  • Purpose: This study aims to propose Kano-SERVQUAL integrated approach as an effective tool for evaluating auto service quality attributes to enhance the use of SERVQUAL. Methods: The Kano-SERVQUAL survey was conducted to evaluate customer perception for 28 auto service quality attributes which were obtained from auto service expert in 'H' company. The correlation analysis of SI(Satisfaction Index), DI(Dissatisfaction Index) and expectation values are conducted in this study. Results: The 28 auto service quality attributes are classified into attractive attributes and one-dimensional attributes. The results of this study show that the correlations between the customers' expectation values and DI is strongly positive correlation with 1% significance level, expectation values and SI is negative correlation with 10% significance level. Conclusion: The results show that the purposed Kano-SERVQUAL integrated approach provides a deeper understanding of service quality attributes in that it distinguishes the customers' expectation values between highly expected attributes(e.g. must-be attribute) and less expected attributes(e.g. attractive attribute).

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the concept of social support of nursing students using a hybrid model and to derive a definition and attributes of social support through theoretical, fieldwork, and final analysis stages. Methods: Twenty-nine studies were analyzed in the theoretical stage. Seventeen in-depth interviews were conducted with nursing students in the fieldwork stage. In the final analysis stage, the concept of social support was defined and the attributes were derived by integrating the theoretical and fieldwork stages. Results: The attributes of social support of nursing students identified in the final analysis consisted of two dimensions and eight attributes. The two dimensions were structural and functional support. The eight attributes were social network, educational, emotional, informational, economic, positive evaluation, self-esteem support, and support by providing a role model provision. The structural dimension included the social network support attribute. The functional dimension included the remaining seven attributes. Educational support and support by providing of a role model provision were newly derived attributes that reflected specific characteristics of nursing students. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, we suggest that researchers should attempt to develop a scale to measure the social support of nursing students.

  • Purpose: This paper compares and discusses the influence on the quality classification of Kano's questionnaire which is used for the Kano model(Kano et al., 1984), the 3-point Likert-scale newly proposed by Kano and the 5-point Likert-scale presented in this study. Methods: For the comparison, the current study conducts a survey of 631 television viewers. The classification results of the three methods are then compared with those of direct classification which is adopted as a standard for classification of quality attributes. Results: The agreement rates between the results using conventional Kano's questionnaire and the results using direct classification is higher than the results using 3-point and 5-point Likert-scales. In addition, the attributes grouped as must-be or attractive in the direct classification appear to be classified as one-dimensional attributes in the Likert-scales. Conclusion: In comparison with the convensional Kano's questionnaire, the Likert-scale questions highly tend to classify the quatity attributes as one-dimensional. Although the classification results of the 3-point and 5-point Likert-scales are the same, the 5-point Likert-scale has the advantage to classify quality attributes in more detail.

  • Purpose - This study is to investigate the effects of consumption values of retailers on the importance of store attributes, and to determine the influence on the consumption values of consumers who shop at complex shopping malls on the empirical and functional attributes in those malls as well as on the influence of on/off-line channels. Research design, data, and methodology - With 344 surveyed questionnaires, this study was conducted by using SPSS 22.0 to verify the reliability and validity of the measured variables. Structural equation model (SEM) was employed as a statistical method for the hypotheses test of this study. Results - The results showed that hedonic value has more influence on the importance of empirical attribute than that of functional attribute in shopping malls. In addition, practical value has more influence on functional attributes than empirical properties of shopping malls. However, these relationships showed the difference in on/off-line channels. As for off-line channels, consumers' consumption values were more influential on empirical attributes, while functional attributes were more important in on-line channels Conclusions - This study analyzed the influence on the importance of the consumption values in store attributes, and the effects of each channel with suggesting practical implications.

A questionnaires was arranged with three separates subject sections, importance degree of knitwears quality, satisfaction degree of purchased knitwears, and demographic factors. Data from 280 questionnaires were used for the statistical analysis. For data analysis, factor analysis, paired-samples t-test and multiple response frequency were conducted. The results were as follows. Knitwears quality factors were classified into six subdivisions by factor analysis; physical functions, yarn and fabric properties, fit, symbol, aesthetic, and usefulness. Quality attributes in purchasing knitwears were considered importantly in order of design, textures, color, price, size, and shape stability, etc. Among quality attributes on knitwears, there were significant differences in importance degree and satisfaction degree; important degree was higher than satisfaction degree to six factors on knitwears quality. • Influencer advertising, which has gained significant attention in academia and industry, is widely adopted as a digital marketing strategy. This study empirically analyzes the impact of perceived influencer channel attributes and ad attributes on the suitability of advertisements and their effects on consumers' positive and negative advertising behaviors. The research aims to identify various factors that can enhance the effectiveness of influencer advertising. The results reveal that among the influencer channel attributes, informativeness and intimacy have a positive impact on ad suitability, while ad clutter has a negative impact. Additionally, ad-influencer fit positively affect ad attention and negatively influences ad avoidance. Based on these findings, companies can enhance the effectiveness of influencer advertising by first selecting influencers who align well with the advertisement and emphasizing informativeness and emotional bonding to improve ad suitability. Moreover, the study suggests that influencer advertising strategies can be effective as long as they avoid excessive ad clutter, as it diminishes ad suitability. Marketing practitioners and advertising planners can utilize these insights to formulate more effective influencer advertising strategies.

  • The objective of this study was to classify dining-out customers' behaviors at ski resorts based on their restaurant selection factors. Data were collected one-on-one via interview questionnaires of 178 customers at the ski resorts. The mean scores of important attributes (4.12) and satisfactory attributes (3.08) for the sport&leisure purpose group were analyzed. For the date&family trip purpose group, the important attributes (4.13) and satisfactory attributes (3.06) were evaluated, resulting in a significant difference between the two visiting-purpose groups by independent t-test (p<0.05). The recognized important attributes for the sport&leisure purpose group were food taste (4.54), hygiene (4.53), menu variety (4.22), menu price (4.15), and convenience (4.12), and the most recognizable satisfactory attributes were related to convenience (3.52), waiting time (3.95), and employee service (3.90). For the date&family trip purpose group, recognized important attributes were hygiene (4.83), food taste (4.67), menu price (4.40), convenient (4.33), menu variety (4.25), waiting time (4.21), and employee service (4.10), and marked satisfactory attributes were convenience (3.65), hygiene (3.31), atmosphere (3.25), employee service (3.23), waiting time (3.17), and food taste (3.00). These results suggest that restaurant selection attributes would be useful tools to restaurant managers in controlling the quality of foodservice and satisfying service requirements for dinning-out customers at ski resorts.
