Design of Memory Test Circuit for Sliding Diagonal Patterns (Sliding diagonal Pattern에 의한 Memory Test circuit 설계)

  • A concrete disign of memory circuit is presented aiming at the application of sliding diagonal test patterns. A modification of sliding diagonal test pattern includes the complexity reduction from O(n$^{32}$) to O(n) using parallel test memory concept. The control circuit design was based on delay-element, and verified via logic and circuit simulation. Area overhead was evaluated based on physical layout using a 0.7 micron design rule resulting in about 1% area increase for a typical 16Mbit DRAM.

  • Polyvalent nanoparticle-DNA conjugates exhibit a variety of unique features such as programmable assembly and disassembly, sharp melting transitons, intense optical properties, high stability, enhanced binding properties, and easy fabrication of the surface nature by chemical and physical modification. The unique properties of nanoparticle-DNA conjugates enable one to build up a number of versatile assay schemes for the detection of various targets. In addition, nanoparticle-RNA conjugates also demonstrate great promise of therapeutic applications in the context of RNA interference when combined with polymeric materials. In this presentation, representative examples of each aspect of nanoparticle-oligonucleotide conjugates will be discussed.

  • Since the first report on a successful method of correcting tricuspid atresia by Fontan and Baudet in 1971, several alternative surgical techniques have been described. Bjrk`s modification was performed three patients, 3, 8, and 9 years of age, in our Hanyang University Hospital. The diagnoses were tricuspid atresia type lb, tricuspid atresia type lib and d-TGA with huge VSD and valvular PS. None had previous palliative procedures. The patients were operated on with good results. The CVP after operation was 10-14 mmHg and early extubation was done. Postoperatively, none had peripheral edema or ascites. Postoperatively, all three were acyanotic and had improved physical capacity compared with their preoperative status.

  • A numerical method using dual time stepping and preconditioning procedure for efficient computations of unsteady low speed compressible flow problems is developed. The time-derivative preconditioning method which is valid at low speed flow conditions cannot maintain temporal accuracy because of the modification of the time-derivative term in Navier-Stokes equations. The dual time stepping procedure is incorporated to enable the time accurate computations and this procedure introduces a pseudo-time derivative in addition to the physical time derivative. At a given physical time, an inner iteration can be carried out until a steady state in pseudo-time is achieved. This will effectively yield a time accurate solution. Computational capabilities of the above algorithm are demonstrated through computation of a variety of practical fluid flows and it is shown that the algorithms is efficient in the essentially incompressible flows and low Mach number compressible flows with heat source.

  • The behavioral-related environmental study for multifamily housing is needed to develop the quality of unit floor plan in terms of user comfort and needs. So, the aim of this study is to find out the living style and housing needs in terms of interaction between the users behavior pattern and orgarnization of physical home space. For the purpose, the field experiments in Pusan, have been carried out with 318 households living in apartments by plan types(2BL, 3BL, 4BL, 5BL) which were classified by number of bedrooms. The dwelling space usage behavior(room use pattern and furniture uasge pattern) and the space adjustment behavior(physical modification of space and preferred space adjustment attitude) were examined and analyzed.

  • 1. Introduction : Gas transport through dense polymeric membranes is predominantly determined by the chain packing density as well as the chain flexibility. Thus, improved permeation properties can be obtained by controlling these two factors. In this work, the introduction of bulky substituents was attempted to improve permeation properties. Polysulfone, widely used material for gas separation membrane, was the starting material of this modification. Gas transport properties of resulting modified polysulfones were examined, and the improved properties were explained by probing the change of physical properties.

  • Polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) is an important inorganic-organic hybrid material with a three-dimensional structure. Polyurethane (PU) is a widely applied polymer that has versatile properties with the change of two phase structure. When POSS is incorporated into PU by physical or chemical methods, many properties can be greatly improved, such as mechanical properties, thermal stability, biodegradation resistance, and water resistance. This paper reviews the recent progress in preparation, structure, and performance of POSS-modified polyurethane from the viewpoint of physical blending and chemical modification.

  • The technique of AKA were devised and modified several times after clinical trials to obtain better result and were though to be few years ago. The published literatures on joint mobilization were unsatisfactory to me since the subject of treatment was not confined to the synovial joint and techniques seemed too violent to treat diseased joints. Among the techniques distraction gliding and the use of convex-concave rule by F. M. Kaltenborn were acceptable theoretically but they required considerable technical modification. By that time it was evident that pain in numerous painful conditions including organic regions could be eliminated by AKA new disease entitles such as aseptic arthritis of the sacroiliac joint, hip joint, shoulder joint, 1st costovertebral joint etc and periradiculitis were elucidated.

  • A multibody system dynamics analysis program is presented using one of the most useful programming methodologies, the object-oriented modeling, The object-oriented modeling defines a problem from the physical world as an abstract object. The object becomes encapsulated with the data and method, Analysis is performed using the object's interface, It is then possible for the user and the developer to modify and upgrade the program without having particular knowledge of the analysis program, The method presented in this paper has several advantages, Since the mechanical components of the multi-body system are converted into the class, the modification, exchange, distribution and reuse of classes are increased. It becomes easier to employ a new analysis method and interface with other S/W and H/W systems, Information can be communicated to each object through messaging. This makes the modeling of new classes easier using the inheritance, When developing a S/W for the computer simulation of a physical system, it is reasonable to use object-oriented modeling.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the utility of the modified form of CTS2(the revised Conflict Tactic Scales) for use of children on university students fo Korea. To attain this purpose, we modified Straus's CTS2(the revised Conflict Tactic Scale) for use of children. It consist of negotiation subscale, physical assault subscale, psychological aggression subscale and injury subscale without sexual coercion subscale. The subjects consisted of 288 students from 19 to 24 of age. As results of analysis(correlation, factor analysis, Cronbach' α), reliability of subscales of CTS2 range from .83 to .98 and total reliability of CTS2 is .93 And there are evidences of construct validity(the convergent validity and discriminant validity) fo CTS2. we examine the prevalence of wife abuse behavior in our subjects' parents. There are the high prevalence of psychological aggression(75.7%) and physical assault(43.4%)
