전기전도도 기준에 의한 PSE육과 정상육의 육질 및 도체 특성에 관한 연구 (Characteristics of Technical Meat Quality Parameters & Carcass Traits between the PSE and Normal Pork Classified by Conductance Threshold)

  • The two hundreds and twenty two pork carcasses from commercial breed were tested to compare technical quality characteristics and relationships with meat quality parameters between PSE and normal pork classified buy 24hr postmortem conductivity($C_u$). In characteristics of PSE and normal pork by $C_u$ value, highly significant differences were found in NPPC color scale and CIE L*(p<0.001), moderately significant differences in $C_3$ and cooking loss(p<0.01), and significant differences were in $C_6$, CIE b*, WHC and juiciness(p<0.05). In correlation coefficients between $C_u$ and other meat quality determining factors, $C_u$ was poorly related with $pH_1$($R^2$=0.28, p<0.001), CIE a*($R^2$=0.14, p<0.05), b*($R^2$=0.28, p<0.01) and cooking loss($R^2$=0.26, p<0.01). Also, relatively low correlation coefficients were observed in $pH_u$($R^2$=0.32, p<0.001), WHC($R^2$=0.39, p<0.001) and juiciness($R^2$=0.41, p<0.001). Moderately high coefficients were found in NPPC color scale($R^2$=0.59, p<0.001) and CIE L*($R^2$=0.58, p<0.001).

  • The resonance structure of the preionization spectrum of $H_2$ in the region immediately above its ionization threshold, ($^2{\sum}_{g}^{+}$, $\nu^+=0$, $N^+=0$) converging toward its rotationally excited ($\nu^+=0$, $N^+=2$) limit, is complicated due to perturbation by the vibrationally excited levels $7_{p\pi}\;v=1$ and $57_{p\pi}\;v=2$. The spectra of interlopers are separated from the rotationally preionizing Rydberg series to allow analysis of this complex resonance structure. Although only two vibrationally excited levels perturb the rotational preionization spectrum, at least 6 interloper Rydberg series participate in the complex spectrum over most of its energy range and more interloper series participate at a narrow range around $124500cm^{-1}$ in the spectrum. To allow handling of an arbitrary number of interloper series, MATLAB$^{(R)}$'s symbolic operation is used to perform on-the-fly formulation.

  • 가변 입력전압을 이용하여 ISFET의 문턱전압을 검출하는 새로운 개념의 ISFET array chip을 설계하였다. 설계된 칩은 240개의 pH-ISFET와 신호처리회로를 포함하며, 증가된 신뢰성 및 정확성, 디지탈 출력 그리고 멀티센서로의 응용성 등의 특성을 가진다. 칩제조를 위해 CMOS 공정을 응용한 새로운 공정을 설계하였고 칩을 layout 하였다.

A Differential Current-to-Time Interval Converter Using Current-Tunable Schmitt Triggers

  • A differential current-to-time interval converter is presented for current mode sensors. It consists of a ramp voltage generator, a current mode sensor, a reference current source, two current-tunable Schmitt triggers, a one-shot multivibrator, and two logic gates. The design principle is to apply a ramp voltage to each input of the two current-tunable Schmitt triggers whose threshold voltages are proportional to the drain current values of the current mode sensors. A proposed circuit converts a current change in the ISFET biosensor into its equivalent pulse width change. A prototype circuit built using TSMC 0.18 nm CMOS process exhibit a conversion sensitivity amounting to $726.9{\mu}s/pH$ over pH variation range of 2-12 and a linearity error less than ${\pm}0.05%$.

  • In this work, we demonstrate 800V 4H-SiC power DMOSFETs with several structural alterations to observe static DC characteristics, such as a threshold voltage ($V_{TH}$) and a figure of merit ($V_B^2/R_{SP,ON}$). To optimize the static DC characteristics, we consider four design parameters; (a) the doping concentration ($N_{CSL}$) of current spreading layer (CSL) beneath the p-base region, (b) the thickness of p-base ($t_{BASE}$), (c) the doping concentration ($N_J$) and width ($W_J$) of a JFET region, (d) the doping concentration ($N_{EPI}$) and thickness ($t_{EPI}$) of epi-layer. Design parameters are optimized using 2D numerical simulations and the 4H-SiC DMOSFET structure results in high figure of merit ($V_B^2/R_{SP,ON}$>~$340MW/cm^2$) for a power MOSFET in $V_B{\sim}1200V$ range.

