The purpose of this study is to analyze the perceptions, demands, operation problems of teacher librarians for the implementation of the high school credit system. 153 teacher librarians working in high schools participated in the online survey, and statistical analysis was conducted Teacher librarians had a high understanding of the high school credit system, and the demand for elective courses management was high. In particular, teacher librarians working at research schools had a higher understanding of the high school credit system and the operating foundation than those in general schools. Lack of awareness of the educational role of students and teachers toward teacher librarians was recognized as the biggest problem in the elective course management and there was no difference according to the background variables of the teacher librarian as gender, region, experience. On the basis of this result, it is suggested and discussed that developing high school credit system training program for teacher librarians, opening of elective courses related to reading, media, and information literacy skills and developing textbook, and instituting mandatory completion courses related to reading, media, and information literacy skills in pre-teacher training course.

Due to climate change, temperature is rising worldwide. Since rapid growth has been achieved focused on cities, South Korea is experiencing serious environmental problems such as heat island and air pollution in urban areas. To solve this problem, the central and each local government are actively promoting tree planting campaigns. This study quantitatively calculated changes in green areas and vegetation of Gumi by the tree planting campaign, and analyzed the temperature changes accordingly. For the target area, the green area, vegetation index, and ground temperature were calculated for 4 different time periods using the given Landsat satellite images. As a result of the study, the green area of was increased by 7.24km2 and 4.93km2 for two regions, respectively. Accordingly, the vegetation index increased by 0.14 to 0.16, and the temperature decreased by 0.8 to 1.2℃. The Tree planting campaign not only plays a role in lowering the temperature of the city but also does various roles such as air purification, carbon absorption, and providing green rest areas to citizens. Therefore the campaign should be carried out continuously.
Recently, the prevalence of remotely managed patient care systems in medical institutions is increasing due to COVID-19. In particular, in the case of fluid monitoring, hospitals are considering introducing it as a system that can reduce patient safety and nurses' work. There are two products under development: a load cell method that measures weight and a method that detects drops of sap by infrared sensing. Although each product has differences in operation principle, sensor type, size, usage, and price, medical institutions are highly interested in the accuracy of the data obtained. In this study, two prototypes with different sensor methods were manufactured and the total amount of infusion per hour was measured to test the accuracy, which is the core of the infusion monitoring device. In addition, when there was an external movement, the change in the measured value of the sap was tested to evaluate the accuracy according to the measurement method. As a result of the experiment, there was a difference of less than 5% in the measurement value error of the two devices, and the load cell method showed a difference in the low-capacity measurement value and the infrared method in the high-capacity measurement value. As a result of this experiment, there was little difference in accuracy according to the sensor method of the infusion monitoring device, and it is considered that there is no problem in accuracy when used in a medical institution.
In the late Joseon Dynasty, ideas in folk religions were closely related to Daoist themes. There were, for instance, folk ideas centered on Prophecies of Jeong Gam (鄭鑑錄 jeonggamrok) that developed into 'raising island-armies (海島起兵說 hado gibyeongseol),' the future utopian movement known as the 'South Joseon Faith (南朝鮮信仰 namjoseon sinang),' and faith around 'Maitreya's Descensionist-Birth (彌勒下生 mireuk hasaeng).' People aimed to transform their country based on these ideas. Associated folklore tended to come from fengshui (風水) and books on prophecies and divination (圖讖 docham), and both of these drew heavily upon Daoist concepts. On the other hand, Daoist texts began being translated as national projects under King Cheoljong (哲宗), and many more were translated and published later under King Gojong (高宗). The nature of these Daoist texts mostly consisted of either morality books (善書 seonseo) or precious scrolls (寶卷 bogeon). The problem was that these ordinances and the Daoist texts of regents were among the main causes of civil war during the Qing Dynasty. In this regard, the translation of the Daoist texts conducted as a national project provided a theoretical basis for the people wishing to foment civil war or transformation. This raises the question of why King Gojong implemented a Daoist translation project in his nation. In an effort to answer this question, this article summarizes the popular ideas of the late Joseon Dynasty and explains how they were closely related to Daoism. In addition, this article summarizes the facts about how Daoism has emerged from a national crisis but developed a function of protecting the state (鎭護) in Korean history. Further described is the situation under which Daoism was summoned during the Japanese Invasion of Joseon (壬辰倭亂). Analysis is provided to show that King Gojong's intention was to translate Daoism due to Daoism's role in protecting the state. In addition, the relationship between current Daoist rites and customs in Korea and King Gojong's dissemination of Daoist oaths and vouchers is confirmed.
Although the rapid development of technology has led to a swift increase in the number of companies using social networking services (SNS), it will not be accurate to say that they have fully "utilized" the functionality of SNS simply by "using" these services. Therefore, this study aims to increase the convenience of using digital technology and help SNS users in extending the functionality of these services beyond their regular use and thus, revitalize the field by increasing the service providers' efficiency. In this study, the Facebook usage status of a graduate school newspaper from an undisclosed university in Seoul was analyzed from February to December, 2021 using the participant observation method. The results of the study revealed the following: First, it is necessary to diversify the subject and type of content to ensure a continuous supply of quality content; Second, there is a need to examine the user categories and characteristics by utilizing SNS functionalities such as, the target reports and insights, and based on this, supply content that meets the needs of the users; Third, to resolve the problem of low levels of user participation and an inactive Facebook account, it is necessary to mobilize new marketing tools like online events. The significance of this study is that it confronts the real problems faced by some companies that cannot keep pace with market changes in a digital environment, identifies failure factors, and proposes solutions to them.

