  • This paper aimed to estimate Heonhwa-ga(獻花歌) background place, Hae-ga(海歌) background place based on the Heonhwa-ga background narrative, The main results are as follows. 1) Heonhwa-ga background place is judged as the area of the rock cliff and its suburbs in Golgok-po(Jigyeong-cheon Bugyeong-ri Namjeong-myeon, Yeongdeog county). 2) Hae-ga background place is judged as the area of the Weolsong-jeong in Uljin county, which is located in two day's distance(about 60km) from Heonhwa-ga background place. 3) Some local governments tend to estimate Heonhwa-ga background place, Hae-ga background place from the viewpoint of place marketing. So such judgement of those local governments is not persuasive.

Development of Web-Based Experiments for Undergraduate Mechatronics Education

  • In engineering education practical experiments is very important for each student, but due to the limitation of time and available resources such as laboratory equipment, space and instructors enough hands-on real experiments could not be provided to all students enrolled in the program throughout the academic year. In this sense web-based remote experiments through internet become a solution for engineering education and an emerging new paradigm for students and teachers. This paper presents the development of the web-based remote vibration experiment system for mechatronics education. Students can access this experimental equipment through an internet and conduct vibration experiment remotely without any restriction on time and place. IP address for data communication and web-service are assigned in local computer and then students receive experimental results and the captured pictures using network. The developed system provides real-time feedback of the tested results. Ubiquitous access to the system gained popularity from students.

Research on Adoption and Preference of 5G using Learning Service (5G 교육 서비스의 채택과 선호에 관한 연구: 대학생을 중심으로)

  • This study commercialization of 5G will enable transformation of university education. This study identifies five attributes (device type, learning place, learning content, learning field and expense payment) and corresponding levels to study the impact of 5G in the future of university education. The attributes and the levels are then combined into few 5G education service alternatives for respondents to rank. 102 students ranked the alternatives based on their preferences and intent to use. Results indicate that the intent to use 5G-based education service was high with 86% and the most important factor was expense payment (37%), followed by learning field (26%), learning content (24%), device type (8%) and learning place (5%). Specifically, students preferred smart device, practical and experiential content, ubiquitous (no limitation of space and time) learning, practical education and free rate when adopting 5G-based education service. These will provide implications to accelerate adoption of and exploitation of 5G for innovating university education.

  • In the era of the 4th industrial revolution represented by AI technology, various AI education is being conducted in the education field. However, AI education in the educational field is mostly one-off project education or teacher-centered education. In order to practice student-centered, field-oriented education, an artificial intelligence education program was developed based on design thinking. The AI education program based on design thinking will improve understanding and ability to use AI through the process of solving everyday problems with AI, and will develop the ability to create new values beyond understanding AI. It is expected that various AI education will take place in the educational field through design thinking-based artificial intelligence education programs.

  • The purpose of this study aims at analyzing the profit from manage a fishing place in the cultivating fishery by embankment. With the spread of the living pattern laying stress on the quality of life and the introduction of a 5-day workweek system, demand for tourism and leisure are increasing steadily and available time for them is getting longer. However, those newly-increasing demands for tourism and leisure will have a tendency of focusing on adventurous and experiential activities. From the point of view, it is needed to develop something new that can meet those kinds of demands for an experiential tourism and activity, particularly based on the cultivating fishery by embark a bay. Marine recreational fishing is one of the most popular outdoor leisures and the number of people who are participating is sharply increasing more and more because of the increasement of their income and demand for marine leisure. In this regard, this paper is focused on the economic analysis a fishing place in the cultivating fishery by embankment. According to the analysis result, the cultivating fishery by embankment is a profitable business operating fishing place in their place.

  • We have known that ethno-mathematics is a field of a study that emphasizes the socio-cultural environment in which a person "does" mathematics as stated by D'Ambrosio(Ethno mathematics and its Place in the History and Pedagogy of Mathematics, 1985). Measurement is an important mathematical topic, which leads students to relate math to the eal-world applications, particularly with socio-cultural aspects. The purpose of this article is to review the history of the measurement system in Korea briefly and to adapt the measurement system into real-world problems so that children acquire measurement knowledge in the most natural way.

  • According to the fast supply of the SMART device, many people have a lot of interests about SMART education. The Korean government is showing a lot of effort towards the promotion of SMART education. In this study, I developed a behavioral assessments and QR code based mobile web application for school education. The developed system works seamlessly across all popular mobile device platforms and if you save the data after the assessment, this system will automatically create each person's mobile web page. Students and teachers can add comments to this page and can improve the accessibility for finding the address of this page to QR code. The developed system can contribute to the class members understanding the personality of each other and make communication run smoothly. As a result of application of developed system, it is expected to contribute to increasing the interaction between a students, parents and teachers because the developed system provides a service based to education consumer's TPO(Time, Place, Occasion).

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate consumer behavior based on the experience from visiting Jeonju Hanok Village. This study tested the relationship between the experience and intention to revisit for consumers who visited the village mediated by emotion and place attachment as a structural equation model. The results of this study were as follows. First, the perceived emotion was found to be significantly influenced by experience. Consumers were likely to feel positive emotions if their experiences of entertainment, escapism, and esthetics were positive. Second, the place attachment was found to be significantly influenced by experience. If consumers perceived positive experience of education and escapism, then they would like to be attached to the place where they experienced such positive experience. Finally, the intention to revisit was found to be significantly influenced by the emotion and the place attachment. If positive emotion and place attachment were well-established through consumer experience, then consumers would like to increase the intention to revisit the place.

The Place of Articulation of Korean Affricates Observed in LPC Spectra

  • This paper attempts to acoustically examine the place of articulation of Korean affricates. In order to pursue an acoustic analysis of where Korean affricates are articulated, we resort to LPC spectra of the Korean plain affricate /c/ in intervocalic position, based on theoretical assumptions (e.g., Stevens 1993a), and compare the data to that of the Korean alveolar consonants /t, s/ in the same context. Our phonetic results show that in intervocalic position, the Korean plain affricate is alveolar just like the Korean alveolar consonants /t, s/, supporting the articulatory studies of $Skali{\check{c}}kov{\acute{a}}$ (1960) and Kim (1997).

Development of a C-Language Learning Tool using Console Wrapper (Console Wrapper를 활용한 C언어 학습도구 개발)

  • The majority of programming education in the learning place attaches importance more to grammar, memorization of the imperative sentence and explanation of the program language itself than the specific way to use the target language. In addition, it is mainly used to teach theoretical knowledge based on the text. Consequently, current programming education has not interested learners in the programming learning and has not improved their ability in programming problems of the real world. We therefore developed a learning tool of C-language, which is based on the Console Wrapper. The purpose of proposing the learning tool was to make the programming education break from the typical theoretical learning and to let learners be interested in the programming education. By using the dynamic screen instead of the static console screen, the learners could enjoy learning the program. As a result of this study, we could know that the programming education using our learning tool is more effective than the typical C language programming education.
