This paper describes the development of a smart advanced metering infrastructure(AMI) architecture and services for using smart metering in gas industry. A general gas AMI system is composed of a smart gas meter, IoT network, the AMI platform, and an operation management system with security functions. The proposed gas AMI platform supports two-way communication between smart metering devices and AMI services and is applied by oneM2M standard to support interoperability between various types of metering devices and heterogeneous IoT networks. To demonstrating AMI system with the proposed platform, we installed about 2,900 smart gas meters in real environments and operated AMI systems for one year. We verified that about 94% of gas meters are normally worked and AMI services are stably operated without error or malfunction.
Diethylcarbamazine (DEC, 1-diethylcarbamyl-4-methylpiperazine) is an antiparasitic piperazine derivative used in the treatment of lymphatic filariasis caused by Wuchereria bancrofti, Brugia malayi or grugia timori. DEC-N-oxide is a major metabolite in humans and has antifilarial activity. In carrying out pharmacokinetic studies, gas chromatographic analysis of DEC in plasma can be complicated by the presence of the metabolite, since the thermally unstable DEC-N-oxide is converted back to a material which coelutes with DEC under the conditions of the analysis. We now report a method to separate DEC-N-oxide from DEC in plasma using solid phase extraction with subsequent gas chromatographic analysis using a nitrogen specific detector. One-diethylcarbamyl-4-ethylpiperazine (E-DEC) was the internal standard. The standard curve of DEC was linear in the range of 10 to 200 ng/ml as described by Y=0.0350+0.0128X, $R^2=0.999$. The limit of quantitation was 4 ng/mL. Reproducibility at 10, 100 and 200 ng/mL concentration points of the standard curve gave coefficient variations of 6.1%, 7.8% and 1.6%, respectively. The recovery following solid phase extraction was 99.3% for DEC and 94.8% for the internal standard. This sensitive and specific analytical method is suitable for pharmacokinetic studies of DEC.

This study focuses on the arithmetical methodology and hardware implementation of low system-complexity A $B^2$+C operator over GF(2$^{m}$ ) using the irreducible AOP of degree m. The proposed parallel-in parallel-out operator is composed of CS, PP, and MS modules, each can be established using the array structure of AND and XOR gates. The proposed multiplier is composed of (m+1)$^2$ 2-input AND gates and (m+1)(m+2) 2-input XOR gates. And the minimum propagation delay is $T_{A}$ +(1+$\ulcorner$lo $g_2$$^{m}$$\lrcorner$) $T_{x}$ . Comparison result of the related A $B^2$+C operators of GF(2$^{m}$ ) are shown by table, It reveals that our operator involve more lower circuit complexity and shorter propagation delay then the others. Moreover, the interconnections of the out operators is very simple, regular, and therefore well-suited for VLSI implementation.

Background Many authors have researched ways to optimize fat grafting by looking for a technique that offers safe and long-term fat survival rate. To date, there is no standardized protocol. We designed a "hydraulic system technique" optimizing the relationship among the quantity of injected fat, operative time, and material cost to establish fat volume cutoffs for a single procedure. Methods Thirty-six patients underwent fat grafting surgery and were organized into three groups according to material used: standard, "1-track," and "2-tracks" systems. The amount of harvested and grafted fat as well as material used for each procedure was collected. Operating times were recorded and statistical analysis was performed to establish the relationship with the amount of treated fat. Results In 15 cases the standard system was used (mean treated fat 72 [30-100] mL, mean cost 4.23 ± 0.27 euros), in 11 cases the "1-track" system (mean treated fat 183.3 [120-280] mL, mean cost 7.63 ± 0.6 euros), and in 10 cases the "2-tracks" one (mean treated fat 311[220-550] mL, mean cost 12.47 ± 1 euros). The mean time difference between the standard system and the "1-track" system is statistically significant starting from three fat syringes (90 mL) in 17.66 versus 6.87 minutes. The difference between the "1-track" system and "2-tracks" system becomes statistically significant from 240 mL of fat in 15 minutes ("1-track") versus 9.3 minutes for the "2-tracks" system. Conclusion Data analysis would indicate the use of the standard system, "1-track," and "2-tracks" to treat an amount of fat < 90 mL of fat, 90 ÷ 240 mL of fat, and ≥ 240 mL of fat, respectively.

