The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between fathers' child-rearing behavior and the competencies of their children and to suggest ways in which fathers can exert a positive influence on their children. The subjects were the fathers and mothers of 649 six- to seven-year-old children attending schools located in T city. Data was analyzed by frequency, percentile, mean, standard deviation, correlation analysis and canonical correlation analysis. Results showed that "limit setting" was the most frequently used child rearing behavior by fathers. On the other hand fathers' "reasoning guidance" was correlated with children's personalities and intellectual competencies.

The patterns of mother-child personality match were investigated in the study. Further, the impact of goodness-of-fit between mother′s and child′s personality on maternal childrearing behaviors, child′s self-esteem, and child′s emotional intelligence was explored. The participants of this study were 1,060 fifth graders and their mothers from four different cities(Seoul. Suwon, Daejon, and Daegu). Six patterns of mother-child personality match were derived through cluster analysis and discriminant analysis. The most harmonious pattern in which maternal childrearing behavior was positive and child′s self-esteem and emotional intelligence were high appeared between mothers and children with high "stability" and "superiority" The least harmonious pattern was shown for the mothers with low "responsibility" and "reflectiveness" and high "dominance′and "sociability", and the children with low "stability" and "superiority".

This study intends to investigate preschool-sibling's spontaneous imitation during their free-plays through the observation of 41 pairs of siblings aged from 1 to seven years. RESULTS : 1. Sibling's imitation showed in all subjects and had various distribution according to sibling's personalities. 2. Because of sibling's several facts. Their imitation showed differently. 1) Imitation appeared to decline to decline as children grew older. Imitation showed most frequently at the age of 2 years, and decreased after that. 2) Due to the effect of birth-order, the younger one showed his imitation approximately 4.3 times more than the elder one. 3) The effect of sex-composition seemed to coincide with the sex-typing hypothesis rather than the like-sex hypothesis. 4) Boy's imitation showed more frequently than girl's, but the difference was not so significant to be noticed. 3. In siblings, physical imitation was more frequent than verbal imitation, but it was reversed in peer's imitation. 4. The play-situation in which sibling's imitation showed mostly differed from that of Peer's imitation. That is, sibling's imitation appeared in solitary play but peers imitation did appear in associate play.

Study on the Apparel Advertising Strategy and Popular Music Singer. From the 1990s popular musics begin to reflect modern fashion. Especially those dance musics such as Rap or Reggae captivate teenagers through the mass media. So middle-low price causal cloth-ing companies hire the most popular singers as their role model. this marketing strategy succeeds to increas their sales and now many companies compete to engage famous singers,. in western countries where the music and the fashion have interacted for some times famouse singers express their personalities through the clothes they wear. The consumers try to imitate them by puchasing smiliar clothsing. And it makes the apparel company to produce more goods. However if those companies continue to be shiortsighted in terms of increasing sales in the shortrun with out their personality and differentiation brand concept. they will only instigate the teenager's consumptionand they'll fail to create their own fashion-style.

The Netherlands' contemporary Art Furniture has drawn large attention from design and art fields all around the world because of Dutch designers' intriguing themes and experimental approaches. Its successful achievement not comes from certain policies or personalities, but the result of ceaseless internal criticisms and self examinations. After World War II, Modernism was the most common notion of furniture design for mass production in the Netherlands like other nations, but Dutch designers and critics put modernist canon up for discussion since 1960s. They have searched counter modernist design for expression of human element and warmth using art works, craft, and Postmodernism theory, etc. Throughout design debate of modernism, free design, design as art and conceptual design, now we could observe Dutch designer's unique and distinguished Art Furniture in the influential places. By analyzing the development of the Netherlands' contemporary Art Furniture in chronological sequences, we could understand them better and learn something useful to Art Furniture in South Korea.

This analysis of the portrayal of characters in 74 picture books used in kindergarten focused on the gender types and roles of girls and boys, adult females, adult males, and feminist perspectives or sexism. Results showed that girls were rewarded according to their abilities and accomplishments, and they were considered to have equal rights; boys were depicted as dominant, positive, logical, courageous and having initiative; adult females, especially mothers at home, were responsible exclusively for housekeeping and child rearing; adult males, including fathers, were depicted as dominant characters in a variety of professional occupations and social activities, nonetheless, in many books, children were depicted as androgynous personalities having human rights. Though these results show changes in gender stereotypes from the 1970s and 1980s, subtle biases of gender still remain in children's books.

This case study describes the nature of young children's responses in the informational picturebook reading process through the eyes of 4 young children. Over a twenty week period from September 3, 2007 to February 15, 2008, researcher observed 4 young children while they read informational picturebooks and interacted with one another in terms of what they had read. The young children's personalities, preferences and environments as individual background clearly influenced responses and interaction during the reading process. By acknowledging the response styles of young children, a teacher can assist young children in developing a repertoire of responses to informational picturebooks.

In this paper, various characteristics-physiological, psychological and social peculiarities \ulcorner of the elderly are analyzed. Then planning factors of living environment are studied to grope directions on design of living spaces for the aged in the future, which is pertinent to their needs.The peculiar properties of the elderly are analyzed and planning factors of architectural spaces are studied by referring to sundry records from many branch \ulcorner gerontology, medical science, psychology, sociology, etc. \ulcorner of knowledge. In planning house for the aged, we have to consider their physiological, psychological, social characteristics and build many types of living spaces in order to meet their special needs in mind, to maintain their living styles. because their personalities, human relations, living patterns, and so forth have been formd individually for a long period of time and their present conditions are different respectively.

The purpose of this study is to examine how the Hanbok is expressed in the ballet performances through the 'La, Chun-hyang', a classic Korean ballet. 'La, Chun-hyang', was performed from 2009 and 2010, but there were some differences in choreography by the director's intention. According to these changes, the methods of expression of ballet objects were changed as well. Therefore, totally different personalities were shown despite the fact that theses were same performances. Every costume objects in dance performances like the ballet can be used to express the story and the characters. Moreover, the object designs of Hanbok portray creativity and originality that simultaneously refers to history. In order for stage costume objects to popularize, the making method and process have to be developed like the objects of the Hanbok that signified historicity.

With a history of over 100 years, animation is an art of film and television, and a diversified special form of art as well. Animation scene design is not just about scenic painting but also a time-space formative art that serves for film and television animation, presents story plots, unveils dramatic conflicts and depicts character personalities. Scene design requires both high creativity and artistry. Scene design shall cover the living places, social environment, natural environment and historical environment where the characters live. The use of color is an important part in animation creation. In terms of scene design, it plays a significant role in building up the scene atmosphere, promote the plot and enriching screen contents. Focused on Uproar in Heaven-a classic Chinese animation, this paper analyzes the traditional characteristics of Chinese animation scene color and discusses the application and development of color.
