원심압축기 채널디퓨저 내부의 비정상 압력분포 (Unsteady Pressure Distributions in a Channel Diffuser of Centrifugal Compressor)

  • The aim of this paper is to understand the unsteady flow phenomena in a high speed centrifugal compressor channel diffuser. Instantaneous pressures aye measured at six locations in the diffuser using fast-response pressure transducers. Instantaneous pressure ratio decomposition was applied to analyze the pressure signal. In vaneless space where impeller-vaned diffuser interaction is strong, aperiodic unsteadiness is high and periodic pressure waveforms by blade passing are not clear at low flow rates, especially near vane suction side. High aperiodic unsteadiness decreases downstream of diffuser. The blade-to-blade pressure wave does not disappear in surge flow condition. In surge there exist not only large scale periodic surge wave but also blade-to-blade pressure wave.

  • 본 논문에서는 주기적인 구조로 배열된 복수게이트를 갖는 MOSFET가 초고주파 중폭소자로서 연구되었다. 제안된 소자는 다른 초고주파 증폭소자와 마찬가지로 캐리어의 주행시간을 증폭의 근원으로 한다. 게이트상의 전압분포차 반도체 표면상의 지연파사이의 상호착용이 동기 상태 근처에서 계산되었다. 안정도 계수와 가역성계수가 사용주파수와 캐리어 속도의 함수로 보여졌다.

  • This study investigates the transition of flows in a natural convection problem with periodic wall temperatures of the form, T/sub L/=T₁+δ Tsinκχ and T/sub L/=T₂+δ Tsinκχ .The fluid considered is air with P/sub γ/=0.7. In the conduction-dominated regime with a small Rayleigh number, two large cells are formed over one wave length, for all wave numbers. When k≤1.8, the flow becomes unstable with increase of the Rayleigh number, and multicellular convection occurs above a critical Rayleigh number. The flow patterns are classified by the number of eddies over one wave length, and several kinds of transition phenomena, such as 2→3→4, 4→3→2, and 2→4 eddy flow, occur with increase( or decrease) of the Rayleigh number. Dual solutions are found above a critical Rayleigh number, and an anomalous bifurcation is observed.

주기적인 Blazed 격자로 구성된 광 도파로의 분산 특성 (Dispersion Characteristics of Optical Waveguide with Periodic Blazed Grating Profile)

  • 고유치 문제에 기초한 모드 전송선로 이론 (Modal Transmission-Line Theory: MTLT)을 이용하여 blazed 격자로 구성된 광 도파로의 누설특성과 Bragg 조건들을 정확하게 분석하였다. 대칭형, 톱니형, 비대칭형으로 분류한 blazed 격자형 광 도파로는 Bragg 조건들에서 leaky-wave stop-band가 나타났으며, Bragg 조건 근처에서 Rayleigh 조건에 기인한 anomalies 현상이 발생함을 보였다. 또한, 주기적인 격자구조의 특성 임피던스에 기초한 종 방향 등가 전송선로를 구성하여 광 도파로의 DFB 특성을 Bragg 조건에서 분석하였다. 분석 결과, leaky-wave stop-band가 발생하는 Bragg 조건에서 DFB 도파로의 반사전력이 최대가 되는 것을 확인하였다.

An Extended EPQ Model to Relax the Constant Demand Assumption into Periodic Demand

  • This article presents a new model called the periodic square wave(PSW) to describe the material flow of periodic processes involving an intermediate buffer. The material flows into and out of the intermediate buffer are assumed to be periodic square shaped. By using this model, It is proved that the classical economic lot size model with finite supply rate, the so-called EPQ model, can be applicable to the arbitrary periodic demand case. This new model relaxes the original assumption of the constant demand. It is shown, as a unique application example, that the explicit solution for determining both upstream and downstream economic lot size can be obtained with the aid of the PSW model. The PSW model provides more accurate information on analyzing the inventory and production system than the classical approach, without losing simplicity and increasing the computational burden.

Numerical study of the effect of periodic jet excitation on cylinder aerodynamic instability

  • Numerical simulations based on the ALE finite element method are carried out to examine the aerodynamics of an oscillating circular cylinder when the separated shear flows around the cylinder are stimulated by periodic jet excitation with a shear layer instability frequency. The excitation is applied to the flows from two points on the cylinder surface. The numerical results showed that the excitation with a shear layer instability frequency can reduce the negative damping and thereby stabilize the aerodynamics of the oscillating cylinder. The change of the lift phase seems important in stabilizing the cylinder aerodynamics. The change of lift phase is caused by the merger of the vortices induced by the periodic excitation with a shear layer instability frequency, and the vortex merging comes from the high growth rate, the rapid increase of wave number and decrease of phase velocity for the periodic excitation in the separated shear flows.

  • In this paper, we investigate the existence and calculation of the expression of periodic solutions for fuzzy differential equations with three types of forcing terms, by using Hukuhara derivative. In particular, Theorems 3.2, 4.2 and 5.2 are the results of existences of periodic solutions for fuzzy differential equations I, II and III, respectively. These results will help us to study phenomena with periodic peculiarity such as wave or sound.

주기 구조를 이용한 Partial H-plane Filter (Partial H-plane Filter with Periodic Structure)

  • 본 논문에서는 주기 구조를 이용한 소형화된 partial H-plane필터를 제안하였다. 주기 구조의 관내 파장은 저속파의 영향으로 인해 그 크기가 줄어든다. 주기 구조를 이용한 partial H-plane 필터는 일반적인 E-plane 필터보다 단면적과 길이가 각각 75%, 30% 축소되었다. 또한 대역 통과 필터의 스퓨리어스 응답 특성이 향상되었다. 주기 구조를 이용한 대역 통과 필터를 설계하기 위해 partial H-plane 도파로의 주기 구조가 해석되었고, 설계식이 유도되었다. 측정된 결과는 시뮬레이션 결과와 잘 일치함을 확인할 수 있었다.
