모-자녀 기질 적합성과 자녀의 문제행동간의 관련성 연구 (Studies on Relations between Goodness of Fit in Mother-children Temperament Interaction and Problem Behaviors of Children)

  • Objectives The purpose of this study was to identify the importance of goodness of fit in mother-child temperamental interaction (MCTI) and the child problem behaviors. Methods The behavior problem of 180 child outpatients from traditional Korean medical clinic was measured with Korean version of Child Behavior Checklists, and the temperament of child and their mother was measured with Junior Temperament and Character Inventory and Temperament and Character Inventory-Revised-Short. The MCTI was calculated as the difference of the temperament score between mother and child. The correlation and linear regression analysis was performed to examine the effects of temperament on Child Behavior Checklists. Results The MCTI on Harm-Avoidance was the significant factor for explaining the internalizing problem (B=-.154, t=-10.130, p<.001), externalizing problem (B=-.045, t=-3.340, p=.001) and total problem (B=-.298, t=-7.574, p<.001). We also confirmed that the temperament of mother and child significantly correlated with the child behavior problems as provided previously. Conclusions These results showed that the temperament interaction between mother and child is an important factor for predicting problem behaviors in child clinical sample. The goodness of fit in MCTI and problem behavior should be considered as pivotal element in traditional Korean pediatrics.

비윤리적 고객반품행동의 고찰: 유통업체 종업원 관점 (Unethical Customer Return Behaviors: Retail Employees' Perspectives)

  • As Korean retailers are expanding their return policies, customer abuse and fraud behaviors are increasing. This study attempts to understand customers' unethical return behaviors in the Korean retailing. As an exploratory approach, the study identifies behavioral patterns of unethical returns from retail employees' perspectives. A total of 168 cases collected from 112 individual interviews with retail employees are qualitatively analyzed. Unethical return behaviors are categorized into five groups: lenting/deshopping, product defects with customer faults, unreasonable compensation demands, selfish behaviors, and problem behaviors in the service encounter. The study indicates that a variety of unethical return behaviors are observed despite a short history of return policy in Korea, and renting/deshopping and product defects with customer faults are the most prevalent return abuse behaviors.

한국 다문화 가정 학생의 문제행동 관련 요인에 관한 체계적 문헌고찰 (Related Factors of Problem Behaviors among Students of Multicultural Family in Korea: A Systematic Review)

  • 본 연구는 한국 다문화 가정 학생의 문제행동 관련요인을 분석한 체계적 문헌고찰 연구이다. 체계적 문헌고찰은 국내 데이터베이스인 한국연구정보서비스, 한국학술정보서비스와 국회전자도서관의 온라인 검색을 통해 2018년 7월 4일까지 검색된 국내문헌을 대상으로 하였으며, 자료 검색어는 다문화와 문제행동 혹은 행동문제로 하였다. 그 결과, 총 2,084편이 검색되었고, 최종 21편이 분석에 이용되었다. 분석결과, 다문화 가정 학생의 문제행동 관련 요인으로 개인적 요인(성별, 학업성적, 자아존중감 등), 가족적 요인(가족의 유형, 부모지지, 어머니의 문화적응스트레스 등), 환경적 요인(친구지지, 교사지지, 사회적지지)의 변수들이 관련요인으로 파악되었다. 또한, 한국 다문화 가정 학생의 문제행동을 측정한 변수는 학교생활적응이 10편으로 가장 많았고, 심리적, 사회적 적응 또는 부적응이 4편, 문제행동 또는 위험행동과 정서적 행동문제가 각각 3편으로 나타났다. 이를 근거로 다문화 가정 학생의 문제행동과 관련된 개인적, 가족적, 환경적 요인에 대한 중재를 통해, 문제행동 발생을 줄일 필요가 있으며, 이를 위한 사회적, 정책적 노력이 필요함을 알 수 있다. 또한 문제행동에 대해 보다 구체적이고 일관성 있는 이론적 정의를 근거로 도구를 개발하여, 문제행동을 정확히 측정하고, 이를 예방할 수 있는 교육적, 사회적 전략이 마련되어야 할 것이다.

