고속 CNC선반용 공랭식 오일 냉각기 개발 (Development of a Oil-Cooler for High-Speed CNC Lathe)

  • Recently, CNC lathe is in need of higher speed for precision works. So more intensive and compact heat exchanger is necessary to cool down the heat in short time from drills and works during high speed working. In this study, to increase heat transfer coefficient per unit volume, inner groove tube is designed and compact oil cooler, 57% volume of conventional type, is manufactured. The heat transfer performance is experimented and is compared with the performance of conventional type.

튜브형 박용 자동역세 연료유 필터 내부의 유동해석 (Flow Analysis of the Tube Type Marine Auto-Backwashing Fuel Oil Filter)

  • In this paper, the characteristics of incompressible flow in a tube type marine fuel oil filter have been investigated. Fluent program has been used to obtain the solutions for the problems of three-dimensional, turbulent fuel oil flow in a filtering system. The inlet flow field is assumed to be uniform. The velocity and pressure distributions were obtained using Darcy's law. The increase of inlet velocity for cleaning fuel oil may cause some problems like vibration of the filter element. It was also required to consider the distribution of cleaning velocity because the worst distribution of cleaning velocity may cause the local insufficient cleaning effect and furthermore the effective filtration area can be reduced. The simulated results show that the computer code can be successfully applied for simulation of the complex base oil flow through the porous media. This paper could be applied to the design of auto-backwashing filtering system as design factor.

박하유의 갈색날개매미충(Pochazia shantungensis)에 대한 기피효과 (Repellent Effects of Peppermint Oil Against Pochazia shantungensis (Hemiptera: Ricaniidae))

  • 갈색날개매미충의 방제전략을 확대하기 위하여 박하유에 대한 기피 효과를 살펴보았다. 23종의 방향유를 Y-tube olfactometer를 이용하여 후각 검정을 실시한 결과, 박하유(peppermint oil)와 lemongrass oil을 제외한 21종의 방향유는 갈색날개매미충에 대하여 기피반응이 나타나지 않았다. 단지 박하유만이 80% 이상의 기피효과가 관찰되었다. 박하유의 처리량에 따른 기피반응을 조사한 결과, 갈색날개매미충은 0.1, 0.5, $1{\mu}l$ 처리시 기피율이 점차 높아졌으며, $10{\mu}l$(76.47%) 처리량에서 높은 기피효과를 보였다. 박하유에는 1,8-cineole(4.7%), menthone(23.9%), iso-menthyl acetate(8.0%), menthol(53.7%) 등이 함유되어 있었다. 이들의 주요 성분함량을 혼합하여 Y-tube olfactometer를 이용하여 후각 검정한 결과, $5{\mu}l$ 처리시 76.2%의 높은 기피율을 보였다. 박하유는 야외에서 갈색날개매미충의 기피 및 산란 기피효과를 보였으나 단시간에만 활성이 강한 점과 약해의 가능성을 보아 제형 개발의 필요성이 대두된다.

모발 및 피부 개선의 오존화 올리브 오일 생산에 대한 안전성에 관한 연구 (The Study On Safety of Olive Oil Production Ozonized of Hair and Skin Improvement)

  • 본 연구는 부작용 없고 문제성 두피 및 피부개선 등에 효과가 좋지만 온도와 습도에 민감한 오존크림을 일정한 과산화물가와 방전관 내구성 안정적인 생산을 위한시스템을 개발하고자 한다. 더 나아가 올리브 오일과 오존과 반응시켜 제조하는 기술에 적용하고자 한다. 오존화 올리브 오일의 과산화물가가 1200 meg/kg 넘을 경우 미생물 살균에는 좋으나 두피 및 피부에 과민반응을 보이기 때문에 위험을 최소화하여 생산되도록 하는 것이 본 연구 및 실험의 목적이다. 그리고 안정된 생산을 위하여 제조 장치중에 방전관의 내구성도 실험하였다. 그 실험 결과 오존화 올리브오일의 과산화물가가 1300 meg/kg 로 적정하게 측정되었고, 방전관도 안정된 결과를 보였다.

대체냉매 R436B를 적용한 정수기 냉각수 시스템 신뢰성 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Reliability of Cooling Water Systems Using R436B)

  • The alternative refrigerant R436B is applied, to assess the application feasibility for a commercial cooling water system. The characteristic stability was verified by Sealed glass tube test and Autoclave test. R436B is chemically stable with the compressor material. The Oil miscibility test shows the usual compressor oil mixed well with R436B. Through the life acceleration test, the cooling performance is maintained. Though slight changes in oil and capillary tube diameter were found, they were within the permitted range. R436B should be applied to commercial cooling water systems as a simple replacement for the usual refrigerant.

