핀치형 내부로터의 제로터 설계 (Design of Gerotor with Pin-tooth Inner Rotor)

  • In the conventional gerotor design, the circular arc tooth of the outer rotor is first introduced, and then the inner rotor profile is generated by simulating the outer rotor motion while the inner rotor is fixed. The profile generation of tooth meshing exhibits relativity; therefore, the outer rotor profile can be generated by the movement of the inner rotor. In this study, we propose the design of a gerotor with a pin-tooth inner rotor. First, the pin-tooth inner rotor is devised, and then the outer rotor profile is generated. The profile of the inner rotor is simply composed of equally arranged pins along a circle. The root of the inner rotor is designed as a conjugated arc of two pins. The trajectory of the pin center is obtained by the inner rotor operation, and then the outer rotor profile is determined as a parallel curve of the trajectory. In this gerotor design, the inner rotor has a simple configuration, and contact occurs between the pin parts of the inner rotor and the whole profile of the outer rotor. This affects the material selection and machining process. The pin tooth can be used to design the outer and inner rotors, enabling a double gerotor mechanism corresponding to a planetary gear system.

B.T.Pin을 이용한 치형부품의 측면 냉간성형공법 개발 (Development of Side Forming Technology for the Tooth Part Using B.T.Pin in Cold Forming Process)

  • In this study, the method of process design for side forming of a tooth part used for a component of automobile transmission was suggested using FE-simulations. To develop the side forming for the tooth part, in this paper, the shape factors of B.T.Pin was considered as design parameters. The shape factors of B.T.Pin were selected to be the round of pin, reinforced angle and reinforced length. Based on FE simulation results, appropriate shape factor without causing any defects was selected. In addition, to increase the strength of pin, the combination of shape factor having minimum stress after side forming was selected using FE-simulation. In addition, with design of a die set, cold side forming of the tooth part was experimented to estimate effectiveness of the designed B.T.Pin. From experiments, it was found that the tooth part with complete formation of the tooth was obtained without making any forming defects and punch fracture.

직선이송용 Pin-Pinion Gear의 최적 치형에 대한 연구 (A Study on Optimum Tooth Profile of Pin-Pinion Gear for Linear Motion)

  • In this study, designing of precise linear transferring device which can be applied to industrial machine and robot industry has been introduced. The direction of power flow and output feature are similar to current Rack-Pinion type. However, unlimited length extensity via rack modulizing, and securing high velocity transportation have been realized by applying Pin-Pinion Gear type at the operation part. The analysis has been calculated to obtain the Pin-Pinion Gear's optimized tooth profile. As a result of research, it is impossible to control precisely even overlap at the teeth of involute and sprocket. Because they have peculiar gearing structure. Therefore, modified cycloid tooth has been proposed to perform high velocity, precise control without backlash.

  • 본 논문에서는 산업기계 및 로봇산업에 적용할 수 있는 직선 정밀 이송 장치의 구동부를 설계하였다. 동력의 전달방향 및 출력특성은 기존의 Rack-Pinion 타입과 유사하나 구동부에 대하여 새로운 Pin-Pinion Gear 타입을 적용시켜 랙 모듈화를 통한 무한 길이 확장성을 구현하고 고속이송 및 설치의 편의성을 확보할 수 있으며 이러한 Pin-Pinion Gear의 최적물림을 위한 Cycloid 치형 해석을 하였다. 그 결과 Cycloid 치형으로 설계시 핀과 피니언 기어의 백래쉬 및 물림 특성이 적합하여 정밀제어가 가능한 치형으로 분석되었다.

유한요소해석에 의한 플라스틱 스퍼기어의 내구성 향상방안 연구 (On a Method for the Durability Enhancement of Plastic Spur Gear Using Finite Element Analysis)

  • Stress patterns are created in the plastic spur gear tooth body by introducing a hole or a steel pin to improve stress distribution. Static analysis using finite element method is carried out to show the effect. The result shows that maximum stress as well as tooth tip displacement is dependent on the size and location of a hole or a steel pin. When a hole located on the tooth center line, the maximum static stress level and the tooth tip deflection is always higher than that of a solid gear. But, a considerable reduction in the maximum stress and tooth tip displacement is achieved by insertion of steel pin.

