실리콘 박막 트랜지스터 내 포논 평균자유행로 스펙트럼 비등방성 열전도 특성에 대한 수치적 연구 (A Numerical Study on the Anisotropic Thermal Conduction by Phonon Mean Free Path Spectrum of Silicon in Silicon-on-Insulator Transistor)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 실리콘 열전달 조절을 위한 포논의 평균자유행로(Mean free path, MFP) 스펙트럼 열전달 기여도 예측이다. 열전달의 크기 효과는 포논의 MFP 와 재료의 특성길이가 비슷할 때 나타나는데, 나노시스템 응용을 위한 재료의 열전달 증감을 위해 포논 MFP 스펙트럼에 대한 열전달 기여도 예측이 중요하다. 이를 위해 포논의 주파수 의존성이 고려된 볼츠만 수송방정식(Boltzmann transport equation) 근간의 full phonon dispersion 모델을 통해 실리콘 박막(Silicon-on-Insulator) 트랜지스터의 실리콘 박막 두께 변화(41-177 nm)에 따른 포논 MFP 스펙트럼 열전달 특성 및 비등방성을 해석함으로써, 본 연구 결과는 향후 박막 트랜지스터에 대한 고효율 열소산(heat dissipation) 설계전략에 활용될 수 있다.

뇌졸중 환자 가족돌봄제공자의 영성과 삶의 질 모델: 경로분석 (Spirituality and Quality of Life Model of Family Caregivers Caring for Patients with Stroke: Path Analysis)

  • Purpose: This study was to test a structural model of spirituality and the quality of life of stroke survivors' caregivers in order to provide guidelines for the development of intervention and strategies to improve their quality of life. Methods: Data were collected from 133 family caregivers of stroke patients who were hospitalized in C university hospital located in Seoul. Data collection using survey questionnaires was done from May, 2013 to February, 2014. Results: Fitness of the hypothetical model was appropriate. Physical component of quality of life of family caregivers is directly affected by two variables (51.5%), burden and depression. Mental component of quality of life of family caregivers is directly affected by three variables (77.6%), depression, burden, and functional dependence of patients. Depression as well as burden were directly affected by spirituality and functional dependence of patients respectively. Thus, spirituality directly affected depression and burden and indirectly affected the quality of life of family caregivers. Conclusion: Therefore, spiritual intervention to improve the stroke caregivers' quality of life might be necessary to support and strengthen their spirituality as a mediating variable that can contribute to decreasing their depression and burden.

융복합시대에 대학생의 스마트폰 의존도가 진로태도성숙에 미치는 영향: 대인관계 문제의 매개효과 (The Influence of Smart-phone Dependence of University Students on Career Attitude Maturity in the Convergence Era: Mediating Effect of Interpersonal Problem)

  • 연구의 목적은 대학생의 스마트폰 의존도가 진로태도성숙에 미치는 영향과 그 경로에서 대인관계 문제의 매개효과를 분석하는데 있다. 이를 위해 서울과 수도권에 소재한 4개 대학의 학생들을 대상으로 설문을 진행하여 총 221부로 실증적인 검증을 위해 구조방정식을 실행하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 대학생의 일상생활 장애와 가상세계 지향이 높으면 대인관계 문제에 정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학생의 일상생활 장애와 가상세계 지향이 높으면 진로태도성숙에 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 대학생의 대인관계 문제는 진로태도성숙에 부적인 영향을 미치며, 스마트폰 의존도와 진로태도성숙 관계에서 모두 완전매개하고 있음을 파악하였다. 따라서 본 연구결과는 대학생의 진로태도성숙을 증진시키는 다양한 프로그램의 개발과 적용에 기초자료로 사용될 수 있음을 시사하였다.

GEOMAGNETIC FIELD VARIATIONS DURING SOLAR ECLIPSES AND THE GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION OF OBSERVING SITES

  • We examine whether the solar eclipse effect is dependent on the geographic conditions under which the geomagnetic field variations are recorded. We concentrate our attention on the dependence of the solar eclipse effect on a number of factors, including, the magnitude of a solar eclipse (defined as the fraction of the angular diameter of the Sun being eclipsed), the magnetic latitude of the observatory, the duration of the observed solar eclipse at the given geomagnetic observatory, and the location of the geomagnetic observatory in the path of the Moon's shadow. We analyze an average of the 207 geomagnetic field variation data sets observed by 100 INTERMAGNET geomagnetic nodes, during the period from 1991 to 2016. As a result, it is demonstrated that (1) the solar eclipse effect on the geomagnetic field, i.e., an increase in the Y component and decreases in the X, Z and F componenets, becomes more distinct as the magnitude of solar eclipse increases, (2) the solar eclipse effect is most conspicuous when the modulus of the magnetic latitude is between $30^{\circ}$ and $50^{\circ}$, (3) the more slowly Moon's shadow passes the geomagnetic observatory, the more clear the solar eclipse effect, (4) the geomagnetic observatory located in the latter half of the path of Moon's shadow with respect to the position of the greatest eclipse is likely to observe a more clear signal. Finally, we conclude by stressing the importance of our findings.

