30대 미혼성인자녀가 지각한 부모-자녀분화, 표현된 정서가 자녀의 심리적 우울에 미치는 영향 (A Study of the Effects on Premarital Adult Children Aged Thirties Psychological Depression by Parents-Children Differentiation and Expressed Emotion)

  • The Purpose of this study was to explore the effects of differentiation, emotion over involvement(expressed emotion), and criticism between middle-or-old aged parent and child, by relation of emotional system, on child's psychological depression. The subject of this study were m premarital adult children over 30 years old. The major findings of this study were as follows. First. it was found that mother-child differentiation was more perceptive than that of father-child. With psychological depression, expressed emotion within family and criticism were shown average score that was lower than middle score. Second, among demographic characteristics, there are significant differences premarital adult children's sex, education, income, family type, father's education, and parents' marital status. Third, as the result of regression analysis, the higher level of psychological depression when the lower differentiation between parent-child, the higher expressed emotion over involvement within family and criticism. Based on the findings in this study, the relation of emotional system is very important. Therefore, it is necessary to consider the therapeutic intervention and relation improvement program when individual and family counseling about parent-child are going on.

유아교육 공교육화에 대한 유치원과 초등학교 교사와 부모의 인식 (A Survey on Teacher's and Parent's Recognition of Kindergarten and Elementary School about Early Childhood Education to Public One)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the teacher's and parent's recognition of kindergarten and elementary school about the public education in early childhood education. Especially they included the recognition of concept and necessity, preconsideration, and the direction of future policy of early childhood education to public one. The subjects were 182 teachers and 190 parents in kindergarten and elementary school in Korea. The data was analyzed by Frequency, Percentage, and Chi-Square. The main results were as follows; 1. Teachers and parents defined the concept of public education of the early childhood education as a system which puts a direction in operation and support the finances of national and local government for public and private kindergarten. In addition, teachers and parents thought that the public education was necessary because early childhood was important in developmental aspects. 2. Teachers and parents insisted that the expansion of understanding about public education should be preconsidered and various early childhood programs should be developed. 3. Teachers and parents also agreed that the public education policy should be based on the model and should be progressed sequentially. But they distrusted the current policy.

부모-교사 관계가 영아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 양육효능감에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Parent-Teacher Relationships on Mothers' Parenting Efficacy)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of parent-teacher relationships on mothers' parenting efficacy especially for toddlers. Methods: 225 mothers of toddlers completed questionnaires on parent-teacher relationships and parenting efficacy. This study used technical statistics, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis in order to analyze the collected data. Results: First, there was a significant correlation between parent-teacher relationships and mothers' parenting efficacy. Second, the parent-teacher relationships was an important factor in predicting mothers' parenting efficacy. In particular, when a teacher and mother develop practical collaboration for caring for and educating a child, the mothers' parenting efficacy was higher. Conclusion/Implications: These findings indicate that the parent-teacher relationship is a significant factor in order to improve the quality of parenting. The results especially support the importance of collaboration between teachers and parents and suggest that we need to find practical ways for collaborating in the field. Limitations of this study and implications for future research were discussed.

중학생의 부모-자녀 애착과 자기통제력이 문제행동에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Parent-Adolescent Attachment and Self-Control on Problem Behavior in Middle School Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the attachment of middle school students to their parents, their self-control, problem behavior, and the mediating effect of self-control on the relationship between parent-adolescent attachment and problem behavior. Method: Data were collected by questionnaires from 467 students in middle schools from May 19 to 30, 2008. Data were analyzed by Pearson's correlation coefficient and multiple regression procedures. Result: 1. The students investigated received a mean score of 2.76 and 3.01 on attachment for fathers and mothers respectively. They received a mean score of 3.32 on self-control. The most prevalent self-perceived problem behavior among the students was going home late at night without permission followed by bullying friends for no reason and drinking. 2. Among parent-adolescent attachment, self-control and problem behavior, parent-adolescent attachment had a positive correlation to self-control and a negative correlation to problem behavior. 3. Self-control had a mediating effect on the relationship between parent-adolescent attachment and problem behavior. Conclusion: Parent-adolescent attachment influenced problem behavior through the mediating effect of self-control, and is expected to lay the foundation for the prevention of adolescent problem behavior.

