부산시 황령산의 경관구조와 생태적 복원 (Landscape Structure and Ecological Restoration of Mt. Hwangryung in Pusan, korea)

  • An attempt to clarify the landscape structure of urban areas was carried out on Mt. Hwangryung located in the center of Pusan, southern Korea. By means of aerial photographs and field survey, a vegetation map including land-use pattern was made. Landscape structure was described by analyzing the vegetation map. Landscape element types were classified into secondary forest, introduced plantation, and other elements including urbanized area. almus firma and Pinus thunbergii communities, introduced plantation elements, formed matrix and some secondary forest elements and the other artificial plantations of small scale tended to distribute as small patches in such matrix. The number of patches per unit area in secondary forest elements was more than that in introduced plantation element. The result on patech size was vice versa. As the results of landscape ecological analyses, it was estimated that differentiation of patches recognized in community level would be related to artificial interference and those in sub-communities levels to natural process such as progression of succession. On the other hand, restoration plans in viewpoints of restoration and landscape ecology were suggested to improve ecological quality of Mt. hwangryung.

Taylor 가중치와 LSMI 알고리즘을 이용한 광대역 적응형 빔형성 연구 (A Study on Wideband Adaptive Beamforming using Taylor Weighting and LSMI Algorithm)

  • This paper represents an adaptive beamforming technique to suppress interference or jamming signals in wideband. In order to maintain low side lobe level(SLL) at an antenna element level, Taylor-weighting was used. Also, to make a nulling beam pattern toward jammer's directions in wideband, we used the modified Loaded Sample Matrix Inversion(LSMI) algorithm and Tapped Delay Line(TDL). To verify the proposed algorithm, we applied it to a rectangular array antenna. Finally, the results show beam pattern with low SLL and jammers suppression.

GPS 항재밍을 위한 적응 배열 안테나의 성능 분석 (Performance Analysis of Adaptive Array Antenna for GPS Anti-Jamming)

  • In anti-jamming GPS receiver, adaptive signal processing techniques in which the radiation pattern of adaptive array antenna of elements may be adaptively changed used to reject interference, clutter, and jamming signals. In this paper, I describes adaptive signal processing technique using the sample matrix inversion(SMI) algorithm. This adaptive signal processing technique can be applied effectively to wideband/narrowband anti-jamming GPS receiver because it does not consider the satellite signal directions and GPS signal power level exists below the thermal noise. I also analyzed the effects of covariance matrix sample size and diagonal loading technique on the system performance of five-element circular array antenna. To attain near optimum performance, more samples required for calculation covariance matrix. Diagonal loading technique reduces the system nulling capability against low-power jamming signals, but this technique improves robustness of adaptive array antenna.

  • It was shown that if Q is a fully indecomposable $n{\times}n$ orthogonal matrix then Q has at least 4n-4 nonzero entries in 1993. In this paper, we show that for each integer p with $4n-4{\leq}p{\leq}n^2$, there exist a fully indecomposable $n{\times}n$ orthogonal matrix with exactly p nonzero entries. Furthermore, we obtain a method of construction of a fully indecomposable $n{\times}n$ orthogonal matrix which has exactly 4n-4 nonzero entries. This is a part of the study in sparse matrices.

  • A new approach to texture classification for ultrasound liver diagnosis using run difference matrix was developed. The run difference matrix consists of the gray level difference along with distance. From this run difference matrix, we defined several parameters such as LDE, LDEL, NUF, SMO, SMG, SHP etc. and three vectors namely DOD, DGD and DAD. Each parameter value calculated in fatty cirrhotic, chronic hepatitic and normal liver mage was plotted in two dimensional plane. We compared our results with run length method. There are several advantages of run difference matrix method over the run lengths. 1) It is more sensitive to small difference of gray level distribution. 2) The parameters provide more statistically significant value. Images were classified with the extracted parameters to each diseases using neural networks. In preliminary clinical exprements, this approach showed satisfying results.

