Carlitz module is used to study abelian extensions of K=$F_{q}$(T). In number theory every abelian etension of Q is contained in a cyclotomic field. Similarly every abelian extension of $F_{q}$(T) with some condition on .inf. is contained in a cyclotomic function field. Hence the study of cyclotomic function fields in analogy with cyclotomic fields is an important subject in number theory. Much are known in this direction such as ring of integers, class groups and units ([G], [G-R]). In this article we are concerned with the ring of integers in a cyclotomic function field. In [G], it is shown that the ring of integers is generated by a primitive root of the Carlitz module using the ramification theory and localization. Here we will give another proof, which is rather elementary and explicit, of this fact following the methods in [W].[W].

Forecasting and extrapolation for time dependent phenomena by using Multi layer neural network has been studied. We calculated values of a function at short intervals, and made one dimensional vector whose elements were a partial gather of the values. If there is anything same as the future of the functions exists in the fragment set, it is possible for us to have an advanced precision extrapolation. Otherwise, if the approximate function of the primitive function can be constructed by teaming the short interval in the network, the precision of extrapolation also can be well realized.

Finite field multiplication and division are important arithmetic operation in error-correcting codes and cryptosystems. The elements of the finite field GF($2^m$) are represented by bases with a primitive polynomial of degree m over GF(2). We can be easily realized for multiplication or computing multiplicative inverse in GF($2^m$) based on a normal basis representation. The number of product terms of logic function determines a complexity of the Messay-Omura multiplier. A normal basis exists for every finite field. It is not easy to find the optimal normal element for a given primitive polynomial. In this paper, the generating method of normal basis is investigated. The normal bases whose product terms are less than other bases for multiplication in GF($2^m$) are found. For each primitive polynomial, a list of normal elements and number of product terms are presented.

In this paper, we define the Banach-valued strong $M_{\alpha}$-integral and study the primitive of the strong $M_{\alpha}$-integral in terms of the $M_{\alpha}$-variational measures. We also prove that every function of bounded variation is a multiplier for the strong $M_{\alpha}$-integral.

In this paper, the primitive and double combined motion classification of the arm is discussed using pattern recognition of EM signal. The EM signals are detected from Ag-Ag/Cl surface electrodes, and IBM PC, calculated the Likelyhood probability and the decision function on the feature space of integral absolute value. Multiclass decision rule is introduced for higher decision rate. On our experimental results from expert simulator, the decision rate of more than 78% can be obtained.

We have thought artistic charactics of modern form is abstract expression and purity and unity sight. Specially, modern sculpture form has strict geometrical form as showed in primitive art. In this paper, we model the downward collision of a falling object to the base. We aim to provide maximum diversity of response to physical. collision. To this end, the primary design concern of the model is to unfold the collision phenomenon in a logical and natural manner, detailed enough to construct an immersive virtual environment. To achieve these requirements, first we determine domains for the characteristic of the material of the falling objects, and select the dominant force of the collision. We formulate the collision phenomena with combination of primitive attributes and their relationships. The formulated function evaluates the results of the collision in qualitative aspects as well as in quantitative aspects. Between the collision issues, 'Collision Detection' and 'Collision Response', this paper focuses on Collision Response issue.

The DNP3.0 and the IEC61850 are the most important standards in the SCADA systems for the power. Each standard has strength and weakness, so they will coexist for a while. This paper presents a design of the gateway function between DNP3.0 and IEC61850. Both standards use object-oriented modelling methods, so, they have some similarities. However, the DNP3.0 objects are described by object number and index, and the IEC61850 objects are described by name. So there should be mapping function between the object number and index of DNP3.0 objects and the object name of IEC61850 objects. We analyse the communication profiles of both standards, and shows the service-primitive mapping table and the procedure of the gateway function.

The theory of subjective preference with temporal and spatial factors which include sound signals arriving at both ears is described. Then, auditory evoked potentials which may relate to a primitive subjective response namely subjective preference are discussed. According to such fundamental phenomena, a workable model of human auditory-brain system is proposed. For eample, important subjective attributes, such as loudness, coloration, threshold of preception of a reflection and echo distrubance as well as subjective preference in relation to the initial time delay gap between the direct sound and the first reflection, and the subsequent reverberation time are well described by the autocorrelation function of source signals. Speech clarity, subjective diffuseness as well as subjective preference are related to the magnitude of inter-aural crosscorrelation function (IACC). Even the caktail party effects may be eplained by spatialization of human brain, i.e., independence of temporal and spatial factors.
