This research was conducted to investigate the physicochemical characteristics of stream water at the four points in the northeastern part of Puk'ansan National Park from July, 1998 to November, 1999. The average pH of stream water was 6.65 and dissolved oxygen was $10.7mg/{\ell}$, which indicated that the quality could be categorized in the first class for the quality of river water quality standard. In addition, the water was soft water and average percentage of dissolved oxygen was 96.7%, which was almost saturated. The number of visitors resulted in the increase of dissolved ion, witch affected on electrical conductivity of the water. The relationships between those factors was significant at the 1% level in linear regression. The electrical conductivity and the amount of anion($Cl^-$, $NO{_3}^-$, $SO{_4}^{2-}$)in downstream were higher than those in upstream.

This study was carried out to focus on the user-oriented design of patients' room in general hospital. The purpose of the study was to examine the users' evaluation on their patients' rooms in H General Hospital and to suggest how to improve the patients' room design. The users were inpatients, care givers, and nurses, 300 subjects of each 100 users in H hospital. They evaluated 26 items related to the patients' room design using by 5-points Likert scale. Also, they answered three elements which bothered them, what needed improvement, and what they feel ill at ease. The results were as followings; 1) The users evaluated positively the location and size of window. This implies that the current one is relatively ideal and deserve to be maintained. 2) The users responded negatively to the thermostat system and the space for care-givers. 3) The lack of space for care-givers and visitors, common use of refrigerator and bathroom, and the lack of space bothered the users. 4) Most users mentioned the lack of space in patients' room. This implies that it needs to consider the change of the person number per patient's room, from 5 persons to 4 ones. 5) The lacks of sleeping space, dining space, and bathroom space bothered the care-givers. This implies that the space for care-givers such as sleeping, dinging, and bathing should be considered in patients' room.

Local area festivals have grown on a scale for the past 20 years, but have suffered ups and downs. Through the trial and error of the festival operation, problems such as prediction of the number of visitors, planning of event scale, calculation and expansion of sales volume, and management of various participants in the duration were highlighted. To solve, this study designed and developed a mobile payment system and festival operation management system for local scale festivals as a platform operating system of web and app combined. The results of this study presents four basic functions. It includes ticketing management, attendance identification and entrance control, charge of festival currency and use of payments, real-time provision and management of related information, and performance reporting for each role. It was applied to local festivals in practice as to enable local shop owners to participate in advertisements or sponsorships and confirmed their contribution to local commercial market and the revitalization of festivals through this system.

Website usability has been considered as a critical success factor for e-business. It has been widely acknowledged that website design with high level of usability results in positive outcomes including the increased number of visitors and vigorous user activities. Navigation which is an action for accessing and finding information is closely related with web usability when user access website providing information. The purpose of this study is to obtain design insights for improving website navigability of Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare (MHW). Action research and gaze analysis methods were applied, and we found design issues with regard to navigability in MHW website and the way how to improve. The lessons and implementation experiences will be beneficial in stimulating further theoretical work from researchers in the area of web usability. We also expect our study provide significant insights for design practitioners.

This paper aims to propose ways to promote SNS marketing at school library sites with case study analyses in school libraries. To this end, in-depth interview was conducted with 10 Teacher Librarians who had used SNS in library operation and an in analysis was made of the operation status, motives and objectives, strategies and performances of the school library's SNS marketing. According to the study, most Teacher Librarians were found to be using SNS such as Facebook, Instagram, Kakao Plus Friends and so on in an attempt to improve accessibility and utilization of the library resources first. Not only that, they used SNS for the purpose of communicating with users while increasing the number of visitors and identifying the needs of users. The messages provided through SNS are information on school libraries and their reading programs, and the target market mainly involved their students. Based on the above research results, measures to promote SNS in school libraries were discussed, including the need for marketing consultative bodies, expansion of SNS targets, and enhancement of expertise in SNS.