조부모-손자녀가족 아동의 학교생활적응 (School Adjustment of Children Raised by Grandparents)

  • Although increasing number of children are being raised by grandparents these days, little research exists on the development of the children in this arrangement. This study aimed at examining school adjustment of the children raised by grandparents, by comparing academic achievement and general classroom and school behaviors of the children in grandparent families with those of their peers from other types of families such as two-parents, single parent, kinship and institution care, and single parent with grandparent(s). Three hundred and twenty four 2nd graders md two hundred ninety eight 5th graders were surveyed for this study. It was found that children raised solely by grandparents did quite well, relative to children in traditional families where two parents were present. Children from single-parent families were significantly worse in school achievement and study habits than children in traditional nuclear families. Girls obtained higher scores on school achievement and study habits whereas they showed lower scores on problem behaviors than boys. There was also an interaction effect between family structure and gender of child in school achievement.

또래압력, 부모감독과 음주기대 및 청소년 음주행동의 변화추이 -청주지역 고등학생을 중심으로- (Study on Peer Pressure, Parental Supervision, Alcohol Expectancy and Adolescents' Drinking Behaviors of 2001 & 2006 -Focusing on the High School Students of Cheong Ju-)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify relationships among peer pressure, parental supervision, alcohol expectancy and adolescent drinking behaviors between year 2001 and 2006. Three hundred high school students were given questionnaires each year on their drinking behavior. Findings of this study were; first, a adolescent drinking and the amount drinking has increased during the years. adolescent drinker ratio as adolescent drinkers were 91.3% in 2006 compared to 75.9% in 2001. The average drinking amounts were 40.82 units in 2006 and 24.9 units in 2001. Second, differences were found in adolescent drinking behaviors such as the amount of alcohol consumption, drinking frequency, & problem drinker ratio by gender, and grade. Male students over female students. Third, peer pressure, parental supervision, alcohol expectancy showed significant impacts on adolescent drinking behaviors through 2001 and 2006. Students who lack parental supervision with much higher drinking-related peer pressure along with a higher level of positive alcohol expectancy were observed to be heavy drinkers and problem drinkers. Especially, students who showed belief in alcohol's tension-relieving function and sociability function tended to over-drink, drink more frequently and as a result, experienced more drinking problems. Intervention strategies were discussed.

돌봄제공자가 인지한 치매노인의 문제행동 연구 (Problematic Behaviors recognized by Caregiver in Demented Older Adults)

  • Behavioral symptoms are frequent and problematic components of dementia. The aim of this study was to detect behavioral problem of the 25 item of dementia problem behaviour(DPB)assesment scale for demented older adults. Seventy-three patients with dementia staying in the day care center, group home, dementia hospital, nursing home were recruited data on problematic behavior obtained through interviews with their caregiver during 2 months from March to May 2004. Results shows that problematic behaviors common occurring in 95% of subjects. The most frequently exhibited problematic behaviors were repetitive movement(1.05), repetitive questions(1.03), restlessness(1.0). indifference(0.97). shouting/screaming(0.92). Problematic Behaviors of the demented older adults were closely associated to the distress for caregiver. Most distressful ones for caregivers were repetitive questions(1.46), repetitive movement(1.42), shouting/screaming (1.42), indifference(1.41). restlessness(1.41). Problematic Behaviors of the demented older adults were divided into six subdivisions, among those restless behavior was positively correlated with aggressive behavior, nervous symptom and psychotic symptom. and then nervous symptom was interrelated to psychotic symptom(P<0.01). This study has limitation that field study data were derived from various primary caregivers.

한국 청소년의 음주행동 잠재계층 유형 및 예측요인: 잠재계층분석 방법의 적용 (Patterns of Drinking Behaviors and Predictors of Class Membership among Adolescents in the Republic of Korea: A Latent Class Analysis)

  • Purpose: Despite the high drinking rates and the complexity of drinking behaviors in adolescents, insufficient attention has been paid to their drinking patterns. Therefore, we aimed to identify patterns of adolescent drinking behaviors and factors predicting the distinct subgroups of adolescent drinking behaviors. Methods: We analyzed nationally representative secondary data obtained in 2017. Our final sample included 24,417 Korean adolescents who had consumed at least one glass of alcohol in their lifetime. To investigate patterns of drinking behaviors, we conducted a latent class analysis using nine alcohol-related characteristics, including alcohol consumption levels, solitary drinking, timing of drinking initiation, and negative consequences of drinking. Furthermore, we investigated differences in demographics, mental health status, and characteristics of substance use across the latent classes identified in our study. To do so, we used the PROC LCA with COVARIATES statement in the SAS software. Results: We identified three latent classes of drinking behaviors: current non-drinkers (CND), binge drinkers (BD), and problem drinkers (PD). Compared to the CND class, both BD and PD classes were strongly associated with higher academic year, lower academic performance, higher levels of stress, suicidal ideation, lifetime conventional or electronic cigarette use, and lifetime use of other drugs. Conclusion: Health professionals should develop and implement intervention strategies targeting individual subgroups of drinking behaviors to obtain better outcomes. In particular, health professionals should consider different characteristics across subgroups of adolescent drinking behaviors when developing the interventions, such as poor mental health status and other substance use among binge and problem drinkers.

