환자안전 관리를 위한 위험요인 분석 (Analysis of Risk Factors for Patient Safety Management)

  • Purpose: This is a pilot study to identify patient safety risk factors and strategies for patient safety management perceived by nurses. Methods: Data were collected and analyzed with an open questionnaire from April to May 2005, targeted on 100 nurses working in two hospitals. The issues were 'what are risk factors for patients, nurses, and other medical practitioners? How do they prevent with the aftermath of risk factors, causes of incidents?' For data analysis, types and frequency of risk factors were worked out, using the Australian Incident Monitoring System Taxonomy. Results: The types of patient safety risk factor perceived by nurses were as follows ; therapeutic devices or equipment, infrastructure and services (29.5%), nosocomial infections (16.3%), clinical processes or procedures (15.4%), behavior, human performance, violence, aggression, security and safety (12.2%), therapeutic agents (9.7%), injuries and pressure ulcers (8.7%), logistics, organization, documentation, and infrastructure technology (5.6%). Strategies for patient safety included training of prevention of infection, education about safety management for patients and medical professionals, establishment of reporting system, culture of care, pre-elimination of risk factors, cooperative system among employees, and sharing information. Conclusion: These results will be used to provide evidences for patient safety management and educational program.

보건교사의 직무만족도, 학교조직문화 및 감정노동과의 관계 (The Relationship among Job satisfaction, School organizational culture and Emotional labor in Health Teachers)

  • 본 연구는 보건교사를 대상으로 직무만족도, 학교조직문화 및 감정노동과의 관계를 알아보고, 보건교사의 직무만족도를 높이고, 감정노동을 감소시켜 바람직한 학교조직문화를 형성하도록 방향을 모색하고자 한다. 본 연구는 상관성 조사연구로써 경기도 초등, 중 고등학교에 재직 중인 보건교사 60명을 대상으로 실시하였으며, 자료수집기간은 2018년 6월 1일부터 6월 30일까지였다. 자료는 SPSS Program 21.0을 이용하여 평균, 표준편차, 최소값, 최대값, Correlation coefficient로 분석하였다. 연구결과 보건교사의 직무만족도와 학교조직문화는 순상관관계로 나타났다. 이는 학교조직문화의 수준이 높을수록 학교직무에 대하여 긍정적인 태도를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 보건교사의 학교조직문화를 긍정적으로 자각하고 직무만족도를 높일 수 있는 효율적인 프로그램의 개발 및 적용이 필요하다.

병원근무자의 직무만족 요인 분석 (Job Satisfaction of Hospital Employees)

  • Purpose: To identify job satisfaction of hospital employees and the relating factors Methods: The study sample was a total of 1,031 healthcare workers(doctors, nurses, pharmacists, medical engineers, office workers, etc) at a tertiary teaching hospital. The data were collected using a questionnaire developed by a expert group. The questionnaire consisted of 21 items including job characteristics, organizational culture, and personal characteristics on the five Likert scale. Results: The overall satisfaction on job characteristics was 3.24 on the five Likert scale. The satisfaction of each item was 4.14 in role clarity, 3.26 in communication participating rate, 3.10 in work variety, 3.06 in autonomy, and 2.64 in workload. The overall satisfaction on organizational culture was 3.00. Particularly, the satisfaction on collaboration was 3.83, co-worker's support. 3.73, identity, 3.62, education/training opportunity, 3.12, pay, 2.62, welfare, 2.35, promotion, 2.34, and organizational conflict, 2.00. The level of satisfaction on personal characteristics was 3.00. In the satisfaction of each item, the score of disposition was 3.83, contribution to the hospital, 3.75, pride as a member of hospital, 3.70, and attitude on job performance, 3.68. The correlation between satisfaction and other variables was statistically significant with the exception of work variety. The satisfaction related significantly to loyalty index(r=.486, p=.000), autonomy(r=.415, p=.000), pride as a member of hospital(r=.411, p=.000), supervisor support(r=.364, p=.000). Conclusions: The results showed developing organizational strategy to promote job satisfaction can decrease the turnover rate and increase loyalty to the organization. It will contribute to enhance productivity in hospital.

