Effective 3 dimensional modelling is to be essential work for design of construction, mechanic and industrial part. Especially, it makes possible for reverse design. It need rapidity, accuracy, reality. Data acquisition method for modelling are contact 3dimensional measurement system, LASER scanner, Pattern scanner, and digital photogrammetry. This study introduce to 3 dimensional modelling methods and analysis of these method. We tried to 3D modelling of automobile part using OPTO-Top pattern scanner which system have rapidity and accuracy, and compared effectiveness of each method. The 3D display web environment was made.

Effective three dimensional modeling becomes essential in a wide range of drawings, such as construction, machinery and design. In particular, it has been developed as the tool enabling reverse design. Three dimensional modeling requires rapidity, accuracy and tangibility. Data acquisition methods for modeling including contact type coordinate measurement machine, LASER scanner, pattern scanner and digital photogrammetry. In this study, we try to analyze modeling techniques as well as introduce three dimensional modeling using pattern scanner. In addition, this study conducts three dimensional modeling using OPTO-Top pattern scanner with distinguished accuracy and rapidity, and then compare efficiency with digital photogrammetry. And, this study attempts to form environment that enables to turn around models on web in three dimensional ways.
This paper was conducted to compare the methods of women's basic pattern and the problems by analyzing the space between skin and clothing using 3D scanner and thereupon, proposed the solutions. The Bunka pattern of Japan Bunka Women's University(Bunka) and the Secoli pattern of Italy istituto carlo secoli(Secoli) were used. The subject who has nearly the same body size with N type of National anthropometric survey of Korea in 1997 was picked out. In the result of analyzing the space between skin and clothing of each pattern by 3D Scanner, there exist significant differences in the chest and bust parts. The Bunka has more space than the Secoli at bust part, especially between bust points. Because the Bunka has the bust dart which was made from only the bust girth, it couldn't reflect the difference of each human body. Whereas the Secoli has the bust dart which gave a consideration the difference between the bust girth and the chest girth, it has more even space between skin and clothing.

Now, Autonomous unmanned vehicle has become an issue in next generation technology. 2D Laser scanner as the distance measurement sensor is used. 2D Laser scanner detects the distance of 80m, measured angle is -5 to 185 degree. Laser scanner detects only the plane, but using motor swings. As a result, traffic signs detect and analyze patterns. Traffic signs when driving at low speed, shape of the detected pattern is very similar. By shaking the laser scanner, traffic signs and other obstacles became clear distinction.

The terrestrial laser scanner measures the signal delay time of electronic circuit in EDM(Electronic Distance Measurement) Module for distance measurement. To measure signal delay time precisely, transmitting laser beam of terrestrial laser scanner is divided optically. Therefore, 10% of the laser beam power is entered into the electronic circuit and the others go out through lens. But, measure of delay time is severe in the laser scanner system that the laser beam power is changed dynamically by reflectance of a object, because characters like gain of electronic circuit involving APD(Avalanche Photo Diode) and so on are changed by incident laser beam. Therefore, we adapt ND(Neutral Density) filter that has grid pattern to the laser scanner system to keep constant the incident laser beam power. In this paper, we propose the simulation program for efficient design of ND filter pattern. Finally, to affirm simulation program, we conduct the experimental test of simulated ND filter that has linearly transmittance change, and we consider the experiment result.
The purposes of the study were to present the optimum slacks pattern for elementary school girls and to compare and evaluate wearing ease of the slacks. 3D scans using the Cyberware PS motion platform were carried out for 3 subjects who have different body type. The automatic drafting method was programmed by AutoLISP in CAD. Wearing tests using 3D Scanner was done for evaluation of fitness of slacks. Regression analysis, analysis of variance and post-hoc test were performed for statistical analysis of the data by SPSS program. The procedure and results were as follows: The slacks construction components for pattern drafting were derived from 10 horizontal section maps obtained from 3D scans. The automatic drafting was based on the measurements of slacks construction components and the curve of crotch line. The crotch line was drafted using of the arc function in AutoCAD. The total crotch length was calculated using the multiple regression equation. Wearing test represented that the slacks pattern developed to accomodate individual body measurements was estimated more highly than existing patterns.

In the early days of laser invention, it was simply used as a measuring tool, but as lasers became more common, they became an indispensable processing tool in the industry. Short-wavelength lasers are used to make patterns on wafers used in semiconductors depending on the wavelength, such as CO2 laser, YAG laser, green laser, and UV laser. At first, the hole of the PCB board mainly used for electronic parts was not thin and the hole size was large, so a mechanical drill was used. However, in order to realize product miniaturization and high integration, small hole processing lasers have become essential, and pattern exposure for small hole sizes has become essential. This paper intends to analyze the characteristics through patterns by exposing the PCB substrate through DMD and polygon scanner, which are different optical systems. Since the optical systems are different, the size of the patterns was made the same, and exposure was performed under the optimal conditions for each system. Pattern characteristics were analyzed through a 3D profiler. As a result of the analysis, there was no significant difference in line width between the two systems. However, it was confirmed that dmd had better pattern precision and polygon scanner had better productivity.

We propose laser scanner sensor system based walking pattern and tracking method of multiple human. This system uses laser scanners sensors and is applicable to wide and crowded area such as hospital and medical care center. The primary objective of this research is to promote the development of robust, repeatable and transferable software for security system that can automatically detect, track and follow people in public area. We developed the method of human identification for this system. Our method is following: 1. Best-walking pattern data are obtained by the help of human position and direction data obtained by laser scanners. 2. Human identification is conducted by calculating the correlation between the step length of walking human. It becomes possible to conduct human identification even in crowded scenes by estimating the movements of waling human' feet are periodic. In the experiment in the station, some effectiveness of this method became clear.

This study was to evaluate the fitness and the suitability of size specification of the ready made jacket for women by analysing pattern size and space between skin and clothing using 3D scanner. The results were as follows: 1. Pattern B had the lowest score and the feeling of wearing was significantly different among the given patterns even though all jacket size specification were the same. 2. Ease amount was different between each brand even though the jacket size specification was the same due to the different pattern grading rules. And increasing grading amounts were bigger in horizontal direction rather than in vertical direction. 3. We could obtain accurate a 3 dimensional figure, using 3D scanner which was very useful and more accurate than 2 dimensional data using photography method. 4. Analyzing the average space between skin and clothing of each pattern, there was no significant difference in the average space between skin and clothing among all patterns except waist part of B88 size. And analyzing the average space between skin and clothing of each measured body parts by each size, there existed a significant difference in the interscye, abdomen and hip parts.
A high speed laser texturing method that relies on laser scanner conditions, to form pattern shapes with micro-narrow surface detail such as dotted line features is demonstrated and analyzed. For example, this method may be used to piston ring and gear part for automotive. Data on friction characteristics of two laser patterns employed for STD61 steel will be shown. Comparison of pattern depths obtained by repetition overlapping process with laser scanner to the results on friction coefficient will be provide. It will be shown that friction characteristic in dotted line patterns can significantly depend upon interaction with the lubrication and laser pattern conditions. Laser pattern processing into a shallow depth provides only slight improvement in friction, while work into a deep shape indicates a significant improvement.
