다문화가족 방문교육지도사의 자존감 및 낙관성이 셀프리더십에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Self-esteem and Optimism on the Self-leadership of Multicultural Family Home-visit Instructors)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in optimism, self-esteem and self-leadership according to age, monthly income, and teaching experiences of multicultural family home-visit instructors and the influence of optimism and self-esteem on self-leadership. 668 home-visit instructors participated in the online survey from 140 multicultural family support centers in Seoul, 6 metropolitan cities, 9 provinces, and other cities and counties. Data were analyzed through frequence, percentages, Pearson's correlations, One-way ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ post-hoc test, and stepwise multi-regression using SPSS 21.0. The main findings are as follows. First, there were significant differences in optimism and self-esteem according to age and monthly income. Second, there were significant differences in self-leadership according to age and home-visit teaching experiences. Third, the stepwise multiple regression model showed that optimism, self-esteem and the individual variables had an influence on the self-leadership of home-visit instructor's self-expectation. These results suggest that self-esteem and optimism are important precursors of self-leadership and self-leadership training based on self-esteem and optimism is necessary for self-leadership enhancement of home-visit instructors.

대학생의 지각된 사회적 지지가 우울 증상에 미치는 영향 : 낙관성과 자기효능감의 매개효과 (The Effect of Social Support on Depressive Symptoms among College Students : The Mediating Effect of Optimism and Self-efficacy)

  • 본 연구는 대학생들이 경험하는 우울 증상에 사회적 지지가 보호요인으로서 기능한다는 점을 확인하면서 그 과정에 낙관성과 자기효능감이 매개변인으로서 영향을 미친다는 점을 검증해보는 데 목적이 있다. 329명의 대학생들을 대상으로 사회적 지지, 우울 증상, 낙관성, 자기효능감을 포함한 설문을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 높은 사회적 지지는 낮은 우울 증상을 예측하였고 높은 낙관성과 높은 자기효능감을 예측하였다. 또한, 높은 낙관성과 높은 자기효능감은 낮은 우울 증상을 예측하였다. 그리고 매개분석 결과, 낙관성과 자기효능감은 각각 사회적 지지와 우울 증상의 부적 관계를 매개하였다. 즉, 높은 사회적 지지를 지각하는 대학생들은 높은 낙관성과 높은 자기효능감을 경험하는데, 이는 낮은 우울 증상으로 이어지게 되는 것이다. 마지막으로, 본 연구의 시사점과 한계점과 함께 추후 연구 방향에 대한 고찰이 논의되었다.

상급종합병원 임상간호사의 유머감각과 낙관성이 간호업무성과에 미치는 영향 (Effects of sense of humor and optimism on the nursing performance of the clinical nurse in the advanced general hospital)

  • 본 연구는 임상간호사의 유머감각, 낙관성, 간호업무성과의 정도를 파악하고 각 변수간의 상관관계를 파악하고 간호업무성과의 영향요인을 규명하고자 하였다. S 특별시 3개 상급 종합병원에 근무 중인 간호사 183명을 연구대상자로 하였으며, 자료수집은 2018년 2월 1일부터 2018년 4월 8일까지 하였다. 유머감각, 낙관성, 간호업무성과는 통계적으로 유의한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 일반적 특성 중 간호업무성과에 영향을 주는 요인은 교육수준, 교대근무, 경력이었고, 유머감각과 낙관성이 영향을 미쳤다. 이 3개 변수의 설명력은 38.6%로 나타났다. 따라서 임상간호사의 간호업무성과를 향상시키기 위하여 유머감각과 낙관성을 증진할 필요성이 있으며, 본 연구결과가 기초자료로 이용될 수 있을 것이다. 향후 간호사에게 유머감각과 낙관성 증진 프로그램을 적용하여 간호업무성과에 미치는 영향을 규명하는 연구가 필요할 것이다.

중학생이 지각한 스트레스와 학교 행복감의 관계에서 낙관성의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effect of Optimism on the Relationship Between Stress and Happiness at School Perceived by Middle School Students)

  • 본 연구는 중학생의 스트레스와 학교 행복감의 관계에서 낙관성이 매개효과를 나타내는지 알아보기 위해 실시되었다. 서울 소재 중학교에 재학 중인 학생 264명을 대상으로 자료를 수집했고 기술통계, t-test, 상관관계 분석 및 중다회귀분석을 실시해 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 중학생의 스트레스와 낙관성의 문항평균은 '보통'과 '약간 높음', 학교 행복감 문항평균은 '행복하지 않음'과 '약간 행복함' 사이인 것으로 나타났다. 스트레스는 여학생이 남학생보다 높았고 학교 행복감과 낙관성은 남학생에서 더 높았다. 둘째, 스트레스와 학교 행복감, 낙관성 간에는 유의한 상관관계가 있었다. 셋째, 낙관성은 스트레스와 학교 행복감 사이를 완전매개하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 낙관성을 증진하는 것이 학교 행복감 향상에 효과적인 전략임을 의미한다. 끝으로 융복합적 관점에서 연구결과를 논의하였다.