Effects of Holistic Healthcare Home Visit Intervention Program for Multi-cultural Couples

  • This study was to identify the effects of home visit intervention program for Holistic Healthcare of multi-culture Couples. It used a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design quasi-experimental research. The subjects of this study consist of 20 couples for experimental and control groups. Multi-cultural couples comprised of foreign women married to Korean men in farm and fishery areas. The research tools were used stress index by SA-3000P (Medicare co. Ltd. KOREA), Center for Epidemiologic Studies-Depression Scale (CES-D), and World Health Organization Quality of Life (WHOQOL-Bref). The experimental group of the wives had lower stress index than the control group, the experimental group of the husband showed lower stress index than the control group, (t=-3.14, p=.002). The wife (t=-3.75, p=.001) and husband (t=-4.20, p=.001) of the experimental group showed lower depression scores than the control group. Both the wife (t=3.86, p=.001) and husband (t=5.28, p=.001) showed higher scores for quality of life compared to the control group. It was found that this holistic healthcare home visit program is an effective program to make improvements on stress, depression and quality of life for multi-cultural couples. Therefore, as the intervention program developed in this study is home visits for the holistic health of multi-cultural couples, and it is judged that it can be implemented at the local social health centers or healthcare centers.

DACUM 기법에 의한 병원코디네이터실장의 직무분석 연구 (The Job Analysis of Head Hospital Coordinators Based on the DACUM Method)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the job of Head hospital coordinators based on the DACUM(Developing A Curriculum) method. The contents of this study were to extract the duties, tasks and performance standards consisting of the job of a Head hospital coordinator and to investigate levels of importance, difficulties, frequency and entry level on each task, and to make out a job model of Head hospital coordinators. A DACUM committee(seven members) was composed to analyze the job of Head hospital coordinators and the committee members were totally nine : a facilitator, seven Head hospital coordinators and a recorder. This study was conducted in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province from August to December, 2015. The major findings of this study were as follows; first, a Head hospital coordinator is defined to be an expert to create values and culture of a hospital, plan and manage hospital's efficient management methods to maximize customer satisfaction and improve the management of a hospital. Second, the job of Head hospital coordinators was categorized into total nine duties and sixty eight tasks. Third, duties in the job of Head hospital coordinators were classified into organization of medical management planning, medical management analysis, medical service quality management, hospital marketing, hospital customer management, hospital human resource management, hospital organization management, hospital financial management and self development.

회복마취간호사의 직무만족도 영향 요인 (Impact of Job Stress, Organizational Culture and Professional Identity on Job Satisfaction of Post-anesthesia Care Unit Nurses)

  • 본 연구는 회복마취간호사의 직무스트레스, 조직문화 및 전문직 정체성, 직무만족도 정도를 확인하고 직무만족도에 영향 미치는 관련요인을 규명하고자 실시하였다. 149명의 회복마취간호사를 대상으로 자료를 수집한 결과, 직무스트레스는 $3.86{\pm}0.47$, 조직문화는 $3.19{\pm}0.34$, 전문직 정체성 $3.46{\pm}0.40$, 직무만족도는 $3.19{\pm}0.39$였다. 직무만족도는 간호사의 소속에 따라 차이가 있었고(t=2.563, p=.011), 직무만족도는 직무스트레스 중 보수 및 대우(r=.373, p<.001), 조직문화 중 혁신지향 문화(r=.507, p<.001)와 관계지향 문화(r=.559, p<.001), 그리고 전문직 정체성(r=.544, p<.001)과 양의 상관관계로 나타났다. 회복마취간호사의 직무만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인은 전문직 정체성(${\beta}=.391$, p<.001), 관계지향 조직문화(${\beta}=.302$, p<.001), 혁신지향 조직문화(${\beta}=.209$, p=.004) 순이었고 세 변인이 설명하는 직무만족도의 총 설명변량은 48.7%였다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 회복마취간호사의 직무만족도를 높이기 위해서는 전문직 정체성 향상과 관계 및 혁신지향 조직문화를 활성화하기 위한 방안이 고려되어야 할 것이라 사료되며, 전문직 정체성 확립을 위한 지속적인 교육과 관계 및 혁신지향 조직문화 형성을 위한 전략 개발 및 운영을 제언한다.

지하철 역무직 근로자의 주간수면과다증 영향 요인 (The influential Factors of excessive daytime sleepiness for public Service Workers at Subway Stations)

  • 본 연구는 서울시내 소재 지하철 역무직 근로자 927명을 대상으로 주간수면과다증에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고자 실시하였다. 자료수집은 구조화된 설문지로 웹사이트에서 하였고, 자료분석은 SPSS 20.0 통계프로그램을 이용하였다. 연구결과는 일반적 특성에서 결혼여부가 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었고, 건강관련특성에서 취미/여가 활동 여부가 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 직무관련특성에서 근무장소, 소속만족도가 유의한 차이가 있었고, 직무스트레스 요인으로 물리적 환경, 직무요구, 직무자율, 관계갈등, 조직체계, 보상부적절, 조직문화에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 주간수면과다증에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 취미여가활동, 소속만족도, 물리적 환경, 직무요구, 직무자율, 조직체계, 조직문화 이었으며 20.5%의 설명력을 나타냈다. 향후 역무직 근로자들에게 주간수면과다증을 예방할 수 있는 취미/여가활동의 권장과 직무스트레스 해소를 위한 물리적 환경개선, 조직체계의 변화 및 조직문화의 만족을 위한 중재 프로그램의 개발 및 운영을 제안한다.

