신체만족도.의복태도에 따른 여대생의 충동구매와 심리적 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study of Impulse-Buying and Psychological Characteristics of Female College students by Body Cathexis and Clothing Attitude)

  • The objective of this study was to investigate differences in clothing behavior and individual characteristics of female college students by their body cathexis and clothing attitude. The college students selected by random sampling were classified into four groups by their body cathexis and clothing attitude: positive congruity(positive body cathexis and clothing attitude, G1), positive incongruity(negative body cathexis and positive clothing attitude, G2), negative congruity(negative body cathexis and clothing attitude, G3), negative incongruity(positive body cathexis and negative clothing attitude, G4). The results were as follows: G1 was high in both public and personal self-esteem and self-image, extroverted, refined and impulsive. G2 were fashion opinion leaders, highly uneasy about society, highly impulsive, modem, peculiar, creative and introspective. G3 was highly uneasy about society, low in self-esteem, and less impulsive. G4 was low in both public self-esteem and fashion innovation, and avoided impulsive buying.

그림책활용 독서치료프로그램이 여성결혼이민자의 자아존중감, 사회적 유능감 및 개인적 성장과 가족관계에 미치는 효과 (The effects of bibliotherapy program using picture books on self-esteem, social competence, personal growth and family relationships of married immigrant women)

  • Objective: This study explored benefits of a bibliotherapy program using picture books for self-growth supporting married Immigrant Women settle down as a healthy member of the Korean society. Method: This intervention program was implemented on twelve married immigrant women (and another twelve women as a control group), and their self-esteem and social competence before and after the intervention were examined. In addition, the researcher kept observation journals and conducted post-program interviews with the participants after the completion of the program to understand the changes in family relationships. Result: The results of this study are as follows: (1) the self-esteem scores of participants had increased after the intervention program, however, there was not significant differences between control and experimental groups, (2) the experiment group made more progress in improving social competence, and (3) the study confirmed through qualitative analysis that the program made positive contributions to improving the participants' quality of family relationships. Conclusion: Based on these results, implications for further research and practices were discussed.

시설거주 노인의 의사소통 기술과 자아존중감의 관계 -강원도 지역 무료양로시설을 중심으로- (Relation between Communication Skills and Self-Esteem of the Institutionalized Elderly -Focusing on the Free Institutionalized Elderly in Gangwon-do Area-)

  • 본 연구는 무료양로시설에 거주하는 노인들을 대상으로 하여 의사소통 기술과 자아존중감과의 관계를 살펴보기 위하여 노인의 의사소통 기술을 자기이해, 바람직한 경청, 명확한 의사표현, 자기느낌 표현, 자기개방 등 5개 하위요소로 나누어 각 변인들과 자아존중감 간에 어떤 관계가 있는지를 파악함과 동시에 시사점을 모색코자 하였다. 연구방법은 강원도의 무료양로시설(춘천1, 원주1, 강릉1)에 거주하는 만 65세 이상 노인을 대상으로 총 123부를 본 연구의 분석 자료로 사용하였다. 연구결과 다음과 같은 결과가 나왔다. 첫째, 인구사회학적 특성에 따른 의사소통 기술수준 차이는 취미, 종교유무, 용돈, 가장 의지하는 사람에 따라 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 인구사회학적 특성에 따른 자아존중감은 종교, 생활비 부담자, 취미 건강상태에 따라 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 셋째 의사소통 기술이 자아존중감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 즉 노인들의 자아존중감이 높을수록 의사소통 수준도 높은 것으로 보여준다. 몇 가지 제언을 한다면 시설에 거주 노인들을 위해서는 취미생활과 종교 생활 그리고 충분한 용돈과 생활비 부담을 본인이 하게 한다면 자아존중감도 높아지고 의사소통 기술도 향상될 것으로 사료된다.

