomy to provide basic data needed for development of professional autonomy enhancing strategies. Method: This study use the process of Walker & Avante's concept analysis based on Wade's research (1999), and field data of 21 nurses. Results: Professional nurse autonomy is defined as competency and creative performance of the professional nurse in practice, to decide independently or interdependently nursing activities and to be had accountable for results of decisions, that reflect advocacy and caring. It was identified that critical attributes include responsible discretionary decision making, collegial interdependence, initiative, creativity, and caring, advocacy, cooperative relationship with clients, receptive capacity to others, activeness, self confidence, and devotion and responsibility to their profession. Antecedents include personal characteristics, educational background, experience and structural characteristics that enhance professional nurse autonomy. Consequences of professional nurse autonomy are feelings of self-efficacy, empowerment, job satisfaction, reduction of intention to leave their job. Conclusion: According to these results, it is recommended that the curriculum provides an environment for learning professional nurse autonomy, and that is used as basic data to develope strategies to enhance professional autonomy of nurse in practice and it's effects

예비유아교사의 교육실습불안에 대한 자기효능감과 교사이미지의 영향 (The Effect of Self-Efficacy and Teacher's Image on Student Teachers' Practicum Anxiety)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate early childhood student teachers' practicum anxiety on the basis of the teacher's image and self-efficacy during their practicum. The participants of this study were 499 student teachers who were enrolled in the department of early childhood education in a college or a university and had completed the practicum in Daejeon metropolitan city or the Chungcheong area. The instruments for this study were the Teacher's Image Scale, Practicum Anxiety Scale, Self-efficacy Scale, and a questionnaire for socio-demographic variables. The collected data were analyzed by using a t -test, F test, Pearson's partial correlation, and multiple regression with SPSS software (version 20.0). The results were as follows: First, the student teachers expressed higher practicum anxiety in a provincial area than in metropolitan city, and their self-efficacy was higher in public kindergarten than in private kindergarten. Further, the highest level of the teacher's image was obtained in the case of student teachers who enrolled in a 2- or 3-year college program and completed the practicum in the metropolitan city. Second, there was a significant negative correlation between the sum of student teachers' practicum anxiety and their professional skills of teacher's image as well as significant correlations between the sum of student teachers' practicum anxiety and their self-efficacy, except self-control efficacy. Finally, the student teachers' practicum anxiety was found to be 17.5%-24.4% and was explained the most by the confidence of self-efficacy.

간호 대학생의 셀프리더십, 자기효능감, 대인관계, 대학생활 만족 (Nursing Students' Self-Leadership, Self-Efficacy, Interpersonal Relation, College Life Satisfaction)

  • 본 연구는 간호 대학생들의 전공에 대한 전문적 지식 습득 외에도 임상실습이라는 상황으로 인해 사회적 노출을 일찍 경험하게 되어 대학생활 적응에 큰 장벽으로 작용하고 있는 것으로 나타나 간호 대학생들의 대학생활만족을 향상시키는 일환으로 이에 영향을 주는 셀프리더십, 자기효능감, 대인관계간의 관계를 규명하여 대학생활 만족에 미치는 영향을 파악하고 이들 간의 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 경로분석을 적용하여 분석하였다. 4개 간호대학의 임상실습 경험이 있는 375명의 학생을 대상으로 2014년 3월 2일에서 3월 31일까지 설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구결과에서 간호대학생의 셀프리더십, 자기효능감, 대인관계 및 대학생활 만족 간에는 모두 유의한 양적 상관관계가 있었으며 이들 변수는 대학생활 만족에 대한 경로를 26.8% 설명하는 것으로 나타났고 셀프리더십과 대인관계가 대학생활만족에 유의한 직접효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 대학생활 만족에 유의한 차이를 보이는 일반적 특성을 고려하고 셀프리더십, 자기 효능감, 대인관계를 증진시키기 위한 교육 프로그램의 개발과 교과과정의 실시가 요구된다.