$L_i$ 계획에서 조화행렬의 구조에 관한 연구 (A study on the structure of concordance matrices of Li type PBIB designs)

  • 블럭계획에서 조화행렬(concordance matrix)이 퍼뮤테이션 행렬(permutation matrix)들의 크로네커 곱(Kronecker product)의 선형결합으로 표시되면, 그러한 블럭 계획들은 특성치 C (Property C)를 갖고 특성치 C를 갖는 블럭계획들은 역행렬의 계산없이 블럭내 분석이 가능하다(Paik, 1985). $L_i$ 계획($L_i$ PBIB design)이 특성치 C에 속하는 것을 보이기 위하여, 조화행렬의 구조가 다중순환형식임을 보였다.

  • This paper is concerned with the improvement of impact and tensile Properties of spheroidal graphite cast iron of the following duplex matricess which were heat treated in the eutectic transformation temperature range (that is, $({\alpha}+{\gamma})$ coexisting range) ; ferrite-martensite, ferrite-bainite and ferrite-pearlite. The absorbed energy and maximum load was measured by recording the load-deflection curve with instrumented Charpy impact testing machine in the temperature range from $+100^{\circ}C$ to $-196^{\circ}C$. It was found the ferrite-bainite duplex matrix showed the highest toughness among the above matrices in the room temperature and the low temperature range. Comparison of this matrix to ferrite-pearlite matrix(that is, as cast) showed a lowering of $27^{\circ}C$ in the nil-ductility transition temperature (NDT) and a lowering of $40^{\circ}C$ in the ductile-brittle transition temperature (TrE), Which seems to result from the finner dimple pattern observed using miorofractography.

가교키토산 매트릭스를 통한 Silver Sulfadiazine의 투과 (Permeability of Silver Sulfadiazine through Crosslinked Chitosan Matrices)

  • Chitin을 epichlorohydrin과 반응시켜 가교 chitin을 합성하고, $C_2$ 위치의 아세트아미드기를 탈아세틸화하여 가교 chitosan을 얻었다. 가교 chitosan을 증류수에 팽윤시킨 다음 글리세린과 silver sulfadiazine을 가하여 고분자 matrix를 제조하였다. 이렇게 제조된 matrix로부터 in vitro에서의 약물 방출 pattern을 고찰하기 위해 pH7.4 인산염 완충용액 중에서 약물의 함유량, 글리세린의 농도 변화 및 matrix 두께변화에 미치는 인자들에 관하여 연구 검토 하였다. 고분자 matrix내의 약물의 함유량과 matrix의 두께가 증가할수록 약물 방출 지속 시간은 지연되었다. 그러나 글리세린의 함유량이 증가함에 따라 약물 방출 지속 시간은 오히려 감소 하였다. 또한 약물의 함유량과 글리세린의 함유량이 증가할수록 겉보기 방출속도상수 (K)값도 증가하였으나, matrix 두께가 증가함에 따라서는 겉보기 방출속도상수(K)값이 일정하였다. 이상과 같이 가교 chitosan은 약품의 방출 조절형 제제로서 사용 가능성을 나타냈으며, 약물로 사용된 silver sulfadiazine의 방출거동은 Higuchi model에 따른 확산으로 생각되었다.

  • This paper is concerned with the generation and use of modular BOM, which is typically utilized in representing product configurations for two-level master production schedule. A method called VCM (Value Clustering Method) is proposed to build modular BOMS. We adopted a where-used matrix to represent part-product relationships. VCM is a method that can identify modules of components based on the where-used matrix. The method uses product family group value, product value, and component value. This can facilitate retrieving information about modules, finding out alternative usage pattern of components, and recognizing modules used in a particular product.

Cyclic Factorial Association Scheme Partially Balanced Incomplete Block Designs

  • Cyclic Factorial Association Scheme (CFAS) for incomplete block designs in a factorial experiment is defined. It is a generalization of EGD/($2^n-1$)-PBIB designs defined by Hinkelmann (1964) or Binary Number Association Scheme (BNAS) named by Paik and Federer (1973). A property of PBIB designs having CFAS is investigated and it is shown that the structural matrix NN' of such designs has a pattern of multi-nested block circulant matrix. The generalized inverse of (rI-NN'/k) is obtained. Generalized Cyclic incomplete block designs for factorial experiments introduced by John (1973) are presented as the examples of CFAS-PBIB designs. Finally, the relationship between CFAS and BNAS in block designs is briefly discussed.
