개선된 보조전원장치에 의한 고조파 저감대책 (Harmonic Reduction Scheme By the Advanced Auxiliary Voltage Supply)

  • 본 논문에서는 12펄스 정류기의 커패시터 중앙 DC버스에 개선된 보조전원장치를 설치하는 방법을 제안하였다. 11차 및 13차 고조파가 감소하는 이론적인 배경을 다루었으며 부하전류의 크기, 전원전압의 위상 및 크기, 커패시터 전압에 따라 개선된 보조전원의 파형 및 크기가 어떻게 제어되어야 하는지를 제시하였다. 기존의 구형파 보조전원장치를 적용한 경우는 전 영역에서 고조파 왜형률이 6~60[%]로 큰 편차를 보이지만 본 눈문에서 제안하는 개선된 보조전원장치를 적용한 경우 저 부하에서 고 부하에 이르는 전 영역에서 57~71[%] 라는 안정되고 뛰어난 고조파 왜형율 저감 효과를 보인다. 특히 10[%] 부하상태에서 기존방식은 고조파 왜형율 저감 효과가 6[%]로 효과가 거의 없지만 제안된 방식은 71[%]라는 놀라운 저감성능을 보여주고 있다. 소프트웨어 PSIM을 활용하여 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안된 방식의 유효성을 입증하였다.

한국인의 건강증진 생활양식 프로그램 개발을 위한 연구 - Q 방법론 적용 - (A Study of Programs to Health Promoting Lifestyles among Korean Adults - Q Method -)

  • Previous studies have shown that five representative behaviors affect the health of adults in everyday life : smoking, drinking, exercise, nutrition, and stress. This study focuses on these five behaviors in an attempt not only to develop a program that promotes health, but also to suggest ways that such a program may be implemented to reflect diverse lifestyles. Our aim is to show how individual subjectivity influences behavior when making lifestyle choices that affect health. By analyzing individual characteristics, we tried to group people according to their common attitude and behaviors to promote health. We hope that this study may provide the fundamental data which may be used to assist professionals in promoting healthy behaviors among adults. In order to examine how subjectivity(e.g, personal opinions or attitudes) influences behavior, we prepared Q-statements which were composed of Q-samples for the study of human subjectivity. We polled forty-two adults and then analyzed the results using a PC qunal program. As a result, the respondents were classed according to six different types. Type One includes people who think managing stress is the most effective way to live a healthy life. They regard smoking and drinking as harmful behaviors. Type Two subjects, on the other hand, regard smoking and drinking as a matter of taste with few harmful effects. Although they recognize the importance of managing stress, they have a positive attitude towards smoking and regard nutrition as a minor factor in promoting their healthy lifestyle. Those classed as Type Three emphasize the necessity of exercise. They perceive drinking, smoking, and stress as harmful. People in this category seek to increase physical strength and to regulate all five health behaviors by keeping them in a normal range. Type Four consists of people who are indifferent to their health. While they seem to recognize the importance of regular exercise, they pay little attention to nutrition or to the harmful effects of smoking, drinking, and stress. They believe that exercise alone is sufficient to maintain their health. Type Five subjects believe drinking is not a harmful behavior at all. Rather. it has a positive effect on their mental health. They are characterized by this positive attitude towards drinking as well as by indifference toward nutrition (although they readily admit that good nutrition is important). Finally. those classed as Type Six have a positive attitude toward moderate drinking as a means to relieve stress. However. they also recognize the harmful effects of excessive drinking. They regard good nutrition as an important lifestyle choice but are indifferent toward exercise. This type is engaged in passive health management. This study devised six types or categories that reflect different attitudes toward promoting health in everyday life. It further went on to analyze the characteristics of each type. This study shows that programs designed to promote health must be modified to reflect the diversity of individual attitudes and patterns of behaviors.

RF전력 증폭기의 온도 변화에 따른 Drain 전류변동 억제를 위한 능동 바이어스 회로의 구현 및 특성 측정 (The RF Power Amplifier Using Active Biasing Circuit for Suppression Drain Current under Variation Temperature)

  • 본 논문은 초고주파 전력증폭기용 LDMOS(Lateral double-diffused MOS) MRF-21060소자의 게이트 바이어스 전압을 조절하여 온도 변화에 따른 드레인(Drain) 전류의 변화를 억제하기 위한 PNP 트랜지스터를 사용하여 능도 바이어스 회로 구현하였다. MRF-21060을 구동하기 위한 방법으로서는 AH1과 평형증폭기인 A11을 사용하여 구동 증폭단을 설계.제작하였다. 제작된 5W 초고주파 전력증폭기는 0~$60^{\circ}C$까지의 온도변화에 대하여 소모전류 변화량이 수동 바이어스 회로에서 0.5A로 높은 반면, 능동 바이어스 회로에서는 0.1A이하의 우수한 특성을 얻었다. 전력증폭기는 2.11~2.17GHz주파수 대역에서 32dB 이상의 이득과 $\pm$0.09dB이하의 이득 평탄도가 나타났으며, -19dB이하의 입.출력 반사손실을 가진다.