  • The purpose of this study is to review the changes in the aviation safety management system, how that system has evolved and what forces caused these changes to take place. Also included is an examination of the development process of the aviation safety management system in view of the new institutionalism, identifying the patterns of change. Based on the results of this study, I propose policy methods to design a desirable civil aviation safety system with a view toward raising the safety standards in the Korean civil aviation community. The major analysis variables are as follows: first, aviation accidents caused by external factors and international standards as independent variables; second, environmental changes and political processes affecting aviation safety management system as major mediating variables; and third, the aviation safety management legal system, the aviation safety management organizations and an expert participation system as dependent variables. The institutional changes and continuance of the aviation safety management system show that when specific circumstances arise, the continuance lasts depending on the path dependency, and in a certain circumstance, when immanent changing factors reach a critical point, the system suddenly changes by a punctuated equilibrium, which are all included in this study.

지상원격탐사를 이용한 에어러솔 간접효과 연구 (Aerosol Indirect Effect Studies derived from the Ground-based Remote Sensings)

  • Aerosol indirect radiative forcing of climate change is considered the most uncertain forcing of climate change over the industrial period, despite numerous studies demonstrating such modification of cloud properties and several studies quantifying resulting changes in shortwave radiative fluxes. Detection of this effect is made difficult by the large inherent variability in cloud liquid water path (LWP): the dominant controlling influence of LWP on optical depth and albedo masks any aerosol influences. Here we have used ground-based remote sensing of cloud optical depth (${\tau}_c$) by narrowband radiometry and LWP by microwave radiometry to determine the dependence of optical depth on LWP, thereby permitting examination of aerosol influence. The method is limited to complete overcast conditions with liquid-phase single layer clouds, as determined mainly by millimeter wave cloud radar. The results demonstrate substantial (factor of 2) day-to-day variation in cloud drop effective radius at the ARM Southern Great Plains site that is weakly associated with variation in aerosol loading as characterized by light-scattering coefficient at the surface. The substantial scatter suggests the importance of meteorological influences on cloud drop size as well, which should be analyzed in the further intensive studies. Meanwhile, it is notable that the decrease in cloud drop effective radius results in marked increase in cloud albedo.

  • 초고속 정보통신망의 구축에 있어 광모듈은 중요한 부분을 차지하고 있다. 그 중에서 광원인 레이저 다이오드는 온도에 변화에 대해 성능이 크게 좌우되므로, 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문은 평면 매립형 레이저 다이오드를 비율 방정식에 의하여 전기적 등가회로로 변환하였다. 그리고, 누설 경로에 해당하는 활성층 바깥 영역을 다이오드와 두 개의 트랜지스터로 등가화한 후, 시뮬레이션을 통해 누설전류를 해석하였다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 누설전류를 줄이기 위한 전류차단층의 도핑농도를 조사하였다.

중소공급업체 공정성 지각의 선행요인과 결과요인 (Antecedents and Consequences of Supplier's fairness perception)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 중소공급업체의 공정성 지각의 선행요인과 결과요인의 규명을 통하여 대기업과 중소기업간의 상생을 위한 요인을 파악하고자 하였다. 중소공급업체 공정성 지각의 선행요인으로는 수직적 조정, 협력지원, 정보공유, 법계약적지배의 네가지 변수를, 결과요인으로는 공급체인의존성과 공급체인유연성으로 가정하여 분석을 시도하였다. 첫째, 대형구매업체의 수직적 조정은 중소공급업체의 분배공정성 지각과 절차공정성 지각에 정(正)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대형구매업체의 협력지원은 중소공급업체의 분배공정성 지각과 절차공정성 지각에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 대형구매업체가 중소공급업체에 더 큰 요구를 하는 경우가 많기 때문에 이런 결과가 나온 것으로 추정된다. 셋째, 대형구매업체의 정보공유는 중소공급업체의 분배공정성 지각에는 정(正)의 영향을 미치고 절차공정성 지각에는 직접영향은 주지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 대형구매업체의 법계약적지배는 중소공급업체의 분배공정성 지각에 부(負)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나고, 절차공정성 지각에 부(負)의 영향의 방향성은 나타났다. 다섯째, 절차공정성은 공급체인의존성에 직접영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났지만 공정성은 공급체인 의존성 및 공급체인 유연성에 직접, 간접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

Study of aerosol-cloud interaction phenomena from satellite remote sensing and climate modeling

  • We have analyzed AVHRR global data set for obtaining aerosol and cloud microphysical parameters, i. e., optical thickness and size index of particle polydispersions. From the results, it is found that the cloud optical thickness increases with increasing aerosol column number, which seems to be caused mainly by decreasing cloud particle radius, The cloud liquid water path was observed to be relatively constant without a significant dependence on the aerosol number. Further comparison of the satellite results with a general circulation model simulation.

The Admissible Multiperiod Mean Variance Portfolio Selection Problem with Cardinality Constraints

  • Uncertain factors in finical markets make the prediction of future returns and risk of asset much difficult. In this paper, a model,assuming the admissible errors on expected returns and risks of assets, assisted in the multiperiod mean variance portfolio selection problem is built. The model considers transaction costs, upper bound on borrowing risk-free asset constraints, cardinality constraints and threshold constraints. Cardinality constraints limit the number of assets to be held in an efficient portfolio. At the same time, threshold constraints limit the amount of capital to be invested in each stock and prevent very small investments in any stock. Because of these limitations, the proposed model is a mix integer dynamic optimization problem with path dependence. The forward dynamic programming method is designed to obtain the optimal portfolio strategy. Finally, to evaluate the model, our result of a meaning example is compared to the terminal wealth under different constraints.