의치온성시 발생하는 교합 및 수직고경 변화에 관한 실험적 연구 (AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON OCCLUSAL AND VERTICAL CHANGES AFTER DENTURE PROCESSING)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the amount of the vertical pin opening of $33^{\circ}$ resin and $0^{\circ}$ resin teeth during processing and to determine whether the changes in tooth contacts by using articulation ribbon and T-Scan system follow any identifiable pattern, and to determine if there is any correlation between the changes in tooth contacts and the amount of the vertical pin opening after processing. Through statistical analyses on the data from this study, the following conclusions were obtained. 1. The amounts of the vertical pin opening were 0.78m, 0.87mm for $0^{\circ}$ teeth and $33^{\circ}$ teeth, respectively. But there was no significant difference between them. 2. The total number of contact points recorded by articulating ribbon after processing was decreased to 442.5% of that before processing. 3. The mean values for the number of contact points per tooth recorded by articulating ribbon after processing were 4.3 for the second molar, 3.8 for the first molar, 1.3 for the second premolar, 0.8 for the first premolar. The reduction of contact points per tooth became greater moving in an anterior direction. 4. The correlation between the reduction of contact points and the amount of the pin opening after processing was not significant. 5. The mean values for the numbers of contact points per tooth recorded by T-Scan system after processing were 2.2, 2.5, 1.0, and 0.5 at the second molar, the first molar, the second premolar, and the first premolar, respectively. 6. The correlation between the number of contact points by using articulating ribbon and TScan system after processing was not significant.

$Bio-pin^{(R)}$을 이용한 고정성 보철물의 탈락저항강도의 비교연구 (A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF THE RESISTANCE TO DISLODGEMENT OF FIXED PROSTHESES USING $BIO-PIN^{(R)}$)

  • Statement of problem. The current trend in prosthodontics is the adoption of a conservative approach to preparing dental prostheses by minimizing the amount of sound tooth structure removal during preparation. Purpose. The major disadvantage of the adhesion bridge is the inherently poor resistance to dislodgement that its use in areas subjected to high occlusal load is limited. The purpose of this study was to compare the dislodgement resistance of $Bio-pin^{(R)}$, conventional 3-unit and adhesion bridges. Material and methods. The experimental groups were classified as follows : Group I : 3-unit bridge cemented using $Super-Bond^{(R)}$ C&B Group II : Adhesion bridge cemented using $Super-Bond^{(R)}$ C&B Group III : $Bio-pin^{(R)}$ design adhesion bridge without incorporation of $Bio-pin^{(R)}$ (cemented using $Super-Bond^{(R)}$ C&B) Group IV-1 : $Bio-pin^{(R)}$ retained adhesion bridge incorporating a single $Bio-pin^{(R)}$ (cemented using $Super-Bond^{(R)}$ C&B) Group IV-2 : $Bio-pin^{(R)}$ retained adhesion bridge incorporating a single $Bio-pin^{(R)}$ (cemented using $Panavia^{(R)}$ F) Group V : $Bio-pin^{(R)}$ retained adhesion bridge incorporating two $Bio-pins^{(R)}$ (cemented using $Super-Bond^{(R)}$ C&B) Results. The results of this study were as follows : 1. Significant differences in dislodgement resistance of the restorations were found between Group I, Group II and Group III (p<0.05). No significant differences in dislodgement resistance of the restorations were observed between Group I Group IV-1 and Group V. However, there were significant differences in dislodgement resistance between Group II and the other groups (p<0.05). 2. No significant differences in dislodgement resistance of the restorations were observed between GroupIV-1 and GroupIV-2, both of which utilized a single $Bio-pin^{(R)}$. However, significant differences were observed when Group III was compared to either GroupIV-1 or Group V (p<0.05). 3. No significant differences in dislodgement resistance relative to the type of dental cements used were found. Conclusion. From the above results, it is concluded that the dislodgement resistance of $Bio-pin^{(R)}$ bridge restorations utilizing a single $Bio-pin^{(R)}$ is similar to that of a conventional 3-unit bridge. The results also suggest that $Bio-pin^{(R)}$ bridge restorations using a single $Bio-pin^{(R)}$ are a viable alternative to the conventional 3-unit bridge when minimal removal of sound tooth structure and fulfillment of both function and esthetic aspects are considered.

