중학생의 외식 실태에 대한 연구 - 2016년 청소년 식품소비행태조사 - (Study on the Eating Out Behavior of Middle School Students)

  • This study examined the actual condition of middle school students' dining out based on the data of the 2016 youth food behavior inquiry data of the Korea Rural Economic Institute. The eating out behavior of 278 middle school students' according to gender, average eating-out cost per person, average monthly eating out cost per person, weekly frequency of breakfast, and dietary information source were calculated into a chi-square value by cross analysis. The main results of this study are as follows. First, in middle school students' eating-out status, most students answered 'eating out', and the highest frequency of eating out was 1~3 times a week. The reason for eating out was 'to enjoy delicious food', and 'costly price' was the most common reason for not eating out. Food taste was the most common standard for selecting eating out, and a restaurant was the most common place to eat out. The main restaurant was the 'snack bar (kimbap specialized store)'. Second, there was no significant difference in all items of eating-out status according to the gender. A significant difference in eating out frequency was observed according to average eating-out cost per once (p< .001), standard for selecting eating out (p< .001), main eating out places (p< .001), and main restaurants (p< .01). There was a significant difference in the frequency of eating out (p< .001) in the eating-out status according to average eating out cost per month. Third, the eating-out status according to the breakfast frequency of middle school students had a significant difference in the reason for eating out (p< .001). The eating-out status according to the dietary information source of middle school students had a significant difference in eating out or not (p< .05) and the frequency of eating out (p< .05). These results highlight the importance of school diet education so that middle school students can achieve healthy eating habits and plan to increase their interest and utilization of school dietary education.

학교 밖 청소년의 문제행동 관련 융복합적 요인: 성별차이를 중심으로 (Convergent Factors Affecting Problem Behaviors in Out-of-school Adolescents: A Focus on Gender Difference)

  • 본 연구는 학교 밖 청소년을 대상으로 문제행동에 미치는 융복합적 요인을 성별차이를 중심으로 분석하였으며, 부산여성가족개발원에서 실시된 학교 밖 청소년 연구자료를 이용한 이차자료 분석 연구이다. 연구대상자는 총 499명의 학교 밖 청소년이며, 남자는 337명, 여자는 162명이었다. 본 연구에서 조사한 문제행동은 가출, 학업중단, 성매매, 폭력, 인터넷게임중독, 절도, 약물중독 및 흡연이었다. 수집된 자료는 로지스틱 회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 본 연구의 문제행동 중 인터넷게임중독과 절도는 남자 학교 밖 청소년이 여자 학교 밖 청소년보다 높았다. 인터넷게임중독은 남자 학교 밖 청소년이 여자학교 밖 청소년보다 1.90배 높았다(p=.008, 95% CI=1.18-3.06). 절도는 남자 학교 밖 청소년이 여자 학교 밖 청소년보다 1.92배 높았다(p=.006, 95% CI=1.21-3.03). 앞으로 학교 밖 청소년의 문제행동을 예방하고 이에 대한 사회적 대책을 마련할 때, 문제행동의 양상과 성별에 따라 차별화된 접근이 필요하다.

학교 밖 청소년의 흡연 및 금연 경험 연구 (A Study of Experiences of Smoking and Smoking Cessation in out-of-school Youth)

  • Purpose: The aim of this qualitative study was to identify the experiences of smoking and smoking cessation in out-of-school youth. Methods: The participants were 12 out-of-school youths belonging the Youth support Center located in A and B area. The data were collected from January 8 to 15, 2018, using a FGI(Focus Group Interview). The main sub-domains of the experiences of smoking and smoking cessation in out-of-school youth by 7 questions were categorized from the intrapersonal, interpersonal, organizational, and community factors in ecological model. Results: The motivation, continuity, disadvantage of smoking experiences of out-of-school youth were analyzed in 10 sub-domains (curiosity, friend's invitation, mood of adapted group, habit, relieving stress, providing breaks, friendship, physical damage, loss of money, a bad sight of smoker). The reason, difficulty, advantage, reason for restarting smoking cessation experiences of out-of-school youth were analyzed in 15 sub-domains (physical damage, for future hope, invitation of others, influence of family, weight gain, emotional stress, worsening friendship, improvement physical condition, saving money, better relationships, not with bad friends, withdrawal, smoking of friends, drinking, separated a lover). Conclusion: Based on the results, it is expected that a Specialized Smoking Cessation Education Program will be developed for out-of-school youth's health activities in ecological factors.