한부모 어머니의 사회·경제적 배경과 교육적 관여의 관계에서 사회관계망 기능의 매개효과: 양부모 가정 어머니와의 비교 연구 (Mediating Effects of the Functions of Parent's Social Networks between Parent's Socioeconomic Status and Parent Involvement: Comparison of Single-mother and Two-parent Families)

  • 본 연구는 초등학교 고학년 자녀를 둔 어머니가 맺는 사회관계망 기능 특성이 어머니의 사회·경제적 배경과 교육적 관여 행동을 어떻게 매개하는지 한부모 가정 어머니와 양부모 가정 어머니를 대상으로 비교 분석하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 서울과 인천지역의 초등학교 5. 6학년 학생을 자녀로 둔 한부모 가정 어머니 132명과 양부모 가정 어머니 164명이었다. 본 연구에서는 부모의 교육적 관여 행동을 교육환경제공, 학업지도, 자녀교육지원 등을 포함한 가정 중심 교육관여와 자녀 학교에서의 교육활동참관, 교육활동지원, 교원과의 의사소통 등 학교 중심 관여로 구분하여 살펴보았다. 또한, 어머니의 사회관계망 기능 특성이 사회·경제적 배경과 교육적 관여 사이를 매개하는지 알아보고자 AMOS 18.0 프로그램을 사용하여 구조 모형을 검증하였다. 분석결과, 한부모 어머니 집단에서 어머니의 사회관계망 기능 특성은 사회·경제적 배경과 가정관여의 관계, 그리고 학교관여와의 관계를 각각 완전 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 양부모 어머니 집단에서는 어머니 사회관계망의 기능 특성이 사회·경제적 배경과 가정관여와의 관계를 부분 매개하였으나, 학교관여와의 관계에서는 매개효과를 나타내지 못했다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 저소득 한부모 어머니들을 대상으로 사회관계망 지원 기능을 확충함으로써 교육적 관여 수준을 향상시킬 수 있는 실제적 개입방안을 마련하는 데 시사점을 논의하였다.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the direct and indirect effects of premarital adult child's perceived self-differentiation and parent-child dynamics of emotional system on trait anxiety. The subjects of the study numbered 277, and correlation and path analysis was used with SPSS 10.0. The major findings were as follows: 1. It was shown that self-differentiation, over involvement and perceived criticism of premarital adult children were correlated with trait anxiety. And, among demographic variables, education, income, and marital status of the subjects' parents were related with trait anxiety. 2. Parent-child differentiation, over involvement, perceived criticism, and sex had direct effects on premarital adult child's self-differentiation. The variables that had direct effects on trait anxiety, which was the final dependent variable were self-differentiation, parent-child differentiation, perceived criticism, and income while over involvement an indirect effect on it.

국내 다문화가정 자녀를 위한 이중언어교육 연구동향 -이주부모나라 언어교육을 중심으로- (Research trends of bilingual education for children from multicultural families : focused on foreigner parent's language education)

  • 본 연구는 최근에 많은 관심을 받고 있는 국내 이중언어교육의 연구동향을 알아보고자 시행되었다. 본 연구에서는 이중언어교육에서도 이주 부모나라 언어교육을 중심으로 문헌분석을 시행하였다. 이를 위해 국내 등재후보 이상 학술지에 게재된 총 36편의 논문을 분석하였다. 연구결과로는 먼저, 국내 다문화가정 자녀를 위한 이중언어교육에 관련된 논문은 2009년을 기점으로 나타나기 시작했고, 지금까지 꾸준히 4~6편의 논문이 있었으며 2014년에 11편(31%)으로 가장 많았다. 둘째, 대부분(75%) 관련연구 논문들이 언어학 관련 학술지와 아동교육 관련 학술지에 게재되었다. 셋째, 연구방법에서 질적연구와 양적연구방법이 비슷하게 사용되었다. 넷째, 연구대상에서 24편(67%)은 다문화가정 구성원을 중심으로 고찰하였다. 그중 10편은 부모와 자녀에 대하여 동시에 연구하였고, 9편(225%)은 부모만 연구대상으로 하였고, 5편(14%)이 자녀를 연구대상으로 삼았다. 다섯째, 연구내용에서 이중언어 교육 프로그램 31%, 이중언어 교육문제 31%, 상호작용 22%, 정책적 제안이 17%를 차지했다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 연구결과가 지니는 의의와 학교 및 교육기관에서 다문화가정을 위한 이중언어교육 발전방향에 대하여 논의하였다.

