  • Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the need for the preparation of old age of dental hygienists and happy life. Methods: This study is a descriptive study. A self-reported questionnaire in Likert 5 scale was completed by the dental hygienists in Korea through online report or written report from December, 2012 to June, 2013. Except incomplete answers, 200 data were analyzed. The questionnaire consisted of 10 questions of preparation for old age and awareness for old ages, 9 questions of physical preparation, and 9 questions of emotional preparation. Cronbach's alpha of old age preparation and awareness of old age was 0.634 in the study. Cronbach's alpha was 0.709 and 0.757 in physical preparation and emotional preparation, respectively. The final analyses of 200 copies were conducted using SPSS 11.5 software for Windows(SPSS Inc., Chicago, lllinois, USA). Results: Awareness toward preparation for old age of dental hygienists was 3.72 points, physical preparation was 2.94 points, and emotional preparation was 2.91 points. Awareness toward preparation for old age of dental hygienists showed the relationship between birth date, marital status, education level, and subjective health condition. Physical preparation was closely related to birth date, marital status, education level, and the workplace. Emotional preparation was closely related to birth date, marital status, education level, and the workplace. Conclusions: This study suggested that preparation for old age of dental hygienists was very important and the preparation must be connected with the social welfare policy.

  • This study was a cross-sectional descriptive study of the effects of emotional happiness on aging preparation for 45-60 year olds. Participants of this study were 312 volunteers and data was collected online, the collection period was from May 15, 2018 to May 31, 2018. The tools used in the research were the emotional happiness developed by Watson et al (1988) et al., the aging preparation developed by JH Lee (2009). Analysis was done using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and regression by SPSS 18.0. As a result of the analysis, 84.0% of participants felt physically healthy and 89.8% felt mental health. The spouses of participants were physically 83.4% healthy and mentally 82.7% healthy. The correlation between emotional happiness, health cognition and aging preparation showed that physical health had a correlation with mental health (r = .482, p <0.01) and emotional happiness (r = .369, p <0.01), economic aging preparation (r = .411, p <0.01), social aging preparation (r = .119, p <0.01). Mental health was correlated with emotional happiness (r = .491, p <0.01), economic aging preparation (r = .411, p <0.01) and social aging preparation. Difference between emotional happiness and retirement preparation according to presence or absence of disease, emotional happiness (t = -4.503, p <0.01) and economic aging preparation (t = -4.960, p <0.01) were statistically significant. Emotional happiness affects the preparation of old age, emotional happiness affects to physical aging preparation under statistical significance (F=25.191, p<0.01), economic aging preparation (F=1131.783, p<0.01), and social aging preparation (F=147.672, p<0.01) which were sub components of aging preparation. Emotional happiness showed a 7.5% effect on the preparation of physical aging, 78.4% on economic aging preparation and 32.3% on social aging preparation. Based on the above results, it can be concluded that physical health and mental health are related to emotional happiness, economic aging preparation, and social aging preparation. And also these results can be inferred that the illness causes emotional less feeling of happiness and economic difficulty. Based on the results of this study, emotional well - being influences the retirement preparation significantly at statistical significance. Therefore, if the concept of emotional happiness is introduced to the old-age preparation program, it will be more client centered program.

METHODS: 58 subjects among physical therapymajor studentswere recruited. The group was constructed the fourgroupsbypreparation and review times. The firstgroup was less than 1hour, the second group wasmore than 1 hour ~ less than 2 hours, the third group was more than 2 hours ~ less than 3 hours, the fourth group was more than 3 hours that was preparation and reviewtimes. The students were performed GMFM evaluation capacity after they learned the normal motor development for 5 weeks and evaluation method. They continued the preparation and review learning about the lesson during 5 weeks. RESULTS: The group of more than 3 hours was the highest and next order was the group of more than 1 hour ~ less than 2 hours, group of less than 1hour on GMFM evaluation capacity. CONCLUSION: Preparation and review times improved the GMFM evaluation capacity of students. Therefore, Emphasizing the preparation and review of learning is proper way to increase the evaluation capacity. In addition, the professor should create the appropriate teaching strategies using preparation and review times to upgrade a learner's ability.

  • Polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) is an important inorganic-organic hybrid material with a three-dimensional structure. Polyurethane (PU) is a widely applied polymer that has versatile properties with the change of two phase structure. When POSS is incorporated into PU by physical or chemical methods, many properties can be greatly improved, such as mechanical properties, thermal stability, biodegradation resistance, and water resistance. This paper reviews the recent progress in preparation, structure, and performance of POSS-modified polyurethane from the viewpoint of physical blending and chemical modification.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the risk factors of the musculoskeletal workload of mid-old-age food preparation workers by identifying the differences in the complaints of subjective symptoms between mid-old-age housewives and mid-old-age food preparation workers. This study was carried out on a total of 83 subjects from April 2009 through July 2009: 43 food preparation workers at the catering department of general hospital A, with a high rate of mid-old-age food preparation staff, and 40 full-time housewives (40~59 years old). The analysis of the relationship between the rates of the subjective symptoms of the two groups showed that the mid-old-age food preparation workers had a 7.8-fold higher risk of developing musculoskeletal diseases than the full-time housewives. The musculoskeletal workload of the mid-old-age food preparation workers included repetitive motions, uncomfortable postures, and heavy lifting. It is hoped that this study will help provide mid-old-age people with opportunities for appropriate economic activity and labor and will help improve their work postures and methods as well as their environmental-risk factors.

  • The effect of sugars, mixing ratio between a sugar and ginseng extract, and moisture content on the physical properties of ginseng tea granules such as water sorption and coagulation phase were investigated The physical Properties of granule were significantly affected by the moisture cogent, a kind of sugars and amount of ginseng extract used in the preparation. The granules contained less than 1.0%moisture and 14.0% of ginseng extract were not affected on the properties, however, it was significantly affected when the moisture content was 1.5 ${\pm}$ 0. 2 % and the ginseng extract was more than 18%. In the preparation with simple sugar, it was significantly decreased water sorption and coagulation phase when lactose used instead of anhydrous glucose. It was also observed that the Properties were decreased as the amount of lactose increased in the preparation of granules with mixing sugars.
