초음파 가진에 따른 열전달 향상에 관한 연구 (An Experimental Study of enhancing heat transfer by Ultrasonic Vibration)

  • This study presents experimental work on phase change heat transfer, in order to increase heat transfer rate, ultrasonic vibrations were introduced. Solid-liquid phase change occurs in a number of situations of practical interest. This study reveal that ultrasonic vibrations accompany the effects like agitation, acoustic streaming, cavitation, and oscillating fluid motion. Such effects are a prime mechanism in the overall melting process when ultrasonic vibrations are applied. Some common examples include the melting of edible oil, metallurgical process such as casting and welding, and materials science applications such as crystal growth. Therefore, this study presented the effective way to enhance phase change heat transfer.

  • In this study, the performance of an automobile heat storage system using PCM is numerically simulated. For the analysis of system performance. The phase-change of the PCM and the transient forced convective heat transfer for the HTF are considered simultaneously as a conjugate problem. The phase-change behavior is effectively analyzed using a concept of thermal resistance. From the correlations of phase change rate and heat transfer due to the variations of flow rate of HTF around PCM, the automobile heat storage system performance is predicted. The present results amy be used as the fundamental information for the design of automobile heat storage system.

파라핀과 초고분자량 폴리에틸렌으로 구성된 형태안정성 상 전이 물질의 제조 및 특성 (Preparation and Properties of Shape-Stabilized Phase Change Materials from UHMWPE and Paraffin Wax for Latent Heat Storage)

  • 상 전이 물질인 파라핀 왁스를 초고분자량 폴리에틸렌(UHMWPE)과의 absorption method를 통해 파우더를 제조 후 hot press를 사용하여 형태안정성 상 전이 물질(SSPCM) composite를 제조하였다. SSPCM composite의 화학, 미세구조, 형태, 열적, 결정구조, 유변학적 특성을 조사하기 위하여 FTIR, SEM, DSC, XRD, ARES 측정을 하였다. FTIR 분석결과 파라핀 및 UHMWPE의 고유 피크들이 나타나고 있는 것을 확인하였고, SEM 분석결과 파라핀의 농도가 40 wt%까지는 표면이 상당히 팽윤되며 거친 특성을 나타냄을 확인할 수 있었고, DSC 분석결과 SSPCM에서 파라핀 및 UHMWPE의 고유 융점들이 나타났고, XRD 분석에서는 파라핀과 UHMWPE의 $2{\theta}$ 값들이 SSPCM에서도 나타남을 확인할 수 있었고, ARES 분석에서는 파라핀 농도에 따른 G', G", $tan{\delta}$ 값의 변화를 확인할 수 있었다. 종합적인 분석 결과를 통해, 파라핀의 농도가 30 wt%일 때, 형태안정성 측면에서 최적의 농도임을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • Heat transfer phenomena of solidification process of the phase change material within cylindrical can is studied experimentally. N-Eicosane paraffin wax is used for phase change material and its melting temperature is 309.8 K. In order to achieve higher heat transfer rate of latent heat storage apparatus, fins in made of copper are used in the cylindrical can. If there are fins in cylindrical can, we can know that the inward latent heat energy in paraffin can be effectively transfered to cooling water than if finless.

  • Phase-change materials can be cycled by exposure to laser beam, and as a function of the pulse intensity and duration, the laser beam triggers the switching from crystalline to amorphous phase and back. In other to progress better crystallization transition and amorphization long phase-transformation data of phase-change memory (PRAM), we investigated about the effect of Sb doping and Ag ions percolating into Ge-Se-Te phase-change material. Doped Sb concentrations was determined each of 10, 20 and 30 wt%. As the Sb-doping concentration was increased, the resistivity decreased and the crystallization temperature increased. Ionization of Ag was progressed by DPSS laser (532 nm) for 1 hour. The resistivity was more decreased and the crystallization temperature was more increased in case of adding Ag layer under Sb-(Ge-Se-Te) thin film. At the every condition of thin films included Ag layer more stable states were indicated compare with just Sb-doped Ge-Se-Te thin films.

  • A dual-phase structure refers to a material with two different phases of components or crystal structures. In this study, we analyze the stress distributions for harmonic and composite structured materials which are a kind of dual-phase structure materials. The finite element method (FEM) was used to progress compression test to analyze the strain distribution, and rather than constituted of a fully dense material, a dual-phase structure was designed to make a lightweight structure that has different shapes and volumes of vacancy in each case. As a result of each case, the dual-phase structured materials showed different stress distribution patterns and based on this, the cause was identified through the research.

