의료기관의 서비스지향성과 종업원 직무만족이 고객지향성과 경영성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Service Orientation and Job Satisfaction to Customer Orientation and Business Performance in Medical Service Organizations)

  • This empirical research examined the effects of organizational service orientations on business performance since the service orientations had been considered very importantly for delivering excellent service quality in many studies. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among service orientations, customer orientations, employees' job satisfactions and business performance in medical service organizations. A model and hypotheses on the basis of this model were developed. And data from employees in medical service organizations were collected using questionnaires. Respondents were asked to related variables of their organizations. A total of 217 questionnaires collected were used to test hypotheses. The results obtained were as follows; first, service orientation factors had a positive significant effect on customer orientations, employees' job satisfactions and business performances. Second, employees' job satisfaction had a positive significant effect on their customer orientations. Third, customer orientations and employees' job satisfactions had a positive significant effect on business performances. Thus, it is advisable for managers or operators to emphasize service orientations in medical service organizations. This study is specific to ambulatory service in a medical service organizations, so generalizing the results to other area may not be possible. Although this study may help to guide the roles of service orientations, customer orientations, employee satisfactions and business performances in medical service organizations, future studies should consider other relative variables.

  • 다양한 연구자들의 신뢰에 대한 개념화를 고찰해 보고, 조직 내 신뢰에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 거시적 차원에서 미시적 차원에 이르기까지 살펴보았다. 조직내의 신뢰는 조직내 타인의 의도와 행동에 대한 긍정적인 기대를 바탕으로 위험을 기꺼이 감수하겠다는 의지로 개념화 될 수 있다. 조직내 신뢰는 그 조직이 처한 사회문화적 환경에 따라 내용이 달라지며, 보다 수평적이고 유연한 구조로 조직구조가 변화하면서 조직의 성공에 필수불가결한 요소가 되었다. 신뢰의 근거나 통로로서 조직내 연결망의 기능과 리더십 과정에서 신뢰의 역할에 대해서도 논의되었다.

산업보건서비스기관의 운영 효율성 분석 - 자료포락분석(DEA)기법을 이용하여 - (Evaluation of Managerial Efficiency in Occupational Health Service Organizations Using the Data Envelopment Analysis Method)

  • This study analyzed the managerial efficiency of 11 organizations, the branch centers of a occupational health service organization in Korea, using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method. The DEA is a good method for evaluating health services since it can handle multiple inputs and outputs simultaneously, and also identify the sources and amount of inefficiency. The author approached this study using two efficient models: the monetary value model and the real value model. The DEA method based on the monetary value model included cost factors, while the real value model excluded cost factors. The input variables used were manpower of physicians, medical technicians, nurses, industrial hygienists and administrators; labor, maintenance, and material expenses. The output variables used were the number of medical examinations, workplace evaluations, group health management services and income from each service. The major results were as follows: First, in the monetary value model, 6 out of 11 organizations (54.6%) showed an efficiency score of 1.0, which means that they have been operating in very efficient ways. However, 5 organizations (46.4%) showed themselves to be relatively inefficient. Second, in the real value model, 7 out of 11 organizations (63.4%) showed an efficiency score of 1.0, which means they have been operating efficiently, while 4 organizations (46.4%) showed themselves to be relatively inefficient. Third, the reliability of DEA method were analyzed by comparing the results of the monetary value model and real value model. The results of 8 out of 11 organizations were same in terms of being efficient or not. Thus, the DEA could be a valid application method for occupational health service organizations. Fourth, the organizations that displayed common inefficiency in both the monetary value model and in the real value model 3, 9, and 10, were also considered to be managed inefficiency from expertise opinion. In summary, this study evaluated the efficiency of occupational health service organizations applying the DEA method with different variables, and found that the results of analysis could be valid in terms of both modeling and expert sense. In the future, the DEA method will be used as a useful tool to identify and evaluate the efficiency of occupational health service organizations through more applications and refinements.

