In a NNP (Nuclear Power Plant) severe accident, radionuclides are dispersed into the air. The official regulatory institute, KINS (Korea Institute of Nuclear Safety), has been authorized and developing Computerized technical Advisory system for the Radiological Emergency preparedness (CARE). In this paper, in line with the CARE system, we presented the result of a modularized intermediate-level emergency dose assessment computer code. The RADCON (RADiological CONsequence analysis) version 3.0, which is operable on PC, is developed for simulating emergency situation by considering continuous washout phenomena, and provide a function of effective emergency planning. The source files are coded by using C language in order to increase the compatibility with the other computer system and modularized to adjust the functions and characteristics of each module fer easy understanding and further modification.

To ensure the correctness of high performance satisfiability (SAT) solvers, several proof formats have been proposed. SAT solvers can report a formula being unsatisfiable with a proof, which can be independently verified by a trusted proof checker. Among the proof formats accepted at the SAT competition, the Reverse Unit Propagation (RUP) format is considered the most popular. However, the official proof checker was not efficient and failed to check many of the proofs at the competition. This inefficiency is one of the drawbacks of SAT proof checking. In this paper, I introduce a work-in-progress project, vercheck to implement an efficient RUP checker using modern SAT solving techniques. Even though my implementation is larger and more complex, the level of trust is preserved by statically verifying the correctness of the code. The vercheck program is written in GURU, a dependently typed functional programming language with a low-level resource management feature.
This paper makes a quantitative analysis of the diachronic evolution of ancient Chinese vocabulary by constructing and counting a large-scale rough annotated corpus. The texts from Si Ku Quan Shu (a collection of Chinese ancient books) are automatically segmented to obtain ancient Chinese vocabulary with time information, which is used to the statistics on word frequency, standardized type/token ratio and proportion of monosyllabic words and dissyllabic words. Through data analysis, this study has the following four findings. Firstly, the high-frequency words in ancient Chinese are stable to a certain extent. Secondly, there is no obvious dissyllabic trend in ancient Chinese vocabulary. Moreover, the Northern and Southern Dynasties (420-589 AD) and Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368 AD) are probably the two periods with the most abundant vocabulary in ancient Chinese. Finally, the unique words with high frequency in each dynasty are mainly official titles with real power. These findings break away from qualitative methods used in traditional researches on Chinese language history and instead uses quantitative methods to draw macroscopic conclusions from large-scale corpus.
As public gives more attention on the well being trend, the aim of this study on the Sommelier - an industry profession in the hotel and food service industry is to suggest the educational plan to meet the demand as a professional and to help establish the direction to the effective curriculum. Findings from this study showed that a Sommelier need to possess knowledge in not just wine but in areas such as foreign language, computer, management, hotel and restaurant, global manner, and etc. It was also recommended to authorize the sommelier license as an official and to develop educational entities for sommelier.
English as official languages of the world has constantly increased the necessity. Since 1997 the government has adopted English as a regular subject in elementary school and Currently, an English specialist teacher has been employed, and native speakers have been hired in schools. In addition to, Teaching English in elementary schools was common. The importance of English was emphasized not only private organizations but also government, As the early 2000s, local provinces were interested in English education. To reflect the phenomenon is an English village. Seoul, Gyeonggi province and almost all other municipalities built the English village for each region. The English Experience Center and the English village surveyed how they are being operated and also checked students who have completed English Experience Center Research methods is to survey currently running the English Villages, and the experience centers by analyzing the programs. As a result of the programs, most English centers achieved its own purposes. Thus, This study checks Busan, Seoul, Gyeonggi English Village and Jeollanam-do English experience camp used for data analyzes and suggests improvements for English education.
The first and the longest criminal indictment case of Korean medico-legal battle, so called BORAMAE Hospital Incident, was finally on its end by Korean Supreme Court's decision on June 24, 2004, after 7 years long legal dispute via Seoul District Court and Seoul Superior Appeal Court's decision. Boramae Hospital case was the first Korean legal case of Withdrawing Life-sustaining treatment of mechanical respirator on 58 years old Extradural Hematoma victim who was on Respirator under Coma after multi-organ failure postoperatively(APACHE II score: 34-39). Two physicians who have involved patient's care and had helped to make discharge the Near-death patient to home after repeated demand of patient's wife, due to economic reason, were sentenced as homicidal crime. This review article will discuss the following items with the review of US cases, Quinlan(1976), Nancy Cruzan(1990), Barber (1983), Helen Wanglie(1990), Baby K (1994) and Baby L cases, along with Official Statement of ATS and other Academic dignitaries of US and World.: [1] Details of Boramae Hospital incident, medical facts description and legal language of homicidal crime sentence. Stock market news sentiment analysis (SA) aims to identify the attitudes of the news of the stock on the official platforms toward companies' stocks. It supports making the right decision in investing or analysts' evaluation. However, the research on Arabic SA is limited compared to that on English SA due to the complexity and limited corpora of the Arabic language. This paper develops a model of sentiment classification to predict the polarity of Arabic stock news in microblogs. Also, it aims to extract the reasons which lead to polarity categorization as the main economic causes or aspects based on semantic unity. Therefore, this paper presents an Arabic SA approach based on the logistic regression model and the Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT) model. The proposed model is used to classify articles as positive, negative, or neutral. It was trained on the basis of data collected from an official Saudi stock market article platform that was later preprocessed and labeled. Moreover, the economic reasons for the articles based on semantic unit, divided into seven economic aspects to highlight the polarity of the articles, were investigated. The supervised BERT model obtained 88% article classification accuracy based on SA, and the unsupervised mean Word2Vec encoder obtained 80% economic-aspect clustering accuracy. Predicting polarity classification on the Arabic stock market news and their economic reasons would provide valuable benefits to the stock SA field.
