역사자료의 디지털 아카이빙 방안 연구 (A Study of Digital Archiving Strategies for Historical Materials)

  • 본 연구에서는 급변하는 디지털 정보환경에서 역사자료의 디지털 아카이빙 방안을 모색하고자 해외의 대표적인 역사자료 디지털 아카이빙 구축 사례를 조사하였다. 즉 역사자료의 디지털 아카이빙 프로젝트를 수집, 보존, 접근 및 활용의 정보 생명주기 및 디지털 큐레이션 개념에 근거하여 분석하였다. 이를 통해 역사자료의 디지털 아카이빙 구축의 필수 요건 및 지속가능성을 위한 방안으로 국가적 차원의 구체적인 정책 수립과 이를 뒷받침해 줄 수 있는 재정적 지원 및 연구, 지속적인 서비스를 제공하기 위한 장기보존 시스템 구축의 확립, 그리고 장기보존 전략, 표준화 등을 위한 기관 간, 국가 간 협력 방안 및 업무 분담체계 마련 등의 방안을 제시하였다.

MONITORING THE EFFECT OF THE ULTRA-HIGH PRESSURE PRESERVATION TECHNOLOGY BY NEAR INFRARED REFLECTANCE SPECTROSCOPY

  • The ultra-high pressure technology fur the preservation of foods is under intense research to evaluate its potential as an alternative or complementary process to traditional methods of food preservation. Traditional processing methods usually need a large amount of energy, may cause unwanted reactions in the food, leading to cooked flavor and loss of vitamins, etc. The application of ultra-high hydrostatic pressure for food processing consists of subjecting the food to pressures in the range of 100-1000 ㎫. The ultra-high pressure inactivates the microorganisms and some enzymes, promotes the germination of spores and extends the shelf-life of the foods. This new technology follows the “minimal processing” concept minimizing the quality degradation, saving the vitamins, essential nutrients and flavors as well as utilizing less energy. We joined the research team at our University involved in the mentioned technology using an ultra-high pressure equipment, recording of the near infrared spectra and signal response of a chemosensor array (electronic nose) of their meat (beef and pork), vegetable and fruit samples exposed to different pressure. The results of our investigations achieved by evaluating the measured data using PCA and PQS methods will be presented.

에코뮤지엄 개념에 기초한 지역유산의 보존 및 활용방안에 관한 연구 -천안지역을 중심으로- (A Study on Preservation of Regional Inheritances and Utilization Method Based on the Concept of Eco-Museum - Focusing on Cheonan -)

  • A new possibility for helping regional residents to establish the identity based on the history, culture and environment of the region and harmonizing art and culture in daily life can be seen from eco-museum. Unique cultural inheritances for each region exist not only in our nation but everywhere around the world, and Cheonan region is continuously attracting tourists from other regions as a home of the Independence Hall, Yu Gwan Sun Memorial, and live branches of independent activists with important inheritances such as tourist attractions and national treasures. However, despite unique environment of the region and inheritances with high academic values, lack of basic guides and explanations place the region in an environment that is difficult to approach. The purpose of this study is to systematically investigate regional inheritances based on the concept of eco-museum as an alternative for such problem recognition and to examine problems of inheritances scarred around Cheonan region based on their current status. The author of this study aims to analyze the investigated regional inheritances, rearrange their values and suggest possibilities for continued preservation and utilization.