원장역량, 기관 내 자원, 학부모의 기대 및 참여가 영아-교사관계에 미치는 영향: 영아교사의 코칭역량의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Influence of Director Management Competency, Institutional Resources, and Parent Expectation and Participation on Infant-Teacher Relationships: Focusing on the Mediating Effects of Coaching Competency of Infant Teachers)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the influences which were child care center infant teacher's coaching competency, director management competency, institutional resources, and parent expectation and participation that have on infant-teacher relationships. The subjects in this study were 379 infant teachers working in child care centers across the country. A director management competency questionnaire, institutional resources questionnaire, parent expectation and participation questionnaire, infant-teacher relationships questionnaire, and coaching competency questionnaire were used for this study. For the research analysis, frequency, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ coefficient, and Pearson's correlation were calculated and regression analysis were conducted. The results are as follows. Firstly, the influence of director management competency on infant-teacher relationships is completely mediated through infant teacher's coaching competency. Secondly, the influence of institutional resources on infant-teacher relationships is completely mediated through infant teacher's coaching competency. Thirdly, the influence of parent expectation and participation on infant-teacher relationships is completely mediated through infant teacher's coaching competency.

10대 자녀에 대한 부모의 의사소통행위 분석 -부모교육과 관련하여- (AnAnalysis on the Parents' Communication Behavior with Their Teen-aged Children for Parent Education)

  • The purposes of this study are to investigate the parents' communication behavior with their teen-aged child and the effects of the demographic and socio variables on it concerning with the parent education. A sample of 599 teen-aged children was obtained from the elementary, middle and high schools in the city of Seoul. Mean, t-test and F-test were used for data analysis. The major findings can be summurized as follows : The scores of parents' communication behavior are neither high nor low, namely, are not especially desirable. And there are differences in communication behavior by mother's age and schooling, differences in mother's communication behavior by father's age, schooling and occupation, differences in mother's communication behavior by child' sex and age. According to the above findings, it is necessary for all parents with teen-aged children to have the parental communication education, particularly for father with the older child.

안양시 일부 보육시설 영유아의 당류 함유식품 섭취 및 식습관 실태 - 보육시설 영유아의 부모 대상 설문조사 - (Dietary Habit and Food Intake Status of Sugar-rich Foods among Children in Childcare Facilities in Anyang City - Survey of Parents -)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide the basic information for developing sugar related nutrition education programs for children in child-care facilities and their parents. The results showed that the total score of parent's dietary attitudes towards sugar-rich foods was 17.94 and the total score of parent's nutritional knowledge was 3.67. A positive relationship was observed among items of parent's dietary attitudes (p<0.01), and some correlations were also observed between the total score of parent's nutritional knowledge and the total score of parent's dietary attitudes (p<0.05 or p<0.01). The total average score of children's eating behaviors for sugar-rich foods was 23.98, and the item with the highest score was 'I often eat candy, chocolate and jelly'. For children, food that received the highest preference was chocolate, and soft drinks received the lowest preference. The most frequently consumed food item was candy or caramel, and the least frequently consumed food item was soft drinks. There were positive correlation among the total score of children's eating behaviors, food preferences, and food intake frequency (p<0.01). When parent's tried to reduce the sugar intake, children's total score of eating behaviors (p<0.001) and food intake frequency (p<0.001) for sugar-rich food was lower. We conclude that parent's dietary attitudes may influence children's eating behaviors, food preferences, and food intake frequency for sugar-rich foods.