  • Automotive shock absorber may not be regarded as only one(simple) damping machine because it is composed of many components, and shows non-linear damping characteristics. No matter how advanced form of shock absorber is developed, the oil shock absorber can not be neglected. because their structures are based on the oil shock absorber. Therefore it is essential to accurately analyze the dynamic characteristics of oil shock absorber. It stands mainly roi damper valve tuning which nowadays is still exhaustively done by means of ride work. In this study, damping mechanism and dynamic characteristics for oil shock absorber of twin tube type are analyzed, based on the mathematical model considering internal flow and pressure. For the reliability of numerical prediction. the database is constructed within the limit of adequate reliability. Finally, the programmed system that gives out necessary specification by inputting damping specification and tolerance is to be constructed.

X선 장치용 절연유의 방사선 유기전류에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Radiation Induced Current of X-ray Insulating Oil)

  • Radiation induced current of the insulating oil used for X-ray tube housing was investigated in this paper. The X-ray induced current increased in proportion to the X-ray intensity and X-ray wave length and was greatly affected by the temperature of the insulating oil and the gap length` however, the current was not varied by the amount of the X-ray absorbed. The results suggest that one must consider the following problems as important factors for X-ray machine design and normal operation: cooling system of the X-ray tube housing, X-ray intensity, increasing temperature due to continuous operation, years used, and oil exchange and management.

쉘-튜브 열교환기에서의 쉘쪽 유체의 특성에 따른 열교환기 성능 변화 예측 사례 (Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger Performance Estimation by Changing Shell-side Fluid Characteristics)

  • 쉘-튜브 열교환기가 나로우주센터 추진기관종합시험장(PSTC)에 설치되었으며, 이 열교환기는 극저온의 헬륨을 고온의 열매유와 열교환하여 약 500 K 까지 가열시키는 역할을 한다. 열교환기에서 토출되는 헬륨의 온도가 설계보다 100 K 낮게 나옴에 따라, 성능저하의 원인으로 열매유의 격막효과가 지목되었다. CFD 해석을 통해 격막효과의 유무를 확인하였으며, 격막효과에 의한 열교환기 성능저하는 미미한 것으로 판단되었다. 추가적으로 열교환기의 성능을 증가시키기 위하여 열매유 교체에 따른 열교환기 성능 변화를 알아보았다. 열매유를 사용하는 열교환기의 성능향상을 위해서는 500 K 부근에서 점성이 낮아야 하고, 열전도도가 높아야 한다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 추진기관종합시험장에서 운용된 극저온 헬륨과 고온 열매유의 열교환 시스템의 시험 결과를 본 논문에서 확인할 수 있다.

고온에서 이중튜브의 열응력특성해석 (Analysis of the Stress Characteristics of Double Layered Tube at Elevated Temperature)

  • Double layered tube that has been used for transportation and oil piping system is occasionally exposed to elevated temperature. The change in stress state at elevated temperature is important for the safe design of double layered tube. In this study, the variation of stress state for hydroformed double layered tube of which inner tube is stainless steel and outer tube is mild steel has been analytically analyzed. To characterize the thermal stress at elevated temperature, analytical model to provide thermal stresses between outer tube and inner tube was developed by using theories of elasticity and Lame equation. The feasibility of analytical model is verified by finite element analysis using ANSYS $CLASSIC^{TM}$, commercially available code. The variation of thermal stress at various thickness combination of inner and outer tube has also been investigated by proposed analytical model.

Convective heat transfer of MWCNT / HT-B Oil nanofluid inside micro-fin helical tubes under uniform wall temperature condition

  • Experiments are performed to investigate the single-phase flow heat transfer augmentation of MWCNT/HT-B Oil in both smooth and micro-fin helical tubes with constant wall temperature. The tests in laminar regime were carried out in helical tubes with three curvature ratios of 2R/d=22.1, 26.3 and 30.4. Flow Reynolds number varied from 170 to 1800 resulting in laminar flow regime. The effect of some parameters such as the nanoparticles concentration, the dimensionless curvature radius (2R/d) and the Reynolds number on heat transfer was investigated for the laminar flow regime. The weight fraction of nanoparticles in base fluid was less than 0.4%. Within the applied range of Reynolds number, results indicated that for smooth helical tube the addition of nanoparticles to the base fluid enhanced heat transfer remarkably. However, compared to the smooth helical tube, the average heat transfer augmentation ratio for finned tube was small and about 17%. Also, by increasing the weight fraction of nanoparticles in micro-fin helical tubes, no substantial changes were observed in the rate of heat transfer enhancement.