유연핀을 적용한 2.5MW급 풍력발전기용 기어박스의 동응답 해석 (Dynamic Response Analysis of 2.5MW Wind Turbine Gearbox with Flexible Pins)

  • 본 연구는 2.5MW급 풍력발전기용 기어박스의 동특성 분석에 관한 것으로서, 유연핀(flexible pin) 채용에 따른 유성기어축의 미스얼라인먼트(misalignment) 개선여부와 충격하중에 따른 기어박스의 동응답 특성을 유한요소해석을 통해 고찰하였다. 내부의 복잡한 기어시스템의 하중전달을 정확하게 그리고 효과적으로 반영하기 위해 치접촉을 등가 치강성계수를 갖는 스프링요소와 물림률을 이용하여 모델링하였다. 기어의 등가 치강성계수는 기어치에 대한 변형해석을 통해 계산하였으며, 동특성 분석을 위해 기어박스 입력단에 충격 토오크를 부과하였다. 수치실험을 통해 등가 치강성모델의 타당성을 검증하였으며, 양단 그리고 일단 고정축과의 상대 비교를 통해 유연핀 적용에 따른 유성기어축의 미스얼라인먼트 개선여부를 확인할 수 있었다.

사이크로이드 치형을 이용한 하모닉 감속기의 개발 (Development of harmonic drive using cycloide tooth profile)

  • Due to progress in manufacturing techniques, the performance of the harmonic drive has been improved but not sufficiently. One of the important problems which the current harmonic drive has is that while there is the potential for having a wider tooth contact area, the total number of teeth engaged simultaneously is still small. This is mainly due to the involute tooth profile. Hence, in this study, the cycloid-type tooth profile is developed to improve this problem. This paper represents the design methodology and performance evaluation f the cycloid-type harmonic drive. Cycloide tooth profile was derived by analyzing geometry of the tooth engagement and the contact mechanisms of the tooth which were examined and analyzed by load analysis. The stress due to elastic deformation of a flexspline was also obtained by approximate formula and computer analysis. Finally, the cycloid-type harmonic drive with 1:100 speed ratio was manufactured and the performance of the harmonic drive was evaluated.

총의치 온성방법에 따른 교합 및 수직 고경의 변화 (OCCLUSION AND VERTICAL DIMENSION CHANGES ACCORDING TO DENTURE PROCESSING TECHNIQUES)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the amount of the vertical pin opening of dentures processed by the conventional compression method & the injection-processing method. The articulating ribbon and T-Scan system were used to determine the changes in tooth contacts and the correlation between the changes in tooth contacts and the amount of the vertical pin opening after processing was analyzed statistically. The obtained results were as follows. 1. The amounts of the vertical pin opening were 0.75mm, 0.31mm for conventional compression method and injection-pressing method, respectively. The difference between the two methods was highly significant on the basis of t test statistics(p<0.05). 2. The total number of contact points recorded by articulating ribbon after processing was decreased to 48%, 72%, of that before processing for conventional compression method and injection-pressing method, by T-Scan system, 39%, 53%, respectively. 3. The mean values for the number of contacts points per tooth recorded by articulating ribbon after processing were 1.6 for the second molar, 2.2 for the first moalr, 0.4 for the second premolar, 0.6 for the first premolar in conventional compression method, and 2, 3.2, 1.2, 0.8 in injection-pressing method. 4. The correlation between the reduction of contact points and the amount of the pin opening after processing was not significant. 5. The mean values for the number of contact points per tooth recorded by T-Scan system after processing were 1.25, 1.4, 0.7, and 0.55 at the second molar, the first molar, the second premolar, and the first premolar in conventional compression method, and 1.45, 2.1, 1.0, 0.75 in injection method, respectively. 6. The correlation between the number of contact points by using articulating ribbon and T-Scan system after processing was not significant in both methods.