부부갈등과 유아의 기질 및 정서조절능력이 유아의 문제행동에 미치는 영향 (Problem Behavior of Preschool Children : The Influence of Marital Conflict and of Children's Temperament and Emotion Regulation)

  • In this study of the influence of marital conflict and of children's temperament and emotion regulation on problem behavior, 194 mothers of 3- to 5-year-old children responded to the O'Leary- Poter Scale(1980), the Emotionality, Activity and Shyness scale(Buss & Plomin, 1984) and the Emotion Regulation Checklist(Shields & Cicchetti, 1997); teachers rated children's behavior on the Problem Behavior Questionnaire(Behar & Stringfield, 1974). Data were analyzed by independent t-tests, correlations, and multiple regressions. Results demonstrated that shyness, activity, and emotion regulation had direct effects on hostile-aggressive behaviors. Shy temperament had a direct effect on fearful-anxious behavior. Both marital conflict and temperament influenced hostile-aggressive behaviors indirectly through emotion regulation, implying a crucial role of emotion regulation in preschoolers' social development.

영아기 기질의 발달적 변화와 영아기 사회적 부적응 행동 간의 관계 : 초기 기질 특성과 기질의 변화 패턴을 중심으로 (The Relationship of Developmental Change of Temperament and Problem Behaviors During Infancy: Early Characteristic of Temperament and Developmental Patterns)

  • This longitudinal study investigated developmental changes in temperament and examined social adjustment problems by early temperamental characteristics and developmental patterns of temperamental change during infancy. Subjects were 153 six-month-old infants and their mothers. Infant temperament and toddler's problem behavior were measured by the Infant Behavior Questionnaire-Revised (Garstein & Rothbart, 2003) and the Toddler Behavior Checklist (Larzelere et al., 1989), respectively. Results showed that distress to limitations, high pleasure, perceptual sensitivity, and approach increased with age, while activity level, cuddliness, and vocal reactivity decreased. Infants with high scores in activity level, fear, sadness, and approach at 6 months showed more problem behaviors at 18 months. Infants showing abrupt developmental change of high pleasure and perceptual sensitivity developed more negative behavior.

음악치료 프로그램이 ADHD 성향 아동의 문제행동 개선과 사회적 기술향상에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Music Therapy Program on Problem Behaviors and Social Skills Children with ADHD)

  • 본 연구에서는 학교생활에 적응하지 못하는 ADHD 아동에게 음악치료를 통해 문제행동을 개선시켜 사회기술향상 효과를 알아보았다. J시에 소재한 B초등학교에 재학 중인 1,2학년 중대상으로 K-CBCL로 부모의 동의를 얻은 아동 총 15명을 실험집단 7명과 통제집단 8명으로 임으로 무선배정 하였다. 음악치료 실시 전과 후에 ADHD 아동의 문제행동과 사회기술향상을 알아보기 위해 부모용 한국판 아동 청소년 행동평가 척도(K-CBCL; Child Behavior Checklist-Korean)와 사회기술평가 척도(Social Skills Rating System; SSRS), 교사용 또래의 사회적 수용도를 실시하였다. 음악치료에 참가한 실험집단의 ADHD 아동은 문제행동의 공격성, 주의집중력과 사회적 기술의 협동성, 자기주장, 자기통제에서 유의한 효과를 보였고 사회적 기술의 책임감과 자기 수용도는 유의한차이가 없었다. 그러나 사회적 기술의 책임감과 자기 수용도는 효과가 나타나지 않았으나 통제집단보다 실험집단에서 점수가 높게 나타났음을 확인할 수 있었는데 이는 장기간의 실험을 실시하면 긍정적인 효과를 얻을 것이라 본다.
