대학생이 지각한 부모통제가 진로성숙도에 미치는 영향: 자기결정성과 자기효능감의 다중매개효과를 중심으로 (The Effects of Parental Control Perceived by College Students on Career Maturity: Focusing on Multiple Mediating Effects of Self-Determination and Self-Efficacy)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine that multiple mediating effects of self-determination and self-efficacy in the relationship between the parental control and career maturity. In the study, 747 university students in Daegu, Busan and Seoul area were surveyed on their perceived level of parental control, career maturity, self-determination and self-efficacy. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson correlation analysis with SPSS 25.0 program, Hayes'Process Macro program and bootstrapping. The major results of this study were as follows; First, there were significant differences in college student's career maturity by grade, major, experience in career-related services and part-time job experience period. Second, there were significant correlations between parental control(behavioral control and psychological control), career maturity, self-determination and self-efficacy. Third, self-determination and Self-efficacy had multiple mediating effects in the relationship between parental control and career maturity. In conclusion, this study found multiple mediating effects of self-determination and self-efficacy in the relationship between parental control(behavioral control and psychological control) and career maturity. It was also found that parental behavioral control had a positive effect on career maturity by increasing self-determination and self-efficacy while parental psychological control had a negative effect on career maturity by decreasing self-determination and self-efficacy.

유치원 교사의 공감능력과 교사-학부모 관계 및 교사소진 간의 관계: 가정연계효능감의 조절효과 (Kindergarten Teachers' Empathy, Parent-teacher Relationships, and Teacher Burnout: The Moderating Role of Teacher Efficacy in Enlisting Parental Involvement)

  • 본 연구는 유치원 교사의 공감능력과 가정연계효능감이 교사-학부모 관계 인식과 교사소진에 미치는 효과가 어떠한지, 그리고 공감능력과 유치원 교사가 인식하는 교사-학부모 관계 및 교사소진의 관계에서 가정연계효능감의 조절효과가 유의한지를 확인하고자 하는 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 충북지역에 근무하는 공·사립 유치원 교사 208명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였고, JAMOVI 1.6.23을 활용하여 응답자료를 분석하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유치원 교사의 공감능력과 가정연계효능감 모두 교사-학부모 관계 인식에 유의한 정적효과를 보였다. 둘째, 유치원 교사의 공감능력과 교사-학부모 관계 인식에서 가정연계효능감의 유의한 조절효과가 나타났다. 구체적으로 유치원 교사의 가정연계효능감이 높을 때(M+1SD) 공감능력이 높을수록 교사-학부모 관계 인식이 유의하게 높아졌으며, 가정연계효능감이 평균 수준이거나 낮을 때(M-1SD)는 공감능력이 교사-학부모 관계 인식에 미치는 효과가 유의하지 않았다. 셋째, 유치원 교사의 공감능력과 가정연계효능감 모두 교사소진에 유의한 부적효과를 나타냈으며, 공감능력과 교사소진의 관계에서 가정연계효능감의 조절효과는 유의하지 않았다. 본 연구는 유치원 교사가 인식한 교사-학부모 관계와 교사소진에 있어 공감능력과 가정연계효능감의 역할을 확인하고, 특히 공감능력이 교사-학부모 관계 인식에 미치는 효과가 가정연계효능감 수준에 따라 조절됨을 확인함으로써 가정연계효능감의 중요성을 인식하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

아버지의 부모효능감이 자녀의 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향: 가정에서 교육지원활동의 매개효과 (Effects of Father's Parental Efficacy on Children's School Life: Mediating Role of Father's Educational Support at Home)

  • Father participation in child rearing is gaining its importance in the field of child development. Previous literature consistently suggests the importance of parental efficacy and educational support on children's school life. However, studies which that focus exclusively on the role of the father's role are highly limited. Based on previous literature, we hypothesized that parental efficacy would directly and indirectly affect children's school life via parental educational support at home. We aimed to expand on the previous literature by exploring the relations within fathers. Participants were 662 fathers whose children attended elementary, middle, and high school. We measured parental efficacy, educational support at home, and their children's school life were measured. Descriptive statistics were first conducted to investigate the general features of participants as well as the correlations between study variables. The research model was analyzed using structural equation modeling in AMOS 20.0. Results proved the direct effect of father's parental efficacy on father's educational support at home as well as children's school life. Fathers' educational support at home mediated the effect of parental efficacy on children's school life. Our results suggests that fathers who perceive themselves as efficient parents provides a higher level of educational support at home for their children; consequently, children of those fathers in turn adjust better in school and achieve higher grades. Also, the father's parental efficacy also indirectly exerts positive effects on children's school life via heightened educational support at home. An importance of paternal participation and support in child rearing and education was highly suggested. Relevant policy issues regarding paternal educational support were discussed.

아동이 지각한 부모의 과학태도와 신뢰도가 아동의 과학 자기효능감에 미치는 영향 (A Study on Influences of Parental Science Attitudes and Trust Perceived by Children on Their Science Self-Efficacy)

  • This study aimed to explore influences of parental science attitudes and trust perceived by children on their science self-efficacy. In oder to accomplish this purpose, a quantitative research was carried out for elementary gifted and general students using correlation and multiple linear regression analysis. The results were as follows. Firstly, children's science self-efficacy was positively correlated with parental science attitudes and trust perceived by both gifted and general children. Secondly, in the case of gifted children, their science self-efficacy was meaningfully affected by mother's trust, mother's science attitudes, and father's science attitudes perceived by them in that order. On the order hand, general children's science self-efficacy meaningfully affected by mother's trust and mother's science attitudes perceived by them.

