  • Recent commercial systems are too large and too complex to restructure their design by hand without tools and cost too much time and effort. This thesis presents a restructuring approach using cohesion and coupling of classes to change object-oriented designs automatically. The matrix which represents the relation between methods is defined using cohesion and coupling, restructuring approach selects the class to have the lowest cohesion and combines the selected class with the closest class.

  • This paper presents a method to segment object ID(identification) marks on poor quality images under uncontrolled lighting conditions of automated inspection process. The method is based on dynamic programming using multiple templates and normalized gray-level correlation (NGC) method. If the lighting condition is not good and hence, we can not control the image quality, target image to be inspected presents poor quality ID marks and it is not easy to identify and recognize the ID characters. Conventional several methods to segment the interesting ID mark regions fail on the bad quality images. In this paper, we propose a multiple template method, which uses combinational relation of multiple templates from model templates to match several characters of the inspection images. To increase the computation speed to segment the ID mark regions, we introduce the dynamic programming based algorithm. Experimental results using images from real factory automation(FA) environment are presented.

  • We analyze the host galaxy of the tidal disruption object, Swift J1644+57, based on long-term optical to NIR data obtained with CQUEAN and UKIRT WFCAM observations. We decompose the bulge component using high resolution HST WFC3 images. We conclude that the host galaxy is bulge dominant. We investigate optical to NIR light curves and estimate the multi-band fluxes of the host galaxy. We fit spectral energy distribution (SED) models in order to determine the stellar mass. Finally, we estimate the mass of the black hole in the center of the host galaxy based on several scale relations.

  • In this papers, it will be introduced that power quality analysis software design including investigation of mutual relation between power quality data and mechanism for getting data from power quality database according as based on object-oriented methodology. The UML which is only a language and so is just part of a software development, may be used to visualize, specify, construct, and document the artifacts of software-intensive system.

  • Especially, the case which the facilities have been shielded in the building. In this case there must be suitable grounding system, and this case must be considered sufficiently to the one part of the design at the design. in addition there must be an electric leakage defense system and The case to be a criterion signal ground system. Rod type grounding electrodes is applied much and we studied the relation that rod type grounding method and shielding room as newly grounding object. in this paper, shield room is the object(target) to be established newly additionally, we try to describe about the flow of a grounding technology concept change and a ground facilities.

  • It is the new promising method of obtaining the information about the state of a surface of a solid body, thin and multilayer structures. An idea of the method consists in reading and analyzing the relations U(t), dU/dt(t), dU/dt(U) on an electrical cell when anodizing an investigated object. By these relation it is possible to control the presence of impurities in the metal on the path of the anodization front, a structure and characteristics of the object being oxidized as well as of an oxide which is being formed during anodizing, the change in composition of the oxide layer, the thickness and composition of metallic and dielectric layers being a part of the layers boundaries.

  • There are many researches on visual languages, but the most of them are difficult to support various collaborative interactions on a distributed multimedia environment. So, this paper suggests a collaborative visual language for interaction between multi-users. The visual language can describe a conceptual model for collaborative interactions between multi-users. Using the visual language, generated visual sentences consist of object icons and interaction operators. An object icon represents a user who is responsible for a collaborative activity, has dynamic attributes of a user, and supports flexible interaction between multi-users. An interaction operator represents an interactive relation between multi-users and supports various collaborative interactions. Merits of the visual language are as follows: supporting of both asynchronous interaction and synchronous interaction, supporting flexible interaction between multi-users according to participation or leave of users, supporting a user oriented modeling, etc. For example, an application to a workflow system for document approval is illustrated. So we could be found that the visual language shows a collaborative interaction.

  • 'Movement System' is made of the interaction of user and architectural spaces related to each other in order. 'Movement' meant in movement system is possible only in the status of user and architectural space together. Movement created and disappeared by the user is not subordinated to the existing architectural space but becomes the main element of formating movement system. It is required that movement conception applied to architecture should be derived from the essence of movement and this study presents the movement system. To explain the formating process of movement system, A. N. Whitehead's process philosophy theory is at the basis and transformed in architectural aspects. On basis of these theoretical backgrounds, the process of making movement system can be explained. There are unit movement, unit object, and elements for movement process as the basic requirements for movement system, each unit is apprehended by individual operation and the nexus is composed by associative operation of apprehended units. This nexus becomes the object of a new subject and forms multiple nexus. Relation of unit movement and unit object and nexus are apprehended as the continuation and extensive continuum is made. At that time, movement with multiple phases set inbetween systems and extended multiplied. Through above study, movement system is applied to Korean traditional houses.

  • A visual sensor consisted of polygonal mirror, laser, and CCD camera was proposed to measure the distance to the weld joint for recognizing the joint shape. To scan the laser beam of the sensor onto an object, 8-facet polygonal mirror was used as the rotating mirror. By locating the laser and the camera at axi-symmetrical positions around the mirror, the synchronized-scan condition could be satisfied even when the mirror was set to rotate through one direction continuously, which could remove the inertia effect of the conventional oscillating-mirror methods. The mathematical modelling of the proposed sensor with the optical triangulation method made it possible to derive the relation between the position of an image on the camera and the one of a laser light on the object. Through the geometrical simulation of the proposed sensor with the principal of reflection and virtual image, the optical path of a laser light could be predicted. The position and direction of the CCD camera were determined based on the Scheimpflug's condition to fit the focus of any image reflected from an object within the field of view. The results of modelling and simulation revealed that the proposed visual sensor could be used to recognize the weld joint and its vicinity located within the range of the field of view and the resolution. • It's difficult for other designer to understand easily, due to existing abstract form-generation method of digital authors like Greg Lynn and Peter D. Eisenman. This study uses IDEF${\emptyset}$ process diagram in order to remodel procedures and elements of this abstract 3d based form-generation method. IDEF${\emptyset}$ process diagram is the method operated prior to a design of digital program. For object-oriented modeling of each form-generation element technology, IDEF${\emptyset}$ process has been modeled. For this sort of IDEF${\emptyset}$ process modeling, digital architectural theory and analysis method has been generalized With them above, this study suggests the 3d-based form-generation IDEF${\emptyset}{\emptyset}$process model for developing digital tool eventually through the object-oriented components and setting up the mutual roles, relation as well. In conclusion, 3d-based form-generation IDEF${\emptyset}$process model, this study suggests, models form generation methods of existing digital authors using IDEF${\emptyset}$ process for developing digital tool in the future.