SWOT분석을 통한 사회적 경제조직의 전략과제 정립에 관한 연구: 충남지역을 중심으로 (A study on Establishing Strategic Tasks for Social Economic Organizations through SWOT Analysis: Focusing on Chungnam Region)

  • 본 연구는 사회적 경제조직(충남지역)의 활성화를 위한 전략과제와 전략방향정립을 위해 기존 문헌자료를 바탕으로 SWOT분석하였으며, 분석된 SWOT결과를 전문가를 통하여 전략과제와 전략방안을 다음과 같이 정립하였다. 첫째, 사회적 경제조직에 대한 SWOT분석결과 강점(S), 약점(W),기회(O), 위협(T)에 대한 요인에 대해 각각 4개 요인으로 총 16개 요인을 도출하였다. 둘째, 사회적 경제조직에 대한 전략과제는 SWOT분석을 통해 정립된 요인에 대해 SO전략, ST전략, WO전략, W전략에 대한 1제를 도출하였다. 셋째, 사회적 경제조직의 활성화를 위한 16개의 전략과제에 대한 전략방향은 다음과 같이 정립하였다. 전략방향 1은 '사회적 경제조직의 지원정책 기반 고도화'로 사회적 경제조직이 지속가능 경영체계정립으로 자생력을 향상하기 전략방향으로 정립하였다. 전략방향 2는 '사회적 경제조직의 성장기반 조성'으로 사회적 경제조직이 자생적으로 성장과 발전할 수 있는 전략방향을 의미한다. 전략방향 3은 '사회적 경제조직의 발굴 및 육성'으로 사회적 경제조직이 지역 내 다양한 문제 해결할 수 있도록 지역특성에 부합된 조직을 발굴하고 육성하여 지속성장할 수 있는 전략방향을 의미한다. 전략방향 4는 '사회적 경제조직의 홍보 및 육성'으로 하였으며 이는 사회적 경제조직의 자생력 확보를 위한 홍보와 구성원 교육 육성에 대한 전략방향을 의미한다.

Analyses of Business Values from E-Commerce Adoption in SMEs : Public and Private Organizations in Tourism Industry

  • This paper examines the relationship between IT investment and the improvement of efficiency from the perspective of organizational contingency by the type of organizations and their maturity in IT use in terms of their history of e-commerce use. Organizations are divided into private and public in nature, and into experienced and inexperienced in e-commerce. An analysis was performed on data from 286 organizations in tourism industry. Comparison among the four groups showed differences in competitive and operational efficiency.

  • New ways of work-shift and learning programs, which were based on the concept of 'performance improvement through people', have been introduced to healthcare organizations. I analyzed the performance of the changes and the performance differences. Data were collected through interview and survey. I discussed that modification of management practices which were developed in manufacturing organizations is important for successful implementation in healthcare organizations.

여성발전기금의 평가도구 개발 및 지원단체의 사업수행능력 평가에 대한 연구 - 서울특별시 여성발전기금 지원사업 평가를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Development of Criteria to Assess the Business Performance of the Development Fund for Women and the Organizations it Supports - focusing on the Assessment of the Seoul Metropolitan Government's Development Fund for Women -)

  • This study aims to create assessment tools for the development fund for women, and to assess the business performance of the organizations using this development fund for women on the basis of such tools. A total of 57 projects by 58 organizations were assessed for a period of eight months. The assessment was carried out by using five tools: 1) examining the weight of the assessment tools, 2) visiting and inspecting project sites, 3) visiting and inspecting the offices of the participating organizations, 4) cooperating with the Seoul Metropolitan Government for municipal administration, and 5) assessing the final project report. Each tool was comprised of three elements: ability of relevant organizations, operational procedure, and projects results. The assessment results are summarized below: 1. According to the examination of the general trends in assessing the organizations that received the Development Fund for Women, it was found that the assessment emphasized performance more than the process involved in the project. Thus, the result suggested that the projects should be carried out more aggressively. 2. Regression analysis was conducted to identify the capability of the organizations in performing the projects with the development fund for women and the capability of the subjects as an independent variable. It was observed that such capabilities were affected by the degree of role sharing and the utilization of internal organizations. It suggested the importance of human resources. 3. To motivate the subjects involved in executing the projects with the use of the Development Fund for Women, the requirements and the satisfaction factors suggested strengthening the scope of financial support and activating the project environment. In conclusion, it is considered that the findings would provide practical ways to improve the system in using the Development Fund for Women, and in setting relevant policies in the future.

