약사의 전문성강화를 위한 국가별 평생교육제도 비교연구 (A Comparative Study on the Continuing Professional Development for the Pharmacists in Korea)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the comparative study results for the purpose of the developing continuing professional educational systems for Korean pharmacists. The professional continuing educational systems of the UK, USA, Japan and Korea were analyzed. General Pharmaceutical Council in UK controls the pharmacy professions for the protection of the health of the citizens in UK and certifies the schools of pharmacy and the continuing education providers. The USA and Japan have the several accreditation bodies for the pharmacy education and the continuing pharmaceutical education. However, the quality assurance systems in Korea for the continuing education and specialty programs are not implemented, yet. The renewal system of the pharmacist license should be introduced like the health care providers like doctors to improve professionalism. Finally, it is recommended that all of these things should be done by a single administrative authority such as Korean Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education.

미국 수학교사 전문성 신장 프로그램에 관한 소고 (Reflections on U.S. Professional Development in Mathematics Education)

  • 본 연구에서는 수학교육분야에서 전문성 신장 프로그램 연구 및 수행에 대한 고찰을 통해 드러나는 다섯 가지 중요한 범주들이 기술되었다: (1) 효율적인 지원 공동체 수립, (2) 교사 지식에의 주목, (3) 학생의 학습에 대한 지식을 기반으로 한 교사지식의 구성, (4) 인식기반 및 개념기반 관점, (5) 장기간에 걸친 현장에서의 교사교육. 결론에서는 바람직한 교사교육 프로그램이 포함해야 할 요소들과 앞으로 이 분야에서 이루어져야할 연구방향 등이 제시된다.

치과기공사의 직업윤리와 교육에 대한 인식 (A Study on perceptions of vocational ethics and education among dental technicians)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study is to explore professional ethics and awareness of education among dental technicians. Methods: A total of 250 questionnaires were produced and distributed to dental technicians from June 1 to October 30, 2019. Of these questionnaires, 106 were used in the final analysis. Results: More than half of respondents said that the state-run dental company has very strong ethical values. Higher levels of confidence in the professional mission of dental work were correlated with stronger ethical values. Moreover, those who had greater experience of training in the code of ethics for dental technicians exhibited a firmer sense of their professional mission. Conclusion: In the education process for dental technicians, attention should be given to establishing and practicing professional ethics. Guidelines and programs should be revised accordingly to build awareness of ethical practices in the workplace.

  • The article theoretically analyzed and specified definitions such as: "professional development of personality, competence, professional competence of a teacher". Structural components of professional competence are defined, namely: theoretical involves deep knowledge in the field of special pedagogy, special psychology; technological involves the use of acquired knowledge in practical activities and personal in which important personal characteristics of a special teacher are noted. Criteria and levels of development of professional competence of future special teachers are determined. The article analyzes the peculiarities of the professional activity of a teacher in the conditions of an inclusive educational space, in particular, the special training of a teacher as an integral component of this process. Emphasis is placed on the cooperation of teachers in an inclusive educational institution for the socialization of a child with special needs and her preparation for independent life.

대학교육에서 강화된 장기현장실습 운영방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Managing Industrial Professional Practice(IPP) at University Education)

  • 본 연구는 급변하는 산업요구변화에 탄력적으로 대응할 수 있는 대학교육 혁신방안으로 '기업연계형 장기현장 실습제도'를 제안하였다. 전문계 고등학교, 전문대학에서 그동안 실시하였던 현장실습의 문제점을 해결하고, 현장실습의 효과성을 제고하고자 체계적 현장훈련 모형에 기초하여 그 절차를 총괄계획수립-참여기업/학생 모집-참여기업과 학생 매칭-직무분석-프로그램 설계 및 개발-프로그램 운영-결과평가 및 피드백으로 세분화하였다. 또한 기업연계형 장기현장실습 프로그램을 운영방식을 2학기제(8학기)와 3학기제(11학기) 체제로 구분하여 제시하였다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 기업연계형 장기현장실습이 보다 효과적으로 운영되기 위해서 추가적으로 검토되어야 할 사항을 제시하였다.

What Determines Interest in Becoming a Student of Professional Accounting?

  • This study aims to identify the determinants of student interest in pursuing Accounting Professional Education (Indonesia: PPAk) in Province of Bali. The determinants which the author has used are: independent variables are social motivation, career motivation, quality motivation, and duration of education. The sample in this study comprises of 75 respondents who are students of Accounting discipline at the Faculty of Economics and Business at universities in the Province of Bali. Data was collected using a questionnaire and have been processed using multiple regression analysis. The results show that social motivation, career motivation, and quality motivation have a positive effect on students' interest in studying Accounting Professional Education. On the other hand, the duration of the accounting course has a negative effect on students' interest in studying this program. The importance of role of a professional accountant in realizing transparency in public life, and an economy that is free from financial deceit and fraud makes the role of professional accounting institutions very important. However, graduates' who desire to continue their studies in the PPAk program tends to be low. The findings of this research are expected to become the basis for policy makers in formulating rules related to the development of the accounting profession in the society, especially in Indonesia.

사서직 계속교육 동향 분석 - 온라인교육과 역량기반 교육을 중심으로 - (Trends in the Online Continuing Professional Development for Librarians and Applications of Professional Competencies)

  • 본 연구에서는 온라인교육과 역량기반 교육을 중심으로 사서직 계속교육의 국내외 동향을 분석하였다. 현재 국내 사서 계속교육 프로그램의 70% 이상이 온라인교육방식으로 수행되고 있었고, 주로 온라인 코스웨어 형태의 표준화된 콘텐츠가 동영상으로 제작되어 반복 활용되고 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 반면, 미국과 호주에서는 주로 웨비나 등 쌍방향 커뮤니케이션이 가능한 이러닝 방식을 사용하여 도서관 안팎의 최신 이슈를 다양한 교육강좌로 구성한 비표준화된 콘텐츠가 활용되고 있었다. 또한 최근 주목할 동향으로 미국, 영국, 호주 등 해외에서 전문직 역량기준에 기반하여 계속교육을 제공하려는 시도들이 파악되었다. 따라서 국내에서도 기 개발된 사서직 역량기준들을 계속교육에 접목시킴으로써 체계적인 교육프로그램을 운영할 것이 요청된다. 본 연구에서 분석한 해외 모범사례들은 향후 국내 온라인 계속교육 프로그램을 현장의 계속교육 수요와 요구에 부응하며 현장사서들의 역량을 강화시키는 방향으로 개선하는데 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • There are three major international agreements governing mutual recognition of engineering qualifications and professional competence of the International PEs; namely, Washington Accords, APEC engineer agreement and EMF agreement. International Organizations of APEC Engineer Coordinating Committer and Engineers Mobility Forum established international registries with the goal of improving international mobility. APEC and EMF membership requires minimum qualifications for licensure with the minimum standards including engineering education, Professional experience, compliance with home jurisdiction requirements, having verified record of responsible charge, and demonstrating a commitment to continuing education.

  • The president of NSPE(2009-2010), Mr. Grossman had attended the The 3rd National Conference for Professional Engineers of Korea in accordance with the mutual agreement between KPEA and NSPE. He then, had a chance to present to our professional engineers about the licensure of professional engineers and engineering education of USA. The main contents of his presentation were introduction of the current situation of professional engineer system and needs to apply this licensure to the industry and education field, needs to strengthen the engineering education and needs to collaborate with Government in oder to open employment visa for foreign engineers. In the meantime, we should make use of this chance of engineer shortage in USA and let more Korean engineers work successfully in USA.
