웨어러블 디바이스의 소비자 선호 속성에 관한 연구: 예지적 표준화 활동을 반영한 컨조인트 분석 (A Study on Consumer Preferences for Attributes of Wearable Devices: A Conjoint Analysis Reflecting Anticipatory Standardization Activities)

  • 웨어러블 디바이스를 둘러싼 기업 간 경쟁이 치열해 짐에 따라, 소비자들의 수용성을 제고할 수 있는 기술기획이 필요한 상황이다. 이에 본 연구는 웨어러블 디바이스의 소비자 선호 속성을 파악함으로써 이 분야 기술기획을 위한 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다. 이를 위한 분석 방법으로는 컨조인트 분석을 활용하였다. 이 과정에서 초점집단면점을 주로 사용한 기존 연구들과는 달리 표준화 기구의 예지적 표준화 활동을 반영함으로써 분석의 객관성을 보완하고자 하였다. 예지적 표준화 활동으로는 국제전기기술위원회의 리에종 및 프로젝트 현황을 조사하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 컨조인트 분석을 설계하였다. 컨조인트 설문은 온라인으로 진행하여, 총 229명이 응답하였다. 분석 결과, 웨어러블 디바이스의 주용도와 강화된 기능이 중요한 속성으로 파악된 가운데, 속성 수준별 세부 선호도는 소비자 성별, 연령대별 다르게 나타났다. 따라서 웨어러블 디바이스의 기술기획 시에는 소비자 세그멘트별 차별화된 접근이 필요할 것으로 예상된다.

가정간편식의 제품속성에 대한 인식차이: 대학생들과 소비자를 중심으로 (Different Perception on Product Attributes of HMR: Focusing on College Students and Consumers)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to investigate the difference in the degree of significance and satisfaction perceived by college students and ordinary consumers on the HMR product attributes. Comparison of the difference on HMR product attributes between ordinary consumers and college students who belong to the current and future consumption groups of HMR will provide information for clear marketing strategies and PR on target consumers from the aspects of companies. Also, overall difference on HMR was investigated through IPA(importance-performance analysis) on significance and satisfaction with each product attribute. This result will provide information to food companies that produce or supply HMR products to be supplemented and improved. Finally, IPA was conducted between groups on product attribute to find which difference exists between groups. This result is also expected to provide crucial information to companies as suggested in the first purpose. Research design, data, and methodology - The procedure of analysis is as follows. First, independent sample t-test was conducted on the significance and satisfaction on HMR product attributes. Second, with using IPA, the significance and satisfaction on HMR product attributes of the respondents were checked to investigate marketing strategy direction on overall HRM products. Third, the difference between generations was verified using IPA on the college student and consumer groups. According to this result, the direction of marketing strategy on HRM products was to be proposed to food companies. Results - It was known that consumers consider HMR product attributes statistically and significantly such as nutrient content(nutrition), country of origin, brand, main raw material, packaging, and awareness of manufacturer. They keep after purchase more importantly than college students who considered only volume and price than consumers. In comparison with the difference in satisfaction on HMR product attributes, the college student group was more satisfied than ordinary consumers only in flavor, condition of food additives, and volume. Also, HMR related food companies must maintain taste, cooking method, manufacturing date, expiration date, and safety on current products continuously. Finally, as a result of analysis from the groups, the attributes such as cooking method, manufacturing date, expiration date, and safety were considered significantly with high achievement by the two groups. It was known that college students considered food texture to be important, but consumers considered storage method to be important after purchasing it. Conclusions - There is necessity to differentiate effectiveness of products when releasing HMR products subject to consumers and college students. The result will give great assistance to the improvement of companies, produce or supply HMR products. It will also provide entry strategies on target groups of companies that are planning for entry. The factors that consumers commonly considered not to be significant were brand, package form(appearance), cooking time, and sale(purchase) location, which were found in the comparison with the groups that awareness about manufacturers and storage method after purchase corresponded to college students and that distribution route corresponded to ordinary consumers.

  • It is necessary to construct an effective regional information system in facing the incoming information intensive society. Many local government in Korea began to recognize a need for constructing a GIS(Geographic Information System) and they are planning to construct GIS´s to improve their administrative efficiency. However, ti requires high-priced hardware, software, and an experienced operator to sue a GIS effectively. The purpose of this study is to develop the GIS program which can be sued with ease by common users. By developing a GIS functioned program using a coordinate recognition module by application of geo-spatial data, and a digital map which is already made, this program can be used efficiently only by only inputting attributes without high-priced hardware and software, and can be utilized easily to every purposes of work with geo-spatial data and attributes. MapObjects, mapping and GIS component, was employed to use geo-spatial data, and Access 97 from Microsoft to manage and attributes database. Visual Basic, objected-oriented language, was used to develop an application program. Results of this study were applied to constructing the Information system of Kanwon National University. This program could be used for various purposed by common users without additional hardware and software.