학교 밖 청소년의 부정적 사건 경험이 우울과 충동성을 이중매개로 비행에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Negative Life Events on Delinquency through a Dual-mediation of Depression and Impulsivity among Out-of-school Adolescents)

  • 본 연구는 학교 밖 청소년의 부정적 사건 경험이 우울과 충동성을 이중매개로 비행에 미치는 영향의 규명을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 학업중단 청소년 패널에서 1차 조사 당시 학업중단 상태였던 청소년 표본을 대상으로 PROCESS macro for SPSS의 모델 6을 활용하여 부정적 사건 경험이 비행에 미치는 직접적 영향뿐만 아니라 우울과 충동성을 통한 매개 및 이중매개효과를 분석하였다. 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학교 밖 청소년의 부정적 사건 경험은 비행에 유의미한 정적 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 학교 밖 청소년의 우울은 부정적 사건 경험이 비행에 미치는 영향을 매개하지 않았다. 셋째, 학교 밖 청소년의 충동성은 부정적 사건 경험이 비행에 미치는 영향을 매개했다. 넷째, 학교 밖 청소녀의 우울과 충동성은 부정적 사건 경험이 비행에 미치는 영향을 이중매개했다. 이상의 연구 결과를 기반으로 부정적 사건을 경험한 학교 밖 청소년의 비행을 예방하기 위한 다양한 개입 전략에 대하여 논의하였다.

학교 밖 청소년의 스마트폰 과의존에 미치는 영향요인 (The Effect of Smartphone Overdependence among Out-of-school Youths in Korea)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects on smartphone overdependence of out-of-school youths. Methods: This was a cross sectional study design using the out of school youth Panel Survey(2017). We conducted an empirical study consisting of 318 participants with using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficients, hierarchical multiple regression analysis to identify factors influencing smartphone overdependence. Results: Smartphone overdependence correlated positively with depression and carrier barriers such as lack of career informations, career development anxiety and financial difficulties. The main factors of smartphone overdependence in adolescents out of school were depression (β = .22, p = .002), gender (β = .21, p <.001), future anxiety (β = .15, p = .0.0), subjective health status (β = .13, p = .028), smoking (β = .13, p = .032). Conclusion: Smartphone overdependence management programs for out-of-school youths should be included emotional and informational support to alleviate anxiety, fear of failing in one's career, as well as mental and psychological interventions to reduce level of depression.

학교 밖 청소년들의 사회적 낙인감과 우울의 관계에서 자아존중감과 자아탄력성의 매개효과 (Mediating Effects of Self-esteem and Ego-resiliency on the Relationship between Social Stigma and Depression in Out-of-school Adolescents)

  • Purpose: The study was done to identify the mediating effect of self-esteem and ego-resiliency on the relationship between social stigma and depression in out-of-school adolescents. Methods: The participants were 318 out-of-school adolescents, with data taken from the 5th out-of-school youth panel survey (2017). The data were analyzed using hierarchical multiple linear regression with the IBM SPSS statistics 24.0 program. In addition, bootstrapping was used to verify the mediating effects. Results: Stigma was positively correlated with depression and self-esteem and ego-resiliency were negatively correlated with depression respectively. Also, self-esteem and ego-resiliency had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between social stigma and depression. Conclusion: The findings indicate that self-esteem and ego-resiliency are important factors related to depression in out-of-school adolescents. It is also expected that self-esteem and ego-resiliency can further decrease depression in out-of-school adolescents.