Currently, the automation and intelligence of the shipbuilding industry have improved its work production capacity and cost competitiveness, but the reduction rate of safety accidents among industrial site workers is still low and the damage caused by safety accidents is very serious, so there is a need for improvement according to the workplace. This research aims to demonstrate the connectivity between smart safety helmets in the demonstration area to verify the effectiveness along with the development of smart helmets for worker protection and environmental safety in shipyards. For efficient communication between workers, impact noise of over 95dB was confirmed in the workplace, and noise reduction was required. To solve this problem, the filtering performance was compared and analyzed using the Butterworth, Chebyshev, and elliptic algorithms. The connectivity test and noise reduction method between smart helmets proposed in this study will increase the usability and safety of the field through the development of advanced smart helmets tailored to the shipbuilding workplace in the future.

As Korean coastal activity is high, the incidence of accidents caused by marine waste is extensive. An accident in which marine floating waste ropes and fishing nets are wound around the propeller of a sailing ship is termed "Rope wrapped accident." To prevent such accidents, this study applied the Finite Element Method (F.E.M.) for performance evaluation of the shaver type cutter, commercialized in Korea, through a structural safety review and water tank test. The results demonstrate that all parts constituting the rope cutter were damaged before reaching 0.5s, and the safety factor of each part was found to be at least 2 based on the maximum stress generated compared to the tensile strength. In the basin test, the cutting process of the shaver type rope cutter was reviewed, and the installation angle was set for each case considering that the rope floating in the sea actually enters at various angles. Consequently, as it was successful at cutting in all the cases, it can be concluded that there will be no problem in cutting the rope regardless of the mounted angle of the cutting blade.

The purpose of this study is to examine the characteristics of model of the experiment in students' open inquiry. The research is a reinterpretation of the data collected from the performance of a three-year research project under the theme of 'school science inquiry' the perspective of model of the experiment. The inquiry activities of a focus group made up of four students have been recorded seven times. The recorded files and transcribed copies were analyzed according to interpretive methods. Students' activities were divided into three modeling of the experiment units, considering the modeling unit that includes the process of starting from the problem until it gets solved. The results of the study include illuminating the dynamic process and characteristics of modeling of the experiment and discussing its educational meaning as a distributed cognitive system at each modeling unit. First, students, instruments, and the primitive form of calculation represented by the interaction between them turned out to be important factors in the distributed cognitive system that constitutes model of the experiment. Second, in the early stages, non-verbal activities were carried out in which students became familiar with instruments, and verbal quantitative signs were created when the activities were sufficiently carried out. The generated quantitative signs became a source of data and confidence that can be referenced in subsequent activities. Third, the specialization of instrumentalization occurred, and factors that were important in inquiry, such as variable control, appeared. The results of the study provide new implications for science education research and education, which have been centered on explanatory models, by unfolding the characteristics of model of the experiment that have not been noticed in science education through students' inquiry.
Purpose: This study analyzes accessibility of outdoor evacuation places for earthquake and the accessibility improvement effects when expanding the evacuation places in accessibility-deficient areas. In order to consider real-world evacuees, the accessibility analysis is based on service population not on resident population. Method: Location-allocation model as a GIS-based spatial optimization mode is used to analyze accessibility and vulnerable areas to evacuation places. Of location-allocation problem types, 'Maximize Coverage' method is chosen to allocate as many potential evacuees as possible to evacuation places. And impedence cutoffs or evacuation distances (times) are applied to three classes: 500m (7.5 minutes), 1,000m (15 minutes), and 1,500m (22.5 minutes). Case study area is Jung-gu areas, Seoul as a high-density downtown area. Result: Results show that accessibility-deficient areas and population to evacuation places are much more in service population than in resident population. Accessibility is significantly improved when increases when expanding the evacuation places in accessibility-deficient areas. Yet, accessibility-deficient areas are still remained since available lands are insufficient in the high-density downtown area. Conclusion: The study suggests that temporary evacuation facilities like outdoor evacuation places for earthquake need to consider real potential evacuees based not only on resident population but also on service population. Also, policy measures to provide emergency shelters need to more utilize spatial optimization tools like location-allocation model.

In this paper, we present a method for dependency parsing with chunking in Korean. Dependency parsing is a task of determining a governor of every word in a sentence. In general, we used to determine the syntactic governor in Korean and should transform the syntactic structure into semantic structure for further processing like semantic analysis in natural language processing. There is a notorious problem to determine whether syntactic or semantic governor. For example, the syntactic governor of the word "먹고 (eat)" in the sentence "밥을 먹고 싶다 (would like to eat)" is "싶다 (would like to)", which is an auxiliary verb and therefore can not be a semantic governor. In order to mitigate this somewhat, we propose a Korean dependency parsing after chunking, which is a process of segmenting a sentence into constituents. A constituent is a word or a group of words that function as a single unit within a dependency structure and is called a chunk in this paper. Compared to traditional dependency parsing, there are some advantage of the proposed method: (1) The number of input units in parsing can be reduced and then the parsing speed could be faster. (2) The effectiveness of parsing can be improved by considering the relation between two head words in chunks. Through experiments for Sejong dependency corpus, we have shown that the USA and LAS of the proposed method are 86.48% and 84.56%, respectively and the number of input units is reduced by about 22%p.
