This study is to develop cooperative learning aids for Clothing and Textiles classes, and to develop methods and tools for performance assessment. We have surveyed 127 students with‘class evaluation’questionnaire after teaching 9 classes through developed materials. As a result, we found that students preferred to cooperative learning and they tended to do their best in their assigned role in the cooperative learning. Meanwhile, we also found that they understood the assignment of performance assessment well and they felt lack of time to handle given tasks. It shows that we need to be flexible when applying a teaching method in a way that teachers give student more options to choose their duty and time span. Although a few students create a problem and delay their duty as disturbing cooperation in a group we anticipate that the developed teaching aids and performance assessment will be a great help to improve Home Economics classes. In closing, we believe that we can be open-minded Home Economics educators that continue to work on improving classes through developing diverse teaching aids and performance assessment.

Early design phase energy modeling is used to provide the design team with first order of magnitude feedback about the impact of various building configurations. For better energy-conscious and sustainable building design and operation, the construction of BIM data interoperability for energy performance assessment in the early design phase is important. The purpose of this study is to suggest construction of BIM data interoperability for energy performance assessment based on BIM. To archive this purpose, the authors have investigated advantage of BIM-based energy performance assessment through comparison with traditional energy performance assessment and suggested requirement for construction of open BIM environment such as BIM data creation, BIM data software practical use, BIM data application and verification. In addition, the authors have suggested BIM data interoperability and BIM energy property mapping method focused on materials.

The purpose of this study is to help teachers and program developers develop comprehensive and authentic assessment models with appropriate ways of using various kinds of assessment tools in college English instruction and assessment. Assessing by traditional discrete tests based on grammar and vocabulary cannot measure the authentic ability for language use in meaningful context in the real world. Currently, the trend in language assessment is changing to performance assessment. Increased use of performance assessments that involve language students in selecting and reflecting on their learning means that language teachers will have a wider range of evidence on which to judge whether students are becoming purposeful and are able to communicate as English users. Also, language programs focused on performance assessment are likely to instil in students authentic skills related to communication in the global world and enable them to evaluate what they learn from their English classes. In this study, the author investigated the theoretical background, the need of change, and several types of performance assessment.

본 연구의 목적은 웹 기반 수행평가의 문제중심별 상황학습에 따른 제작, 실시, 채점 및 전송과정을 통하여 교수자의 현장운영 및 학습자의 자기주도적 학습과 상호작용 증진을 통한 교수-학습의 효과를 증대시키는데 있다. 이를 위해 학교현장의 효율적 운영과 학습효과를 위한 구성주의적 문제중심학습(PBL)과 웹 기반 학습공동체 중심의 상황학습을 반영한 웹기반 수행평가 설계모형을 개발하였다. 웹 기반 제작은 자동제작을 통해 문제중심의 자기주도적 학습이 이루어지며, 상황학습을 적용한 템플릿 제작에서는 구체적 사례 기반의 맥락에 따른 학습이 수행된다.

The 2015 revised mathematics curriculum had newly introduced the term 'process-focused assessment'. The official document, however, did not offer an explicit definition of the new term, but only by virtue of narrative. This has encouraged practitioners and researchers to figure out themselves what it is and how it differs from those in use, formative assessment and performance assessment in particular, in use. In consequence, many versions of interpretation, all of which are not necessarily consistent, have been developed and implemented in schools, This, in turn, still has created a chaotic situation carrying out the process-focused assessment. This study attempted to make the meaning of the process-focused assessment more explicit by conducting a comprehensive review of the related literature, for implementing it in its intended way.

Recently, advanced countries assessment the risk of fire to prevent large-scale damage to high-rise buildings, In addition, performance-Based design, which is a fire risk assessment, is being conducted in Korea to prevent massive damage to high-rise buildings. However, unlike advanced countries, fire risk assessment in Korea is subject to fire risk assessment only for objects subject to consent from fire-fighting facilities such as building permits, When building engineers and fire-fighting engineers assessment the risk of fire, It has always been discussed because the results vary depending on which part of the evaluation is focused between economic feasibility and safety. Therefore, in this study, we would like to propose a fire risk assessment process suitable for domestic conditions by comparing the process of performance-based design, which is a domestic fire risk assessment, and the process of Iso/TC 16732 which is an overseas fire risk assessment.