Air quality was monitored in four roadway tunnels located near Seoul metropolitan area from 7:00AM to 9:00AM. PM10 concentrations range $111{\sim}268{\mu}g/m^3$, which are 2~5 times higher than annual standard $50{\mu}g/m^3$, and PM2.5 concentrations range $35{\sim}65{\mu}g/m^3$, which are 1.5~2.5 times higher than annual standard $25{\mu}g/m^3$. Benzene concentrations range 300~500 ppb, which are 200~300 times higher than 1.5 ppb which is air quality standard. Four-month long term air quality monitoring and test results in one of long tunnels show that PM10 range $30{\sim}400{\mu}g/m^3$ and over 97% of them can be removed by bag filter, effectively. Finally, benzene concentrations range 250~350 ppb.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the actual conditions of radiation safety supervision in animal clinics using inspection standard of X-ray generator for diagnosis. The surveys for inspection standard system, equipment condition, and safety supervision were carried out in 18 animal clinics randomly. The inspection standard included reproducibility of dose exposure, kVp, mAs, collimator accuracy test, collimator luminance test, X-ray view box luminance test, grounding system equipment test and external leakage current test. The surveys of equipment condition and safety supervision used one-on-one interview with 5 points measurement. As a result, 44.44% of reproducibility of dose exposure was proper, 81.25% of kVp test was good, and 100% of mAs test was appropriate. Also, 66.66% of collimator accuracy test was proper, 61.11% of collimator luminance test was good, 53.13% of X-ray view box luminance test was suitable. In addition, only 5.55% of grounding system equipment and ground resistance was proper, 63.64% of external leakage current test was appropriate in grounding system equipment test. The 100mA electric capacity of X-ray generator for diagnosis was popular with 44.44%, and its 55.56% was purchased used equipment. Monthly average of less than 50 times (61.11%) was top frequency in use, and no animal clinic had a thermo-luminescence dosimeter(TLD). The 16 animal clinics with radiation safety zone and 2 without radiation safety zone were appeared.

Background: This study analyzes the differences in the annual averaged atmospheric dispersion factor and ground deposition factor produced using two classification methods of atmospheric stability, which are based on a vertical temperature difference and the standard deviation of horizontal wind direction fluctuation. Materials and Methods: Daedeok and Wolsong nuclear sites were chosen for an assessment, and the meteorological data at 10 m were applied to the evaluation of atmospheric stability. The XOQDOQ software program was used to calculate atmospheric dispersion factors and ground deposition factors. The calculated distances were chosen at 400 m, 800 m, 1,200 m, 1,600 m, 2,400 m, and 3,200 m away from the radioactive material release points. Results and Discussion: All of the atmospheric dispersion factors generated using the atmospheric stability based on the vertical temperature difference were shown to be higher than those from the standard deviation of horizontal wind direction fluctuation. On the other hand, the ground deposition factors were shown to be same regardless of the classification method, as they were based on the graph obtained from empirical data presented in the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Regulatory Guide 1.111, which is unrelated to the atmospheric stability for the ground level release. Conclusion: These results are based on the meteorological data collected over the course of one year at the specified sites; however, the classification method of atmospheric stability using the vertical temperature difference is expected to be more conservative.

Purpose: This study tries to propose the dimensions and area related to patient bed and surroundings in ICU considering nurses' observation and medical care. Methods: Literature survey, 11 Case studies, some Interviews with nurses and measuring of medical equipments' dimension in ICU have been mobilized in order to deepen the ICU bed area standards. Results: 0.3m clearance between head wall and patient bed is necessary for emergency cases. The minimum distance at the foot of the bed should not be less than 0.9m for EMR cart and medical tray. The clear floor area of one bed and surroundings in open ward is $10.2m^2(3m{\times}3.4m)$. In a single-bed patient room, the minimum clear floor area is $16.0m^2(4m{\times}4m)$. Considering the control of cross infection in ICU, Single bed patient room is recommended. Implications: The result of this study can be applied to the design of ICU and legislation of ICU standard.
A gas chromatography-mass spectrometric method was developed for determining 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (CMIT), 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (MIT), 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one (BIT), 3-iodo-2-propynyl butyl carbamic acid (IPBC) and benzoic acid (BA) in household products. A 0.5 g sample was placed in a test tube and dissolved with 5 mL water, 5 mL methylene chloride and 1.0 mL methanol. The solution was extracted by ultra-sonication followed by mechanical shaking using the salting out effect. Under the established condition, the lowest quantification limits of all analytes were in the range of 0.04-10 mg/kg and their relative standard deviations were less than 8.0 %. The method was used to analyze 10 household products. As a result of analyzing 10 household products, MIT was detected in the range of 1.2-3.5 mg/kg in 3 of 10 samples, CMIT was detected in the range of 2.6-8.2 mg/kg in 3 of 10 samples, and BA was detected in the range of 5.0-15 mg/kg in 4 of 10 samples. Meanwhile, BIT and IPBC were not detected in any of the products. It has been shown that this method can be used for the simultaneous determination of biocides with various physical and chemical properties in household products.
