능동소음제어를 위한 망각형 지연 LMS 알고리듬을 이용한 이중루프제어 모델 (A Double Loop Control Model Using Leaky Delay LMS Algorithm for Active Noise Control)

  • 본 논문에서는 능동소음제어를 위하여 망각형 지연 LMS(least mean square) 알고리듬을 이용한 이중루프제어 모델을 제안하였다. 제안한 이중루푸제어 모델은 계산양을 줄이기 위해 이득과 음향시간지연인자를 이용하여 온라인으로 라우드스피커 특성 및 오차음경로를 추정한다. 이중루프구조를 통한 오차신호의 제어는 보다 견실한 제어시스템이 된다. 음향시간지연을 추정하기 위한 필터의 입력신호는 입력 마이크로폰 신호와 적응필터의 차를 사용한다. 망각형 지연 LMS 알고리듬은 비정상상태에서 계수들의 발산을 방지하기 위해 사용한다. 실제 소음신호에 대하여 제안한 이중루프제어 모델은 소음레벨이 평균 12.9dB정도 감쇠되었다.

  • In this paper, the design methodology of digital fuzzy controller(DFC) for the systems with time-delay is presented and the qualitative effects of the quantizers in digital implementation of a fuzzy controllers are investigated. We propose the fuzzy feed-back controller whose output is delayed with unit sampling period and period and predicted. the analysis and the design problem considering time-delay become very easy because the proposed controller is syncronized with the sampling time. The stabilization problem of the digital fuzzy system with time-delay is solved by linear matrix inequality(LMI) theory. Furthermore, we analyze the stability of the quantized fuzzy system. Our results prove that when quantization os taken into account, one only has convergence to some small neighborhood about origin. We develop a fuzzy control system for backing up a computer-simulated truck-trailer with the consideration of time-delay and quantization effect. By using the proposed method, we analyze the quantization effect to the system and design a DFC which guarantees the stability of the control system in the presence of time-delay.

Development of a variable resistance-capacitance model with time delay for urea-SCR system

  • Experimental research shows that the nitric oxides ($NO_X$) concentration track at the outlet of selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalyst with a transient variation of Adblue dosage has a time delay and it features a characteristic of resistance-capacitance (RC). The phenomenon brings obstacles to get the simultaneously $NO_X$ expected to be reduced and equi-molar ammonia available to SCR reaction, which finally inhibits $NO_X$ conversion efficiency. Generally, engine loads change frequently, which triggers a rapid changing of Adblue dosage, and it aggravates the air quality that are caused by $NO_X$ emission and ammonia slip. In order to increase the conversion efficiency of $NO_X$ and avoid secondary pollution, the paper gives a comprehensive analysis of the SCR system and tells readers the key factors that affect time delay and RC characteristics. Accordingly, a map of time delay is established and a solution method for time constant and proportional constant is carried out. Finally, the paper accurately describes the input-output state relation of SCR system by using "variable RC model with time delay". The model can be used for a real-time correction of Adblue dosage, which can increase the conversion efficiency of $NO_X$ in SCR system and avoid secondary pollution forming. Obviously, the results of the work discover an avenue for the SCR control strategy.

지연시간을 갖는 계통에 대한 강인한 제어기 설계 (Design of Robust Controller for Systems with Time Delay)

  • Integral Error and State Feedback (IESF) controller which incorporates state feedback as a modern control scheme and integral action as a classical control scheme has better performance than that of conventional PID controller in linear time invariant system. But the structure of the IESF controller requires all the state variables of the system and is applicable only to pole assignable linear time invariant systems without time delay. Many industrial processes have large time delay and it is impossible to directly apply IESF control scheme to those processes. In this paper, a new controller structure, Modified Integral Error and State Feedback (MIESF) has been suggested in order to effectively control processes having time delay and its performance has been analyzed and its effectiveness has also been confirmed. As the proposed controller uses output feedback scheme based on integral error and state feedback (IESF) method, it can be simply designed by pole assignment algorithm irrespective of the order of the process. The MIESF controller can follow setpoint changes without overshoot. It is robuster than conventional Smith-Predictor plus PI(D) controller in case of occurring time delay mismatch and extra parameter mismatches between the process and the model. It can enhance control performance by intentional time delay mismatch.

