  • An analysis was carried out for this study to figure out if there exists any differences in the model consumers accept for commercialized MP3-playing clothing and bio-signal sensing clothing. To analyze the differences of the structural variables of the products types, t-test was conducted with SPSS 15.0 package and multi-group analysis with AMOS 5.0 to find out the differences of each path goes with product types in structural equation model. In analytical results of effective sample of 557 copies of questionnaire, consumers' were highly aware of MP3-playing clothing in perceived ease of use, while they were aware relatively high of bio-signal sensing clothing in perceived usefulness, attitudes, consumer acceptance. The perceived value which was input to find out consumers awareness about sale price of commercialized products, was proven to do very important moderating role in forming consumers' attitudes and acceptance intention. Besides, consumers showed a difference in path in accepting model goes with product types. In bio-signal sensing clothing case, 'the perceived usefulness$\rightarrow$attitudes' path which was backed up in MP3-playing clothing was rejected, and 'perceived value$\rightarrow$attitudes' path appeared relatively high with moderating role of perceived value higher than MP3-playing clothing. Considering the results above, as the smart clothing is in the initiative commercialization stage while consumers were in the inquiry stage into awareness or information necessary in the course of purchase decision-making, and so an effective commercialization strategy seems to be necessary.

  • With the advancement of virtual reality technology, virtual reality contents and devices are being competitively released. This research deals with an early stage adoption model of a motion-sensing input device which enhances the user experience of these virtual reality contents and devices. In contrast to the previous research on the adoption or resistance of innovative products, this work compares and analyzes the antecedents in MIR(Model of Innovation Resistance) of resistance-perspective as well as those in UTAUT2(Extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology) and IDT(Innovation Diffusion Theory) of adoption-perspective, and suggests a resistance-incorporated adoption model from a new viewpoint. The analysis of questionnaire data indicates the following results: Performance expectancy, effort expectancy, price value, hedonic motivation in UTAUT2 and visibility in IDT have a significant negative influence on innovation resistance. Compatibility in IDT and MIR exerts a positive influence on perceived value. Social influence and hedonic motivation in UTAUT2 positively relates to perceived value. Higher innovation resistance results in lower perceived value, with innovation resistance and perceived value negatively and positively affecting intention to use, respectively.

  • Convergence service, which is a combination of various services, is becoming more important. Among the many examples of convergence service, this study aims to analyze telematics service. By dividing Telematics service into information services and entertainment services, it was empirically proved that the relationship between each dimensions of TAM (perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, purchase intention) and each service satisfaction, price, design factor. According to the result of structure equation model, service satisfaction and design factor have a significant effect on perceived ease of use, but not on perceived usefulness. It means that the perceived ease of use factor should be emphasized, because of service characteristics that are used during driving.

  • As students can purchase textbooks online or from local bookstores, we proposed a model to study the predictors of textbook purchasing from online bookstores based on the theory of reasoned action (TRA) and technology acceptance model (TAM). The survey instrument consisted of 51 items to assess 10 constructs of the proposed model, where the items used to measure the constructs were adapted from previous literature. Pre-testing and pilot testing of the measures were conducted by selected users of online bookstores. Data were collected from 220 university students who have purchased and intend to purchase their textbooks from online bookstores. The findings of this research are summarized as follows. First, navigation, previous experience, and innovation have a significant impact on the buyer's perception of ease of use. Second, price and delivery services have a significant impact on the buyer's perception of usefulness. Third, the perception of ease of use also has a significant impact on the buyer's perception of usefulness. Fourth, the perception of ease of use, perception of usefulness, and subjective norms all significantly support the purchasing intention in the case of online bookstores.

  • This study investigated the perceptions, attitudes, and behaviors of potential consumers toward using 3D printers to create their personal clothes. An online survey and a series of Welch's t-tests and ANOVA were conducted to investigate the differences in demographic characteristics, prior experiences in 3D printing, and levels of need for uniqueness among the sub-groups. A multiple linear regression analysis was performed to test the relationships among variables of the modified Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). There were significant differences in gender and prior experiences regarding the UTAUT of personal 3D printing. The need for uniqueness has a positive effect on consumers' intention to use 3D printing technology for designing personal clothes and perception of the price of the 3D printer used to create individual clothes is important. Positive relationships were found between UTAUT variables as well as the use and purchase intentions. This study analyzed the potential for popularization of 3D printing technology to create fashion items and explore consumer willingness to embrace and use personal fashion designs. The results of this study are expected to assist consumers, designers, retailers and marketers, and experts in 3D printing technology by providing insight into consumer awareness and acceptance of personalized 3D-printed fashion and products.

  • Purpose: As mobile devices are commonly used and contact-free services are widespread due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the recent distribution environment, this study suggests retail strategies for consumers using high-speed railways. To this end, we analyzed how consumer perception on technologies necessary for use of mobile apps is related to the attitude that drives consumers to continue using the app services. Research design, data and methodology: Based on the extended unified theory of technology acceptance and use of technology model by Venkatesh, Morris, Davis and Davis (2003), we added variables proposed by existing theories that studied the technology acceptance model from multiple perspectives and empirically analyzed the relationship between user satisfaction and use intention with structural equation modeling. Results: As expected, factors necessary for the use of app services such as performance expectancy, social influence, price value, facilitating conditions, security, and aesthetics had positive effects on user satisfaction, whereas the effect of effort expectancy on user satisfaction was rejected. And user satisfaction was found to have a significant effect on intention to use. Conclusions: The results provide implications that strategic retail management of the above factors can motivate passengers to continuously use high-speed railways.

  • It is important for the people in the 3D printing industry to determine which factors influence the decision-making that determine the adoption of 3D printers and the role of the factors. Through this, we intend to find ways to contribute to the development of 3D printing industry in Korea by increasing utilization of 3D printer used in domestic companies and increasing investment in related industries. 3D printers are making rapid progress according to the development of technology, the public interest, and the activation of investment. Foreign countries have made remarkable progress in equipment, materials, software, and industrial applications, but they are lower than expected in Korea. It is necessary to introduce a smooth 3D printer in order to revitalize the 3D printer industry and enlarge the base, but it is insufficient for actual introduction and field application. The independent variables that represent economic, technological, and environmental characteristics were selected through a literature survey, and a model for accepting integrated technology for convergence of societies in the 3D printing industry was proposed. This study confirms that economic factors such as output unit price, government support, and environmental factors such as 3D contents should be developed organically for the introduction of 3D printing technology and equipment. This require systematic and effective support from the government, and it is necessary to improve the economic support, related laws, and systems that can be directly experienced by the user as a user. As the domestic 3D printing industry develops with economic, technological and time investment, 3D printing industry should be the key engine of the 4th industrial revolution.
