Fashion appears as a similar sense of form in a regularly cyclical way. The part highlighted in the female body also becomes that way. The social and cultural problem of fashion is also a matter about the selection of a wearer on how to wear in what environment. Power dressing means an attire that makes you feel dignity, intelligence or power and an attire that is needed to succeed in the business society. It is based on the fact that women started wearing tailored suits that were regarded as the exclusive item of men as the women's social activity was actively progressing. The purpose of the study is to analyze the problem of styles in the social and cultural perspectives. The power dressing was repeatedly appeared in 1930s, 1980s and 2000s. Therefore, this study collected photo data and literature documents to analyze and compare shoulders represented during these three periods, and to examine what social cultural environment was operated for each period and how the designers of each period expressed with clothes. Power dressing is characterized by the use of shoulder pad for the first time for 1930s, the extended shoulder for 1980s and the design the extended shoulder with the more decorative method for 2000s. Power dressing has been utilized as women's gain and improvement of social status, flaunting of economical status and a symbol of individuality and identity.

The objective of this research is to provide data for the power dressing of female politicians when analyzing the fashion styling of Margaret Thatcher. The method is based on considering Margaret Thatcher's life and political career, together with the power dressing of politicians from domestic and foreign literature, advanced research and internet. In addition, 133 clothing photos of Margaret Thatcher's costumes are collected from the internet and several web-sites. The fashion styling being displayed from 4 May 1979 to 28 November 1990 are classified with the 1st term, 2nd term, 3rd term depending on the prime minister. We then analyze items, colors, patterns and fashion accessories. And also observe the power dressing through Thatcher's fashion styling. The results of this study are as follows: Margaret Thatcher expresses authority through blue clothes which symbolizes conservatism at conservative parties, black clothes at formal parties, two or three piece of various colors at international conferences. She also has simple and impressive styles emphasizing accessories such as ribbons or pearls necklaces and earrings, brooches, and handbags. Margaret Thatcher fulfills the styling power dressing of a strong and feminine figure by using items symbolizing authority as a powerful woman.

As more our society express their interests in strong and independent women on the onset of the 21st century when source of power shifts to knowledge and information, women with economic power are increasing in number, which is because demands for delicacy and objective Judgment known as unique qualities of woman who was deemed to be inferior to man in the past century are now in the rise in many professional sectors. The shift in public awareness of female image and capability is also being manifested recently by a new fashion style named New Women Power Dressing. Comparing the so-called new power dressing style with the female yuppie fashion of the 80s known to have marked the beginning of female power dressing, this study aims to define the uniqueness of women power dressing style of today, reanalyze the fashion style of today in reference to its predecessors and predict new fashion trend for the futurr. As a conclusion, both of the female yuppie style of the 80s and the new power dressing trend of the 2000s were found to stress manliness and showoff. Such characteristics were expressed in terms of focuses on both fitness and fashion style. However, the female yuppie look of the 80s and its successor of the 2000s showed significant difference in what they were intended to signify internally and how they were displayed externally.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the cases of IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde to discuss power dressing characteristics represented in the fashion style of women political leaders. Study methods included literature reviews on the theoretical background of Christine Lagarde's Political Leadership formation and the power dressing of women political leaders. The results of the study were as follows. First, governor Christine Lagarde's fashion styles worn at formal events were summarized into suits, bags, scarves and jewelry. Clothing type was found to be 98% suits, 5% dress with the colors black, gray and white being worn the most, 84% were achromatic, blue tones and vivid tones were about 16%. Faborite accessories included scarves, jewelry and luxury bags. Scarves were higher frequency utilization at 51% of the total wear. Second, characteristics of power-dressing appearring as fashion styles were summarized as wealthy, honorable, having political power, being, charismatic or, feminine. Luxury suite luxury brands holds a sense of power with many believing they wealth, honor and charisma. Luxury bags, V-zone ornaments of scarves and, jewelry are items of power that people often wear in order to charisma and a symbol of power. They are also, used as an important element in portraying confidence and leadership as IMF governors.