  • Chalcogenide phase change memory has high performance to be next generation memory, because it is a nonvolatile memory processing high programming speed, low programming voltage, high sensing margin, low consumption and long cycle duration. We have developed a new material of PRAM with $Ge_1Se_1Te_2$. This material has been propose to solve the high energy consumption and high programming current. We have investigated the phase transition behaviors in function of various process factor including contact size, cell size, and annealing time. As a result, we have observed that programming voltage and writing current of $Ge_1Se_1Te_2$ are more improved than $Ge_2Sb_2Te_5$ material.

Electrical Switching Characteristics of Ge1Se1Te2 Chalcogenide Thin Film for Phase Change Memory

  • The changes of the electrical conductivity in chalcogenide amorphous semiconductors, $Ge_{1}Se_{1}Te_{2}$, have been studied. A phase change random access memory (PRAM) device without an access transistor is successfully fabricated with the $Ge_{1}Se_{1}Te_{2}$-phase-change resistor, which has much higher electrical resistivity than $Ge_{2}Sb_{2}Te_{5}$ and its electric resistivity can be varied by the factor of $10^5$ times, relating with the degree of crystallization. 100 nm thick $Ge_{1}Se_{1}Te_{2}$ thin film was formed by vacuum deposition at $1.5{\times}10^{-5}$ Torr. The static mode switching (DC test) is tested for the $100\;{\mu}m-sized$ $Ge_{1}Se_{1}Te_{2}$ PRAM device. In the first sweep, the amorphous $Ge_{1}Se_{1}Te_{2}$ thin film showed a high resistance state at low voltage region. However, when it reached to the threshold voltage, $V_{th}$, the electrical resistance of device was drastically reduced through the formation of an electrically conducting path. The pulsed mode switching of the $20{\mu}m-sized$ $Ge_{1}Se_{1}Te_{2}$ PRAM device showed that the reset of device was done with a 80 ns-8.6 V pulse and the set of device was done with a 200 ns-4.3 V pulse.

유해화학물질 취급 외국인 근로자의 적응과정 (A Qualitative Study for Foreign Workers Exposed hazard Chemical Materials in Korean Industry)

  • Purpose: This study was to understand foreign workers' experiences exposed hazard chemical materials in korean industry. Method: The research subjects were 92 foreign workers worked in seoul, namyangju, ansan, suwon, pocheon, incheon, jincheon, and daejeon. It was that grounded theory method as qualitative approach was applied with in-depth interview, recording and dictation, and collected data was analysed line-by-line by research teams. The analysis process of in depth interview data was three phase. Results: The first phase was that find out meaningful data and confronted data for meaningful data was 53 meaningful items. The second phase was coding process of meaningful data, total coding items were 9, difficulty of new environment, existence of health hazard factors originated in work, performance of basic health management, management of hazard materials in work-site, self care of hazard materials in work-site, discrimination of disaster-compensation originated in work, perception of work stress, motivation of leaving position, satisfaction for present life. The third phase was 5 adaptation process, copying phase for new environment, management phase for health hazard factors, health change phase, life change phase, illegal stay phase. Conclusion: In summary, as a results it was concluded that foreign workers was experienced new environment and then has various problems in working site. But these evidences were not different from korean workers basically, undoubtedly reality of a korean small and medium enterprise. And foreign workers with long time stay have had many health problems probably, but they have want to long stay and so reach an unexpected result, illegal long stay. Therefore, we should make efforts for adequate foreign workers' health management at work-site and overall life in governmental and industrial nursing level.

  • 마이크로 캡슐에 관한 연구는 벽 혹은 내부 물질의 성질, 캡슐화의 방법, 내부 구성물질의 내구성과 안정성 그리고, 확산, 투과, 부식, 용해등에 의한 유출현상등을 중심으로 진행되어 왔으며$^{1.2}$ , 1980년대 후반부터 섬유의 열적 성능을 개선하고자 캡슐화된 상전이 물질을 이용한 연구들이 시작 되었다[3-4]. 본 연구에서는 온도 조절 기능을 가지고 온도 감응형 섬유로의 적용을 위하여 상전이 물질(phase change materials: PCMs)을 함유하는 마이크로 캡슐을 제조하여 그 특성을 분석하고자 하였다.
