문제 해결 전략과 해결자.청취자 활동이 고등학생의 화학 문제 해결에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Problem Solving Strategy and Paired Think-Aloud Problem Solving on High School Students' Chemistry Problem Solving)

  • 분자 수준의 그림과 4단계 문제 해결 전략을 제시한 후 해결자 청취자 활동을 통해 문제 해결 과정을 점검하도록 한 교수 방법의 효과를 조사하였다. 고등학교 4학급(191명)을 선정하여 개별적으로 전략을 사용하는 집단(St; Strategy), 해결자 청취자 활동을 하는 집단(SL; Solver' Listener), 전략을 사용하며 해결자 청취자 활동을 하는 집단 (St-SL; Strategy-Solver' Listener), 그리고 통제 집단으로 무선 배치하였다. 전략 수행 능력 검사에서 St-SL 집단의 점수가 통제 집단에 비하여 유의미하게 높았으나, 객관식 문제 해결력 검사에서는 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 전략 수행 능력 검사의 하위 범주들에서는 문제의 조건을 파악하거나 올바른 물리량을 유도해내는 능력은 향상된 데에 비하여, 하위 목표를 설정하거나 해결 과정을 검토하는 능력은 매우 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 전략에 대한 선호도는 St 집단보다 St-SL 집단에서 보다 긍정적인 것으로 조사되었다.

The Effect of Design Thinking Based Artificial Intelligence Education Programs on Middle School Students' Creative Problem Solving Ability

  • 본 논문에서는 중학생으로 대상으로 디자인 씽킹 기반 인공지능 교육 프로그램을 개발하고 이를 적용하여 창의적 문제해결력에 미치는 영향을 검증하였다. 검사도구는 이화선, 표정민, 최인수(2014)의 CPS 이론을 토대로 창의적 사고유형 능력을 측정하기 위한 검사도구인 창의적 문제해결 프로파일 검사(CPSPI: Creative Problem Solving Profile Inventory)를 사용하였다. CPSPI는 기존 검사들의 한계를 보완하여 인지적 선호도와 인지적 능력을 평가하고, 자신의 아이디어를 타인과 공유하고 설득하는 단계를 포함하였다. 디자인 씽킹 기반 인공지능 교육 프로그램 적용 전 후, 창의적 문제해결력을 분석한 결과, 모든 영역에서 유의미하게 상승하였다. 중학생의 창의적 문제해결력을 분석한 결과 문제발견 및 분석, 아이디어 생성, 실행계획, 실행, 설득 및 소통 영역에서 유의미한 결과가 나타났다. 인공지능교육에서 창의적 문제해결력을 향상시키기 위한 교수학습 방법으로 디자인 씽킹의 효과를 확인하였다.

문제발견 중심의 과학토론수업이 초등학생들의 과학 창의적 문제해결력과 과학탐구능력에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Scientific Discussion Classes Focusing Problem Finding on the Primary School Students' Scientific Creative Problem Solving Ability and Science Process Skills)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of scientific discussion classes focusing problem finding on the primary school students' scientific creative problem solving ability, science process skills and attitude toward science class. To verify this research problem, the subject of this study was fifth-grade students selected from four classes of M elementary school located in Busan city. For four months, the experimental group of 51 students was taught using the "scientific discussion classes focusing problem finding". The control group also of 53 students was taught in normal classes which used a text-book. All students were given pre and post test to verify the effects of scientific discussion classes focusing problem finding on the primary school students' scientific creative problem solving ability, science process skills and attitude toward science class. The results from this study are as the following. First, the scientific discussion classes focusing problem finding were effective in scientific creative problem solving ability among the primary school students. It is possibly because in the process where one student compare his/her own thoughts with the others' ones and discuss them. Second, the scientific discussion classes focusing problem finding were effective in science process skills among the primary school students. Third, the scientific discussion classes focusing problem finding were effective in attitude toward science class. In conclusion, the scientific discussion classes focusing problem finding had positive effects on improvement of primary school students' scientific creative problem solving ability, science process skills and also could lead to a change in students' cognition about science class to a positive way. Therefore, the scientific discussion class focusing problem finding is hopefully to be provided as an effective instructive strategy of science class in school in the future.

FOCUS 문제해결과정이 수학 문제해결력 및 수학적 태도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of the FOCUS Problem Solving Steps on Mathematical Problem Solving Ability and Mathematical Attitudes)

  • 본 연구에서는 FOCUS 문제해결과정을 적용한 교수.학습 방법이 학생들의 수학 문제해결력과 수학적 태도에 미치는 효과를 분석함으로써 앞으로의 수학학습을 개선하고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 4학년 1학기 수학의 2개 단원에 걸쳐 총 13차시에 대하여 FOCUS 문제해결과정을 적용하였고, 수학 문제해결력 검사와 수학적 태도 검사를 사전과 사후 모두 사용한 후 t-검정을 실시한 결과를 토대로 학생들의 변화를 분석하였다. 연구를 통하여 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, FOCUS 문제해결과정에 따른 학습활동이 학생들의 수학 문제해결력 향상에 긍정적인 효과를 보였다. 둘째, 수학적 태도 가운데 수학적 호기심, 수학적 반성, 수학적 가치의 3가지 요인에 있어서는 통계적으로도 유의미한 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 실험집단의 학생들의 변화를 분석한 결과에서는 수학적 태도에 속하는 6가지 요인 모두에 대하여 긍정적인 태도 형성에 영향을 주었다고 볼 수 있다. 셋째, FOCUS 단계에 따라 문제를 풀어봄으로써 학생 스스로 성공했을 때의 만족감을 느꼈으며 검토와 반성을 통하여 자신의 오류를 직접 찾고 해결해나갈 때의 기쁨으로 인하여 FOCUS 문제해결과정을 적용한 활동이 보다 지속적으로 이루어진다면 학생들의 문제해결력에 있어서도 크게 의미 있는 효과를 기대할 수 있을 것이다.

