  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of feeling distance of clothes in the person perception. The specific objectives were: 1) to investigate whether the compositions of clothes affect the rate of detouring, ; 2 ) to investigate whether the gender compositions of dyads affect the rate of detouring, ; 3) to investigate whether the distance between members of dyads affect the rate of detouring. ; 3) to investigate whether the distance between members of dyads affect the rate of detouring. ; 4) to investigate the .effect of the interaction among the compsitions of clothes, the gender compositions, and the distance between members of dyads in the person perception. For this study, two male and two female undergraduates were selected and wore business suit or casual wear as given by the researcher. The distance between members of dyads ranged from 100cm to 170cm with an increment unit of loom. The data from our observation were analysed by x2-test, ANOVA, and MCA. The major findings were ; 1) In male/male dyad, distance perception from clothes were affected by the compositions of clothes at all distance. In maleffemale dyad, when the distance between members of dyad is short, distance perception from clothes were affected by the compositions of clothes modes, 2) When two members of dyad wear business suit, distance perception from clothes were affected by the gender composions of dyads. 3) Distance perception from clothes were affected by distance factors at all the gender compositions of dyads. 4) In the person perception, the most imprtant clue was the distance between members of dyads. The pllysical distance, which was formed by clothes, was between 130cm and 140cm.

  • In this study, we examine how the third- and first-person perceptions of election polling news are linked to voters' political behaviors through anxiety and pride. The results of two web-based surveys conducted before and after the 2022 local elections in South Korea demonstrate that the third-person perception of election polling news is directly and indirectly linked to support for restrictions on media reports of election poll results through anxiety. The first-person perception of polling news is positively associated with reinforcement of support for the preferred candidate. These results suggest that how voters perceive the effects of polling news may have actual impacts on their political behaviors.

  • Purpose: To study the perception and satisfaction of in-person and online classes for dental technology students. Methods: A total of 420 questionnaires were distributed to dental technology students between June 1 and June 30, 2021. Of these, 225 questionnaires were assessed using frequency analysis, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson's Chi-squared test, and independent t-tests via IBM SPSS Statistics ver. 22.0 (IBM). Results: For theory subjects, satisfaction was higher for online classes than in-person classes (p=0.001). For practical subjects, satisfaction was higher for in-person classes than online classes (p=0.002). Both the learning effect and motivation for learning were higher for in-person classes than online classes (p=0.001). Conclusion: When in-person and online classes become coexistent, there should be educational guidelines for improving the quality and effectiveness of learning in these different contexts.

  • The third-person perception phenomenon can consistently be found in opinion poll news, but it remains unknown what determines the degree of the third-person perception (TPP) about specific election poll news. We investigated how respondents' preferred candidate's status in the poll affects the perceived impact of polling news on both themselves (PMI1) and on others (PMI3) as well as TPP (PMI3 - PMI1). We also examined the effect of subjective political knowledge and the perceived level of political knowledge of others on TPP. An online experiment was conducted in the context of a gubernatorial election in South Korea, in which the leading candidate in the poll and the question order (self-question first vs. other-question first) were manipulated. The results indicated that PMI1 and PMI3 were greater when the respondent's preferred candidate was leading in the poll. TPP did not differ depending on subjective knowledge, but it was greater when the others were non-experts (vs. experts). Lastly, question order was found to be a method factor that affected both PMI1 and PMI3. The theoretical and practical implications of these findings are discussed.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the intention of one-person households' selection in the university students. The survey was analyzed with factor analysis, reliability, cross tabulation analysis, t-value, and regression analysis with SPSS version. 18.0. The total of 237 male and female university students participated in the survey. The results were summarized as follows. First, there were significant differences between male and female students in the important factors, problems and reasons when selection of the one-person households in the future, and the perception of one-person households. Second, gender, perception of one-person households, the importance of self-improvement, housing expenses, and family rite had significant effects on the intention of one-person households' selection. The result of the study can be used as basic data for social discussion about one-person households.

  • The purpose of this study was (1) to identify the experimental bias which could appear person perception as results of development methods (2) to find out the most desirable method in developments of stimulus. The research was a quasi experiment and the subjects were 358 male and female undergraduate students by convenient sampling. The experimental instruments consisted of a set of stimulus and semantic differential scales of 7-point bi-polar adjectives. The collected data were analyzed by Principle Component Analysis, ANOVA(analysis of variance), Scheffe's multiple range test. The independent variables were developing methods of stimulus(live person, photography of real person, 2 kinds of black and white line drawing, 2 kinds of color drawing). The results were as follows. First, five factors which were potency, sociality, appearance, evaluation, activity impressional dimensions emerged to account for the methods of development of stimulus. Second, the methods of development of stimulus had significant effects on potency, sociality, appearance, activity factors. In sociality factors, the impression of photographic stimulus was the closest to the live person's impression. However in the appearance and activity impressions, significant difference existed between live person and other developing stimulus. In the potency impression, black and white line-drawing gave the highest impressional bias. In the sociability and appearance impressions, color-drawing stimulus gave the highest impressional bias. Result: On conclusion the developments of stimulus can effect on stimulus person's impressions and these effects can produce experimental biases, the photographic stimulus gave the least impressional bias. The study shows that photography of real person will produce minimize measurement error.

  • The article analyzes the features of the formation of a person's value attitude to the worldview by means of information technologies. The present considers it necessary to form a person's value attitude to the perception of the world by means of information technologies. The explosive development of information and telecommunications technologies has become a determining factor in the development of modern society, which is called the information or Global Information Society. It is not yet fully formed, and we are all participants in the development of the Global Information Society. The article considers the basics of a harmonious worldview of a person, which is the basis for the formation of outlook ideas, views, knowledge, beliefs about the surrounding world, which determine the place and role and motivate actions in relation to the surrounding reality through the prism of value orientations. Worldview is considered as an integrity of relatively stable schemes, behaviors, feelings, thinking, vision of the surrounding world, inherent in an individual child, ethno-cultural and socio-cultural groups. The concept of "worldview" as a component of the multi-level structure of the individual's outlook is defined. The features that characterize a person's perception of the world are revealed. The main educational value of information technologies in the formation of a person's value attitude to the perception of the world is highlighted, which consists in the fact that they allow you to create an immeasurable brighter multi-sensory interactive learning environment with almost unlimited potential opportunities that fall at the disposal of both the teacher and the student. The trend of forming a person's value attitude to the perception of the world is clearly developing in the direction of mixed learning as a process that creates a comfortable information educational environment, communication systems that provide all the necessary educational information. The approach to student development by means of the educational environment and the formation, while in the person of a value attitude to the perception of the world by means of Information Technologies, has many pedagogical advantages, which is considered in the article.

  • This study aims to develop an easy and practical simple heat index (SHI) using climatic parameters. This simple heat index was named as a thermal perception index. Most of thermal indices are difficult to calculate or interpret for most normal person. Newly developed thermal perception index (THI) was used only a few variables for input.