적출 유두근에서 근육길이에 따른 계단현상 및 칼슘 수축력의 변화 (Length-dependent Staircase Phenomenon and Calcium Inotropisn in Isolated Rabbit Papillary Muscle)

  • The effects of various inotropic interventions on the shape of the steady state length tension relation and the length-dependent activation process in cardiac muscle were studied. The influence of inotropic interventions upon the action potential was also observed. The range of varying muscle length was from the optimal length$(l_{max})$, where the active tension production is maximal, to 0.85 $l_{max}$. Changes in stimulus frequency or in external bathing Ca concentration constituted the inotropic interventions in this experiment. The papillary muscles were isolated from the rabbit right ventricles and perfused with $HCO-_3\;-buffered$ normal Tyrode solution which was aerated with $3%\;CO_2-97%\;O_2$ mixed gas and kept at $35^{\circ}C$. Resting Passive tension at $l_{max}$ was approximately 30% of the total tension and appeared from the muscle length of 0.90 $l_{max}$. The effect of stimulus frequency on the steady state level of developed tension was: As the stimulus frequency was increased from 0.1 to 0.5 Hz, there was little change in developed tension. As the frequency was increased further, to a value of about 3 Hz, tension increased steeply. Further increase of the frequency to 5 Hz had little additional effect on the developed tension. The length-tension curves for isometric peak tension became more steeper with the degree of potentiation by inotropic interventions. The relative steepness of the normalized length-tension curves where tension production was expressed as a percentage of maximal tension developed at $l_{max}$, varied inversely with the level of inotropic state and these curves were not superimposable one another. Thus at the stimulus frequency of 2 Hz or at the external Ca concentration of 8 mM, the relative decline in the developed tension for a given change in muscle length was considerably less than the decline observed at the frequency of 0.5 Hz or at the concentration of 2 mM Ca. Action potential duration was prolonged significantly as the frequency increased from 0.2 to 2 Hz, and this change in action potential duration was not observable on the changes in muscle length. There was a tendency of the hyperpolarization of membrane potential when the muscle length was shortened from $l_{max}$ to 0.95 $l_{max}$. These results support the hypothesis that there is a length-dependence of the activation process.

우리나라 구곡시가에서 나타난 조경 식물종의 상징적 의미 (The Meaning of Plant Species in Korean Gugok Poems(九曲詩歌))

  • 구곡시가는 구곡원림을 연구하는 중요한 소재이다. 특히 시가에서 출현하는 경물은 그 장소성과 원림의식을 표출하는 중요한 소재이다. 그러나 자연에 대한 인식 태도나 미적 형상화 과정을 탐구할 수 있는 식물 소재에 대하여 다수학문들은 소극적이다. 따라서 본 연구는 구곡원림문화의 연구 소재를 확장하기 위해 구곡시가에 출현한 식물에 관한 다양한 상징적 의미를 발굴하고 그 맥락을 밝히고자 한다. 연구의 목적을 수행하기 위해 나는 총 18구곡처 25개의 관련 시가를 수집하였고 총 20종의 식물을 발견하였다. 본 연구는 구곡 시가와 그 해설문을 R-program을 사용하여 수목의 의미를 도출하였고 상호텍스트성에 의한 수목의 의미를 고찰하였다. 연구결과, 20종의 식물은 신선계, 청빈, 향수, 군자의 품격, 진락, 절개, 강학, 태평성대의 상징적 의미를 내포하였다. 다수의 종은 '신선계'에 상징성을 집중하였고 다음으로 '군자의 품격'에 대한 싱징 빈도가 높았다. 복사나무, 느티나무, 떡갈나무 등을 제외한 다수의 수종이 다중적 의미를 갖추고 있었다. 그 중 소나무와 연꽃이 상징적 의미의 폭이 넓었고 주변 경관의 특성에 따라 의미도 달랐다. 일반적으로 구곡문화는 자연경관을 대상으로 하지만 용산, 퇴계, 덕산, 주산구곡은 인위적인 배식 및 정원 행위를 통해 상징적 의미를 강화 또는 재생산하는 특징을 보여주었다. 우리 구곡시가는 무릉도원을 상징하는 복사나무의 한계를 극복하기 위해 단풍나무와 갈대를 대체 수종으로 활용하였다. 이상의 맥락에 따라, 구곡시가에 출현하는 수목은 전통적인 의미를 고집하기보다는 해당 구곡의 경물, 행위 그리고 의도에 따라 그 상징적 의미를 다르게 표출하였다.