자활사업 참여 근로자의 우울과 자활의지 간의 관계에서 낙관성의 조절효과 (The Moderating Effect of Optimism on the Relationship between Depression and Willingness for Self-Sufficiency in Self-Sufficiency Program Participating Workers)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 자활사업 참여 근로자들의 우울과 자활의지 간의 관계에서 낙관성의 조절효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 자활사업 참여 근로자 775명을 대상으로 우울 질문지, 낙관성 척도, 자활의지 척도를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 Baron & Kenny의 조절효과 검증방법을 활용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 우울은 자활의지에 부정적 영향을 미치는 반면, 낙관성은 자활의지에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 우울과 자활의지 간의 관계에서 낙관성의 조절효과가 검증되었다. 결과에 따라서, 낙관성이 우울이 자활의지에 미치는 부정적 영향력을 감소시키고 자활의지를 향상시킬 수 있음을 논의하였다. 자활사업 참여 근로자들의 자활의지 향상 방안으로써 낙관성 증진 프로그램을 논의하였다.

청소년의 낙관성, 대처, 또래관계가 정신적 웰빙에 미치는 영향 (Factors associated with Optimism, Coping and Peer Relations on Mental Wellbeing in Adolescents)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine relationships between optimism, coping and peer relations on mental wellbeing in adolescents, and to identify contributing factors on their mental wellbeing. Methods: A total of 132 students recruited from two middle schools. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression. Results: Adolescents' mental wellbeing was $4.23{\pm}0.84$. Their mental wellbeing was significantly influenced by optimism (${\beta}=.44$), peer relational skills (${\beta}=.21$), and active coping (${\beta}=.20$), explained 49.1% of the total variance. Conclusion: Considering the results of this study, optimism enhancement program for promoting adolescents' mental wellbeing should be builded. In addition, active coping skills and peer relational skills acquisition program need to be developed.

만성신체질환을 지닌 대학생의 낙관성, 억압적 대처와 정신병리증상 및 건강관리행동의 관계 (The relationship between optimism and repressive coping, psychopathological symptoms, health management behavior in college students with chronic physical diseases)

  • Objectives: This study examined the effects of optimism and repressive coping on psychopathological symptoms and health management behavior in college students with chronic physical diseases. Methods: We conducted a survey on optimism, repressive coping, psychopathological symptoms, and health management behavior to patients with a chronic physical disease. Results: The results showed that both of optimism and repressive coping were related to fewer psychopathological symptoms. In addition, the repressive coping were related to fewer risk taking behaviors. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, it is possible that how to well protect their psychological physical health to patients with a chronic physical disease.

The Effect of Tennis Participation on Optimism and Aggression

  • The purpose of this study was to find out how tennis participants' participation affects their optimism and aggression. A total of 249 (male: 163, female: 86) subjects were studied. The Revised Life Orientation Test (LOT-R) developed by Scheier, Carver, and Bridges (1994) was used as an optimism test, and the Aggression Questionnaire developed by Buss and Perry (1992) was used as an aggressiveness test. As data analysis methods, one-sample t-test, Pearson's correlation analysis, and simple regression analysis were performed. As a result, first, those who participate in tennis were more optimistic than those who do not. Second, those who participate in tennis were less aggressive than those who do not. Third, optimism affects physical aggression, anger and hostility negatively

중학생이 지각한 부모와의 친밀감, 낙관성, 학습동기가 학교생활만족에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Intimacy with Parents, Optimism, Learning Motivation on School Life Satisfaction in Perspective of Middle School Students)

  • This study analyzes the differences in school life satisfaction according to middle school students' general characteristics, including their gender, grade, monthly household income, and parents' education level, and examines the effects of intimacy with parents, optimism, and learning motivation on school life satisfaction. Data were collected from 380 middle school students by using a socio-demographic questionnaire. A measurement tool for intimacy with parents, optimism, learning motivation, and school life satisfaction was used, and a frequency analysis, a t-test, a one-way ANOVA, a correlation analysis, and a path analysis were conducted. School life satisfaction showed differences in terms of middle school students grade and, parental education but there were no meaningful differences in terms of their gender and monthly household income. Intimacy with parents and optimism had direct effects on motivation; intimacy with the father and optimism had direct and indirect effects, respectively; and intimacy with the mother had an indirect effect. An increase in the level of intimacy between parents and students and an increase in the positive perception of oneself facilitated learning motivation as well as school life satisfaction.

대학생의 낙관성과 가족통제감이 노인부양의식에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Undergraduate's Optimism and Family-control on Their Awareness of Caregiving for the Elderly)

  • The purposes of this study was to examine the effects of undergraduate's optimism and family-control on their awareness of caregiving for the elderly. The subjects for this study were 374 undergraduates from 4 universities in G city. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS WIN(ver. 12.0) program, and frequency and percentile, mean and standard deviation, t-test, correlation analysis, multiple regression, and path analysis were utilized. The main findings of the study were as follows. The undergraduate's degree of optimism and family-control, and their awareness of caregiving for the elderly were slightly higher than the average. In addition, the undergraduate's optimism and family-control were differed according to their 'existence and/or nonexistence of religion', and their awareness of caregiving for the elderly was significantly different depending on 'existence and/or nonexistence of religion', and 'existence and/or nonexistence of living together with their grandparents'. It was also found that the undergraduate's awareness of caregiving for the elderly was directly influenced by their family-control, whereas their awareness of caregiving for the elderly was indirectly influenced by their optimism via family-control.
