In this study, 168 marine police officials were surveyed. As a result of the study, the authority-granting leadership and organizational citizenship behavior of marine police officials are very important factors due to the dangers and unexpectedness of the duties of marine police officials. Policy suggestions were made for the development of the maritime police organization.

Mediated regression analysis, as proposed by Baron and Kenny (1986), was employed to address the research hypothesis. Results: Results showed that procedural justice and LMX was positively impacted on OCB and LMX also fully mediates the relationship of procedural justice and organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB). Conclusion: The result indicated that LMX fully mediates the relationship of procedural justice and organizational citizenship behaviour.

Methods: This study used a structured questionnaire administered to 340 nurses. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling. Results: Positive psychological capital showed indirect and direct effects on job satisfaction, retention intention, organizational citizenship behavior, and nursing performance. While, the nursing work environment had direct and indirect effects on job satisfaction and nursing performance, it only had indirect effects on intention to work and organizational citizenship behavior. Additionally, a mediating effect on retention intention and organizational citizenship behavior was found between job satisfaction and nursing performance variables. Conclusion: The nursing organization needs to build a supportive work environment and reinforce positive psychological capital to improve nursing performance. Additionally, it needs to actively manage the necessary parameters involved in the stages of job satisfaction, retention intention, nursing performance, and organizational citizenship behavior of nurses. The findings propose the continuous management of nursing personnel based on nurses' attitude outcome, behavioral intention, behavioral outcome, and stage of role performance.

  • With the development of AI and digital technologies such as big data, metaverse, and the Internet of Things, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) has brought great development and change to companies. Among these realistic industrial areas by RPA, the call center service area, which consists of a combination of complex high-tech systems and professional operation groups, has now reached the stage where AI is conducting counseling. The evolution of this digital transformation has become an important direction of change in the digital-related industry sector. Along with these changes, there have been many changes in the technical stress of the members of the organization within the RPA organization and their solutions. In this study, the representative psychological mechanisms were presented as Digital Shadow Work (DSW), expressed as 'unpaid work', and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), which is 'an act that helps organizations other than their duties'. This study theoretically contributes to the extension of the DSW concept to the organizational members.

  • This study suggests internal and external virtuous behavior in organization influenced employees' organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), organizational loyalty and emotional exhaustion through mediated effect of affective commitment and collective self-esteem. Virtue in organization has received attention as critical attribute of positive organizational scholarship. Cameron(2003) defined the study of virtue as a study of the capacity, attributes, and reserve in organization that facilitates the expression of positive deviance among organization member. Accordingly, this study presumed that virtuous behaviors within organization positively associate with OCB, and organizational loyalty through affective commitment whereas the virtuous behaviors negatively influence emotional exhaustion. On the other hand, we assumed that external virtuous behaviors positively associate with OCB and organizational loyalty and negatively associate with emotional exhaustion individually. In study 1, we conducted interview with Korean employees created items for internal and external virtue, and implemented empirical study for 253 employees of domestic companies in study 2. This study contributes to the empirical investigation on how internal virtue (i.e. the employees' virtue for their organization) and external virtue (i.e. the organization's virtue for society), used as independent variables, influence employees' organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), organizational loyalty and emotional exhaustion after creating items for the two virtuous behaviors through qualitative research.

  • Purpose - This study analyzes the effects of types of leadership on the employees of Italian restaurants, its efficacy, and organizational citizenship behavior, utilizing a causal assessment model. In this study, independent variables such as the type of leadership perceived in the manager or chef by an Italian restaurant's employees, and its efficacy were parameters, and the organizational citizenship behavior and organizational effectiveness were the variables representing the results in the hypothesis. The study aimed to draw implications by verifying the leadership via efficacy and the impact on organizational citizenship behavior of Italian restaurants. Research design, data, methodology - For the purpose of this analysis, specific questionnaire items were configured according to the theory and efficacy of the study. From a questionnaire used in organizational citizenship behavior comprising 22 questions, six were modified to suit the research purpose of this study. The configured questionnaire comprised 5 parts and 40 items. A Likert (Likert) 5-point scale was utilized to measure responses to the questionnaire items from the employees of an Italian restaurant in Seoul who participated in the survey. For data collection, 400 questionnaires were distributed, and 344 collected. Factor analysis and reliability verification were conducted using SPSS18.0 and AMOS18.0. A covariance structure analysis was conducted to test the research hypotheses. Results - Based on the results of the analyses, the summary and suggested implications of the research are as follows: The covariance structure analysis used to analyze the kind of effect transformational and transactional leadership styles in Italian restaurant employees had on self-efficacy, group-efficacy, and organizational citizenship behavior, indicated that among the characteristics of transformational leadership (such as, idealized influence, inspirational motivation, individual consideration, and intellectual stimulation), idealized influence and individual consideration had a positive influence on self-efficacy. Idealized influence, individual consideration, conditional reward, and management by exception also positively influenced self-efficacy and altruistic and conscientious behavior (organizational citizenship behavior). Conclusions - Results suggest that with regard to self-efficacy and group efficacy, managers in different departments and chefs should provide team members with a vision for the future, increase their confidence in their abilities, and build their trust in the organization. By evaluating employee performance and experiences, management can demonstrate leadership and encourage organizational citizenship behavior through enjoyable, voluntary participation. Transformational and transactional leadership is effective in group processes that include social-exchange relationships, self-efficacy and group efficacy, and organizational citizenship behavior. However, as this research study utilizes only self-reported data, it has several limitations, such as a vulnerability of errors caused by the various experiment types. A significant limitation of this study is the lack of potential for the duplication of results. The covariance structure analysis, however, provides complementation to limit the impact of errors from self-reporting studies. A future study can extend this research by utilizing different data collection methods.