잠재계층분석에 의한 간호사가 지각하는 간호관리자의 리더십유형이 업무수행능력과 이직의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Nursing Managers' Leadership Type perceived by Nurses on the Job Performance and Turnover Intention through A Latent Class Analysis)

  • 본 연구는 M시 소재 3개 종합병원에서 근무하는 간호사 214명을 대상으로, 2017년 7월 17일~8월 7일까지 자료 조사하였다. 수집된 자료분석은 SPSS WIN 21.0과 간호관리자의 리더십 유형에 따른 잠재계층을 분석하기 위해 Mplus 7.00을 이용하였다. 잠재계층분석에 따른 업무수행능력, 이직의도의 차이는 변혁-거래-감성이 높은 리더십의 경우 업무수행능력이 $4.44{\pm}.37$점으로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 이직의도는 $2.62{\pm}.59$점으로 가장 낮은 점수를 보였다. 변혁-거래-감성이 낮은 리더십의 경우 업무수행능력이 $3.51{\pm}.41$점이고 이직의도는 $3.25{\pm}.41$점으로 높은 이직율을 보였다. 따라서, 잠재계층분석에 의한 간호관리자의 리더십의 유형은 업무수행능력과 이직의도에 영향을 미치는 요인임을 알 수 있었다. 변혁적-거래-감성의 리더십을 높게 지각할수록 업무수행능력과 이직의도에 미치는 영향이 크므로 간호조직의 관리자는 효율적인 리더십을 함양하고, 변혁적, 거래적, 감성적 리더십을 통하여 간호사들의 업무수행능력을 향상시키고, 이직의도를 낮출 수 있도록 간호관리자의 리더십 함양을 높이기 위한 교육훈련 개발이 필요하다.

종합병원 간호사의 요통과 직무스트레스 (Low Back Pain and Job Stress in Hospital Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study was to identify the relationship between low back pain and job stress in hospital nurses. Method: A descriptive correlation research design was employed. The participants were 355 nurses who worked in a general hospital in W city Kangwon-do and consented to participate in this study. The Visual Analog Scale and job stress scale were used in this study. Analysis included descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and partial correlation coefficients. Results: Experience of low back pain for nurse in the past was 86.5% and in the present was 67.5% for low back pain which measured an average of 4.4 points for the level of low back pain. The mean score for job stress was relatively low(M=47.2). Job demand, organization system, job instability and conflict in relationships contributed to high stress scores, instead inappropriate compensation, job culture, and job autonomy contributed to low stress. There was a significant relationship between low back pain and job stress. Conclusion: These results suggest that further research is needed to develop programs to prevention and management of low back pain for nurses.

아동병원 간호사의 감염관리조직문화, 감염예방환경이 감염관리 수행에 미치는 영향 (Factors Influencing Infection Control Performance by Children's Hospital Nurses Infection Control Organizational Culture and Infection Prevention Environment)

  • The purpose of the study is to determine the relationship between the infection control organizational culture, infection prevention environment, and infection control performance of nurses at a children's hospital and to identify factors affecting infection control performance. The subjects of the study were 160 nurses from five children's hospitals, and data collection was conducted from February 19 to 29, 2024. Data analysis was performed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and difference analysis of variables using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. As a result of the study, infection control performance was positively correlated with infection control organizational culture (r= .610, p< .001) and infection prevention environment (r= .586, p< .001), and as a result of multiple regression analysis, infection control organization The influencing factors appeared in the following order: culture (β= .369), infection prevention environment (β= .312), medical institution accreditation evaluation experience (β= .165), and infection control education experience (β= .137), and the overall explanatory power was It was 50.8% (F=41.966, p< .001). Based on the results of this study, to carry out infection control in children's hospitals, integrated management including the will and effort of individual nurses, support and policy from medical institutions and the government is needed, and the development of an infection control education program that takes into account the special characteristics of children's hospital nurses. Application is necessary.
