The extruded cement panel, which has many advantages as a prefabricated method, has been limited in its application due to its low fire-resistance. However, an extruded cement panel produced by mixing a-hemihydrate gypsum offers dramatically improved fire-resistance and is expected to have wide-ranging applications in the construction sector as an interior material or partition wall between housing units. Sound insulation performance is very important for the partition wall between housing units. In this study, the sound insulation performance of the extruded cement panel produced through the mixture of a-hemihydrate gypsum is reviewed in order to determine its usability for a partition wall between housing units and for interior materials. Through the review it was found that the wall formed using the extruded cement panels produced by mixing the a-hemihydrate gypsum have ★★★ class in sound insulation test, equal or superior compared with the other two types of extruded cement panel walls currently available in the market.

We developed a home electric panel board with surge protection device to protect home electric appliances from transient overvoltages and electromagnetic(EM) noise. In this paper, electrical characteristics of the home electric panel board are described. From the performance test using a combination surge generator standardized in IEC 610004-5, it is confirmed that the proposed home panel board has an excellent surge protection performance. Also, EM noise reduction characteristics of the panel board in ranges from 150 kHz to 30 MHz is estimated by using a network analyser, and the results showed that the panel board has an over 20 45 noise reduction performance.

The aerodynamic characteristics of a T-50 aircraft configuration are investigated by a subsonic panel method. Panel methods are best applicable to the lifting surfaces such as wings and airfoils. Source and doublets are used in the present code as a basic singularities of the panel technique. The panel method is first assessed by applying it to several benchmark problems for which other solutions and experimental data are available, such as a swept wing and wing body configuration. The prediction results are compared with experimental data and show good agreement in all cases considered. Finally, the method is applied to a T-50 aircraft configuration and excellent agreement with flight test data in lift coefficients is found.
When the number of parameters in the time series model are diverse, it is hard to forecast because of the increasing error by a parameter estimation. If the homogeneity hypothesis which was obtained from the same model about severeal data for the time series is selected, it is easy to get the predictive value better. Nonlinear time-series panel data for each parameter for each time series, since there are so many parameters that are present, and the large number of parameters according to the parameter estimation error increases the accuracy of the forecast deteriorated. Panel present in the time series of multiple independent homogeneity is satisfied by a comprehensive time series to estimate and to test of the parameters. For studying about the homogeneity test for the m independent non-linear of the time series panel data, it needs to set the model and to make the normal conditions for the model, and to derive the homogeneity test statistic. Finally, it shows to obtain the limit distribution according to ${\chi}^2$ distribution. In actual analysis,, we can examine the result for the homogeneity test about nonlinear time series panel data which are 2 groups of stock price data.

The seismic reinforcing system is developed to prevent damage to electric panels which are installed on the access floor and are essential to the operation of various basic facilities such as electric power and communication etc., from earthquakes. The seismic capacity of seismic reinforcing system is verified through the shaking table test. The seismic reinforcing system is intended for the electric panel on the access floor, and installation is possible without movement and power interruption of the electric panel. The enveloped response spectrum is adopted considering the location of the electric panel in the building as input motion for the shaking table test. The shaking table tests are carried out with two electric panels that can be considered representative of general electric panels, and two types of access floors such as wood panel and steel panel, which are commonly used in the industrial field. As a result of tests, it is confirmed that the seismic reinforcing system secures the seismic safety of electric panels by preventing the overturning of electric panels during and after the shaking table tests. In the event that the seismic reinforcing system is applied to the electric panel on the access floor, damage to the electric panel from an earthquake can be effectively prevented, which can greatly contribute to the stable operation of domestic basic facilities.

This study aims at developing a new seismic resistant method by using precast concrete wall panels for existing low-rise, reinforced concrete beam-column buildings such as school buildings. Three quasi-static hysteresis loading tests were performed on one unreinforced beam-column specimen and two reinforced specimens with U-type precast wall panels. Top shear connection of the PC panel was required to show the composite strength of RC column and PC wall panel. However, the strength of the connection did not influence directly on the ultimate loading capacities of the specimens in the positive loading because the loaded RC column push the side of PC wall panel and it moved horizontally before the shear connector receive the concentrated shear force in the positive loading process. Under the positive loading sequence(push loading), the reinforced concrete column and PC panel showed flexural strength which is larger than 97% of the composite section because of the rigid binding at the top of precast panel. Similar load-deformation relationship and ultimated horizontal load capacities were shown in the test of PR1-LA and PR1-LP specimens because they have same section dimension and detail at the flexural critical section. An average of 4.7 times increase in the positive maximum loading(average 967kN) and 2.7 times increase in the negative maximum loading(average 592.5kN) had resulted from the test of seismic resistant specimens with anchored and welded steel plate connections than that of unreinforced beam-column specimen. The maximum drift ratios were also shown between 1.0% and 1.4%.

Nowadays in Korea, KS F 2271 has been using for the test of fire safety performance of sandwich panels. Smoke toxicity test is the test for the toxicity evaluation of smoke and hazardous gas, caused by combustion of building materials and finishing materials. Smoke toxicity can be evaluated by the mean incapacitation time of mice; however this method is not a quantitative way. This test result can be influenced by the health status of mice and test condition. Specific optical density can be quantitatively measured by ISO 5659-2 single chamber method and toxic gases can be quantitatively measured by FTIR analysis. In this study, specific optical density of sandwich panel insulations, which are widely used in Korea, were tested using the ISO 5659-2 single chamber test method and compared with each test. Also, in the second test of three tests for each specimen, FTIR analysis was performed and quantitative test results(HCl, $NO_2$, etc) were compared with each test result.
In this paper, the relationships between volumetric mixing ratio of rubber chip and physical and mechanical properties of wood/rubber composite panel was examined in order to investigate the mixture characteristics of wood and rubber chip. Because of the specific gravity of rubber differed from wood chip, physical properties of wood/rubber composite panel was shown very different values by mixing rate of chip element. Specific gravity in air-dry of composite panel was increased rapidly as volumetric percent of rubber chip was increased. Moisture content of composite panel was decreased as volumetric percent of rubber chip element was increased. This results was considered that wood weight is light and porosity material for moisture absorption. Compressive strength and modulus of rupture in bending test were decreased as volumetric percent of rubber chip increased. By mixing ratio control of chip elements, various wood/rubber composite panel can be applicable to every interior materials such as subfloor, playground, and exterior materials such as road blocks for recreational facilities in garden and forest and city parks.
Recently due to dramatically increasing demand of liquid crystal display (LCD) panel in IT industry, the used LCD panel glass has been wasted from electronic items, and also panel glass of poor quality during manufacturing process. The wasted LCD panel glass was crushed in the range of 0.42 to 2mm and evaluated for its usefulness as a aggregate in production of cement concrete brick. Cement concrete specimens with various mixing ratios of weathered granite soil, LCD panel glass and cement were cured in wetness for 7 days at $40^{\circ}C$ and then tested for uniaxial comprehensive strength (UCS)(KS F 4004 method). Specimen with a mixing ratio, 1:6:3, of weathered granite, LCD panel glass and cement, respectively, showed the highest average in the UCS test($26.51N/mm^2$). It is much higher than that of commercial brick without glass($17.00N/mm^2$). Conclusively waste LCD panel glass can be reutilized economically as a raw building material of good quality.
