  • In this paper, we present a practical Mittag Leffler stability for fractional-order nonlinear systems depending on a parameter. A sufficient condition on practical Mittag Leffler stability is given by using a Lyapunov function. In addition, we study the problem of stability and stabilization for some classes of fractional-order systems.

  • This paper aims at designing an intelligent controller, based on control Lyapunov Function strategy integrated with fabricating discrete model of Buck and Boost converters and analyzing energy changes during the DC/DC progress to realize tracing reference current on Buck and Boost converters. In addition, practical stability phenomenon research and transient performance analysis has been proposed to give an insight to the influence of controller parameters in achieving an enhanced output performance and how the time of sample period affect the error of practical stability will be illustrated. The novelty of this controller in comparison to other schemes lies in the improved performance of practical stability.

  • Voltage control and stability problems are very important in the electric utility industry. But there is no voltage stability analysis program which has reliability as commercial program in domestic. We are developing a practical voltage stability analysis program. In this paper, we will study the existing commercial program and then discuss design of practical analysis tool.

  • In electric power system, the line stability indices adopted in most of the instances laid stress on variation of reactive power than real power variation of the transmission line. In this paper, a proposal is made with the formulation of a New Voltage Stability Index (NVSI) which originates from the equation of a two bus network, neglecting the resistance of transmission line, resulting in appreciable variations in both real and reactive loading. The efficacy of the index and fuzzy based load flow are validated with IEEE 30 bus and Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) 69 bus system, a practical system in India. The results could prove that the identification of weak bus and critical line in both systems is effectively done. The weak area of the practical system and the contingency ranking with overloading either line or generator outages are found by conducting contingency analysis using NVSI.

  • In this paper, we study the impulsive dynamic systems on time scales with initial time difference. By employing cone-valued Lyapunov functions, some comparison theorems and several practical ${\phi}_0$-stability criteria for impulsive system on time scales with initial time difference are obtained.

  • By using Lyapunov method, sufficient conditions for linear time-varying continuous-time and discrete-time systems to be stable are presented under the assumption that the systems are slowly time-varying. Though it is not simple to find the stability regions immediately, one could find practical and large stability regions by constructing an appropriate algorithm.

  • Major atmospheric stability classification methods were evaluated with meteorological data obtained by scoustic sounding profiler (SODAR/RASS) in Seoul. The Psequill classificatio method, the method most widely used because of its good agreement in respect of synoptic scope under the steady state, fails to describe the time lag, the response time on stability by heating or cooling caused by daily insolation or noctrunal surface radiation. Horizontal and vertical standard deviation of wind fluctuation $(\sigma_A and \sigma_E)$ method tend to classify night-time stable condition (E, F class) into unstable condition (A, B class). The classification matrix tables for Vogt's vertical temperature difference and wind speed using method ($\Delta$T $\cdot$ U) and bulk Richardson number (Rb) were amended for practical use over Seoul. The modified tables for $\Delta$T $\cdot$ U and Rb method were made by using comprehensive frequency distribution from Pasquill's method and other existing results, and the correlation coefficient(r) was equal to 0.829. It was confirmed that atmospheric stability could be changed with monitoring site characteristics, height and vertical difference between sensors of monitoring station, and classification method itself.

  • The construction of great deep tunnels has become an important part in tunnel construction especially in the mountain area. Therefore, it is necessary to establish the proper method of the stability analysis for great deep tunnels. In this paper presents the study result on the followings: (1) Evaluation of practical problem on the stability analysis of great deep tunnels. (2) Proposal of the proper on method for great deep tunnels analysis considering the depth of overburden. (3) Understanding of the ground behavior of the great deep tunnel through the sensitivity analysis and the parametric study.

  • From a practical viewpoint, the topic of electrical stability in oxide thin-film transistors (TFTs) has attracted strong interest from researchers. Positive bias stress and constant current stress tests on indium-gallium-zinc-oxide (IGZO)-TFTs have revealed that an IGZO-TFT with a larger Ga portion has stronger stability, which is closely related with the strong binding of O atoms, as determined from an X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis.