  • 본 논문은 대규모 데이터베이스에서 의사 결정을 위한 지식을 효율적으로 추출하기 위해 개념 상승과 속성 감축에 기반한 통합적 방법을 제안한다. 본 방법은 클리스터링 기법에 의해 개념 트리를 자동생성하고 개념 상승기법에 의해 데이터 베이스를 일반화하며 속성의 중요도를 사용한 속성 감축에 의해 최적감축을 하고 식별가능 행렬과 함수를 사용하여 효율적으로 속성값을 감축하여 최적의 최소결정 규칙을 유도한다. 본 방법은 투자 계획이나 가격 결정과 같은 의사결정 업무 각종 고장 진단이나 의료 진단을 위한 지식 베이스구축 마케팅 분석이나 실험 데이터 분석 고수준의 질의 에 의한 정보검색 등에 효과적으로 사용될수 있다.

  • This paper describes a new process-plan selection method using a modified Fuzzy Quantification Theory(FQT). The problem for process-plan selection can be characterized by multiple attributes and used subjective, uncertain information. Fuzzy Quantification Theory is used for handling such informations because it is a useful tool when human judgment or evaluation is quantified via linguistic variables and the proposed method is concerned with the selection of a process plan by derivation of the values of categories for each attribute. In this paper, a modified Fuzzy Quantification Theory(FQT) is described and the procedure of this approach is explained and examples are illustrated.

보건간호사의 건강증진 역량(competence)에 대한 개념 분석 (Concept Analysis of Health Promotion Competence in Public Health Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to define and clarify the concept of health promotion 'competence' in public health nurses (PHNs). Methods: A hybrid model was used to develop the concept of competence. The model included a field study carried out in Seoul, Korea. The participants in this study were 20 PHNs who were working in the health promotion area. Results: The concept of health promotion competence was found to be a complex phenomenon having a meaning in two dimensions: personal-relationship and environmental-relationship. Four attributes and eight indicators were defined. Conclusion: Health promotion competence was defined as the ability to have understanding and flexibility in practicing (personal-relationship dimension) and to have capacity for uniqueness and leadership in planning (environmental-relationship dimension). Therefore, PHNs who work in the health promotion area should be equipped with attributes and indicators of health promotion competence to enhance their competence in health promotion.

만성질환자의 건강행위 실천을 위한 의지(volition)에 대한 개념분석 (Concept Analysis of Volition for Health Behavior Practice in Patients with Chronic Disease)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to define and clarify the concept of volition for health behavior. Methods: For this study the process of Walker & Avant's concept analysis was used. Seventeen studies from electronic data basses met criteria for selection. Results: Volition can be defined by the following attributes: 1) planning, 2) maintenance of self-efficacy, and 3) self regulation. The antecedents of volition consisted of: 1) risk awareness, 2) outcome expectation, 3) perceived self-efficacy, and 4) social support. The consequences occurring as a result of volition were: 1) prevention of disability and complications, 2) improvement of functional ability, and 3) enhencement of quailty of life. Conclusion: Definition and attributes of volition identified by this results can be applied to develop measurements and intervention programs for chronic patients health behavior.

고속도로 휴게소 시설의 평면계획에 관한 기초적 연구 - 부산~광주 간 고속도로를 중심으로 - (A Basic Study on the Floor Planning of the Expressway Service Facilities - Focused on Busan-Gwangju Expressway -)

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the actual conditions of the plan composition of expressway service facilities. This study investigated the characteristics of both indoor space and outdoor space of 15 service facilities, and then analyzed attributes of users by the plan type along with their perception on the facility usage. The results of this study are summarized as follows; 1) When analyzing the attributes of expressway service facilities users, 36% respondents said that they used the expressway service facilities just to rest. The average distance of using the service plaza was found to be approximately 67km. 2) In terms of the indoor space of the expressway service facilities, as basic patterns, B(R+C+T)-type(53%), A(C+R+T)-type(40%), C(C+T+R)-type(7%) were found in order, all the service facilities need to expand them.

A Genetic Algorithm for Solving a QFD(Quality Function Deployment) Optimization Problem

  • Determining the optimal levels of the technical attributes (TAs) of a product to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction is the main activity in the planning process for quality function deployment (QFD). In real applications, the number of customer requirements for developing a single product is quite large, and the number of converted TAs is also high so the size of the house of quality (HoQ) becomes huge. Furthermore, the TA levels are often discrete instead of continuous and the product market can be divided into several market segments corresponding to the number of HoQ, which also unacceptably increases the size of the QFD optimization problem and the time spent on making decisions. This paper proposed a genetic algorithm (GA) solution approach to finding the optimum set of TAs in QFD in the above situation. A numerical example is provided for illustrating the proposed approach. To assess the computational performance of the GA, tests were performed on problems of various sizes using a fractional factorial design.

Optimization of Earthwork Operation for Energy-saving using Discrete Event Simulation

  • considerate operation is a major issue in the equipment-intensive operation. Identifying an optimal equipment combination is important to achieve low-energy operations. An Earthwork operation planning system, which measures the energy consumption of construction operations by taking into account construction equipments' engineering attributes (e.g., weight, capacity, energy consumption rate, etc.) and operation conditions (e.g., road condition, attributes of materials to be moved, geometric information, etc.), is essential to achieve the low-energy consumption. This study develops an automated computerized system which identifies an optimal earthmoving equipment fleet minimizing the energy consumption. The system imports a standard template of earthmoving operation model and compares numerous scenarios using alternative equipment allocation plans. It finds the fleet that minimizes the energy consumption by enumerating all cases using sensitivity analysis. A case study is presented to verify the validity of the system.