대학생의 중도탈락에 미치는 교우관계의 영향력과 학교적응의 매개효과 (Influence of friendship to academic persistence and drop out and mediation effect of school adaptation)

  • This study was to examined the relationship between goal setting, self improvement, social support of parents, friendship, school adaptation, drop out. In our research model, goal setting, self improvement, social support of parents, and friendship is exogenous variable and school adaption and drop out is endogenous variable. A total of 323 undergraduate student(254 female, 69 male) complete the questionnaires. Structural equation modelling showed that, as hypothesized, establishment of goals, social support of parent and friendship have effect on school adaptation, and friendship also have direct effect on drop out. School adaptation mediate path from goal setting, social support of parents, and friendship. This study provides empirical evidence for a model that show how to control the drop out of students.

  • 본 연구는 학교 밖 청소년의 사회적 자본이 진로행동에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 이들의 관계에서 회복탄력성의 매개효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 부산시에 거주하는 학교 밖 청소년 127명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 사회적자본과 진로준비행동과의 관계에서 회복탄력성은 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 통해 학교 밖 청소년의 진로준비행동을 높이기 위해서는 학교 밖 청소년들이 지역사회의 사회적 자본을 잘 활용할 수 있도록 적극적인 지원이 필요한 것으로 보인다. 또한 학교 밖 청소년들의 회복탄력성을 증진시킬 수 있는 심리·정서적인 프로그램들이 개발되어야 하며, 회복탄력성에 초점을 맞춘 진로상담이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

A Survey of the Distribution of the Facilities Supporting Students' Out-of-School Science Activities and Their Programs in Korea

  • Students experience science not only through school science lessons but also through various other channels. Science-related facilities, including science museums and centers, are important channels for informal science education. Korea has a number of governmental and private facilities in which young people can experience various aspects of scientific activities, and many of them also provide the programs supporting out-of-school science activities. However, there has been no systematic survey study on those facilities providing out-of-school activities, thus they have not been used effectively as well as their social utility is not fully realized. To this end, in 2002 researchers of this study carried out surveys (1) of the facilities supporting out-of-school science activities and (2) of science programs provided by these facilities. The surveys show that there are approximately 180 facilities supporting science activities in Korea. More than 40% of them are located in Seoul and Gyeonggi areas. Among them, the proportion of special theme science museums was the greatest (37.9%). The facilities supporting out-of-school science activities usually do not target the specific age groups but are intended for all people. The proportion of governmental facilities exceeds that of private ones. 41.8% of the facilities examined in this study run their own science activity programs. Among the 10 categories of the programs, 'science class' type programs were the most common. There were more programs for elementary and middle school students than preschoolers, high school students and adults. The contents of the programs were more related to astronomy and meteorology, the observation of living things and field trips. Despite their high practical potential, the special theme science museums were found to be lacking in relevant programs, which could fulfill their values for informal science education.

학교 밖 청소년의 금연시도에 영향을 미치는 사회생태학적 요인 (Effects of the Socio-Ecological Factors for Attempts to Quit-Smoking in Out-of-School Youths)

  • Purpose: The study was undertaken to determine the socio-ecological convergence factors affecting on attempts to quit smoking in out-of-school youths. Methods: The study participants were 187 out-of-school youths enrolled Youth support Centers, collected from November 2018 to February 2019, analyzed through x2test and independent sample t-test, logistic regression analysis. Results: There was a significant differences and associated within daily smoking amounts, age of start smoking, intense physical activity, intake breakfast, smoking cessation self-efficiency, and smoking attitude among socio-ecological characteristics according to attempts of quit-smoking. Conclusion: The results of this study will be provided a basic data for developing The Quit-Smoking Intervention Program for out-of-school youth's health activities.
