  • Objectives : This study aims to find out comparative results from Sasang Constitutional Medicine, Eight Constitution and Five Elements Constitution. Methods : Searching the records, papers, documents and analyzing. Results and Conclusions : Sasang Constitutional Medicine Theory is organized with Taeyang, Taeum, Soyang, Soum. Eight Constitution is classified mokyang, Mokum, Toyang, Toum, Keumyang, Keumum, Suyang, Suum. and Five Elements Constitution is explained to Yin Yang and Five Elements.

  • In this paper, a multi-processor-based supervisory control for automatic assembly system is presented. The proposed supervisory control is organized in terms of C-language and with structured and easily expandable characteristics. Also the controller is designed to possess diagnostic capability including self-diagnosis of processor module. The developed supervisory control has been shown to be very useful via a high speed automatic assembly system with vision capability.

  • This paper describes a liner state-space model for a flexible stick balencer. The method employed to generate the model utilizes a separable formulation of assumed modes to represents the transverse displacement due to bending Lagrangian dynamics are applied to determine the kinetic and potential energies for the system. The resultant dynamic equations are then organized into a state space model and linearized using Taylor series expansion method. A minimum order observer is designed to estimate unmeasurable states.

  • We will introduce our new concept deposition system for SMOLED manufacturing in this conference. This system is designed to deposit organic and metal material to downward to overcome the limit of substrate size and process tact time hurdle for OLED mass production, and is organized with organic deposition chamber, substrate pre-cleaning chamber, metal deposition chamber and encapsulation system. These entire process chambers are integrated with linear type substrate transfer system. We also compare our new SMOLED manufacturing system with conventional vacuum deposition systems, and show basic organic thin film property data, organic material deposition property data, and basic device property.

  • A formalism of reference language and homogeneous field is constructed for Iverson Language to organize a virtual file among external media. To execute some data manipulations among these external media files must be organized homogeneously forming multi-dimensional array like single media. This paper shows some organization of reference language to build the virtual file using many external media and some examples of program and hardware organization is presented for the justification of proposals.

  • An autonomous semantic-map building method is proposed, with the robot localized in the semantic-map. Our semantic-map is organized by objects represented as SIFT features and vision-based relative localization is employed as a process model to implement extended Kalman filters. Thus, we expect that robust SLAM performance can be obtained even under poor conditions in which localization cannot be achieved by classical odometry-based SLAM

  • We propose a wall distance free one-equation turbulence model. The model is organized in an extremely simple form. Only a few model constants were introduced into the model. The model is numerically tough and easy-of-use. The model also demonstrated the ability to simulate the laminar to turbulent flow transition. The model has been applied to the channel flow, the plane jet, the backward facing step flow, the flat plate boundary layer, as well as the flow around the 2D airfoil at large angles of attack, which obtained satisfactory results.

  • While a large number of firms have already developed and use an executive information system (EIS) effectively, some firms are reluctant to build one for lack of appropriate and well-organized guidance on how to achieve their own project. In this paper we suggest an EIS development methodology by testing five research hypotheses. As a result, we can conclude that prototyping should be applied to be combined with the SDLC. Moreover the preliminary stage accomplished the highest score in the eight-stage process.

  • A method is proposed which searches for optimal structures of Neural Networks (NN) using Genetic Algorithm (GA). The purpose of the method lies in not only finding an optimal NN structure but also leading us to the goal of self-organized control system that acquires its structure and its functionality by itself depending on its environment.

  • Ten years have passed since my last visit to Korea on the occasion of the International Symposium on High Speed Rail Systems organized by the Korean Transport Institute in October 1989. At that time, it was the objective to introduce the maglev and VHSR (very high speed rail) systems with their different areas of application and to discuss them with local partners against the background of the Seoul-Pusan HSR project.