미생물효소에 의한 우유 casein의 항원성 저감화 (Reduction of Antigenicity of Bovine Casein by Microbial Enzymes)

  • 본 연구에서는 우유 앨러지의 원인물질중의 하나인 casein단백질을 생체가 알르겐 물질로 인식할 수 없는 수준의 분자로까지 분해하여 항원성을 저감시키고 또한 풍미가 좋은casein분해물을 제조하기 위하여 분해특성이 다른 효소를 사용하여 만들어진 분해물의 특성과 항원성을 조사하였다. 박테리아 효소인 Neutrase, Alcalase, Protamex, Pescalase을 처리한 casein가수분해물의 평균분자량은 1,100~2,300 dalton이었고 곰팡이 효소인 MP, Flavourzyme, LP, Promod경우에는 거의 770 ~ 1,140 dalton범위였다. 항원성 저감정도를 측정하기 위하여 토끼항casein항혈청을 이용하여 ELISA억제시험을 실시한 결과 항체결합을 50%저해하는 미분해casein단백질의 농도는 $10^{3.6}$ng/ml였다. 박테리아 효소인 Neutrase, Alcalase, Protamex, Pescalase에 의한 Casein가수분해물의 값은 각각 $10^{4.8},\;10^{5.5},\;10^{5.9},\;10^{6.1}\;ng/ml$이었고, 곰팡이 효소인 MP, Flavourzyme, LP, Promod경우에는 각각 $10^{6.3},\;10^{6.3},\;10^{6.5},\;10^{6.8}\;ng/ml$로 나타났다. 박테리아와 곰팡이효소의 조합인 Fla+prota, Pro+prota처리구에서는 $10^{7.4},\;10^{7.3}ng/ml$로 나타났다. 따라서 미분해 casein의 항원성을 1로 하면, casein분해물의 항원성은 최고 1/8,000 이하로 저하되었다. 수신피부아나피랙시스반응(PCA)을 이용한 항원성시험에서 casein으로 피하 감작할 경우 푸른색 반점이 나타났으나 효소처리구에서는 이러한 반점이 나타나지 않아 충분히 항원성이 저감화 되었음을 확인하였다.

$H_O_2$ 가 304L 스텐리스강의 부식거동에 미치는 영향 (Effect of $H_O_2$ on the Corrosion Behavior of 304L Stainless Steel)

  • 사용후 핵연료 저장구조재의 구조적 안정성자 관련해서, 감마선 조사 생성물로 알려져 있는 $H_2O$$_2$를 전해질에 주입시키었을 때, $H_2O$$_2$가 저장구조재인 304L스텐리스강의 부식거동에 어떤 영향을 미치는가를 조사하였다. 실험결과, $H_2O$$_2$는 304L 스텐리스강의 부식전위를 상승시키고 Pitting 전위를 감소시킴으로써 부동태 영역을 줄이고 pitting 저항성을 감소시키는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 감마선 조사에 의한 부식 거동 변화와 유사한 결과라고 볼 수 있으며, 또한 산소농도증가에 의한 부식거동 변화와 유사한 결과로 해석되었다. 재부동태형성전위가 $H_2O$$_2$의 존재로 증가하는데, 이로써 응력부식균열임계전위는 약간 상승할 것으로 추론되었다. 그러나, $H_2O$$_2$ 농도가 6.3$\times$$10^{-6}$M 이하로 떨어질 경우, $H_2O$$_2$는 부식거동에 영향을 주지 못했다. 이는 대기압상태에서 용존된 $O_2$환원반응속도에 비해 $H_2O$$_2$환원반응속도가 작기 때문이라고 해석되었다. 중성용액보다 산성 및 염기성 용액에서, $H_2O$$_2$가 부식거동에 미치는 영향이 작아졌는데, 이는 산성용액에서는 높은 H$^{+}$ 농도 때문에, 염기성용액에서는 le Chatelier의 원칙 때문인 것으로 해석되었다.

