Lee Yeung-Hi is one of the most influential intellectuals in the modern history of Korea. Lee Yeung-Hi was evaluated as "the Teacher of thought" or "Culprit of consciousness" over the past half century in Korea. At the core of Lee Young-Hi's philosophy and idea is humanism, freedom of express and social responsibility of intellectuals. Lee Yeung-Hi lived lifelong journalists, journalism professors. But the study of Lee Yeung-Hi's media activities and media practice, 'Idea of Journalism' are insufficient. This paper has deeply studied the 'Idea of journalism' and 'Writing of social practise' of professor Lee.

Traffic accident by aging drivers is expected to be on the rise rapidly as the number of aging drivers is rising along with the aging trend being progressed. In this study, traffic accident features depending on the classification of aging population and non aging one was evaluated. As a result of this evaluation, effect factors influencing over the aging population was found to be expressed differently from that of the non aging one. Odds ratio between the aging population and non aging one was evaluated through logit model and a model with potential accident probability of the aged drivers was developed. Accident risk of the aged drivers under the condition of curved road, cutting section and moistured road was revealed to be higher than that of the non aging population.

Objectives : One's mind is turned over by environment and personal relationship. This Emotion is called Chiljung in Oriental Medicine. Sasang Constitution is sorted each Emotion by Nature & Emotion(性情). So, this study aimed at figuring out the relations on Sasang Constitution, and emotion traits of oriental medicine students by EEQ and CISS(as named Mood scale). Methods : 199 students of Dongshin university oriental medicine were tested by Questionnaire for Sasang Constitution ClassificationII(QSCCII) and Mood scale. In this study is used 156 students' data, except 43 students' one for research. 156 students are classified four groups by QSCCII. The degree of emotion was determined by Mood scale. These data ware analyzed by frequency, t-test, ANOVA, Multiple comparison, Correlation, Regression with SPSS windows 15.0. Results : 1. Soeumin has high score on EEQ more than Soyangin. 2. Sasang constitution make no difference on CISS, except emotion-oriented coping in not classify group. 3. It has influence on Emotional express by Sasang constotution that Task-oriented coping, EEQ and CISS. Conclusions : Sasang constitution has significant difference on Emotional express.

From the view point of railway vehicle dynamics, the interaction between wheel and rail have an huge effect on the behavior of the vehicle. This phenomenon is an unique motion, only for railway vehicles. Furthermore, close investigation of the backgrounds of the interaction is the key to estimate the dynamic behavior of the vehicle, successfully. To evaluate the model including flexible bodies such as car body and catenary system of the next generation express train, it is necessary to develop proper dynamic solver including a wheel rail contact module. In this study, wheel-rail contact module is developed using the general purpose dynamic solver. First of all, the procedure for calculation of the wheel-rail contact force has been established. Generally, yaw angle of the wheelset is ignored. Sets of information are summarized as tables and splined for further uses. With this information, normal force and creep coefficient can be extracted and used for FASTSIM algorithm, which has been shown good reliability over years. Normal force and longitudinal, lateral force at the contact surface are also calculated. Those data are verified by commercial railway simulation program 'VAMPIRE'. This procedure and program can offer a basic process for estimation of the dynamic behavior and wear of the wheel-rail system, even while running on the curved rail. Finally, multi-dimensional inspection tool will be developed including the prediction of the derailment.

The purpose of this study is to look for a development plan for strategic brand logo by a means of scrutinizing general characteristics and trend in the visual properties of outdoor logo brands. In this study, data research and analysis were conducted over the 68 outdoor brands in circulation in the domestic market based on the information on the website of each brand in order to examine the visual characteristics of an outdoor brand logo. For this, it was performed to examine the desired brand concept of each brand and to analyze the visual characteristics of typeface, color, and type of logo. The results of this research are the followings: First, it was found that the most popular typeface in outdoor brand logos is a capitalized Gothic type. It seems that the logo type is designed to symbolize power, toughness, and masculinity and to express the concept of sportswear brand. Second, when it comes to color, black color tone appeared most frequently, and also reddish colors among chromatic colors were prevailing over others like green, blue, or yellow. It is believed that reddish colors were used to express passion, power, youthfulness, and energy; black color tone for tough, masculine power. Third, the logo symbol of outdoor brands mostly contains mountain, the heads of powerful animals, spherical shape/abstract image that embodies outdoor sports activities. It was analyzed that these resulting symbols were chosen to convey the images of nature, conquest, challenge, future, and passion that are the brand concept of most outdoor brands. Today, in our country, the logo of an outdoor brand is the important factor that symbolizes the brand concept, function, or characteristics. Therefore, the necessity of constant follow-up researches is required to devise the way of designing the brand logo that can build brand power and enhance brand image.