간호학생의 임상수행능력 영향요인 (Factors Influencing Clinical Competence in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate factors influencing clinical competence in nursing students. Method: The participants were 125 nursing students and data were collected from October 8 to December 18, 2010 using questionnaires with. Collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression. Results: There were significant correlations for creativity, problem-solving ability, self-directed learning ability, and clinical competence. The factor influencing clinical competence the most was creativity, followed by problem-solving ability, self-directed learning ability, and grade point average score. The regression model explained 37% of variance in clinical competence. Conclusion: The results indicate that for improvement in the clinical competence of nursing students, it is necessary to develop strategies and education programs to enhance creativity, problem-solving ability, and self-directed learning ability.

유아 대상 프로젝트 접근법 기반 공학적 STEAM 프로그램이 유아의 과학적 탐구능력, 수학적 문제해결력, 창의성에 미치는 효과 (Effects of an Engineering-Focused STEAM Program Based on the Project Approach for Young Children on Their Scientific Inquiry Ability, Mathematical Problem-Solving Ability, and Creativity)

  • Objective: This research aims to examine the effect of a young children's engineering-focused STEAM program based on the project approach - a program that constructs components aligned with children's interests in their play through an engineering design process - on their scientific inquiry ability, mathematical problem-solving ability, and creativity. Methods: In this research, 42 five-year-old children from a public kindergarten in S district, I city, were randomly divided into experimental and comparative groups, each with 21 children. The engineering-focused STEAM program was conducted from April 18 to June 10, 2022, with the experimental group exploring the 'car' theme and the comparison group focusing on a different theme. The study employed an independent sample t-test and analysis of covariance(ANCOVA), using the pretest as a covariate to control variables. Results: The children-selected 'cars' themed engineering-focused STEAM program was effective in enhancing their scientific inquiry ability, mathematical problem-solving ability and creativity. Conclusion/Implications: The engineering-focused STEAM program, which emerges from young children's interesting daily play, had positive effects on enhancing their scientific inquiry ability, mathematical problem-solving ability, and creativity. This research can serve as fundamental data for developing education programs focused on engineering within the STEAM framework, guided by children's emergent play.

부모의 언어통제유형에 따른 유아의 조망수용능력과 대인문제해결력 (Children's Perspective-taking and Interpersonal Problem-solving Abilities according to Parents' Verbal Control Styles)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine how the difference of parents' verbal control styles influence children's perspective-taking and interpersonal cognitive problem-solving skills. The subjects of this study were 117 five-year-old children with their parents included. The questionnaire used was relevant to the topic, such as parents' verbal control styles, young children's perspective-taking ability, and their interpersonal cognitive problem-solving skills. The percent, mean, standard deviation, three-way ANOVA, and Scheffe were used to analyze the data collected through SPSS WIN program. The major findings are as follows: First, a father's verbal control style makes a significant difference in young child's perspective-taking ability. However, there is no interaction effect between parents' verbal control styles and a child's sex. Second, a father's verbal control style makes a significant difference in young child's interpersonal cognitive problem-solving skills. Character-oriented verbal control mode of a father, in particular, produces more effects on boys than girls. Lastly, Two skills - alternative problem-solving skills and cause-solving skills - have interaction effects. Boys demonstrate higher skills than girls when parents apply character-oriented verbal control styles. Girls do so when mothers use position-oriented verbal control styles, especially in the area of cause-solving skills.

문제해결을 통한 영재아 선별에 관한 연구 (A New Screening Method for Potentially Gifted Children : Problem Solving Activities)

  • The problem solving activities developed for this formal assessment program are based on familiar, real life problems. Responses of third and fourth grade subjects to problem solving items were assessed by problem solving ability, reasoning, and imagination/creativity. Reliability of problem solving activities was supported by the results of interrater reliability and Cronbach's alpha. Correlations between problem solving activities and the Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Test(NNAT: 1985) showed that cluster scores on the NNAT were significantly related to each score on the problem solving activities. Problem solving by gender showed that girls were more likely to express ideas than boys. There were also differences related to grade level on some items.

액션러닝을 활용한 구강보건교육학 수업이 의사소통능력과 문제해결능력에 미치는 융합적 학습효과 (The Convergence Effects of Oral Health Education Class Applying Action Learning on Communication Ability and Problem-Solving Ability)

  • 본 연구는 액션러닝을 활용한 구강보건교육학 수업이 치위생(학)과 학생들의 의사소통능력과 문제해결능력에 미치는 학습효과를 파악하고자 시도된 융합연구이다. 연구대상은 B지역 S대학교 치위생(학)과 3학년에 재학중인 학생 37명으로 사전 사후 설계의 연구로 시행되었다. 연구 결과 액션러닝을 활용한 구강보건교육학 수업이 의사소통능력(p<0.001)과 문제해결능력(p<0.001)에 미치는 학습효과는 사전 사후 비교시 긍정적인 변화를 나타내었다. 의사소통능력과 문제해결능력의 하위영역별 점수에서도 사전 사후 비교 시 유의미한 결과가 나타났다. 따라서 액션러닝 활용 수업이 학습자의 의사소통능력과 문제해결능력 향상에 효과가 있어 학습자 참여식 교수법으로 치위생학교육의 설계 및 운영이 활용되어야 할 것이다.
