  • This study try to attempt to manage on-line system of land cadastral by computing land registration information, for application to computerized cadastral work through Geo-Spatial Information System. And also, in order to consult D/B of cadastral information, cadastral non-coincidence area uncapable to D/B when land-survey, taking advantage of GSIS drawing made by the present condition drawing and the aerial photograph survey by general survey, makes actual cadastral control point by some selected investigators. And so, it can be compared and analysed by the result of the present survey and, through the interpretation of the relatives, it aims to improve the precision of survey technique in consulting cadastral information D/B in the future.

  • To make practical application of the MR image for stereotactic radiosurgery, the target point-achieved by acquisition of MR image in stereotactic radiosurgery planning system must agree with the actual isocenter of irradiation in real treatment. And the amount of distortion of the MR image must be known to make a correction for the agreement. A radish containing abundant water content was chosen as a homogeneous phantom for the purpose of verification of the agreement in this experiment. A dosimetric film was firmly attached to the small specially fabricated acryl plate and needle puncture was made through the film just into the acryl plate and a drop of oil was dropped into the hole of the film. The acryl plate with film was inserted into the radish and the dorp of oil represented the target point in MR image. After the image acquisition by stereotatic radiosurgery planning system, we achieved stereotactic coordinate of the target point represented by the oil drop. And we proceeded to actual irradiation to the target point according to the procedure of stereotactic radiosurgery. After the irradiation, the film in the radish was developed and processed and the degree of coincidence between the center of the radiation distribution and the target point represented by the hole in the film was measured. The discrepancy between two points was under 0.5 mm. so we could confirm good coincidence in homogeneous phantom such as radish. On the other hand, authors tried to use our home-made device for estimation of distortion of MR image.

  • This paper deals with the experiment to obtain quantitative information about conditions of the interface between a water drop and surrounding oil. Velocity distributions in very close region of the interface are measured by introducing a new illumination technique and a telecentric lens. It enables precise measurements of velocity distributions in the close region to the interface. Although the measured velocity distributions exhibit strong influence from the solid wall of an experimental tube, the coincidence of inner and outside velocities on the interface is clearly confirmed for the clean interface. The shearing stresses on the interface, which are proportional to the velocity gradient normal to the interface, clearly show conditions of contaminated interface, which can be divided into two parts. From front stagnation point to somewhere near a separation point, the distribution of shearing stresses is well coincide with that of the Hadamard's analytical solution, while the distribution on the latter part of the interface sows quite different feature, which is supposed to be strongly influenced by contamination of the surface.

  • We propose a mathematical model which describes the walking behavior of a person and to analyze the effect of the personality on the dynamics of the crowd. The fundamental assumption is that the human behavior is not a random process but a deterministic process with several basic mechanisms and each fundamental mechanism is common and only the parameter is different from person to person. The proposed model is based on the servomechanism which drives a person along the planned path from point to point. This model has been applied to simulate the walks of people in a crowd and the simulated results have a good coincidence with actual measurement.

  • In this paper, we study the third order ordinary differential equation : $$x'(t)=f(t,x(t),x'(t),x'(t)),t{\in}(0,1)$$ subject to the boundary value conditions: $$x'(0)=x'(\xi),x'(1)=^{m-3}{\Sigma}_{i=1}{{\beta}x'({\eta}i),x'(1)=0}$$. Here ${\beta}_{i}{\in}R,\;^{m-3}{\Sigma}_{i=1}\;{\beta}_{i}\;=\;1,\;0<{\eta}_1<{\eta}_2<{\cdots}<{\eta}_{m-3}<1,\;0<\xi<1$. This is the case dimKer L = 2. When the ${\beta}_i$ have different signs, we prove some existence results for the m-point boundary value problem at resonance by use of the coincidence degree theory of Mawhin [12, 13]. Since all the existence results obtained in previous papers are for the case dimKerL = 1, our work is new.

  • A general common fixed point theorem for two pairs of weakly compatible mappings using an implicit function is proved without any continuity requirement which generalizes the result due to Popa [20, Theorem 3]. In process, several previously known results due to Fisher, Kannan, Jeong and Rhoades, Imdad and Ali, Imdad and Khan, Khan, Shahzad and others are derived as special cases. Some related results and illustrative examples are also discussed. As an application of our main result, we prove an existence theorem for the solution of simultaneous Hammerstein type integral equations.

  • The concept of interval-valued (${\alpha},{\beta}$)-fuzzy ideals, interval-valued (${\alpha},{\beta}$)-fuzzy generalized bi-ideals are introduced in LA-semigroups, using the ideas of belonging and quasi-coincidence of an interval-valued fuzzy point with an interval-valued fuzzy set and some related properties are investigated. We define the lower and upper parts of interval-valued fuzzy subsets of an LA-semigroup. Regular LA-semigroups are characterized by the properties of the lower part of interval-valued (${\in},{\in}{\vee}q$)-fuzzy left ideals, interval-valued (${\in},{\in}{\vee}q$)-fuzzy quasi-ideals and interval-valued (${\in},{\in}{\vee}q$)-fuzzy generalized bi-ideals. • Applications of the classical Knaster-Kuratowski-Mazurkiewicz (si-mply, KKM) theorem and the fixed point theory of multifunctions defined on convex subsets of topological vector spaces have been greatly improved by adopting the concept of convex spaces due to Lassonde [L1]. In this direction, the first author [P5] found that certain coincidence theorems on a large class of composites of upper semicontinuous multifunctions imply many fundamental results in the KKM theory.

  • The concept of quasi-coincidence of interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy point with an interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy set is considered. By using this idea, the notion of interval valued (α, β)-intuitionistic fuzzy bi-ideals, (1,2)ideals in a semigroup introduced and consequently, a generalization of interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy bi-ideals and intuitionistic fuzzy bi-ideals is defined. In this paper, we study the related properties of the interval valued (α, β)-intuitionistic fuzzy bi-ideals, (1,2) ideals and in particular, an interval valued (Є, Є ∨q)-fuzzy bi-ideals and (1,2) ideals in semigroups will be investigated.

  • Let (X, D; ${\Gamma}$) be a G-convex space and Y a Hausdorff space. Then $U^K_C$(X, Y) ${\subset}$ KD(X, Y), where $U^K_C$ is an admissible class (dup to Park) and KD denotes the class of multimaps having the KKM property for open-valued multimaps. This new result is used to obtain a KKM type theorem, matching theorems, a fixed point theorem, and a coincidence theorem.