미취학 자녀를 둔 어머니의 부모역할만족도 영향요인 (Factors Influencing Parental Satisfaction of Mothers with Preschool Children)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study was to identify degrees of parenting stress, parenting efficacy, parenting behavior and parental satisfaction, and to identify factors influencing parenting satisfaction of mothers who had preschool children. Methods: The research participants were 176 mothers. All of mothers had preschool children, aged 2 to 6 years old, and attended one of 3 day care centers or 2 Kindergartens located in J city. Data were collected by convenience sampling using self-report questionnaires which contained items on general characteristics, parenting stress, parenting efficacy, parenting behavior, and parenting satisfaction. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, correlation, and multiple regression. Results: The average level of parenting satisfaction of mothers with preschool children was $5.38{\pm}0.79$. Positive parenting behavior and affective parenting efficacy were verified factors influencing parental satisfaction. These factors accounted for 41.4% of parental satisfaction. Conclusion: The results indicate that positive parenting behavior and affective parenting efficacy have the biggest impact on parental satisfaction. The results of this study provide the basic data for the development of parental education program aimed at improving parental satisfaction of mothers who have preschool children.

저소득 가정의 부모자원 및 양육스트레스가 양육효능감에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Causal Study of Parenting Efficacy based on the effect of Parental Resources and Parenting Stress in Low income family)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of parental resources and parenting stress on parenting efficacy in low-income families Furthermore, in order to verify whether parental resources function as a resilience factor, a structural model was established to assess the suitability and influence of the variables. A total of 603 parents of children and adolescents between the ages of 9-18 were selected from the data from Children and Adolescents Comprehensive Status Research (2009) by the Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family Affairs. For the analyses, SPSS WIN 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 were utilized. The major results were as follows: First, the suitability of the model was confirmed with variables presenting a satisfying fit. Second, parental resources had a negative effect on parenting stress and a positive effect on parenting efficacy. Third, parenting stress had a negative effect on parenting efficacy. Finally, a test of the structural equation model supports the hypothesis that parental resources have a significant direct effect as well as an indirect effect through parenting stress on parenting efficacy. The implications for further studies and practice were discussed.

  • This study investigates the effect of parental attachment on job seeking stress among the university students and junior college students. We explore the mediating effects of self-efficacy and career maturity on the relations between parental attachment and job seeking stress. We selected 292 university students and 285 junior college students as participants from Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do. All participants completed surveys on the measurement of parental attachment, self-efficacy, career maturity, and job seeking stress. Collected data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation, structural equational models, and Sobel test with SPSS software ver. 18.0 and Amos software ver. 18.0. The major findings are as follow. First, parental attachment had no significant effect on job seeking stress. Second, self-efficacy and career maturity mediated between parental attachment and job seeking stress. In addition, there were significant differences between university students and junior college students regarding the relation between parental attachment and job seeking stress. Junior college student's career maturity had a greater influence than that of the university students. The findings of this study suggest that intervention to address self-efficacy and career maturity are important to resolve college students' job seeking stress; in addition, school type should be considered to understand job seeking stress.

  • 본 연구는 여성 한부모의 사회자본이 자녀유능감에 미치는 영향을 알아보고, 그 과정에서 부모효능감이 어떠한 역할을 하는지를 파악하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 즉, 여성 한부모의 사회자본이 자녀유능감에 직접적인 영향을 미치는지, 부모효능감을 매개로 간접적인 영향을 주는지에 대해 검증하였다. 구조방정식 모형을 통해 경로를 분석한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 여성 한부모의 사회자본은 부모효능감에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 여성 한부모의 사회자본은 부모효능감을 매개로 해서 자녀유능감에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 여성 한부모의 사회자본은 직접적으로는 자녀유능감에 영향을 미치지 않고 부모효능감을 통해서 간접적으로 자녀유능감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, 여성 한부모의 사회자본이 자녀유능감에 미치는 영향에 있어서 부모효능감이 완전매개역할을 하는 것으로 입증되었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 여성 한부모의 자녀유능감을 촉진시키기 위한 실천적 함의들이 논의 되었다.

  • Purpose: The study was done to explore the effect of perception of parental rearing attitude and social support on self-efficacy and stress among school-aged children, then to supply information for health promotion of children and to promote multi-cultural communication between Korea and China. Methods: The participants for this study were 180 elementary students each, from Korea and China. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, $X^2$test, t-test, correlation analysis and AMOS. Results: Social support had a direct effect on self-efficacy for both Korean and Chinese children. In Korea parental rearing attitude had greater direct effect on stress than social support and self-efficacy. But in China only, parental rearing attitude had direct effect on stress. Conclusion: These findings provide support for perception of parental rearing attitude, social support, and self-efficacy as predictive variables of stress in Korean and Chinese school-aged children.

부모의 학업성취압력이 초등학생의 자기효능감에 미치는 영향 : 목표지향성의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Relationship of Parental Academic Achievement Pressure to Self-efficacy of Elementary Students : Mediation Effects of Achievement Goals)

  • The present study examined the relationship between parental academic achievement pressure and self-efficacy mediated by student's achievement goal orientation among elementary school students. The 638 participants were fifth graders living in a metropolitan area. Analyses revealed that children who were high both in performance-goal and mastery-goal orientation reported highest perceived parental academic achievement pressure and self-efficacy. Performance-goal orientation played a mediation role in the relationship between parental academic achievement pressure and self-efficacy, while mastery-goal orientation did not. The limitations of the present study and suggestions for future research were discussed.