Recently, the Korea Tilting Express(TTX), "HANVIT 200", KRRI(Korea Railroad Research Institute) developed runs for test on the conventional railroad, Honam line, Center line, Chunk-buk line and Tae-baek line. In this paper, we measured the service voltage while TTX ran on the conventional railroad and analyzed the condition of voltage. For measuring voltage directly, we installed PT under the pantograph and measured the voltage of the primary winding. In addition, we record situations that other trains pass by TTX and environments while TTX ran. And then we analyzed the condition of voltage using the records and CBEMA curve. In result, over 110[%] voltage of rated voltage(25[kV]) often occurred and the voltage of some place continued over 110[%] for about 200[s]. Especially, the voltage condition of Tae-baek line is the worst. The results in this paper can help to stabilize the power device and power converter of TTX.

The tilting train is able to tilt its body towards the center of the turning radius, preventing roll-over of the train as it runs on a curved rail at high-speed. This train, widely accepted for commercial purpose internationally, is very beneficial in that the operating time is shortened without much capital investment to the infrastructure where there are many curved rails. Over several years, the Korea Railroad Research Institute (KRRI) has developed such a train. In this paper, the safety of the Korean tilting train express (TTX) is investigated using a dynamic simulation model. Since proper safety standards have not been established for the TTX, those for the Korean train express (KTX) is employed to analyze the safety and ride comfort of the TTX. This study is useful in predicting the behavior of the TTX and ride comfort, and conforms that designed TTX is stable enough to satisfy the safety standards. It would be useful to recommend proper normal operating speed and determine the maximum safety speed, according to the result. Furthermore, it would be possible to provide basic reference data when analyzing the dynamic effect of the catenary system and the fatigue of the bogie.

Unlike the traditional displacement type vessels, the high speed planing crafts are supported by the lift forces which are highly non-linear. This non-linear phenomenon causes their motions in an irregular seaway to be non-Gaussian. In general, it may not be possible to express the probability distribution of such processes by an analytical formula. Also the process might not be stationary or ergodic in which case the statistical behavior of the motion to be constantly changing with time. Therefore the extreme values of such a process can no longer be calculated using the analytical formulae applicable to Gaussian processes. Since closed form analytical solutions do not exist, recourse is taken to fitting a distribution to the data and estimating the statistical properties of the process from this fitted probability distribution. The peaks over threshold analysis and fitting of the Generalized Pareto Distribution are explored in this paper as an alternative to Weibull, Generalized Gamma and Rayleigh distributions in predicting the short term extreme value of a random process.

This study proposes that Malevich's 1913 performance "Victory Over the Sun" was not just Cubo Futurism, but that it produced Suprematism in the early 20th century. "Victory Over the Sun" did away with traditional set and costume design and a call to the Russian avant garde. Therefore, this study analyzes the characteristics of set and the costume design in "Victory Over the Sun", and considers how it impacted twenty-first century fashion designers like Margiela. The results of the study are as follows: first, Margiela reinterpreted the characteristics of the costumes featured on "Victory Over the Sun" from a cubist perspective and represented geometric spatial structures and mechanical human images through changes in methods and materials. second, he designed costumes by applying to the set and costumes expressed black & white images on "Victory Over the Sun". and third, Margiela reinterpreted the warrior image using geometric forms and colors in a creative way. Contemporary fashion designers, including Margiela, express their artistic creativity through various representational and materials choices. They want to convey their subjective personality and emotional sensibility to the public by mixing and deforming existing arts like painting, sculpture, and crafts to create new images. Thus, the creative intentions of the latest fashion designers have expanded art of costume design, exemplifying the process by which art is evolves and is made new.

This study is on the various style and characteristics of mask, and was performed empirically by reviewing the related materials such as the literature, precedent studies, fashion works, and home and foreign fashion magazines. As a result of the study, the style of mask in the modern fashion is roughly categorized by full-covered style, half-covered style, and over-half-covered style which is covered over 50% of a face. And, mask is utilized on a hat or a dress all over, or is produced by a elaborate makeup. Mask with lots of variation has three big characteristics, which are sense of disguise, sense of ornamentation, sense of grotesquery. First, sense of disguise means deviation or tool of affectation instead of cultural standard norm through transforming or masquerading as an imagery person or animal in ancient myths, famous artistes, etc. It could be developed to express a designer's identity. Second, mask decorated with various styles and materials has sense of ornamentation, which means natural human desire of expression for beauty, and at the same time human mind longing for experience a fantastic and ideal inner world being deviated from the present world even indirectly. Third, ignoring the original format of eyes, nose, and mouth, using extraordinarily various techniques such as distortion, extreme, exaggeration, concealment, or combining with animal images, mask has sense of grotesquery inducing humor and horror simultaneously.