Cheoungju International Craft Biennale is not just an art exhibition but more like a pubic festival which is including an experiential learning and a public participation section as well as a special exhibition and an international competition section. Thus it is strongly required to present an appropriate meaning and mood corresponding to each exhibition hall. The paper has examined the exhibition topics during the last 10 years and the plannings and contents to install the exhibition hall according the yearly topic and it has analyzed the comprehensive evaluations after the exhibition. The research scope is limited to the part related to the exhibition hall and facilities, which is including calculation of dimensions and layout, access and movement system, the appropriateness of the design and construction period, measure of applied technology appropriateness, post management as well as planning intent, estimation of the number of the visitors, preliminaries. With the results shown in the comprehensive evaluation and analysis, the paper has presented two issues, the one related to the procensure and preparation and the other related to the facilities. It is showed that both problems are due to the lack of expertise and it is necessary for the experts to participate from the first step of the procedure including planning for the successful exhibition. For the appropriate exhibition hall corresponding to the exhibition planning and scale, it is required to have the professional considerations of successful space and visitor's movement management, display environment, construction method, and post management. The study presents that architectural and interior design have to take an active part in constructing exhibition design in overall stage including the initial, practice, and evaluation stage.

This study was carried out to investigate exercise load of visitors and physical condition of stairway in the trail of Keumsan located in Hallyo-Haesang National Park. Total trail length of Keumsan is 2,126m, and the number of step-trail section are 15, and the total length of step-trail section is 1,000.4m. Average gradient of step-trail was 20~40%. But the gradient and length were 45.7% and 268.5m in the section 11, and 58.4% and 188.6m in the section 12. The greatest gradient was 67.8% in the section 13. During the climbing in trail, heart rate were 104~184beats/min.. And in the step-trail section 11, 12, and 13, IHR, ELI, and %HRmax were 166.5%, 89.1%, 92.9%, and 167.4%, 89.6%, 93.2%, and 157.8%, 84.5%, 89.9%, respectively.

This Study is an analysis of the tourism geography for Past thirty years and an indicator for the future. I searched for the specificity by classifying of subjects, periods, and Researcher's achievements and tendencies. The Results are followings: (1) Sightseeing places are superior to visitors in research activities. Research activities are outstanding in developing sightseeing site and Its effect as well as geographical research about city and hot spring. The research activity to tourist was occupied a great number tourist behaviour to tourism place but the research was insufficied somewhat inhabitants in tourism place. (2) According to the period and results analysis. The period of domestic study is divided in to 3 steps. 1970s are said to be the pre-step for developing, 1980s are said to be growth step, but 1990s are considered as the age of maturity in the multiful research realm and broad theme. Finally, I think it is difficult to analyse total outcome to the tourism geography by limited data. This study will be evidencied on the objective standard by multiful data in nearly future because this indwelled in the subjectivity on the subject choice and process of the object classification.

Recently, there have been a number of news reports on natural disasters, like earthquakes. typhoons, floods and tsunami, all over the world. Korea does not seem to be safe from such disasters or terror threats. As places with high numbers of visitors. libraries need to take preventive measures to be prepared for such disasters and threats. This paper analyzes the current status of emergency measures adopted by 75 public libraries in Seoul. Daejeon and Jeonbuk in Korea. For each library surveyed. the causes of and ways to recover from disasters were reviewed and detailed analyses were carried out in low areas: Implementation of preventive measures disaster management and equipment, status of human resources and assignment of people to disaster recovery, safety courses offered to library users and training methods. In addition, each area was analyzed in regard to possible solutions and ideas for improvement, as well as suggestions to upgrade disaster recovery systems in the future.

This study analyzed economic feasibility using the real options theory of the eco-environment area project in Saemangeum. I defined the main factors affecting project sales during the 30 years operation period. The real option-based analysis is proposed through the managerial flexibility by estimating the volatility of project sales using scenarios analysis method. The number of visitors, admission fee, leisure program fee, and O&M costs required for economic analysis of eco-environment park were analyzed by reviewing cases of similar eco-environment parks in Korea. The option value is calculated by assuming that the developers have an option right that can be abandoned. B/C is less than 1 and NPV is negative, so it is impossible to proceed with the project using the traditional economic analysis. The project value difference between NPV (-46.6 billion Won) and option value (28.1 billion Won) increased by 74.7 billion Won. Through this study, decision-makers of public institutions and private developers who plan eco-environment area projects will be able to use the real option technique proposed in this study.