지구환경보전을 위한 도시설계의 전개에 관한 연구 -건축가 피터 칼솝프의 어바니즘을 중심으로- (A Study on the Development of Urban Design and Preservation of the Earth Environment -Focused on Peter Calthorpe's Urbanism-)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze and to grasp Peter Calthorpe's urbanism through the process that is compared with various developments of urban design field for the preservation of global environment. From this study, Peter Calthorpe's urbanism for global environment is comprehended according to design stages. As a design goal, He seeks a green urbanism that puts emphasis on land use and transportation. As a urban planning, he devises urban footprint for the tool of evaluation and urban planning, and proposes five place types toward mixed-use development, and advocates Transect for eco-friendly land use. As a urban design, he devises urban network model for transportation network based on accessibility, and devises TOD and TOC model for preventing urban sprawl and mitigating carbon emissions, and advocates TND model for pedestrian-friendly space and community life. He makes importance of urban design. Because he thinks that integrative solution is required to global environment and urban design of integrative characteristic is suitable to preserve global environment. The results of this study are summarized as the followings: First, type classification of urbanism for the preservation of global environment and grasping purposes, methods, characteristics according to the types. Second, grasping characteristics and location of Peter Calthorpe's urbanism as a green urbanism. Third, proposing the direction of improvement for our urban planning and design.

식품의 저장.보존을 위한 도구환경에 관한 연구 (A Study on Dogu Environment for the Storage and Preservation of Foods)

  • 지난 30년 동안 빠른 경제발전에 따른 가정 생활의 서구화의 경향으로 한국의 기업들은 제품을 디자인하는데 있어서 현재 소비자(생활자)들이 무엇을 요구하고 있는지 파악하는데 어려움을 주고 있다. 본 연구에서는 도구환경이라는 접근방법을 통하여 이 문제에 대한 디자인 해결방안을 찾고자 하였다. 도구환경이란 제품환경의 확대된 개념으로 깁슨(Gibson, J. J.)의 개념을 인용한다면 인간 행위 목적을 달성하기 위한 모든 수단으로서 물질적인 것과 공간적인 것을 포함하고 있다. 이 접근 방법의 논리와 구조에 관하여는 디자인 방법론과 역사학, 사회심리학, 인간행동과학 등의 제 분야에 기초를 두고 논하였다. 특히 우리 나라의 식품의 보존저장을 위한 도구환경에 대해 선사시대이후 현재에 이르기까지 변화를 고찰한 후 미래의 도구환경을 예측하였다.

Chitooligosaccharide Prolongs Vase Life of Cut Roses by Decreasing Reactive Oxygen Species

  • Chitooligosaccharide (COS), as antioxidant, extensively applied to food and juice preservation. In the present study, influences of COS on vase life and ornamental value of cut roses were investigated. Results showed that vase life of cut roses treated by COS was longer 6.4 days than one of control and ornamental character of cut roses was improved effectively by COS. The increase of vase life and ornamental value were chiefly governed by that COS improved water absorption capacity of cut roses. Besides that, COS decreased the contents of superoxide anion and hydrogen peroxide and lowered the levels of malondialdehyde in turn during the senescence process of cut roses. That was because that COS not only enhanced activities of antioxidant enzymes glutathione reductase, but also improved reduced glutathione contents in petals of cut rose. Therefore, COS could be used in commercial preservatives to improve the longevity of cut roses.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyse the difference in college students' acknowledging of life environment pollution and practical consciousness between their characteristics. This study can be considered to be used as a basic data to suggest the direction of college's environment education and environmental preservation. This study was conducted using questionnaires with 216 college students (71 males and 145 females) of D University in Daegu area from September 20 to 23, 2004. Each of questions about their acknowledging of life environment pollution and practical consciousness was scored on a 5-Point Likert Scale, and then was analysed using the SPSSWIN statistic program.

태백산간지역 농촌재래주택의 현대적 주생활 도입에 따른 주거공간의 변화 (The Residential Space Transformations according to the Introduction of Current Housing Life of Rural Traditional Houses in Taebaek Mountainous Regions)

  • The rural traditional houses in Taebaek mountainous regions play important roles in figuring out values and social aspects of past time including housing life. But due to the introduction of convenient facilities in the current housing life style after industrialized society, many transformations have been taken place even to exist rural traditional folk houses such as installation of new equipment and furniture, the arrangement and function change of rooms, expansion of residential area and etc. So this study aims to secure basic data to prepare installation standard of the convenient facilities as examining convenience facility installation status of the cultural asset designated as rural traditional house, and to identify the meaning and usage of major room of rural traditional houses in order to prepare the proper balances between its original form preservation and residents' convenience living.