Under Article IV of the United Nations Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards (New York Convention), in order to obtain the recognition and enforcement of a foreign arbitral award, a party applying for recognition and enforcement of a foreign arbitral award shall supply (a) the duly authenticated original award or a duly certified copy thereof and (b) the original arbitration agreement or a duly certified copy thereof. In addition, if the arbitral award or arbitration agreement is not made in an official language of the country in which the award is relied upon, the party applying for recognition and enforcement of the award shall produce a translation of these documents into such language, and the translation shall be certified by an official or sworn translator or by a diplomatic or consular agent. In a case where a Vietnamese company which had obtained a favorable arbitral award in Vietnam applied for recognition and enforcement of a Vietnamese arbitral award before a Korean court, the recent Korean Supreme Court Judgment (Docket No. 2004 Da 20180. 'Judgment') rendered on December 12, 2004 has alleviated the document requirements as follows : The Judgment held that (i) the party applying for recognition andenforcement of a foreign arbitral award does not have to strictly comply with the document requirements when the other party does not dispute the existence and the content of the arbitral award and the arbitration agreement and that (ii) in case the translation submitted to the court does not satisfy the requirement of Article 4, the court does not have to dismiss the case on the ground that the party applying for recognition and enforcement of a foreign arbitral award has failed to comply with the translation requirement under Article 4, and instead may supplement the documents by obtaining an accurate Korean translation from an expert translator at the expense of the party applying for recognition and enforcement of the foreign arbitral award. In this regard, the author fully supports the view of the Judgment. Finally, the Judgment held that, even though the existence of a written arbitration agreement was not disputed at the arbitration, there was no written arbitration agreement between the plaintiff and the defendant and wenton to repeal the judgment of the second instance which admitted the existence of a written arbitration agreement between the parties. In this regard, the author does not share the view of the Judgment. The author believes that considering the trend of alleviating the formality requirement of arbitration agreements under Article 2 of the New York Convention, the Supreme Court could have concluded that there was a written arbitration agreement because the defendant participated in thearbitration proceedings in Vietnam without disputing the formality requirement of the arbitration agreement. Or the Supreme Court should have taken the view that the defendant was no longer permitted to dispute the formality requirement of the arbitration agreement because otherwise it would be clearly against the doctrine of estoppel.
Constellations are formed of bright stars which appear close to each other on the sky, but are really far apart in space. The shapes you see all depend on your point of view. Back before people had televisions and electricity to light their homes at night, they spent a lot more time looking at the stars. People all over the world used their imaginations to draw pictures in the sky, as if it were a giant connect-the-dot game. The patterns they imagined are called constellations. People usually saw patterns that reflected their different cultures. Native Americans in North America imagined many animals and shapes from the natural world. The ancient Greeks found images of gods and goddesses in the stars. Sometimes people from very different parts of the world even imagined the same animal or shape in the same stars. Most of the constellations we recognize today were made up by the ancient Greeks around 6,000 years ago. Different constellations are visible at different times of year, so the first appearance of these patterns told farmers of the changing seasons and reminded them to plant or harvest their crops. The constellations also help us to find our way around the night sky and to remember which stars are which. The star names we use today are mostly from Greek and Arabic, but many are changed a bit from the original, as often happens when words are passed from one language to another. It can be difficult to picture just what those folks long ago were seeing in the stars, so don't be discouraged if you have trouble seeing their patterns. You can even make up your own! In ancient world all the countries or regions had their own way to name things up in the sky, make up stories and draw different shapes for constellations. Today there are 88 official constellations, but you may find that different books show their stars connected in slightly different ways. The official constellations are specific regions of the sky, so the exact patterns are not all that important. However in various cultures there are some famous star patterns that use stars from only apart of a constellation, or even connect stars from different constellations. These patterns of stars that are not official constellations are called asterisms. The Big Dipper is a very famous asterism, found in the constellation Ursa Major, or Great Bear.
In recent academic debates within the UN Group of Experts on Geographical Names, two contrasting views evolved as regards to the status of the names of transboundary features or features beyond a single sovereignty. The partial view posits that a name is an endonym only for those portions of a feature where the name corresponds to the language used while the whole view argues that a name in its official language is an endonym for the whole feature. In either of these views, the name East Sea should be given due respect, for the Korean territorial waters at least or as an endonym for the entire sea. This paper supports the partial view that a geographical feature can be separated and each separated portion can have different name forms and status. Regarding the separation of a feature, the limits to which local people perceive as 'their' sea should be used. The name East Sea is proposed as the translated form of an endonym Donghae.