The purpose of this study was to find out problems which occured between clothes and motor ability traits of the hemiplegic aged. The samples were 32 hemiplegic aged men and were compared with 43 healthy aged men. Motor ability of the samples were measured by ROM test, muscle power test and finger function test(grip strength, hand's coordination, lateral pinch, 3pt. pinch). Design of the clothes consisted of 25 variables and the analysis of dressing and undressing motion consist of 10 motions of dressing and undressing dress shirts and 8 motions of trousers. The results were as follows: 1. There were significant relationship between ROM and muscle power and finger function of the hemiplegic aged(P<.001). 2. There were significant differences between the nomal side's finger function of the hemiplegic aged and that of the healthy group(P<.001). 3. The designs of clothes such as tutle neck line, long sleeve, button cuffs, fastening lace, open zipper and belt of trousers gave much difficulty to the hemiplegic when dressing and undressing. 4. The most difficult motion of dressing and undressing was fastening when dressing both dress shirts and trousers. 5. There were partly significant relationship between design of clothes and ROM, muscle power, finger function of hemiplegic aged man. 6. There were partly significant relationship between the degree of difficulty in dressing and undressing motions and ROM, muscle power, finger function of hemiplegic aged man.

Electrolytic in-process dressing (ELID) grinding is a new technique for achieving a nanoscale surface finish on hard and brittle materials such as optical glass and ceramics. This process applies an electrochemical dressing on the metal-bonded diamond wheels to ensure constant protrusion of sharp cutting grits throughout the grinding cycle. In conventional ELID grinding, a constant source of pulsed DC power is supplied to the ELID cell, but a feedback mechanism is necessary to control the dressing power and obtain better performance. In this study, we propose a new closed-loop wheel dressing technique for grinding wheel truing that addresses the efficient correction of eccentric wheel rotation and the nonuniformity in the grinding wheel profile. The technique relies on an iterative control algorithm for the ELID power supply. An inductive sensor is used to measure the wheel profile based on the gap between the sensor head and wheel edge, and this is used as the feedback signal to control the pulse width of the power supply. We discuss the detailed mathematical design of the control algorithm and provide simulation results that were confirmed experimentally.

A diamond grinding wheel is generally used to grind hard and brittle materials, such as advanced ceramics. It is, however, quite difficult to dress a diamond grinding wheel efficiently because of its high degree of hardness. In this study, some investigations are carried out to increase dressing efficiecy of resinoid bonded diamond grinding wheel. Dressing forces are measured over a wide range of dressing conditions, and SEM observation of a grinding wheel is carried out. Special attention is paid to comparison between stick method and rotary brake method. Results obtained in this study provide useful information determining reguired dressing time, and for choosing efficient dressing condition for diamond grinding wheel.

The dressing time monitoring in cylindrical grinding is very important with respect to machining efficiency. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to determine the wheel life by monitoring behavior of grinding power for Wa, 19A and GC. For this purpose, we investigated indirectly the attritious wear of grain edge, the loading of grinding wheel and the breakage of grain through the grinding power and the surface roughness under various grinding conditions. From obtained the results, the relationship between the wheel life and the average sectional chip area is examined to guide for the determination of dressing time.

Electrolytic In-Process Dressing grinding technique which enables application of metal bond wheels with fine superabrasives in mirror surface grinding operations has developed. This paper provides charateristic evaluation of power supply supply that we developed and general charateristics of ELID grinding. The electric behaviors are compared each about two different electrode which has 1/4, 1/6 the area of entire wheel surface, and two different fluids which has 1:50, 1:30 the quantity of water was used to dillute grinding fluids. The results show that ELID grinding method is useful for mirror surface machining.

Stolen and rhizome are used as planting material fur sod production in hybrid types of bermudagrass. The new technology of Leaves and Stems Dressing (LSD) uses leaves and stems collected from mowing for sod production and turf establishment. The procedure of Leaf and Stem Dressing is as follows; 1) Collection of leaves and stems of bermudagrass using rotary mower with bucket. 2) Preparation of turf bed. 3) Dressing of leaves and stems of bermudagrass by man power or spray machine. 4) first irrigation. 5) Topdressing with sand or rotary with tractor. 6) Final irrigation.