압축상태에서 MPEG2 P 프레임을 H.263 P 프레임으로 변환하기 위한 가이드 탐색 방법 연구 (A Study on the Guided Search Method for Transcoding MPEG2 P frame to H.263 P frame in a Compressed Domain)

  • 본 논문은 이 기종간의 표준 압축형식을 변환하는데 있어 실시간 변환이 가능하도록 하며 프레임의 특성을 이용하여 압축률을 좀 더 높여 보는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 이 기종간의 표준 압축형식 변환으로는 압축률이 낮은 MPEG2에서 압축률이 높은 H.263으로의 변환을 시도하였다. MPEG2에서 H.263으로 변환한 후 좀 더 압축률을 높이기 위하여 분석한 결과 MPEG2의 P 프레임내의 인트라 매크로블록 수가 H.263의 P 프레임의 인트라 매크로블록보다 많다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 인트라 매크로블록은 P 프레임을 생성하는 과정에서 움직임 예측 과정의 결과치가 임계치에 미치지 못했을 경우에 생성되는 것으로써 공간적인 압축 과정을 통하여 압축되기 때문에 P 프레임의 압축률에 큰 영향을 준다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 P 프레임의 압축률을 높이기 위하여 MPEG2 P 프레임에 생성된 인트라 매크로블록의 개수를 줄여 보았다. 이를 위한 해결방법으로써 P 프레임내의 인트라 매크로블록 변환 과정에 움직임 예측 과정을 삽입하여 변환하였다. 그리고 움직임 예측 과정의 복잡도를 줄이기 위하여 복원과정에서 알 수 있는 이웃하는 매크로블록의 정보와 움직임 벡터 정보를 이용하여 가이드 탐색 방법을 제안하였다. 실험 결과 MPEG2에서 H.263으로 변환이 실시간으로 이루어짐을 확인하였다.

Effects of Cement Alkalinity on the Time-to-Corrosion of Reinforcing Steel in Concrete under Chloride Exposure

  • A series of classical G109 type concrete specimens was exposed to cyclic wet and dry ponding with 15 w/o NaCl solution for approximately five years. Mix design variables included 1) three cement alkalinities (EqA of 0.97, 0.52, and 0.36) and 2) three water-cement ratios (0.50, 0.41, and 0.37). To determine the corrosion initiation time, corrosion potential and macro-cell current between top and bottom bars were monitored. Subsequent to corrosion initiation, specimens were autopsied and visually inspected. Concrete powder samples were collected from top rebar trace and chloride concentration was measured. Also, time-to-corrosion, $T_i$, for specimens of the individual mix designs was represented using Weibull analysis. Time-to-corrosion was a distributed parameter; and because of this, corrosion initiation of four identical specimens for each mix varied, often over a relatively wide range. Specimens fabricated using the lowest water cement ratio and the highest alkalinity cement exhibited the longest time-to-corrosion initiation and the highest chloride threshold levels. Time-to-corrosion did not increase monotonically with cement alkalinity, however, presumably as a consequence of relatively high $Cl^-$ binding in the lower pore water pH range. The chloride threshold level, $Cl_{th}$, increased with increasing $T_i$ and, consequently, was greatest for the highest cement alkalinity specimens.

  • The purpose of this paper is to improve the P-wave detection capacity using wavelet transform. The first procedure is to remove baseline drift using the median filter. The second procedure is to cancel ECG's QRS-T complex with ECG's QRS-T complex templete to get P-wave candidate. Before we cancelled out the QRS-T complex, we estimated the best matching between templete and QRS-T complex to minimize the error. Then, Harr wavelet was used to eleminate the high frequency noise of ECG wave form cancelled the QRS-T complex. Finally, P-wave was discriminated and confirmed by threshold value. By using this method, We can got the around 95.1% P-wave detection.

$Fe_3O_4$와 Chloroprene Rubber (CR)를 기초로한 탄성 전도체의 제조 및 특성연구 (Preparation and Characterization of Elastomeric Conductor based on Magnetite and Chloroprene Rubber)

  • 본 연구에서는 $FeCl_2{\cdot}4H_2O,\;(CH_2)_6N_4$ (hexamethylene tetramine) 그리고 $NaNO_2$로부터 $Fe_3O_4$ (magnetite)를 제조하고 결정성 CR고무에 배합하여 전도성 충전제의 함량이 물성에 미치는 효과와 전기전도도 (${\sigma}$)의 온도 의존성을 조사하였다. 최소 최적 혼합비(percolation threshold, $P_c$) 개념이 본 연구에서 제조한 전도성 입자가 충전된 복합체에 적용되며, 혼합물내 $Fe_3O_4$의 분율이 27%를 초과할 때 전기전도도가 급격히 증가함을 확인하였다. 전기전도도의 온도 의존성은 $P_c$ 또는 그 이하에서 열적으로 활성화되며 magnetite가 CR 고무의 강화 및 전도성 충전제로서의 역할을 할 수 있음을 조사하였다. 또한, 50 phr의 magnetite가 충전된 복합체가 최적의 물리적 가교점으로 인하여 가장 우수한 인장강도와 파단시 신장율을 보였으며 모듈러스가 magnetite 의 강화효과 및 블랜드물의 가황 토오크 곡선으로부터 얻은 점도와 관련이 있음을 확인하였다.

High gain pentacene inverter using different pentacene-thickness in several dielectrics