건강증진과 삶의 질 구조모형 II-암환자 중심- (A Structural Model for Health Promotion and Quality of Life in People with Cancer)

  • It has been noted that a genetic alteration of cells influenced by unhealthy lifestyle in addition to a series of other carcinogens increases the incidence of various neoplasmic diseases. Therefore the importance of a lifestyle that minimizes such an impact on health should be emphasized. Since stomach cancer, the most common neoplasmic disease in Korea, is related to personal lifestyle and as there is a possibility of its recurrence, patients with stomach cancer need to lead a healthy lifestyle. Also the quality of life which patients experience is negatively affected by the side effects of treatments and the possibility of recurrence. Therefore an effective nursing intervention to enhance quality of life and encourage healthy lifestyle is needed. The purpose of this study is to provide a basis for nursing intervention strategies to promote health and thus enhance quality of life. A hypothetical model for this purpose was constructed based on Pender's Health Promotion Model and Becker's Health Belief Model, with the inclusion of some influential factors such as hope for quality of life and health promoting behavior. The aims of study were to : 1) evaluate the effectiveness of patient's cognitive-perceptual factors on health promoting behaviors and quality of life ; 2) examine the causal relationships among perceived benefit, perceived barrier, perceived susceptibility and severity, internal locus of control, perceived health status, hope, health concept, self efficacy, self esteem health promoting behaviors & quality of life ; 3) build and test a global hypothetical model. The subjects for this study were 164 patients who were being treated for stomach cancer were approached in the outpatient clinic on a University Hospital. The data from the completed questionnaires were analyzed using Linear Structural Relationships (LISREL). The results of research are as follows : 1) Hypothetical model and the modified model showed a good fit to the empirical data, revealing considerable explanational power for health promoting behaviors(54.9%) and quality of life(87.6%) 2) Self efficacy and hope had significant effects on health promoting behaviors. Of these, hope was affected indirectly through self efficacy and self esteem. 3) Perceived health status, hope and self esteem had significant direct effect on the quality of life. Of these variables, perceived health status was the most essential factor affecting general satisfaction in life. 4) Self-efficacy, as a mediating variable, was positively affected by perceived benefit and hope. 5) Self-esteem, as a mediating variable, was positively affected by perceived health status and hope. 6) Hope was the main variable affecting self efficacy, self esteem, health promoting behaviors and quality of life. The derived model in this study could effectively be used as a reference model for further study and could suggests a direction for nursing practices

또래 괴롭힘 피해아의 특성에 기초한 중재 프로그램의 개발 : 부모교육 프로그램과 사회적 기술 훈련 프로그램을 중심으로 (The Development of Intervention Programs Based on Characteristics of Children Victimized by Peers:Focus on Parent Education and Social Skills Training Programs)

  • Based on characteristics of victims, the parent education program focused on building a new concept of personal respect toward their children and on changing overprotective and coercive parenting styles into democratic parenting. The social skills training program focused on building self-acceptance, self-esteem and interpersonal capabilities in victimized children. Three groups, each composed of 6 victims and their mothers, were compared to examine the effectiveness of the programs. Children in experimental group I showed marked increase in self-esteem. They also reported that their mothers' overprotective parenting decreased after participation in the parent education program, indicating the effectiveness of the intervention program.

Case Studies of the Fashion Therapy

  • The purpose of this study examines the fashion-related concerns of women in their early twenties and their personal thoughts on sociocultural factors through fashion. Data were collected twenty-seven female participants in their twenties in order to examine their traumas related to fashion and how these experiences affect their attitude toward clothing and fashion. Based on this, this study sheds light on what effects traumatic experiences have had on participants' self-esteem. It also provides an in-depth analysis of the problems underlying and reasons for the study participants' fashion choices, and attempts to demonstrate their self-reflection through fashion. Finding of the study was that the participants had a passive attitude toward fashion and built a wall against it. The study results suggest that the very first step to going beyond oneself and developing an active attitude is to try to be proactive and face a challenge related to fashion or clothes that one chooses oneself. Therefore, it is now time for Korean society to shape a culture that respects the unique qualities of every individual and allows free expression of diversity.