정신양생(精神養生)에 관한 문헌적(文獻的) 고찰(考察) (Philological Study on The Mental Cultivation)

  • After examining the viewpoints of the mental cultivation of The yellow Emperor's Internal Bible(內徑), from the viewpoints of The yellow Emperor's Internal Bible, I studied the principles and methods of the mental cultivation(精神養生) which the Taoism School, the Confusian School and the past physicians proposed. And I studied the methods of mental cultivation of the child, the woman and the old by the differences of ages and sex. At the subject of health preservation(養生學) on the basis of concept of relevant adaptation of man to nature(天人相應思想), the mental cultivation(精神養生) was regard more important than the body cultivation(肉體養生) and it was considered that the success of health preservation depended on the state of mind. the basic principles of the mental cultivation is achivement of the mental internal keeping(精神內守) through the state of peace and tranquility without avarice and wild fancy(恬憺虛無). The ways of mental cultivation of the Taoism School, the Confusian School and the past physicians were in the category of The yellow Emperor's Internal Bible. 4. In the previous Jin dynasty(先秦時代), the important theoretical bases and practices to mental cultivation were made. In the Han dynasty(漢時代), the physicians attached importance to mental treaments. During the time from Sui dynasty to Tang Dynasty(隋唐時代), the mental cultivation was made perfect theoretically. During the Period from Song dynasty to Yuan Dynasty(宋元時代), Many methods of mental cultivation were newly created. During the Ming and the Qing Dynasties(明淸時代), the theory of health preservation and the methods of mental treaments were embodied. 5. Studying the mental cultivation by the differences of ages, the childhood(小兒期) is the spring of life. So the mental cultivation of this period put importance to the cultivation of Sh ng(養生). And the youth(靑年期) is the summer of life. So the mental cultivation of this period pill importance to the cultivation of Ch'ang(養長). And the middle age(中年期) is the autumn of life. So the mental cultivation of this period put imporance to the cultivation of Shou(養收). And the old age(老年期) is the winter of life. So the mental cultivation of this period put importance to the cultivation of Tsang(養藏). Studying the mental cultivation by the differences of sex, the man must do the mental cultivation through the dynamic nature(性情) of Yang(陽) and the woman must do the mental cultivation through the static nature of Yin(陰).

연신 폴리프로필렌 필름으로 진공 포장된 팽이버섯(Flammulina velutipes)의 저장성 향상 (Extension of shelf-life in golden needle mushroom (Flammulina velutipes) according to pressure composition packaging using oriented polypropylene film)

  • 팽이버섯은 타 작물에 비해 수확 후 호흡률이 높아 갈변, 경도감소, 부패 등이 수확 즉시 진행되는 작물이다. 이러한 팽이버섯을 장기간 유통하기 위해 가장 많이 적용되는 방법은 진공 포장하여 저온 저장하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 팽이버섯의 포장 후 유통기간을 연장에 더욱 적합한 진공필름을 선발하기 위해 $20{\mu}m$두께의 PE+PP, OPP 및 LDPE 필름으로 진공 포장하여 유통온도인 $10^{\circ}C$의 저온에서 2주간 저장하였다. 일반적으로 많이 적용되는 LDPE 필름이 갈변, 줄기신장, 호흡률 급변, 조직 연화와 같은 변질이 포장 후 7일 이내로 가장 빠르게 진행되었다. 또한 OPP 필름보다 PE+PP가 수일 더 일찍 해체되기 시작하여 갈변 현상이 먼저 발생하였다. 최종적으로 OPP 필름이 안정된 호흡률과 외부색도, 신장억제 현상이 유지되어 LDPE 필름 포장군의 저장 7일차에 발생된 부패율보다 7일이 지연된 저장 14일차에 나타났다.