네트워크의 발달은 전통적인 교육이 가지고 있는 한계점을 보완해 주는 웹 기반 교육(WBI : Web Based Instruction)이라는 교육 분야를 창출하였고 지금 이 순간에도 웹 기반 교육에 대한 연구가 활발하게 이루어지면서 다양한 모양의 학습 모형이 제시되며 구현되고 있다. 웹 기반 교육에서의 평가는 기존의 객관식 위주의 채점평가가 그대로 적용이 되고 있는 상황이고 학생의 실제적인 수행을 검사하고 판단하는 수행평가(Performance Assessment)에 대해서는 상당수 구현이 되어 가고 있는 반면에 실제로 점수를 부여하고 행정적으로 처리를 하는 선생님의 입장에서 구현이 되어진 수행평가 프로그램은 없는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 학생들의 편의를 위해서 널리 보급되어 있는 인터넷을 이용한 수행평가 방법이외에 실질적인 행정업무를 처리하는 선생님의 입장에서 보다 편리하게 수행평가를 수행할 수 있도록 수행평가 프로그램을 구현하였다.

The purpose of this study was to provide analytic rubrics for measuring teamwork(PO6), communication and presentation skills(PO7), and life-long learning(PO8) based on theoretical concepts of performance assessment and rubrics. Also, this study analyzed data about performance assessment and rubics from courses offered through college of engineering. Participants were 34 senior engineering students who took the course 'Technical writing and presentation'. In the second week of the course, students were given the pre-test instrument which was developed for measuring students' understanding of program outcomes for this study. After performing project activities using rubrics, students were encouraged to complete the post-test instrument and the reaction questionnaire during the ninth week. The data were analyzed by using SPSS 14.0 and Microsoft Excel. The research findings are as follows. First, to promote and evaluate program learning outcomes appropriately, performance assessment-based on rubircs should be implemented. Second, in the reaction questionnaire about the rubircs, students answered that using rubircs for performing the project was very useful for understanding the performance procedures and assessment criteria. Third, the mean of understanding of program outcomes of students in post-test was significantly increased than in the pre-test(p<.0001). From the findings, performance assessment and rubrics should be used as evaluation tools at course levels in terms of promoting program learning outcomes for engineering education.

제7차 (수학과) 교육과정의 가장 큰 변화는 교사 중심 교육에서 학습자 중심 교육으로의 전환이라고 본다. 이에, 새로운 패러다임이 도입되면서 평가에서도 기존의 표준화 검사에서 수행평가를 강조하게 되었다. 하지만, 일부 연구자 및 교육 정책가들은 현재 지금 이 시점에서 수행평가가 실행되고 있지 않기 때문에 표준화 검사로 회귀하자는 주장을 한다. 본 글은 이런 주장에 대한 반박을 하기 위해서 작성 되었다. 수행 평가란 학습자 중심 수업이 진행되었을 때 가능한 평가 방법이다. 따라서, 본고는 학습자 중심 수업을 실시하는 중에 실시되는 평가로서의 수행평가에 대해서 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to search the concept and meaning of performance assessment(PA) in the classroom, and the to proposed some strategies to apply PA. The result of this study was presented below. First, differentiation strategy is necessary in the evaluation goal. Individualization will be an example of differentiation strategy in the evaluation of group goal. Second, various strategies are needed based on the subjects of evaluation. Self-evaluation, peer-evaluation, and small group-evaluation are some examples evaluation for the subjects. Third, there is a need for phase-strategy assessment. For the class associated performance assessment, we have to consider the evaluation activities based on the time likes before (pre), on, and after class. How to select the evaluation task is also one of the key sucess factors for improving the class associated performance assessment.
