  • In this paper, we studied how to organize and develop a web based diagnostic-formative evaluation system. We investigated the interest of students about the system and analyze their scores after we applied this system to 10-th grade students for 10 months.

A Role of Bio-production Robots in Precision Farming Model of Japan

  • Community-based precision farming is a new concept of agricultural systems, which leads to organize groups of wise farmers and technology platforms in Japan. The wisdom farmers create a rational farming system to manage hierarchical variability: variability in farmers' community as well as variability of within-field and between-field. The technology platform develops and provides three key-technologies: mapping technology, variable-rate technology, and decision support systems available for rural constraints. Advancement of bio-production robots leads precision farming to the next level, where two technological innovations: how to produce and manage information-oriented fields and information-added products, can be attained.

  • The Erlangen program is a scholastic plan by German mathematician Felix Klein, in which he, based on group theory, made a reassessment of geometry as well as an attempt to generally organize it. In this paper, I will introduce the historical and scholastic background of the Erlangen program, overview the process of its formation, and provide some comments regarding its historical significance.

  • Realization of autonomous agents that organize their own internal structure in order to behave adequately with respect to their goals and the world is the ultimate goal of AI and Robotics. Reinforcement learning gas recently been receiving increased attention as a method for robot learning with little or no a priori knowledge and higher capability of reactive and adaptive behaviors. In this paper, we present a method of reinforcement learning by which a multi robots learn to move to goal. The results of computer simulations are given.

  • The database design for the management of bridge measurement information is presented in this paper. To express the associated data generated during the whole process of ambient measurement efficiently, requirements analysis for database construction is performed. And to define objects and organize schema conceptual and logical design are performed, which convert data model into logical schema. Finally, physical design is performed using DDL(data defined language). This database is based on the object-relational data modeling approach that has rich expressive power and good reusability in comparison with the traditional entity-relational modeling.

  • There are various which organize architectural forms. The concept of Collage is one of the ways to understand various situation in the Contemporary Architecture and the needed to be underrtood to solve problems in architecture, painting, sculpture etc. Formal characteristic of collage aesthetics proposed by the Cubism appeared to a creative element for a new form in the trends of architecture. Results of this study are as follows. In the Housing Architecture, The Collage is trasposed to the subjective form thanthe general form, and is used as a method to solve problems such as a perception in interior and exterior spaces and urban contexts.

  • A formalism of reference language and homogeneous field is constructed for Iverson Language to organize a virtual file among external media. To execute some data manipulations among these external media files must be organized homogeneously forming multi-dimensional array like single media. This paper shows some organization of reference language to build the virtual file using many external media and some examples of program and hardware organization is presented for the justification of proposals.

  • We can organize, manage, search, and process the documents efficiently by a document clustering. In general, the documents are clustered in a high dimensional feature space because the documents consist of many terms. In this paper, we propose a new method to cluster the documents efficiently in a low dimensional feature space by finding the core concepts from a domain ontology corresponding to the particular area documents. The experiment shows that our clustering method has a good performance.

  • Kohonen's self organizing feature map (SOFM) converts arbitrary dimensional patterns into one or two dimensional arrays of nodes. Among the many competitive learning algorithms, SOFM proposed by Kohonen is considered to be powerful in the sense that it not only clusters the input pattern adaptively but also organize the output node topologically. SOFM is usually used for a preprocessor or cluster. It can perform dimensional reduction of input patterns and obtain a topology-preserving map that preserves neighborhood relations of the input patterns.   • Current substation SCADA system has only one control center where two or three operaters monitor and control more than 40 substations spreaded far and wide. The scope of this system is too wide to cope with the concurrent multiple accidents in electric network by the typhoon and large mow. This paper describes the method to organize the optimal structure of substation SCADA system using remote console and small scale control center.