Exposure Characteristics of Construction Painters to Organic Solvents

  • Background: Construction painters have not been studied well in terms of their hazards exposure. The objective of this study was to evaluate the exposure levels of total volatile organic compounds (TVOCs) for painters in the construction industry. Methods: Activity-specific personal air samplings were carried out in three waterproofing activities [polyurethane (PU), asphalt, and cement mortar] and three painting activities (epoxy, oil based, and water based) by using organic-vapor-monitor passive-sampling devices. Gas chromatograph with flame ionization detector could be used for identifying and quantifying individual organic chemicals. The levels of TVOCs, by summing up 15 targeted substances, were expressed in exposure-index (EI) values. Results: As arithmetic means in the order of concentration levels, the EIs of TVOCs in waterproofing works were 10.77, 2.42, 1.78, 1.68, 0.47, 0.07, and none detected (ND) for indoor PU-primer task, outdoor PU-primer task, outdoor PU-resin task, indoor PU-resin task, asphalt-primer task, asphalt-adhesive task, and cement-mortar task, respectively. The highest EI for painting works was 5.61 for indoor epoxyprimer task, followed by indoor epoxy-resin task (2.03), outdoor oil-based-spray-paint task (1.65), outdoor water-based-paint task (0.66), and indoor oil-based-paint task (0.15). Assuming that the operations were carried out continuously for 8 hours without breaks and by using the arithmetic means of EIs for each of the 12 tasks in this study, 58.3% (7 out of 12) exceeded the exposure limit of 100% (EI > 1.0), while 8.3% (1 out of 12) was in 50e100% of exposure limit (0.5 > EI > 1.0), and 4 tasks out of 12 were located in less than 50% of the limit range (EI < 0.5). Conclusion: From this study, we recognized that construction painters are exposed to various solvents, including carcinogens and reproductive toxins, and the levels of TVOC concentration in many of the painting tasks exceeded the exposure limits. Construction workers need to be protected from chemical agents during their painting works by using personal protective devices and/or work practice measures. Additional studies should focus on the exposure assessment of other hazards for construction workers, in order to identify high-risk tasks and to improve hazardous work environments.

Exposure to Particles and Nitrogen Dioxide Among Workers in the Stockholm Underground Train System

  • Objectives: Exposure to fine particles in urban air has been associated with a number of negative health effects. High levels of fine particles have been detected at underground stations in big cities. We investigated the exposure conditions in four occupational groups in the Stockholm underground train system to identify high-exposed groups and study variations in exposure. Methods: $PM_1$ and $PM_{2.5}$ were measured during three full work shifts on 44 underground workers. Fluctuations in exposure were monitored by a real-time particle monitoring instrument, pDR, DataRAM. Qualitative analysis of particle content was performed using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. Nitrogen dioxide was measured using passive monitors. Results: For all underground workers, the geometric mean (GM) of $PM_1$ was $18{\mu}g/m^3$ and of $PM_{2.5}$ was $37{\mu}g/m^3$. The particle exposure was highest for cleaners/platform workers, and the GM of $PM_1$ was $31.6{\mu}g/m^3$ [geometric standard deviation (GSD), 1.6] and of $PM_{2.5}$ was $76.5{\mu}g/m^3$ (GSD, 1.3); the particle exposure was lowest for ticket sellers, and the GM of $PM_1$ was $4.9{\mu}g/m^3$ (GSD, 2.1) and of $PM_{2.5}$ was $9.3{\mu}g/m^3$ (GSD, 1.5). The $PM_1$ and $PM_{2.5}$ levels were five times higher in the underground system than at the street level, and the particles in the underground had high iron content. The train driver's nitrogen dioxide exposure level was $64.1{\mu}g/m^3$ (GSD, 1.5). Conclusions: Cleaners and other platform workers were statistically significantly more exposed to particles than train drivers or ticket sellers. Particle concentrations ($PM_{2.5}$) in the Stockholm underground system were within the same range as in the New York underground system but were much lower than in several older underground systems around the world.

수중음향센서 수온 변화에 따른 음향 수신 특성 변화 연구 (A study on temperature dependent acoustic receiving characteristics of underwater acoustic sensors)

  • 본 논문은 수중음향센서의 수온 변화에 따른 음향 수신 특성 변화를 이론적, 실험적 방법으로 확인하였다. 반사판 및 배플 구성에 따라 중 저주파용 및 고주파용의 두 가지 음향센서를 설계하여 $-2^{\circ}C{\sim}35^{\circ}C$의 온도범위에서 온도 변화에 따른 음향 수신 특성을 각각 분석하였다. 음향센서 주요 구성 소재의 온도별 물성치 변화에 대한 영향성을 분석하기 위하여 압전세라믹, 몰딩 및 배플 시편의 온도별 물성치 변화를 측정하였고, 측정된 물성치를 활용하여 온도별 수신감도(Receiving Voltage Sensitivity, RVS) 변화를 유한요소해석 기법을 통하여 해석하였다. 제작된 두 가지 음향센서의 온도별 수신감도 특성을 측정하기 위하여, 내부 수온 및 수압 조정이 가능한 압력 챔버에 음향센서를 설치하고 챔버 내부 수온을 변화시켜가며 수신감도를 측정하였다. 측정 및 분석결과 수중센서의 온도별 수신감도 특성은 몰딩 재료의 음속변화에 주도적으로 영향을 받는 것을 확인하였다.
