Design of a graphical operating system for the NC controller (NC용 graphical OS 설계)

  • In this paper, an operating system is designed for NC controllers. Host computer is the IBM-PC, and the controller panel is designed in graphics mode to look easily for users. Pull-down menu is selected, which is useful to minimize a mistake made by users, so users can use NC controller more effectively. Also, many functions are proposed, such as NC editor for programming the NC program directly, simulation function for testing editted NC program, and new key-pad that appropriates for the functions of OS.

  • In this paper author develops digital governor for medium speed diesel engine. The system is composed of MPU main control module RPM measuring module PWM driving module driver module for F.O. rack drive motor key pad and display module. Experiment results of speed control on 6cyl 1800pm 250kw Daewoo MAN diesel erigine were satisfied for design speci-fications and system could be developed for commercial usage after taking more experiments and endurance tests under various environments.

  • 범용 컴퓨터가 아닌 홈 네트워크로 연결된 정보가전용 실시간 시스템에 내장되는 운영체제인 정보가전용 실시간 운영체제는 디지털 TV, 웹 TV, WebPad, PDA, Smart Phone 등에 사용된다. 그러나 정보가전용 실시간 운영체제는 선점형 스케줄링, 멀티 태스킹 및 태스크간 예측 가능한 동기화 방법 그리고 짧고 제한된 인터럽트 처리와 작은 실행 이미지 등과 같은 특징들을 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 특징들을 만족하는 정보가전용 실시간 운영체제를 DVD 플레이어에 적용하여 설계 및 구현한 내용을 기술한다.

  • In this paper, a numerical method for evaluating the efficiency of vibration reduction of substructure under slab track is developed for optimal design of floating slab track. The equation of motion for train and track interaction system is derived by applying compatibility condition at the contact points between wheels and rails. The train is modelled by 3-masses system and the track by continuous support beam system. Numerical analyses are carried out to investigate the effect of train speed, stiffness and damping of slab-pad, and track irregularity upon vibration reduction in substructure under the track.

  • 본 논문은 AGV(Automated Guided Vehicle)용 규격에 적합한 자기 유도 방식의 무선 전력 전송 패드 설계 디자인을 제안한다. 제한된 공간에서의 최적설계를 위해 코일의 직경, 턴수, 페라이트의 배치에 따른 관련 파라미터의 상관관계를 분석하며 유한요소해석 시뮬레이션을 통해 대해 비교 및 선정한다. 제안한 설계 결과는 3kW급 하드웨어를 제작하여 검증하며, 발열 및 효율을 확인한다.

  • We used a three-dimensional inductance extraction program, Fasthenry for optimal design of the spiral inductors on silicon substrate. The inductance and quality factor of the spiral inductors with various design parameters were calculated so that the optimal parameter value was determined. The spiral inductors then were fabricated using different foundary processes and were measured using the network analyzer and microwave probes. The pad and other parasitics of measurement system were de-embedded using the y-parameter calibration technique. the inductors fabricated using the LG 0.8um process and HP 0.5um process showed the quality factor of 5.8 and 3, respectively. Finally the equivalent circuit farameters of the spiral inductors on silicon substrate were extracted from the measurement data using the matlab.

  • In this paper, We have designed an advanced circuits for controlling the Ink Nozzle of Printer Head We can fully increase the number of nozzle by reducing the number of Input/Output PADs using the proposed new circuit. The proposed circuit is tested with only 20 nozzles to evaluate functional test using FPGA sample chip. The new circuit architecture can be estimated. Full circuit for controlling 320 nozzles was designed and simulated from ASIC full custom methodology, then the circuit was fabricated by applying 3${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ CMOS process design rule.

Field Test on Rigidities of Piers in High-speed Railway (고속전철 교각의 강성도 산정을 위한 현장실험)

  • The rigidity of pier is important in the analysis of rail on high speed railway bridges. This study is being performed because of followings. 1) Actual longitudinal stiffness of the structure including substructure should be considered in the calculation of longitudinal stresses in rails. 2) There are many uncertainties in piers and foundations for design. 3) Actual guideline for the design of piers is necessary. 4) Measurement on the rigidity of pier according to the types of pier, foundation and soil-condition is needed. Curve for rigidity will be obtained through this study and applied for actual design as the guideline. Stresses in rails can be estimates accurately. A pair of piers, which consists of pot-bearing for fixed support and pad-bearing for movable support, is loaded by steel frame through steel wire ropes. The responses which are intended to measure in the field test are displacements, forces and tilts on the top of piers.

  • The effect of manufacturing parameters on friction characteristics of motorcycle break system was studied using a disk-on-pad type friction tester. Such parameters conditions have an effect on the frictional factor such as number of ventilated disk hole, applied load, sliding speed, and sliding distance. However, it is difficult to know the mutual relation of these factors. In this study, the friction characteristics using design of experiment containing 4 elements were investigated for an optimal condition for the best motorcycle break system employing regression analysis method. From this study, the result was shown that the applied load in frictional factors was the most important, next to sliding speed, number of ventilated disk hole.

  • The effect of manufacturing parameters such as molding and curing conditions on friction characteristics of friction materials was studied using a pad-on-disk type friction tester. Friction materials containing 15 ingredients were investigated for an optimal manufacturing condition for the best friction characteristics employing Taguchi robust experimental design. The main effects were different for mechanical properties and friction characteristics and were strongly influenced by manufacturing conditions. An optimum manufacturing condition was obtained to achieve the best friction characteristics concerning mechanical properties(hardness, porosity, wear resistance), friction stability, and change of rotor temperature.