Delay 특성을 고려한 광대역 선형 전력 증폭기에 관한 연구 (A Study on Wideband Linear Power Amplifier Considering Delay Characteristics)

  • 본 논문에서는 전력증폭기의 선형성을 광대역으로 개선시키기 위하여 delay 특성의영향에 대하여 고려하였다. 사용된 전력 증폭기의 이득은 37dB이고, 3단의 1W급으로 설계되었다. Error 증폭기는 4단으로 설계되었으며 이득은 55dB이다. 그리고 방향성 결합기 및 전력 분배기를 설계하였으며, 또한 크기와 위상을 조절하기 위한 장치로 vector modulator를 사용하였다. 각 모듈을 통합하여 주파수 2.11GHz에서 2.2GHz까지 delay 특성을 고려한 광대역 선형 전력 증폭기를 설계하였으며, 30MHz의 대역폭에 걸쳐 C/I$_3$비가 25dB 이상의 개선 효과를 얻었다.

CMOS true-time delay IC for wideband phased-array antenna

  • This paper presents a true-time delay (TTD) using a commercial $0.13-{\mu}m$ CMOS process for wideband phased-array antennas without the beam squint. The proposed TTD consists of four wideband distributed gain amplifiers (WDGAs), a 7-bit TTD circuit, and a 6-bit digital step attenuator (DSA) circuit. The T-type attenuator with a low-pass filter and the WDGAs are implemented for a low insertion loss error between the reference and time-delay states, and has a flat gain performance. The overall gain and return losses are >7 dB and >10 dB, respectively, at 2 GHz-18 GHz. The maximum time delay of 198 ps with a 1.56-ps step and the maximum attenuation of 31.5 dB with a 0.5-dB step are achieved at 2 GHz-18 GHz. The RMS time-delay and amplitude errors are <3 ps and <1 dB, respectively, at 2 GHz-18 GHz. An output P1 dB of <-0.5 dBm is achieved at 2 GHz-18 GHz. The chip size is $3.3{\times}1.6mm^2$, including pads, and the DC power consumption is 370 mW for a 3.3-V supply voltage.

탠덤크로스포인터 멀티캐스트 ATM 스위치 연구 (A Study on Multicast ATM Switch with Tandem Crosspoints)

  • 본 논문에서는 출력 버퍼형 탠덤크로스포인터 멀티캐스트 ATM 스위인 MTCOS 스위치를 제안한다. MTCOS 스위치는 라우팅 구조가 간단한 다수의 크로스포인터 스위치 패브릭으로 구성된 TCSF와 효율적 멀티캐스팅을 위한 집중화기 출력 버퍼로 구성된다. TCSF는 셀프 라우팅 크로스바 스위치가 갖는 셀 지연 편차 문제를 개선하고, 또한 하나의 입력에서 다수 출력 포트들로 다수의 동시 경로를 제공하며, 간단한 소프트웨어적 설정을 통해 다중 채널 스위칭을 제공하며, 확장성, 고성능, 모듈화 특성을 갖는다. MTCOS에서 제공되는 공유 트래픽 집중화 및 출력 큐잉 방식은 다양한 멀티캐스트 트래픽에 대해 낮은 셀 손실율과 낮은 지연시간을 보인다. 또한 동일 Knockout 집중화율을 달성하기 위해 SCOQ와 Knockout 멀티캐스트 스위치 보다 낮은 하드웨어 복잡도를 갖는다. 해석적 및 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 임의의 트래픽에 대해 제안된 스위치가 높은 성능을 달성할 수 있음을 보였다.

Decentralized Output-feedback Stabilization of Linear Time-invariant Interconnected Systems with Delays

  • We study the decentralized stabilization problem of linear time-invariant large-scale interconnected systems with delays without any system structure. We obtain sufficient stability conditions for interconnected systems which are equivalent to disturbance attenuation of some scaled system. A decentralized output-feedback controller is obtained using standard H$\infty$ control theory. The obtained controller is delay-independent. We also obtain an observer for the interconnected system.

  • HILS is widely used in the test and evaluation of complex control system. This paper describes the structure of HILS and the control loop performance monitoring of HILS system Distal path delay and FMS(Flight Motion Simulator) dynamics were estimated and output of the estimated model were compared with real FMS output. The monitoring system can be used for analyzing the result of HILS.

  • A new time-to-digital converter is designed and the converter is based on a voltage-to-frequency converter and a counter. The converter output is obtained without delay time and the resolution improves with increasing input time interval because the output of voltage-to-frequency converter increases linearly. In the designed circuit the input time intervals range is from 100nsec to 3${\mu}$ sec.