국제기구 형성과 역할에 관한 이론적 고찰 : IAEA의 경험적 사례를 중심으로 (Theoretical Considerations for Formation and Roles of International Organizations : With Special Regard to Experiential Cases of IAEA)

  • 본 논문은 국제기구의 형성 및 역할에 대한 이론적 고찰을 시도한 것이다. 본 논문에서 필자는 국제기구의 형성 및 역할에 대해 상이한 입장을 보이고 있는 현실주의와 자유주의 패러다임의 논점을 바탕으로 IAEA의 형성 및 역할에 대한 경험적 사례를 검토하였다. 본 논문의 연구결과 국제기구의 형성 및 역할은 국제기구의 기능상 장점, 게임의 법칙, 상호의존 이익, 역할의 독립성 등 자유주의 패러다임의 이론적 가정만으로 설명되지 않는 부분들이 많았다. IAEA의 형성 및 운영 사례에서도 보듯 국제기구는 강대국간 기득권 보장이 주된 형성동기가 되고 있으며, 국제기구 역할 역사 이해 당사국 상호간의 정책 목표에 따라 가변성을 띠고 있다. 이러한 점에서 국제기구는 그 역할의 독립성이나 효율성이 엄격히 지켜진다고 볼 수 없다. 따라서 국제기구의 형성 및 역할은 현실주의적 패권 안정론이 이를 설명하는데 유용하다.

개인과 집단의 이중성에 기초한 사회적 공간의 생태지위 분석 (Niche Overlap of Social Spare: Duality of Individuals and Groups)

  • 이 글에서는 사회 조직이나 집단에 참여하는 개인들의 사회인구학적 특성을 통해 이들 조직의 생태직위를 측정하는 방법을 인터넷사이트와 자원조직이라는 두 가지 사래를 통해 제시하였다. 구체적으로 인터넷사이트의 생태지위는 사이트 방문자들의 연령과 교육연수로, 자원조직은 참여자들의 연령, 교육연수, 직업위신을 바탕으로 측정하였다. 결과적으로 이 글에서는 참여자들의 사회 인구학적 특성을 바탕으로 각 조직들의 생태지위의 범위 뿐 아니라, 생태지위간의 중복 정도를 통하여 조직들간의 잠재적 경쟁 및 공생의 가능성을 분석할 수 있다는 것을 제시하였다. 이는 조직의 성과에 대한 조직 환경의 영향을 생태학적으로 분석하는 것을 가능하게 한다 결론적으로, 이 글에서는 생태지위의 분포를 참여하는 개인들의 사회인구학적 특성의 분포를 통해 측정함으로써 조직이 사회적인 진공 상태에서 무작위로 만들어지는 것이 아니라, 조직을 구성하는 개인들의 연령, 교육, 직업위신과 같은 사회인구학적 변수들의 분포의 영창을 받는다는 것을 보여주고자 하였다.

지역사회 기관 간 금연사업 네트워크 모델: 블록모델링을 중심으로 (Interorganizational Networks for Smoking Prevention and Cessation: A Blockmodeling Approach)

  • Purpose: This study examined characteristics and patterns of interorganizational networks for smoking prevention and cessation in Korea. Methods: We surveyed two community health centers, ninety-five hospitals or clinics, ninety- two pharmacies, and sixty-five health welfare organizations in two districts of Seoul in 2020. Data on the organizations' characteristics of smoking cessation and interorganizational activities for information sharing, client referral, and program collaboration were collected and analyzed using network statistics and blockmodeling. Results: Network size was in the order of information sharing, client referral, and program collaboration networks. Network patterns for interorganizational activities on information sharing, client referral, and program collaboration among four organizations were similar between the two districts. Community health centers provided information and received clients from a majority of the organizations. Their interactions were not unidirectional but mutual with other organizations. Pharmacies were involved in information sharing with health welfare organizations and client referrals to hospitals or clinics. Health welfare organizations were primarily connected with the community health centers for client referrals and program collaboration. Conclusion: A community health center is the lead agency in interorganizational activities for smoking prevention and cessation. However, hospitals or clinics, pharmacies, and health welfare organizations also participate in interorganizational networks for smoking prevention and cessation with diverse roles. This study would be evidence for developing future interorganizational networks for smoking prevention and cessation.