MZ세대의 자아존중감, 쇼핑동기 및 쇼핑성향이 의복구매행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Self-esteem, Shopping Motivations, and Shopping Tendencies on the Clothing Purchase Behavior of the MZ Generation)

  • 본 연구는 다양한 영역에서 큰 영향력을 행사하고 있는 MZ세대의 자아존중감, 쇼핑동기, 쇼핑성향이 의복구매행동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, MZ세대의 타인구매 동기, 유행추구 쇼핑성향, 쾌락추구 쇼핑성향은 의복구매 행동의 하위요인 중 개인적 욕구에 정적 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, MZ세대의 실질구매 쇼핑동기, 유행추구 쇼핑성향, 쾌락추구 쇼핑성향, 편의추구 쇼핑성향은 의복구매 행동의 하위요인 중 실제적 필요에 정적 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, MZ세대의 사회적 자아존중감, 타인구매 쇼핑동기, 편의추구 쇼핑성향은 의복구매 행동의 하위요인중 의복마케팅전략에 정적 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 개인적 자아존중감은 의복구매 행동의 마케팅 전략에 부적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 MZ세대가 자신의 개성과 소신에 맞게 의복구매를 할 것이라는 기대와 다르게 나타났다. 디지털 환경에 익숙한 MZ세대가 의복을 구매하는데 있어 유행과 관련된 정보에 쉽게 접하며 이는 신념이나 행동까지 변화시키는 결과를 가져오는 것으로 판단된다. 이상의 연구결과에서 MZ세대의 의복구매 행동에 많은 변수가 있을 것으로 예상되며, 따라서 새로운 소비자 집단으로 바라보고 마케팅 전략을 세워야 할것으로 사료된다.

학급 블로그 활동이 초등학교 학생들의 자아 존중감에 미치는 영향 (Effect of class Blog Activity on self-esteem for elementary students)

  • 블로그는 트랙백이라는 기술을 이용하여 개인이 생산한 정보나 일상의 기록을 웹상에서 다수의 사람들과 공유할 수 있게 하는 미디어 체계이다. 즉 기존까지 행하여진 웹활동이 수동적이었고 일방적이었던 반면 블로그는 개인이 주체적이고 사회의 일원으로써 관심을 받을 수 있게되는 계기가 되었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 블로그 활동이 학생들의 일반적, 사회적 자아 존중감에 어떠한 영향을 주는 가를 알아보기위해 학급 블로그 시스템을 설계하여 실제 운영해 보았다. 그 결과 6개월간 블로그를 활용한 집단이 그렇지 않은 집단에 비해 일반적 자아 존중감, 사회적 자아존중감 등 대부분의 자아 존중감 수치가 유의미하게 높게 나타났다.

신체이미지와 자아존중감 향상을 위한 패션테라피 프로그램 개발 - 직장인 남성을 중심으로 - (Development of fashion therapy programs for improving body image and self-esteem - Focused on the male workers -)

  • The objective of this study was to develop a fashion therapy program for improving body image and self-esteem among male workers. Accordingly, the demand for fashion therapy programs was examined by conducting a literature review, survey, and in-depth interviews with men working in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk areas. The results are summarized as follows. The fashion therapy program followed a framework of "introduction-development-final" and was 60 minutes in length, for four sessions (one per week). The contents of the program consisted of a study of the participants' appearance and any concerns they had about their body in Session 1. In Session 2, differences in image perception were examined according to color coding of menswear and personal color. Session 3 comprised understanding what styling is required to supplement men's body shape and what style is suitable for each participant. The content of Session 4 determined how to build social performance or positive image using nonverbal elements. Overall, this study has great significance in that it has developed a study on fashion therapy program originally applied for psychological treatment with women that has been adapted as a program to help improve positive emotions and social competitiveness of male workers in an office environment.

개인적 지능과 정의적 교육 (Personal Intelligences and Affective Education)

  • The present study developed teaching-learning activities to improve personal intelligences and to investigate their effectiveness. Significant differences were found in both interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligence. Positive effects appeared in cooperative attitudes, capacity to care for and understand others, and in reflective thinking abilities. The results suggest the importance of a balanced educational curriculum in order to enhance human affective aspects, self-esteem, cooperative classroom climate formation and the moral and character development of students. Consistent and systematic investigation is needed on multiple intelligences theory, development of teaching-learning activities, their longitudinal effects, and a fair assessment instrument.
